Stumbled over this place while driving. I’ve never tired a mochi donut but the matcha churro mochi was not as sweet as I expected which was lovely. I also got the milk tea with boba. Not too sweet and I really enjoyed the tapioca boba. 10/10

If you wanna try some new, try this new style mochi donuts. So yummy. Unfortunately, they don’t open everyday. It’s better call to check before going.

First time trying and OMG! “Donuts” are delicious!! Fun twist on an old classic! Super tasty, flavors for everyone! And their breakfast burritos are good and filling!! I’ll try to coffee next time! Awesome treat!
We tried the coffee, caramel, strawberry, orange, and cookies in cream 🍩🤯🫠

Been to this Mochinut location several times now and it has not disappointed me since! The exterior and interior are very well-designed and have a welcoming atmosphere. The food has always been on point whenever I order at lunch and the Korean corn dogs are pretty good. Highly recommend giving this location a try if you are a fan of Mochinut!

Great place! The place is clean, staff is nice, deco is cute and pretty. Mochinuts are chewy and soft with plenty flavors. Boba milk tea is a bit sweet though, but overall a great place for sweets

Been here a few times and each time was a great experience. My family and I tried various items on the menu like the breakfast burrito, katsu wrap, breakfast bowls, various drinks with boba and various mochi nuts. Havent been disappointed yet. Always felt welcomed when walked in.

First time trying Mochinut, and I was impressed by the taste of their donuts. Donuts are soft/chewy and the taste is delicious you'll definitely eat more than one.

I'll definitely be back to taste their corn dogs and boba drinks.

The person working today to me that the donuts were dairy free so I got a few for my son. He can’t have any dairy products otherwise it will make him sick. When we got home, he immediately ate a donut and corn dog. He started to feel sick before he even finished. When I went to the website, it clearly states that there is wheat and milk in the donuts. I spent $10 in just donuts to make my son sick.

This specific location sells food as well such as teriyaki chicken for one of the dishes. Do Not recommend, the chicken was super dry almost felt fake & they put barely any teriyaki sauce so it was very plain but it was only about $7 so that should have raised a flag. The rice was even very dry. The Donuts I’ve had better at other locations

I got 6 mochinuts, and they all tasted super stale. I lived in Hawaii and know what mochi donuts should taste like. It's not worth the price I paid at all.

I've been here multiple times and overall this place is pretty good. I parsley feel that their Korean corn dogs taste a lot better than their Mochi donuts. I wish that the Mochi Donuts were more fresh. I had them when they were tasting a bit old and I've also had them when they taste fresh. It's hit or miss. I wish it was more consistent. The Korean corn dogs are great. We love to get them with the sugar.

Have been a regular since they were under new ownership. Liechen is very sweet and welcoming. The staff are very attentive to the atmosphere and make sure it’s clean at all times. My favorite item on the menu is the hot Cheeto corn dog. I’ve had it at other places but they don’t compare to this locations. By far the best mochinut in OC

AMAZING!!! The service is the absolute best, the employees are very welcoming and give great suggestions. This is the only mochinut I come to due to the cleanliness, other locations are alright. Would definitely recommend.

I love mochi donuts so I am happy that there is one close by now. For people new to mochi donuts, they are made out of
rice flour, are chewy and soft, and are less sweet than donuts made of wheat flour. I don’t like wheat donuts. I love mochi donuts!!

Wonderful and great place! I enjoyed the shakes and the boba. We also got our free doughnut for our order! Great place and would definitely come back to try the great corn dogs.

Restaurant chain specializing in mochi donuts, boba, milk teas, and Korean-style hot dogs filled with cheese. Looks like they recently changed their operating hours, are open earlier, and now offer breakfast options too.

They're located in a shopping plaza on the corner of La Palma and Imperial Hwy, next to Jersey Mike's Subs and True Seasons Organic Kitchen.

Came here as I love mochi donuts but these donuts were pricey, lacked flavor, and lacked the chewy, mochi texture! Their website lists a bunch of flavors but the store only makes a handful of flavors each day. Disappointed 😞

Would go back for a second try if they weren't so pricey.

Fresh and cute donuts. Suggest you eat it on the same day to feel the chewyness of the mochi dough. They have a variety of flavor that they rotate. Sesame, ube, and plain were my favorite. Self order kios is on the left side when you enter the store. They also offer a variety of drinks in a cute can like containers, but i find their donuts are better tasting than their drinks.

Ordered a Milk tea with boba and a Black Sesame Mochi Donut. The tea had a unique fruity flavor which really sets it different from other places. The donut was nice and fluffy and somehow seemed freshly made even though I was there late. A nice dessert after my dinner.

The place is very popular, even though they have strange hours for a donut shop (11am to 9pm). The donuts are great, but the price is ridiculous. Three dollars for one donut made up of little balls cooked in a circle and covered with different toppings. The hot dogs, however, are wonderful and freeze well. Reheat in a toaster oven (on fairly low so the hot do heats up) without defrosting and the coating stays nice and crisp. And they're priced right - about $5 or $6 dollars.

Interior nice and modern. We're excited to get our food. But...taste of OLD OVERBURDEN OIL was horrible and harmful for health. Sorry for review but owner should know about it.

They forgot my drink I don’t know why it was a simple order a matcha and corn dog, I got home , when I called they put me on hold aka they kept taking orders back to back and didn’t ask what I was calling about, waited and called again they refused to pick up. I called 20 times.

Last time I came I asked for extra hot Cheeto dust on my mozzarella dog and not only did they not put a lot but not even half the dog was covered… guy in back can’t even make it right …
Now I just came at 830 and asked for 2 corndogs and they told me they stop making everything at 830 …. I’m so confused then why do you guys close at 9pm you should close at 830 ( very nice girl working infront ) but I don’t think manager and guy in the back are doing there jobs right

Amazing place! The donuts are delicious, and so are the corndogs. The owners are super kind. We just had an event and hired them to provide all the donuts. It was a large order, but they were on time, the donuts were a huge success, and we're delighted with their service.

Was in the are and the corn dogs happened to catch my eye and I was curious. When I walked in the staff was super friendly and helpful which was pleasantly surprising. I got the potato mozzarella corn dog and the black sesame churro mochi donut. The donut was pretty good but the corn dog, which I was super excited for, was just okay. I think it could have used more seasoning as its pretty plain on its own, I had to douse it in spicy mayo. It was a pretty okay experience overall but I don’t think I’ll ever go back. It’s way too overpriced for decent food that’s more a fad than anything else.

Love this place!!! I first went to the Mochinut in Cerritos and it was great, so I was so excited for one to open closer to me. It is such a cute little shop with delicious chewy donuts and fresh boba drinks.

Last time I went here, I accidentally dropped my corn dog :( but they remade it for me free of charge!! So thankful for this place

I mostly liked the corn dogs. I've tried this kind of corn dog before at another place in Oceanside and they were humongous. These are a good size; about the size of a regular corn dog. The flaming hot Cheetos dusted one is the best I've tried so far. 10/10 would recommend.

The mochinuts are good, but not $3 good. These are really pricey. But they are soft and flavorful if you don't mind the price. Maybe a luxurious special occasion treat.

I've only tried one boba drink here and it was the ube. It was delicious and they didn't rip me off with an over abundance of ice. Definitely want to try the other drinks. It also comes in this plastic soda can if you like that novelty.

Just came for a well deserved drink after a bike ride on the Santa Ana river. Got the ube with boba and peach black tea boba with very little syrup. It was perfect !

Phil (Philip) was working here today and he MADE my experience!!!! Not only is this place delicious, but Phil was an awesome help, friendly, and a pleasure to have help me! He was HUSTLING as there were a few customers in front of me and he did everything with a huge smile. Definitely will be back and hoping I deal with Phil again :)

I held back from writing a review until I’ve visited this place at least a few times. Now that I’ve been to it five times over the past three weeks, I think I have a pretty clear idea about this place.

Service - it’s a hit or miss. I’ve experienced both super friendly to rather tepid service.

Donuts - whatever the glaze is, the flavor is lacking and I can taste old oil. I’m guessing they reuse oil for too long. I’ve been to other locations but this was a first.

Corn dogs - tried a few different ones and they were all pretty good.

Boba - probably the best flavors among local boba shops. Really packed with flavor and always hits the spot.

Atmosphere - pretty laid back but they do blast explicit songs even when little kids are in the store.

Overall, I will be visiting again for corn dogs and boba.

I have been to multiple Mochinut location and the corn dogs are always great as well as there drink but I can not say the same about this location. I’m not a Karen but look at the picture of how my corn dog was made. I even had to ask if it was the right one because it looked nothing like the other corn dogs I’ve purchased at other locations. The drink was also poorly prepared that I had to ask for more sweetness and was given attitude by the employee working she even told me that I don’t know what tea tastes like even though I have bought drinks like this one at there other locations. Overall it was very disappointing.

Cute little shop that can get pretty busy at night. The donuts and boba are good, but unfortunately the corndogs were a bit of a let down. Super crispy and delicious on the outside but the hotdogs inside were super salty and tasted bad.
