Pepz Pizza & Eatery

We haven’t been here in a couple years, although the food is still fantastic, the place overall has gone downhill.
The guy who took our order didn’t even greet us. He was too busy watching the game that he didn’t even look at my face. He asked for my order and then when I ordered he said “what was that again” still watching the game. I repeated my order, which was one pizza, nothing else, should not be too confusing but hey…he was to into the game to care.
When our pizza comes out, guess what?!! It’s not what I ordered. No big surprise there! The guy who brought it out was fantastic and took it back right away and knew exactly what I ordered without me explaining, he knew the other guy put it in wrong.
It’s really dirty in there. Booths, windows, napkin dispensers, etc need a good cleaning. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. The doors, walls, everything…yuck.
Even though the pizza is the best, it’s definitely not the Pepz experience I remember.

Writing this review for Pepz Pizza is difficult because my experience was a mix of positives and negatives. The ambiance of the place was pleasant, but unfortunately, the staff seemed unfamiliar with their own menu.

We opted for the sampler platter, expecting each item to be presented separately. However, everything arrived in a foil tin, doused in butter and garlic, which was quite off-putting. The lack of clarity in presentation made the dining experience feel disjointed and somewhat unappetizing.

Additionally, the salad came with only one dressing option, despite its substantial size. To make matters worse, each additional side of dressing cost a hefty $75, and even ketchup came with an extra charge of 75 cents. This pricing strategy felt excessive and left a sour taste in our mouths.

While the soda machines were functional, the variety could be improved to enhance the overall dining experience.

In summary, our visit to Pepe's Pizza left much to be desired. Despite the nice atmosphere, the lack of menu knowledge among staff and disappointing presentation of dishes made it a less-than-satisfactory experience.

We were staying at Great Wolf Lodge but didn’t want to dine there. We found this pizza place, and the second we walked in we were greeted with smiles (even tho they were closing in 20 minutes.) They were happy to feed us and good grief the food was RIDICULOUS! The wings came out with a punch and gave our taste buds such a delight! Tangy. Perfectly seasoned. Just amazing. The antipasto salad was absolutely FILLED with toppings and it was so good my kids ate the majority of it.

The pizza we ordered was called “the meat” and it was a perfect name for a huge pizza FULL of all the meat! It was so delicious! And then a friendly stranger bought our kids a pazookie because they were well behaved. This place was 10/10. We love small pizza places like this and this one topped all our expectations! Thank you Pepz for a wonderful experience! If we lived closer we would frequent this place weekly for sure!

I don't recommend getting the subs here. I went in for pizza but the price was very high compared to other local places. I saw they had an option for a sub. Small or large. The large was $12 and so I ordered the Cali Sub. Well what a disappointment. You expect a real sub, not a sandwich. That's kinda a scam. The lettuce was yellow. The bread was soft but it didn't make up for the stale taste of the veggies. Take a look at the pictures and judge yourself.

This was delivery. I got a gluten free pizza and the crust wasn't cauliflower! It was good, but the person who took my order has no idea what it was. They put large chunks of chicken and pepperoni, onions and I got Alfredo sauce. Very good. I keep forgetting to take pictures.

Went in for lunch and had a great experience. Line wasnt too long when we got there and went by fast. Ordered the 2 slice combo with a salad and drink. The salad came out quick and was fresh. Not to long after that the pizza came out hot. The pizza was good and the customer service was great. Friendly atmosphere with regulars. Good place to hang out

I just wanted to thank the crew for all their hospitality. Celebrated my daughter’s 12th birthday and they really made it happen for us. Highly recommend Pepz Pizza !!!

This place used to be better. We stopped by to watch a soccer game and the place is filthy. The arcade area has a bunch of trash everywhere and the floor is sticky. Windows, table dividers, doors, and tables were dirty too. I had to ask for a cloth to clean my own table. My question really is, if I can see all this. How is everything else that I cant see? This place needs a deep clean.

Its News Eve and we decided we were going to stay in and enjoy the New Year in the living room. So, we decided to cancel crab legs and order pizza. We would cook the crab legs tomorrow. We order at 7:25 p.m. and submit the order for delivery to Pepz and they dont show up nor do they call. We wait for 1 hour and ten minutes before we call the operation to make sure there ok. Well, they closed early and didnt give us a heads up. This is down right disrespectful, rude, unprofessional, and frankly we will never go there again. Literally, we purchase from a lot and we are done done done!!!! Wise Guys Pizza is on point in Yorba Linda. Pepz is arrogant and prefers to not pay attention to its customers. Good Luck !!!

Laid-back, family-friendly atmosphere. Great pizza with extremely fresh dough. Amazing value on bucket of beers special on Sundays for football. Kid-friendliness: Cool arcade in the back corner with only 1 way in & 1 way out, making it very secure.

They have a great lunch special that me and my dad get a couple times a week. The employees are all friendly. Highly recommended. Oh and they also have a bunch of games for the kids. All around an awesome place with amazing pizza and salads. Parking: Loads of parking spots Kid-friendliness: They have tons of games for the kids. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access for someone in a wheelchair.

Good Italian eatery. The pizza and pasta are decent in my opinion but the calzones are great. Im also a big fan of their salads. The lunch specials are a good deal as they include a salad, entree, and a drink. They recently remodeled so everything is very nice and clean inside. The staff is also friendly. A lot of stuff is made to order so the wait can be a bit but its freshly made.

Fast service and good food. We had a party of seven which included 3 hungry kids. The food came out fast and fresh. Everyone was happy with the pizzas, wings and salad. We even tried the cauliflower crust pizza. The adults liked the flavor and crispiness. The kids wouldnt try it once they heard it was cauliflower, so dont tell them .

The pizzas and wings are amazing. So much better than the chain pizza places. They have tons of toppings and specialty pizzas to choose from and you can bet they wont skimp when they build it for you. A repeat for our family whenever were in the pizza and wings mood.

Pepz has unassumingly excellent food. The pizza, atmosphere are nice. Family friendly with a great beer selection. Im partial to the Hop Valley Bubble Stash, but, choose your own adventure. Definitely recommend!

Ordered a pizza for delivery. I live about 2 miles away. The pizza finally arrived 70 minutes later. It was luke warm at best. The guy on the phone said it would be 45 minutes.

Really good pizza and a decent selection of beers. Most of the beers on draft are IPAs nothing dark....wish the had some darker beers. Anyway, the place has good NFL coverage and the pizza!, whch is most important. John was very cool and made the visit good, thanks John!

Been there a couple times and have tried their gluten free pizza, its good enough to repeat. Service is usually fast and the couple times Ive been in the staff is cordial and helpful. They even had a delicious apple cider on draft. Watch out for the spicy bbq sauce. I didnt know they had 2 kinds a didnt request anything specific when I tried the bbq chicken pizza, wow! I like spicy but I was missing sweet. Fortunately I had brought it home so I made due with my condiments

A couple years ago we ordered from Pepz all the time. Then we wanted to try something new, so we switched to another pizza shop, and liked that one so much that we stopped ordering from Pepz. A few weekends ago we wanted pizza, but lately had been disappointed in the other place we had been using, so we decided to try Pepz again. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and garlic cheese sticks. Everything was lacking flavor and parts of our pizza crust were burnt. We usually finish all most all of the leftovers, but a few days later they were still sitting in our fridge so I tossed them. I know when my boyfriend doesnt take leftover pizza for lunch that there is a problem. The problem was the pizza and sticks sucked, so we will most likely not try them out again.

Absolutely disgusting. The staff was very unprofessional. They were tossing pizza toppings to each others mouths to catch, talking on the phone and complaining about the bosses. One girl of the staff went out chain smoked then came back in did not wash her hands and was handling food and was swearing in front of my 3 year old. Needless to say I will never recommend this place. The management needs to take control of the staff. Im surprised they havent been cited for a health hazard yet. .

I have yet to try a pizza here, but I have had the meatball sandwich many times and it is amazing. Worth every single penny.
