Our family stopped by here on our way out from our last day at Disneyland. It was about a 45 minute wait. For my husband and friends it was their first time. We ordered the stuffed chicken and waffles and beignets. Even though my chicken was overcooked it was still very tasty. And the beignets were absolutely delicious! Our service was just ok ..I mean our server didnt bring us silverware..my husband ran out of coffee and water and the person running the food had no idea what he was doing. The only good part about this was that we did a walk-in and they said it would be a 10 minute wait and we got seated about a minute later. Downhill from there. Pro: - Huckleberry Mimosa was great and less than $7. - Next door to the JW Marriott so didnt have to eat there. Cons: - Food was not that great for the price. - Our server took a while to take our order and then basically vanished for the rest of the time. Someone else brought our food out to us. Someone else entirely cleared our plates as they passed by. Never got checked on our our drinks refilled. After 15 mins of waiting for our check, I ended up having to find someone at the front door to have it brought to us.

On our trip to Disneyland, this was the first place we stopped at to eat once we reached Anaheim and checked in. The restaurant was very empty up arrival kinda strange for mid day. So we got seated very fast the waiter gave us menus I didnt really see much that caught my eye. One thing did stand out to me was a chickens and waffle type of deal never had chicken and waffles so I decided to try it. When it came to the table it was a hot mess I didnt know where to start. They put some orange sauce all over the waffles mixed with the syrup and it didnt mix well I took a couple bites and I was done didnt want no parts of it. To much going on. The rest of my party ordered some potato hash looking crap that turned out horrible my youngest daughter ordered just pan cakes and my older daughter ordered home fries, eggs, bacon and her food was also nasty the potatoes were under cooked and the eggs were super runny. Bad experience never will I go back

Chaz was an amazing waiter and he made our experience fantastic beginning to end. It s so hard to find a monte cristo sandwich and Huckleberry s is doing it SO WELL. Craving it again already! Got recommended to have brunch here during our vacation stay in the area. Service was great at first until after we had ordered. They had completely forgotten a portion of our order, and our original server was nowhere to be found until it was time to pay. I then proceeded to pay in cash and then wait for almost 20 minutes for my change. ($100 on a ~$50 overall bill) I had to ask a completely different server who came back within 2 minutes. It wasnt as if the restaurant was busy, there was maybe 6-10 other tables occupied with a max of 30 tables. Overall disappointed, not sure if I would want to eat here again if Im back in the area.

It s just a cheap vanilla pudding that I definitely scraped off. The French toast also wasn t crispy or anything. The bayou hash browns on the side were good! They add bell peppers and onions to the top of your hash browns, always nice to eat some vegetables with breakfast and they were a very affordable side. We saw (and went into) Huckleberrys while in Pismo Beach for our baby moon a year and a half ago. Unfortunately, the wait on a Saturday around 11am was much longer than expected (an hour wait!) and as I was pregnant and hungry, we went elsewhere. But since then, Ive been wanting to go and try the food I missed out on. When alas, randomly, I found theres a Huckleberrys in Anaheim!! I was super excited to finally go. The theme and atmosphere is cute. Feels like a Rainforest cafe type vibe, but for Huckleberry Finn. The staff was all very friendly. And even though they started to get busy, our server was still pretty attentive. The food was pretty good. Im glad we finally went. The only disappointment was the beignets. They were not good in my opinion. And not really what I would call a beignet either. The pastries were huge and tough. More like a dried out cream puff. I have been to Disneyland multiple times and love their beignets and have also been to New Orleans, home of the absolutel best beignets, hands down. So these were definitely not the beignets Im used to. And being dried out, I barely even ate part of one. So that was a waste of money. Otherwise, my waffle, eggs, and bacon were good. Got the lemonade with vodka and it wasnt as sweet as I expected for lemonade, but still good. In all, Id come back again. Side note, since it is at the Garden Walk, you do have to walk a little ways to get to the restaurant. This wasnt a problem for us. But make sure to get parking validation before you leave. They give you one hour for free.

I should know better. Eating southern food outside the South is always a gamble. A place that really leans in on the Cajun/bayou theme should be able to do decent biscuits and well seasoned food, but this aint Copelands. Ingredients sound great on the menu but the seasoning is very mild and the biscuits are dry. I had Toms scramble which is biscuits and gravy with hash browns and eggs. Biscuits were pretty dry and they didnt provide enough gravy to compensate. All in all white people who dont like seasoning will probably love this place but if youre looking for a taste of home keep looking.

Their food has zero seasoning. I ordered a steak, no seasoning not even salt or pepper. The potatoes on the plate were only seasoned by the vegetables there but again no salt pepper or anything else. The eggs, I asked for a soft scramble, they came out with brown marks and were in fact overcooked and hard. The biscuit was soft to the touch not crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside like a good biscuit should be. No flavor on the biscuit, at least not buttermilk which is what I was expecting. I would not eat here ever again. The waiter must have known how bad the food was as he never even asked me what I thought about the food. My spouse had the waffle and chicken plate. The waffle did not have buttermilk either. One thing I will say about the waffle was that it was extremely airy and cut easily like it was made from a thin tempura batter but no real flavor to go on about and without butter syrup it would have been inedible. The chicken was dry and had zero flavor. They did not even brine the chicken which is why it was so dry. No salt or seasoning in the chicken batter either. I guess this was kinda like an expensive Lubys . It felt like a complete waste of money IMHO.

Great service and food. If you go, ask for Yuliana, best server there! Never had anything but great food and great service, one of my favorite spots, we drive 25 minutes each way the place is so good Kid-friendliness: Out of all the staff, which everyone is GREAT, we found we love to have Yuliana serve us.

Cute place, but be a restaurant. Food really needs a re-vamp. There was little to no seasoning or flavor. The omelet was bone dry. Red potatoes were chewy and undercooked I couldnt eat them.

Absolutely loved my experience at Huckleberry Breakfast & Lunch! The atmosphere was cozy, and the menu had a fantastic variety. I tried their signature breakfast dish, and it was delicious! The staff was friendly and provided excellent service. Cant wait to go back for more tasty bites. Highly recommend Huckleberry for a delightful breakfast or lunch spot!

Its not super authentic by any stretch, but service was fast, prices were okay, and food was tasty! Definitely had a Cajun theme, but was kinda like what happens when someone from California makes a cajun restaurant. Overall still really liked it, no shade here!

High rank in my book. Great service and great food. The only thing I would change if I had too will be the biegnets. Decent but not great I get what they were doing by being saved not making it too sweet but get in there and dont be modest with the sweet and fry the dough a little longer and we got a hitter.

Location is difficult to navigate, but once there we were seated quickly (on a busy Sunday) staff was friendly. Not the place to pick if you are actually from the south and expecting southern food. Biscuits are more like baking soda biscuits. They were unable to make espresso/hot drinks, so that was a bummer. Meal portions are fantastic- and options are plentiful. Likely would not visit again if in the area, but it was certainly not a bad experience.

Food was good, service was good, just disappointed to see they altered (doubled) the tip we gave on credit card. From a country that doesnt tip anyway we are uncomfortable with tipping, and this doesnt give us any confidence and breaches our trust. Disappointing.

Damaris was so awesome. She was such a great server and really went above and beyond. She even offered to go cups for extra coffee. She was very pleasant and really made our 1st expirience great. We are 1st timers and food was great and not pricey!!! Thank you! Well be back!!

Poor service, bad food. My 4 year old had a too much toasted slice of bread, so much so that it was black. They replaced it but I wasnt happy with the food at all. Went there for breakfast. Do not recommend at all
