Hollywood Lounge

This is a frequent stop for us to get drinks at. This has been the first time we’ve gone since their remodeling. The place has a new “vintage diner” type of feel. We mobile ordered our drinks from the app because their line was crazy long. When our drinks were ready for pick up. I noticed that they didn’t card us. Normally Disney is notorious for always requesting IDs when ordering any alcohol so I don’t know if this was a fluke or if they’re relaxing on their policies. Had the Cranberry Sangria from the Seasonal Alcoholic Beverages Menu. The first sip, did not taste good, but after mixing it, the drink grew on you. I ended up liking the drink and would get it again. I’d rate the drink a 3.5/5.

I only came to get the Halloween Worms Wart Potion Glow Cube, so I can’t comment on the quality of the drinks. It looked like I had to buy a drink to get the cube, but I didn’t want one and when I opened the app, it let me just order the cube. I immediately walked over, saw the line was long and waited for about 15mins. Before my order was called, I stood slightly to the side of the line and told another woman to go ahead of me, but her order wasn’t ready yet, then mine was, so she waved for me to go ahead. I guess the cast member didn’t see what happened, so she immediately snapped, “Excuse me! Did you push in front of her?” Surprised, I calmly said, “No, I was told…” then the woman interjected and explained what happened, but the cast member still looked angry. That’s when another cast member came over, asked for my number and quickly got my cube. She could see that I looked a bit startled by the other cast, and she nervously shook her head and thanked me. I was just happy to get my Worms Wort Potion!

When you’re at Disneyland, this place is the perfect go-to for a drink. Service is fast, friendly, everything you want. I love the Disney decorations of the Hollywood style and def love their uniforms. Napkins and straws available. Nearby seating. Koo’. Best micheladas.

I swear they are magic cocktails because they taste delicious and you can’t seem to have too many. They are quite expensive though but sometimes they come with a fun souvenir light up cube. We Always stop here for delicious cocktails during our trip to California adventure. If you visit this little corner of the park during different times of the year they will likely have different themes of drinks. All of them are premade I believe so you can’t really request your favorite brand of vodka.

I was trying to buy myself a beer. Being mexican my ID is my Visa but they asked for passport. It was frustrating because we don't travel with passport we always use a visa and never had problems with that before.
