The managers/general managers of this place have gotten stingier over the years and it shows
What used to be a decent place to eat has turned to pure slop.
Look at these pictures and tell me this place gives a damn.
Half-off pizza on mondays . So they give you 80% more bread.
There is next to no sauce. They just dump a quarter cup of diced tomatoes on top.
Its one thing if this was a 10 dollar quick pizza
but this is normally 36$ dollars for BREAD with a sprinkle of cheese and barely any sauce or toppings.
Yes its the holidays; but this happened to us months ago too. We came back and it seems the problem has gotten even worse.
2025 we Will be not returning to bj's ever again and i encourage others to do the same; Anaheim hills needs a good food joint that respects its clientele and staff. The service was fine enough but this "food" is just not acceptable at the prices they are demanding. This is just pure greed on a plate. You wont get away with serving expensive slop to us forever.

You can’t go wrong with BJ’s, and you definitely can’t go wrong if you request “Guy“ as your server, he’s the best!

We had only gone there a time or two before he started recognizing us and he would always come to the table and say “welcome back” AND, he even remembered where we were sitting the last time we were there! He is such a great, very attentive, very friendly server.

This location has happy hour every day from 3 PM to 7 PM and then again at (I believe) 9 PM until closing. They also have many specials running all the time.

It’s located in a fairly busy shopping center and sometimes does get really crowded so have patience if you happen to be there during one of their busy times.

I will say though, even when they are busy I don’t feel that the wait times are out of control. We were seated, had an appetizer, dinner, and dessert and we were in there about an hour and 20 minutes.

There was about a 30 minute wait by the time we left and I think an hour and 20 minutes was great as far as timing.

I went with three stars for atmosphere because it’s always very loud in there. I try not to go in when I know the bar will be full due to multiple sporting events on their TV’s because then it is a little too loud for my liking. Doesn’t take away from the great food or the great service though!

I had a great experience at BJ's! The service was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. A big shout-out to the chef for preparing a fantastic meal! The menu had something for everyone, and the quality was consistently high. Definitely recommend BJ's for a tasty and enjoyable meal!

We usually enjoy our food/experience at BJ’s and was a little disappointed with our experience. We came in on Sunday with a large party of about 12. We were there during off peak hours. We arrived around 3:45 and were seated quickly. We didn’t leave until 6:30! I was surprised the food took so long when the restaurant was less than half full. I don’t mind waiting when the restaurant is packed but that was hardly the case here. The food was good. My mom and I shared the blackened salmon. It would have been nice if they split the food for us in the kitchen. I asked for a side of spaghetti instead of another side. I was brought a side of dry penne pasta. Then I had to ask for a side of spaghetti with red sauce which they did bring later. Carl had the large pretzel which was good. I liked the presentation and it came with a mustard and cheese sauce to dip the pretzel in. It was a little disappointing the meal dragged on for so long because it shortened our Sunday evening.

After coming here many times, I will have to admit that the overall quality of both the food and service have gone down substantially. I can no longer recommend this place to anyone. Service was very slow when the place was a quarter empty and we had to ask for clean plates and silverware, even after our food came out. Although there burgers are generally good, I would advise everyone to stay away from there sirloin.

We went with a large party as a reservation and were served in a timely fashion. Our server Austin was very attentive and quick! Our food came out around 30 minutes after we ordered, which is pretty quick for a large group on a Saturday night. Overall, we had a good experience at this restaurant and are looking forwards to coming back!

What a shame this place has come to. The only thing upholding their reputation is the customer service. We were walked to our dirty table with crumbs and french fries all over the bench. Then when we received our food, we get a singular SMALL piece of fish. The tortilla is 2x the size of the piece of fish. The beans look like they’ve been sitting out for a long time. Canned beans are 100% better than what they’re serving. For what you’re paying, you might as well buy the ingredients and make it at home. What a disappointing Friday night wasted on such horrible food. I will say again, the customer service was absolutely lovely. They truly hold the reputation of this restaurant.

Had a long week and had been looking forward to dimmer Friday. Placed order and took dog for walk. Gave them 90 minutes. Showed up and as i walked up to counter my phone rings. It's BJ's calling to tell me they ran out of ribs. That would have been great information 90 minutes prior. Now im hungry and tired and have no food. They are pathetic. 2024 tried coming back. Paid 81 for pizza. Got here and wanted to order garlic knots and a salad, that was another $60.32!!!!!!!!!! And waited 10 minutes to order it and 20 minutes for them to make it.

Happy to see the menu has changed to a much larger menu vs the "test kitchen" menu. Kind of sad to set the bbq ranch salad gone though. The service was okay, but I felt our server was spread too thin. Food was prepared perfectly, so that is a definite plus. Happy to see the Christmas gift card offer is still mostly intact, 2 glasses vs 4 which is to many really. Prices definitely higher, but that is everywhere.

Every time we vist BJ restaurant in Anaheim Hills for dine in or take out we get good service. Definitely recommend it. Today was a take out order and the server Luke by the way he's new to BJ family. He was friendly and did a good job, continue the good job!

The service was extremely slow. It took a long time to place our order and we had to wait for a quite while for our order. We tried to purchase a $100.00 gift card as we were leaving and it was impossible to get helped with it. They kept saying that it was someone else’s job. I guess they didn’t really want us to recommend them to anyone else.

The owner responded to my review. It is clear from the response that they didn’t understand that we could not find a manager or anyone else to help us. I rarely leave a bad review. I normally give the business the benefit of the doubt but the service was so poor that I wouldn’t recommend this location.

I really love BJ's Brewery. They have so much variety in food and drinks. Definitely recommend the pizza if you go but you can't go wrong with anything to eat there. They have a lot of good weekday deals and lunch specials if you are interested in that. This location is a little smaller then the one in Orange. Restaurant was very clean and currently easy to park in the shopping center.

Horrible online service!!!! 👎👎👎On a Friday I assumed it would be very busy so I tried to book a reservation but it was saying error after trying multiple times. So I called and a automated voice told me to put my name and party size down to save a spot for walk up and it said the approximate wait time was 20-30 mins which I called 30 mins in advance. Once I arrived they said we would be seated in 45 mins even though I had already put my name down. When I asked about the call they said they have no control over it. Which they lost my service and I took it next door: CAVA !!

Our servers name was GUY. He was legit! We had a decent group with 5 small children. Right away he brought goldfish and fruit to keep them happy. Guy was our server and was very polite, friendly and attentive. Weve never been to this BJ's before and we'd had a very long day and wanted to eat and get home. Our smokehouse burger and fries came quickly and the ambience in the restaurant was nice and relaxing. All the staff from the sweet hostess who gave us a quiet booth to Guy to everyone we encountered made us feel welcome. Our dinner was yummy too!

I’ve been to this location before and always had a great experience but decided my wife and I would try sitting on the bartop for some sports that were on that evening. Our bartender was Mitchell and he’s the reason we’re leaving this review. He was great! Super friendly, knowledgeable on the menu and great to talk sports with. I really was enjoying some of the BJs beers and he told us about the beer club membership which we ended up doing as well. Will definitely be back for my games and dinner on the bartop if Mitchell is working. Thanks!

Good service, food always takes forever to come out and it's hit or miss if it's hot or cold and prepped right or not.

Dining at BJ’s Friday afternoon was pleasant. Hannah was helpful with the menu, had a good sense of humor, and kind when I had expressed a small concern with the meal I selected. Thank you for the experience and we will be back.

Never come back here. Worst service. Lousy food. Order beer came after half hour. Besides book on line took longer wait to seat. After all we order Pizookie and we found out that it's taking long because they burn the Pizookie. No curtesy from server about giving it for free for long wait.

Great phone order and pickup with Yousefs at BJs. The Hickory Brisket Bacon Burgers are awesome. Everything, including the Pazookie, packaged well and ready to go.

We had a nice family dinner here on a Friday night. It was busy when we arrived but Eshida are waitress made us feel welcome. She was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back and request Eshida as our waitress.

I've been coming here for years. Service is good and food as well. Their rewards system has some great perks. Daily specials and happy hour is great. Shout out to Jacob the bartender. He has great awareness of what's going on at the bar, who needs what, etc. Can remember the small details (ie, glass of water).

We had a wonderful lunch at BJs today - our first server, Mitchell, was incredibly warm, helpful and informative. Food was awesome - and the bottomless fries were an added bonus!
Mitchell then finished his shift and we switched to Kellyn, who was equally amazing! The atmosphere was wonderful; the restaurant had a great vibe and the food was outstanding.
Highly recommended!

Sarah was such a wonderful server. She was so attentive and patient. Our party is loud and overwhelming sometimes and she was completely unbothered. Go to BJ’s, ask for Sarah. Thanks Sarah!!!

3 out of 4 food items came out wrong! Even after extensive conversation with the server requesting no sausage. One steak was undercooked and the steak was overcooked. Mgr was nice but didn’t change the fact that they wasted more of my time at the restaurant. Time is my most valuable asset. I would never come back here for a nice dinner with my family. It’s just a bar you go to for bar food not to spend a good dinner experience with your family. DISAPPOINTED AND DISSATISFIED
