I still can not fathom how a high-end steak house has trouble cooking steaks to order. I ordered my steak medium-well as I always do, and they fell short again. My steak litterly had blood juices on the plate, which is the 1st sign its not the proper temp. I used to LOVE MORTONS. This is my 3rd visit in 1 year, and they just seem to have trouble meeting the expectations on cooking my food to order. Service was great, and the atmosphere was AMAZING. I recommend the Mac and Cheese and crusted mash potatoes 100%, and the salted carmel cheese cake was perfection, as my mom would say... Its too die for... I hope to continue visiting. Please use a temperature gage for the medium-well steaks to perfection.

I go to Morton s Steakhouse 2 to 3 times a year. Mainly for our birthdays and anniversaries. When I book my reservation I always ask for Chris A. He has been with Morton s for over 10 years. He absolutely makes our dining experience top notch. The recommendations to our drinks, appetizers, meals, and desserts. Giving us recommendations on what spread pairs well with what we eat. Never disappointed with all his recommendations. I look forward to seeing him annually. He makes us feel like VIP each and every single time I go with my family. We normally order the bone in prime rib eye steak, filet mignon, chef s crab cake selection, asparagus, king crab mash potatoes, scallop wrapped with bacon, and the chocolate lace cake. Food is amazing and cook to perfection I ll give it a Chef s kiss

Unfortunately, the food was not good. I ordered 11 items at 6:40 scheduled for pick up at 8:15. When I arrived the food was not finished until 9:48. The smoked gouda & bacon au gratin potatoes smelled so strong of spoiled food that has gone bad, it became hard to take a bite out of it. The lamb chops was supposed to be medium well, but was burnt. After eating part of the food I decide ultimately, to throw that out as well. The food also didnt seem to look like the pictures on their website. They gave me conchiglie shells for the maccoroni instead of cavatappi. I didnt want to tip until I received and tasted my food; since this was the first time I ate at this location. Unfortunately, on their website there was No option to Not Tip, so I tipped $54.09 which was 18% which was the cheapest option. I belive tipping should be when the service is exceptional which it Wasnt! And tipping should Not be made mandatory. Especially since it took a total of 3 hours to prepare food that didnt taste good to the point that I had to throw away most of it. There really shouldnt be Any tipping for a take out order. Seriously, what was I tipping for? Im not being served, and the food took over 3 hours and most of the food smelled like it was going to get me sick. If possible I would like a refund for my tip, since I ordered pick up, and I didnt dine there, and the food quality was not that good. The host, and staff however seemed friendly, and they apologized multiple times for the lateness of the food. Even though it was the kitchens fault. If you are staying in the hilton, I would recommend eating in their restaurant instead.

Overall this was a great outing for our family for celebrating our first home purchase. The lighting is a little dark for my taste, and the me being a little bigger size make dont fit in their booths so make sure if you over 200 ask for a normal table. Main course takes time so I wont rush take, but 30 minutes for bread and drinks is extremely slow in my opinion.

Good place and reliable steak as always. I was, however, very disappointed with the service. Our pram was not allowed in the restaurant, which is weird for an Anaheim/near Disneyland location. No water was offered upon sitting down on a hot summer s day, and took 20 minutes and two queries to get any service. I was ready to walk out! I was quite embarrassed as I recommended another family to join us there after Disneyland, following my good experience eating at this chain in other locations. Such a shame. Could have been very good, especially since we spend so much money there.

Outstanding food, service from Luis, and atmosphere. We celebrated our anniversary and we went all out. We had oysters seriously one of the best ever, we shared the chopped salad, loaded potato and steak and lobster. They comped the dessert which was a cross between a cheesecake and creme brulee. This place is a winner. We typically go to Capitol Grill for a great steak.. no more its Mortons now.

Morton s is one of my favorites but this Morton s left more to be desired. We came to LA for a visit and decided to go the Morton s across the street. When my family and I arrived, we didn t have reservations. I informed the host and he gave me an annoyed look and said it be a while to be seated. He didn t really seem too interested in helping us and proceeded to help other customers while we just stood there. It wasn t until finished with another family did I grab his attention and mentioned I was a Landry s select member. His demeanor change. He sat us down in less that 10 minutes. It was just very frustrating that I had to say that in order to be treated properly. Once we sat down, our waiter was attentive and overall friendly. The waiter definitely made the experience so much better and overall it was a pleasant experience. The food tasted good except my steak was slightly charred for being medium. Overall I recommend Morton s as in past I ve enjoyed their service at other locations in the Bay Area.

A very nice place to dine. The food was good, meat cooked perfect, but the side appetizer potatoes were a bit undercooked and meat was a bit salty. You would expect a bit more from an expensive establishment. However, the atmosphere and servers were nice and they were informational as it was my partner and I first time dining there. Everything was well until the bill came and we left a cash tip. Later on, we were charged $20 extra dollars that did not appear anywhere on our bill. All fees and charges were left on the receipt and paid for, so why charge and extra fee without giving any notice to the customer? When we called, they claimed it was a surcharge but I do not know what surcharge would be over 10% after paying upfront

I recently hosted a large dinner event (Room 2) with a presentation for work and was very disappointed with the service. After 30 minutes into the presenter s speech, no one had come to take orders or serve bread. At the 40-minute mark, I approached a different server to inform them of the situation. Following this, the servers began taking our orders. An hour passed, the presentation concluded, and my guests were inquiring about the status of their food. I went to check with our server and asked, Do you have an ETA for the food so I can update my guests? The server responded defensively, saying, Like I said when I was there, it s almost out. 1. He never made such an announcement. 2. This response did not help me, as my guests were expecting updates from me, the host, and the main course was still not served well after the presentation. 3. The server s tone was demeaning and rude, and I believe asking for an ETA to update my guests is a very reasonable request. At the end of the dinner, I spoke to the server privately to express my dissatisfaction with his response. He claimed that the dinner course was supposed to be a two-hour process, which was not communicated to me beforehand. The primary purpose of the event was for guests to enjoy their meal while listening to the presentation. However, the main course was not served until after the presentation had concluded. This delay caused such inconvenience that all my guests opted to take their desserts home, which also took an excessively long time to arrange. I will not be using this venue again for future events due to this experience.

Not all what I expected for high-end place. Just packed in. The light was out above us, took a while for manager to bring out some fake candles and then tried to sell us on a romantic feel.. I was with my mother in law.. nothing romantic about that. The dry aged new York was well cooked but lacked salt. Everything was well cooked, just lacked salt. I was amazed at how perfectly cooked the scallops were. Service by our waiter was amazing. In all 4 stars cause the atmosphere felt more like a busy Outback Steakhouse than a Mortons.

We ate dinner at this Mortons two weeks ago and the entire experience was underwhelming. The food was...fine, but for a restaurant that bills itself as Mortons does, we expected higher quality: we had, among other things, a filet mignon and a dry-aged strip and both were chewy and not tender. The sides - snap peas, creamed corn, etc. were also fine, if not particularly noteworthy. For what its worth, the onion rings were excellent. The real concern was the service. Weve been to various other steakhouses that are at a similar level as Mortons and one thing that makes these experiences stand out is the quality of the waitstaff: the better experiences come from waitstaff who are engaged, helpful, and knowledgeable. Our waiter was not that. There were no questions as to why we were there or if we were celebrating anything. There was no advice on the menu. There were no recommendations or questions as to our preferences. There were few check-ins, and really no questions about whether we liked our food. The waiter was not alone. When our steaks were served, two people in our party got the dry-aged strip with different levels of doneness and as soon as the server practically dropped them on the table, the two of us looked at each other and just knew the steaks were switched. And they were. And that was emblematic of the night. We arrived early for drinks and in talking with the bartender, we learned that this Mortons primarily does business with conventions. That felt appropriate: this feels like a restaurant this is to some degree not planning on people coming back and so isnt working to create the kind of experiences these restaurants normally aim to provide. We may try Mortons again, but not this one.

The cleanliness of the establishment added to its upscale ambiance. The servers were not only excellent but also incredibly attentive, ensuring that every aspect of our dining experience was top-notch. And the food? Simply phenomenal. Each dish surpassed the last in flavor and presentation, making it nearly impossible to choose a favorite. Whether it was a perfectly cooked steak or a crafted cocktail, everything was exceptional. If youre looking for a classy and romantic dining experience where every detail is impeccable, this steakhouse is the place to be.

Mortons is a solid fine dining restaurant. If you are looking for a good steak then this is a good option in the Anaheim area. There are a lot of competition restaurants within a 2-mile radius but overall this is still a good option. Our meet was cooked perfectly, and are sides were delicious. Please note that the potatoes au gratin are very cheesy. Thick cheesy. So if you like a very bold cheese flavor then definitely pick this. I ordered their French onion soup and in my opinion was not the best out there but it was still delicious. Their Caesar salad is a very generous portion for one person but in my personal opinion not quite big enough for two people to share. Vegetarian options: Not vegetarian friendly. Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly due to the fact that they have no childrens items or plastic cups for kids (which is fine but being right next door to Disneyland, maybe consider adding something on the menu or even buying a small pack of plastic cups for younger children so they do not break stuff).

Food Poisoning caused my daughter to become violently I ll after 5 hours and remained very sick Sunday and Monday was unable to work. She is an RN. I picked Morton s after years of Morton s Chicago when I was an executive that traveled to Chicago. I raved about the rib eye and my daughter, son in law and myself ordered the rib eyes. I only ate a quarter of my steak as it was very rare not medium rare as we had all 3 ordered. I received a text from my daughter at 2:42am advising she had food poisoning and our plans for that day had to be cancelled. I called the restaurant Sunday and spoke with Robert and explained everything he seemed generally concerned and said he would speak with upper management and call me back. I told him they could call me Monday as I knew it would be busy as it was Sunday night in Anaheim. No call back. It was very disappointing. I called Monday night and the man who answered said Robert didn t come in until until 6pm but was sure he would call me. I also noticed on the bill I am attaching a picture of, that my rib eye was $68 but both of theirs $74 which is odd because after I ordered my daughter ordered next Saying I ll have the same , rib eye and loaded baked potato. My son in law said make that 3 rib eyes but he had truffle fries. We their 2 ribeyes different from mine and why was that when we ordered the same. This ruined our trip to Anaheim to celebrate our Birthdays and then not even a return phone call. Very bad customer service for a Morton s Restaurant, and very disappointing. Carmen Fraser

My husband and I come here at least once a year (anniversary). Its by far the best experience for us. Weve gone to similar restaurants, and the food, especially, does not compare to Mortons. I occasionally try something new, but my favorite item on the menu is the miso marinated sea bass. Its served over bok choy, and it tastes like heaven for me. My palate is more chicken/fish. My husbands palate is centered towards steak. He recently tried the wagyu filet with black truffle butter and, to sum up his comments, said, Im never going back to regular filet. Sides are large portions, so be ready to share (or not, you do you). This time around, we had the sour cream mashed potatoes and szechuan green beans (sweet and spicy, but delicious). Shout out to our amazing server, Ethan, with all his great recommendations, knowledge, and attention to detail. It was our first time coming before 8; we arrived a few minutes after our scheduled 4 p.m. reservation. This will probably be our new norm because aside from the two other parties that arrived after us, we had the whole room to ourselves. If youre thinking about somewhere youd like to splurge, we spent around $260, including a 20% tip, this is your place. Parking: Remember to validate parking if youre not getting a valet. Weve always parked at the hotel parking directly adjacent to the restaurant. Kid-friendliness: Ive never brought my kids here, so unfortunately, I cant speak to kid friendly too much. I have, however, noticed that theres no open change table. I dont know if its available in the accessible stall, as some are. Theres no bench either, in case theres no change table and youve had to use the bench (like me). Children are the most vulnerable demographic, itd be nice to see some changes made towards this at a pricey restaurant such as this. Wheelchair accessibility: Theres a ramp up to the restaurant and a push-button for the door. Theres at least 20 in of space between tables for accessibility.

On the way to the restaurant, I started looking on the website menu, so I could know what to order, when the waiter came to the table, I ordered my food and he said they didnt have what I asked for on the restaurant menu, but it was on the website, after then I called the Manager over to the table and asked him for certain Items I saw on the website and he said they havent had that in a year, and he was going to make sure the website was updated, The waiter took the orders and we had to keep looking for him for water, tea, and soda to be refill. After dinner he came with the bill, never asked if we wanted dessert, so my husband told him the decorations in on this table and its a birthday celebration he said oh, what do you want for dessert, the manager never came back to the table, to see how are food was are anything. Last Friday, I made reservations to treat my wife for her birthday. We ordered two steaks, cajun ribeye for my wife and filet for myself with two bacon wrapped scallops. The server convinced us to get a side of butter and garlic for the steaks. He told us it wasnt on the menu, but highly recommended. Therefore we did. As the food came, out my wifes steak was not medium rare (well done). We told the server and all he did was said I am sorry. I also told him the scallops were fishy smelling and they were not warm. He again said, sorry. There was no remedy to fix our food. As we received the bill of $262.00 with tip, $300 (yikes), I noticed the corking fee was $35.00 and the highly recommended butter and garlic for each steak was $7.00 each (really?). I felt that I bought a new car with lots of up-sales. Not a way to keep customers coming back. We will not return. Ambience was amazing, but the food lack luster.

Allow me to recount an extraordinary dining experience at Morton s steakhouse where exceptional service and exquisite cuisine came together to create unforgettable memories. Although we were not dressed to impress, we felt welcomed and appreciated. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that we were in for a treat. The service was nothing short of exemplary, with every member of the staff going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. As for the food, it was truly a feast for the senses. Each dish was prepared to perfection, showcasing the skill and expertise of the culinary team. From succulent salmon to decadent sides, every bite was a delight. Of course, the cocktails were exceptional. A special shoutout is owed to the manager, whose attentive care made our evening truly special. Their dedication to ensuring that our daughter s cheerleading competition was a memorable experience did not go unnoticed, and we are incredibly grateful for their hospitality.

I recently celebrated my friends 30th birthday here and all (3) of us appreciated the little touches that Mortons did to make the evening a bit more special; the menu with the custom birthday header, the reasonable sprinkle of confetti on the table, the complimentary dessert and kind waitress; we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. While I am not sure Ill be in Anaheim soon, I just may have to check out the Mortons in Scottsdale, AZ next. P.S: I heartily recommend the Onion Rings - Very tasty.

Title: Mixed Experience at Mortons Steakhouse: Delicious Food, Disappointing Pricing and Atmosphere My recent visit to Mortons Steakhouse left me with mixed feelings. While I thoroughly enjoyed the food, I couldnt help but feel disappointed by the exorbitant prices and noisy atmosphere. Lets start with the positive: the food. The steaks at Mortons were undeniably delicious, cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. Each bite was a testament to the skill of the chefs in the kitchen. However, my enjoyment was overshadowed by the shockingly high prices for every little add-on. I couldnt believe they charged extra for something as basic as butter on my steak. It felt like every item on the menu came with a hefty price tag, leaving me feeling somewhat nickel-and-dimed throughout the meal. Adding to my disappointment was the noisy atmosphere. Despite being in a decent area, the restaurant was incredibly loud, making it difficult to hold a conversation without shouting. It seemed like the proximity to Disneyland attracted a rowdy crowd, which detracted from the overall dining experience. What truly left a sour taste in my mouth was the lack of discounts, especially for military personnel. As someone who has served, I was disheartened to find that Mortons offered no recognition or appreciation for those who have served our country. Its disappointing to see a lack of support for our military community. Comparing Mortons to Madera in Los Alamitos, the differences are stark. Madera offers a quieter, more intimate atmosphere with live music, allowing for a more relaxed dining experience. The quality of the food at Madera surpassed that of Mortons, and the pricing was much more reasonable. Plus, the fact that Madera offers a military discount only adds to its appeal. In conclusion, while Mortons Steakhouse delivers on taste, its overpriced menu, noisy atmosphere, and lack of discounts leave much to be desired. For those seeking a superior dining experience with better value, I would recommend giving Madera a try.

Why the 4-star rating? I would expect a little more organization at a restaurant like this on a holiday. It started bad but they recovered. Overall a positive experience but it isnt appropriate to be unaware of the expensive specials, especially when the guest ordered them ahead of time! Good food, nicely presented, overall attentive service. Alls well that ends well.

I have been to the Anaheim Mortons several times. My other experiences there were wonderful. Last night (1/2/24), however, was a huge disappointment. I took my sister out for her birthday and had been looking forward to this. Tammy was our server. Initially, everything was fine. She brought our drinks, told us the off menu selections and the specials. 20 minutes later she finally came back to take our order. I asked for the wine list, she never brought it. We had to flag her down to ask for another drink. She came across as bothered by us. I watched as she spent quite a bit of time with two other tables, checking on them often. Clearly, the other customers at the other tables were more important. The bread seemed like it was made a day or so ago. I ordered the 8 oz fillet, medium plus. It was well done plus. It was so overcooked and dry. The brussel sprouts were overcooked, borderline mushy. The mashed potatoes, however, were delicious. Our bill with tip (I didnt even tip 15%) was just over $300. Three hundred dollars for mediocre service and over cooked food. I saved extra money to take my sister out and it was wasted.

NOT RECOMMENDED. I fully agree with other people. First We waited for 75 minutes for our order. Then the food was not good quality and then they overcharged us. We ordered 2 Ceaser salads which was $14 each and we asked them to add chicken on top of it which most of the restaurants will charge $5-7 extra but they charged us $34 each two times. The waitress never bothered telling us about this high extra charge for the chicken topping on a salad. When asked during payment she said they added full Chicken Christopher item (which was much larger and different item ordered by another person on our table) on each of the salad which was clearly not the case. It was only 4-5 rubbery overcooked grilled chicken strips on top of Ceaser salad. So our $14 Ceaser salad cost us $48 with few extra chicken. What a scam and rip-off! Shame on the management and their waitress for ripping off people like this. WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN

We used to go to the Arnie Mortons in downtown and had a fantastic experience. The service and quality matched the price point and we were looking forward to getting the same quality for a take-out dinner. We ordered the Prime Center-Cut Ribeye with a side of scallops. The scallops were excellent. The steak was disastrously disappointing. They were cooked to the requested doneness but the quality of the steak was definitely NOT prime. It was closer to USDA choice and was very chewy despite being at a medium-rare. One of the steaks was not even properly seared, with only one side having grill/char marks. To top it off, the steaks didnt come with the Au Jus sauce as noted in the menu, so we couldnt even drown the poor quality in sauce. It instead came with some kind of citrusy jelly sauce which we didnt even want to try. The price paid for these steaks was ridiculous given the quality. They were not prime cuts. Next time go with Lawrys. Heck, even your local small/chain steakhouse would give you a more satisfying experience. Arnie Mortons Anaheim is a complete rip off and borderline scam. We felt cheated by our experience and we went out the next day to buy ourselves an actual Prime grade rib-eye roast to cook at home to make up for a depressing steak dinner. Dont waste your time or money.

Horrible experience. When ordering server suggested special outside of menu fillet with a lb of lobster for 125. We opted for the special and a dry age ribeye. The ribeye came out cold and dry even though the color is right. We informed server he asked for me to cut the center and he went get the manager. Manager took the steak back and reheat it then brought same pieces back with a thin slice missing. This is a first for me. Not sure if he put it back on grill or how he heated it up. At this point, we didnt want to trouble the server or manager as long its not cold. Then.... Check came and was charged 125+125 250 for steak and lobster. I asked the server before placing order how much was the steak lobster special and he said 125 its great value, so i didnt think its charged separately for 125+125 each. Okay we didnt say anything and paid. Upon leaving the parking lot, the validation ticket says it been used! What a way to end the night.

Being next to Disneyland I don t understand how you only have 4 high chairs for the entire restaurant. We made a reservation and were unable to be sat at our time. The manager at the front desk provided no alternative or solution to the matter. He had the host tell us we had to wait close to an hour because of the high chairs being used. No apologies or anything. We went to Flemings afterwards and were sat immediately WITH a high chair. We prefer Flemings as it is but now will not be returning to rude and unorganized Morton s.

Its a good steakhouse. Nothing pretentious. Decent atmosphere. Friendly staff. Steak was good and cooked well. French onion soup had a great flavor and the onion bread they bring out was great. Got 3 of the sauces. Truffle butter and Bernaise were my favorite. Cognac one was ok. Usually love a cognac sauce but it just wasnt great for me. The scalloped potatoes were delicious. Was nice to see Brussels spouts on the menu. They were also good. Cocktails were good. Its expensive. Its a steakhouse. But the food was good. Would definitely go back Parking: Its valet parking for $8 Kid-friendliness: There were several tables with kids there for a steakhouse.

Disappointing time at Mortons. Server kept apologizing for bad service. Long waits for things - including a glass for a beer that was served, silverware, etc. Food was overly salty. The food was great. I had the crab cake, wedge salad and truffle fries. The service was slow, it was very busy, so to be expected. The server did a great job getting to us as quickly as she could. *Food poisoning warning* 10/08/23 I hate leaving a bad review, especially since our overall experience at dinner was so great. But my husband unfortunately got food poisoning. Within a couple hours of leaving last night he had all the icky symptoms and is very sick. We are super bummed, we wanted a very rare for us nice night out. We spent $200 on our dinner. We were supposed to be at Disneyland today, so now we are having to waste those tickets because hes so sick. Funnily enough, we debated just staying in last night and ordering a pizza, we definitely should have done that. Now Im just hoping we can make our flight home tomorrow. My husband ate the lobster mac and cheese and the crab cakes. I had a steak salad and mashed potatoes and Im fine. Be careful if you eat any seafood options at Mortons.
