Kimmie's Coffee Cup

First time here. Came on a weekday at 10am and it was packed! I got sat right away and got my coffee (which was delicious!) right away. But then waited about 15 minutes for my server to come back and take my order. But once she did, my breakfast arrived quickly. It was hot, fresh, delicious and packed with flavor!

I’ll define back but as a single diner, would probably sit at the counter for faster service. Yum!

I am a die hard Orange Circle Kimmie's diner, whenever my wife and I visit we always go to OCK, but this trip? We found this hidden gem.

No rush - seated right away - and drinks brought out within minutes. All around/before 10am.

We had the breakfast quesadilla and the breakfast burrito - both of which were massive! The quesadilla essentially was my wife's burrito just flattened. Left super full and had no complaints whatsoever.

I'm not sure what these negative reviews are about, but our experience was phenomenal. That's no bias for loving Kimmie's, it was just that good. The coffee was great too, and I drink it black with two sugars. Plain as can be - not a single issue.

I had the worst lunch ever today at Kimmie's in Anaheim Hills.
I ordered the roast beef sandwich, it comes on grilled parmesan sourdough bread. Sounds delicious, right? Wrong! I asked that it be lightly grilled and it was served very very greasy and on the burnt side. The server never came back once to ask about our food or even to refill our water glasses! Finally another server came over and asked how the meal was and I complained about how greasy it was. She did ask If I wanted another sandwich which I politely refused. Then she left the dirty dishes on the table until we left. Which I think is very poor customer service and just rude. The three of us were trying to have a nice visit with each other and had to look at dirty dished the entire time! I will not be going back!

Very poor experience. There were tons of flies in the restaurant. So much so, we had to leave shortly after receiving our meals. The food quality is also very poor. For a breakfast boutique type cafe, I would expect somewhat better than Denny’s.

My spouse and I aren’t easily offended, and the food has always made up for it, but our recent experience was the final straw. We arrived for breakfast around 11:30 and were seated by the hostess after a 15-minute wait. After another 15 minutes with no service, my spouse had to flag someone down just to get menus and place our drink order. The server, seemingly irritated by this, brought the menus, and another server—the same rude individual mentioned earlier—came over and curtly informed us she was running behind, as though our attempt to get service was out of line.

Despite waiting another 15 minutes, our order was never taken. Other tables, including one seated after us, were served before us. Frustrated, we decided to leave.

Thankfully, this led us to discover Late Da on Weir Canyon near Ralphs. The breakfast was fantastic, and the service was impeccable. It’s safe to say this will be our new go-to spot for weekend breakfasts.

This Kimmie's is nice & the servers were wonderful. And the bacon was the perfect crispy that I love. Check was a bit pricey for breakfast. With tip (which was well-deserved), breakfast was over $100.

Best breakfast place in Anaheim Hills. Great selection of food. But what really stands out here is the service. The servers are so nice and friendly, you feel like you're at home. We'll keep coming back.

Kimmie’s was an adorable place with lovely service! My fiancé and I split the huevos rancheros and the cinnamon roll French toast, and they were both to die for. Can’t wait to visit again!

One thing I can give you input on is the menus in the pictures of Kimmy's the prices are not the prices on the menus in the store. And when you're on a fixed income I'm glad I had a little extra money. But the food was awesome atmosphere so pleasant they run a wonderful restaurant.

I love kimi's! This is my go-to breakfast place. My family & friends love it. Everyone is very sweet & talks to you like they've known you for years. The food is ALWAYS amazingly yummy. The waffles 😍the omelettes😍everything is good. They have outdoor seating if you have a doggy or something. Now when they get busy yes, food does take a tad longer to arrive, usually they're short staffed, so just be patient with the ladies. The food has become a little pricey before the pandemic, but good is that way for all of us. 10/10 for me

Was there after church today. They seemed a little understaffed. We had to wait in a line for someone to come out and take names for the waitlist. Staff was cordial. I had the pattiy melt. The rye bread was good but the onions were undercooked and lacked flavor. The meat needed seasoning. The cook on the French fries was inconsistent. Their prices have gone way up and the food was not worth what we paid for it. Probably won't go back.

We had breakfast today at this property Anaheim hills. Unfortunately the kitchen was not hitting on all points. My pancakes were tasteless rubbery and different sizes. My eggs were undercooked and served with burnt bacon not a good day!

I had been there a month or so ago and really enjoyed the eggs Benedict. I took 3 friends and was disappointed because each of our eggs Benedict dishes were less than expected. The eggs were almost hard boiled and the sauce was thick for 3 different plates. Different cook? I don't know. I just know the service was pretty good, but the waitress never asked if we were ok with our food. My guests and I were very involved in catching up, but we should have sent back those plates, especially for the price!

We decided to try this place because of all the good things we'd heard about it. Big mistake, busy Sunday rush was understandable, but our serve was horrible. There were at least 3 waitresses, one took our drink order and then a few minutes later another asked if we had drinks coming, an agreeable start, looked like the waitresses covered all tables so we get orders or refills reasonably quickly, or so I thought. After being served our drinks we waited half an hour for our orders to be taken as we watched others seated before us order and get their food and the waitresses flitter about ignoring our excuse mes so we could let them know thay were were ready to order. We we never offered refills for any of our drinks and we were quickly handed our check instead of asking if we needed anything else. Needless to say we will not be back.

Unfortunately, the service was not good and they weren't very busy at the time either so I'm not sure what the problem was exactly. The food was very disappointing as well. We just moved to the area and had much higher hopes for this restaurant because it's in a good location & close to us. Hopefully, they can make some improvements as we would give this place a second chance.

Very cute hideaway to eat the perfect breakfast. I will say I wish there were two people working there to tend to the guest more so. It was my first time there and wanted to feel a little more welcomed. However, the food made up for it. I will definitely will be back.

I'm genuinely confused as to how this place has 4.5 stars. Yelp has more accurate reviews with 3 stars. Service was good, but the food is terrible. I'm not sure why it's so bad but it is. Everyone at our table agreed. It was my 2nd time here. I tried to like it but I can't :/

Been going to Kimmie's for 20 years, used to go to the one in Fullerton a couple tunes a week. Now that I live in the IE not so much but it's well worth the drive to get a good breakfast.

The worst experience. My wife and I came here for breakfast. After 30 minutes no one came to get our order. We had to let them know and finally, someone got our order. Everyone who came after us eats their food, and we are still waiting for our order. We had to let them know that we have been waiting for our food for a long time, no one even said sorry. Finally, they brought food, and it was burned. I am not sure what the problem is here, but we were the only none white people, and they ignored us. Interestingly, they didn't make any apology and brought our bill at the middle of our food.

I love this place. I was staying at a hotel across the street, and really wanted to eat breakfast or lunch at a diner. They are only open for breakfast and lunch, but they serve both all day till 2:00 p.m. They offer many different items for breakfast & lunch, and all four items at our group had were amazing. The portions we're lunch and then expected, too.

Found Kimmies when i “googled” breakfast near me on our way to Phoenix. Definitely a wonderful find. Breakfast was fantastic & service so friendly & excellent. Portion size was large. We bought the scramblers, two types of French toast & the typical breakfast with the biscuits & gravy. Yummy!!!

The food here is great! The decor was lovely and the staff was very friendly. They greeted us as soon as we walked in. I ordered the eggs Benedict and it was delicious! I think maybe the hollandaise sauce was made in house. Overall a very pleasant visit.

This place was on orangethrop in Yorba Linda and an overpass
took their business away(about a year ago). My partner and l were furious. The center has several stores and Pavillions Mkt., about 400 feet there is a small alcove and it has about 5 local shops and low and beholds there is the super restaurant which serves Breakfast and Lunch only. I promise you will not be sorry. It will be on your must return list A bit pricey yet it's worth every penny. Go ASAP.

We came care for my mother-in-law's birthday breakfast. was very cute until we waited for 15 minutes to be sat and then sat at our table for 15 more while no one came to offer us any service. we finally had to get up and leave because we had other things to do during the day. Really sad we had this experience as I heard so much positive about this place.

Great brunch spot and they now serve champagne, beer, and wine unlike a few years ago. Large portions. Good coffee. friendly and attentive staff who are eager to take your order or fill your coffee cup. Busy on weekends but quick service.

Extremely disappointed with the service...we were 6 ladies celebrating birthday and none of us left happy. First we asked for hot water and it wasnt hot enough and when we asked to change, the waitress got so annoyed and started arguement about it and we had to convince her but just to take our cups back to kitchen and microwave them (with attitude)!!! It took forever to come and get the order.Constantly getting annoyed by anything we asked for. I’ve never posted any reviews for anywhere else but really wanted to come and share mine and my friends feelings about this restaurant. I’m pretty sure I would never go back to this place👎👎👎

Plenty of indoor, outdoor seating for all. Lots of breakfast and lunch choices makes it difficult to exclude everything else. Evidently this is a small chain restaurant. Happy, helpful, chirpy waitresses will perk up any customer with their infectious energy. A bit hidden which makes this an ideal place to sit and take an extra long meal. Fruit on the side was a bit juice logged and soggy. Egg whites omelette makes for a very healthy choice. Or, as they spell it at Kimmie"s: Omelet.
