The food was nothing spectacular, we chose to go here for the entertainment that came with the food. My son enjoyed watching the pretzel grow and shrink above him when we were ordering the food and also enjoyed the show he was able to catch outside in the seating area. We got the Not So Little Chicken Sandwich, Humongous Taco Salad, Pepper Particle Pasta & Bite-Sized Grilled Cheese. The chicken sandwich was dry as the cutlet was super thin & over cooked, The taco salad had a very flimsy outer shell which made it very flaky & hard to use as a scoop for the toppings. The pasta was not bad but you can really taste the pepper in it and the grilled cheese had no issues with my son. Not a bad spot for the entertainment but would not recommend over other options

This is a quick stop food option in California Adventure Park. I didnt have to wait long for my food, and the place was interesting to look around. The food, however, was just ok. I got the grilled cheese with pesto. It wasnt nearly as flavorful as I was hoping, and the tomatoes were hard and not ripe at all.

In general, my experience was positive. The restaurant has an interesting and entertaining theme, where the food portions are either unusually large or small. The bar offers a diverse selection of beverages. However, the food quality was somewhat disappointing. I ordered the Pepper Particle Pasta, which was initially enjoyable but became excessively oily and caused stomach discomfort. The Humongous Taco Salad was substantial in size, but the salad lacked flavor, and the protein and shell were bland. The Impossible Spoonful was satisfactory, featuring a basil marinara sauce flavor. The meatball was adequate but not exceptional. Vegetarian options: They offer impossible meatball Wheelchair accessibility: There is wheelchair access, but only a few tables have enough space to accommodate a wheelchair.

Assembly line prep. Same with the service. Everything is expensive. The checkout staff was very nice. None of the food was hot. My grilled cheese was cold. I think the taco salad was supposed to be cold. In any event. It was spicy. If you like large portions and dont care if your food is hot. Youll be ok here.

A few interesting foods like the giant candy bar and Giant taco. The X-periment (Patrón Silver Tequila, with Mango and Habanero Syrups, and Mango Flavor-filled Boba) gives off a lava lamp vibe with the popping boba but has a nice balance between the hot pepper syrup and mango boba. Mobile order makes this a great reload point for quick drinks and food in between rides.

You see it zapped right in front of your eyes! Plenty of food and drink options. I ve been here for breakfast and lunch and have loved all of it. Too many options to specifically point out but always good food and drinks from all various selections. Such a cute restaurant. When you walk in you watch tiny pretzels turning into giant pretzels. I always enjoy watching it while waiting for our food! We got the humongous taco salad which was full of flavor, the avocado really just brought it all together. It had a nice lime zing to it and all in all was amazing. We also got the not so little chicken sandwich. The chicken was juicy, cooked perfectly. The breading was nice, not too thick and it had a thing layer of sauce which had a sweetness to it. The chicken was definitely A LOT, but thats the point of it. Finally we got the quantum pretzel which I loved. My only critique is the pretzel to cheese ratio. I had about half the pretzel left but it was out of cheese. Im not sure if you can order a second thing of cheese or not, if you can I would strongly suggest it.

Seating is at a premium here, but its Disneyland. Theres not much of a place to sit at the restaurant, so you will need to venture outside and find yourself a seat. Food was actually not bad at all, considered it was almost a fast food joint and the volume they had to serve. I had the Humoungous Taco and it was delicious, just what I needed. Just be careful of the people taking your order. They seem to try charging more when youre not looking I ordered a medium drink and he charged me for a large drink. When I questioned it, he just laughed it off and blamed it on a long day, but didnt try to rectify it..

Don t skip this place. Best food and cocktails in the parks. The giant pretzel is huge; consider ordering extra cheese sauce for it. The kids meals are different but innovative; if you have a meatball loving kid the impossible meatballs pass muster when say, the impossible bao in docking bay 7 does not. The two beer cocktails on the menu are don t miss items; as well as the espresso martini. Mobile order if you can bc the line is usually long. Chicken sandwich is top tier, as is the taco salad. Seriously best meal we ate during a 7-day trip. Kid-friendliness: Fun and different kids meals that our picky kids loved.

*This is a review for Pym Tasting Lab, which doesn t have a Google page. If youre a fan of Ant-Man, or in need of an adult beverage in Disney California Adventure, check out Pym Tasting Lab! With ongoing classics and seasonal changes, theres something for everyone - not just cocktails and beer, but theres a mocktail and mini pretzels and spicy cheese sauce on the menu too! They are located next to Pym Test Kitchen and diagonally across from Guardians of the Galaxy, in the Avengers Campus. I recommend mobile ordering so you dont have to wait in line to order, and can bypass the line when ready. Staff is very friendly and once your number is ready, so is your drink! For ambiance: this is an open bar that follows the lab aesthetic that Pym Test Kitchen follows, and all of their seating is shared. Adults can grab a drink while their kids enjoy a meal. I tried the newish Blue Hawaiian ($18.00) - triple sec, pineapple, toasted coconut, pineapple juice with edible glitter. 8/10 It is not too sweet. If you like tasting your alcohol and you enjoy a mildly tropical flavor of pineapple and coconut, this is for you! I enjoyed it but would be excited to try something else on the menu. Honey Buzz is one Ive tried before that I would have again. I am a fan of beer but not of the beer cocktails. All in all a convenient location to try a themed drink! Dietary restrictions: Vegan / vegetarian / gluten free drinks

They are interesting and delicious for sure but not worth almost $20 for one drink. They also have other beers here too, love the mango cart beer. The drinks come in little beakers which is cute for the theme. Overall it is a good place to get some local brews and some unique cocktails but be prepared for those Disney drink prices.

This was a fun experience!!! Ill start by saying the atmosphere was thrilling with detail. The order counter had little details everywhere. Obviously, the biggest being the conveyer-belt machine that shrinks and blows up the food above your head was so cool! The Castmembers inside were polite and happy! We mobile ordered, which is easy and simple on the Disneyland app. Once our time came up that we chose ahead of time, we hit the IM HERE button, and our food was prepared in 5 minutes. You can order your food as early as park opening and choose your time then if you prepare your day schedule in advance. It was VERY VERY VERY BUSY!!! the seating area can not hold the volume of people that its serving. We lucked out and found a table in half shade that was still dirty but grabbed it without complaint. There was a sign that said additional seating was around the corner at the Hyperion Theater. It isnt very far, just passed the Guardians ride a bit, but if you are carrying a bunch of meals and kids and strollers, its near impossible. We both order the NOT SO LITTLE CHICKEN SANDWICH ($15.49 each). Its a slider bun with a HUGE piece of flattened fried chicken breast and slaw. There is an option on the app for extra slaw for 2.79, which my partner did because he is extra saucy. It came with a side of potato barrels (tots) and I added a side of Beer Cheese ($1.39) to dip into. The meal was awesome! I folk and knifed it until I ate fully around the bun and then ate the rest like a sandwich. He also got the banana smoothie (6.29), which he said was ok... I got the Proton Punch (6.99), which is sugary, bubbly, and refreshing. It had buba balls in it, too. DO NOT SKIP DESSERT!!! and its perfect to share as its huge! We still had some leftover from 2 men sharing. Celestial-Sized Candy Bar (8.49): Oreo cookie on the bottom, milkyway middle and snickers top and covered in chocolate! It was very long and doesnt seem like a lot but it was dense and very sweet/rich. They have cast members there clearing tables and wiping them down, but we are always helpful by condensing and bringing them our tray ourselves. I would recommend it, and we will be back here!

We started our Pym Test Kitchen experience with breakfast. This seemed like the only place with a meal for breakfast instead of something grab and go so we chose it. As we were ordering we asked the cashier if there were nuts in the French toast since we have a severe nut allergy in the party. She handed us an allergy menu that did not have the French toast on it and continued with if you want to hold the whole line up and ask the chef then go ahead. Very disappointed to be treated like that due to a food allergy by a Disney employee. The food came out and luckily there were no nuts on the French toast. The eggs were gross and not able to be modified even with an egg sensitivity. Our party ended up eating tater tots, bacon, and focaccia for breakfast we ended up getting another meal after at Flos in Radiator Springs. We decided to go back later to get another cold brew because that was truly amazing and the only redeeming quality of this restaurant. We also ordered a pretzel with it and did mobile order. Unfortunately we had to make an unexpected bathroom stop and missed our window. I ve only done this one other time and was told it was completely ok and was given my order once I arrived at a different location. When I got to Pyms however I explained what happened and the woman behind the counter huffed at me. Slammed the pretzel on to the tray went and complained to another employee while making the coffee. She did not say a word to me the whole time when the coffee was done she slid the tray to me and moved on. She didn t give us the mustard that is supposed to come with it only the cheese. The pretzel was pretty good, the beer cheese was not great I ve had better. Overall would not come back here. The staff is highly unpleasant and for it to be multiple people is enough to make me uncomfortable and not want to go back. The food is also not worth it for what you pay. $80 on breakfast and we were still hungry. Pass up this one and have breakfast before you get in to DCA.

The food was good (not so little chicken sandwich and pretzel) and plenty, so it was filling. In the order line, theres a quantum machine overhead thats turning regular pretzels into giant or tiny pretzels, which is cool for about 30 seconds - the time it takes to zap 2-3 pretzels. Then it becomes REALLY annoying while youre trying to talk to your party or the staff. Its not quiet at all and its so frequent that it quickly loses its charm, even in a short line.

You re in the Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure and you ve just seen Ant-Man stride by. It s lunchtime, too, so there s only one real option after that encounter: Pym Test Kitchen. Sure, it s pure novelty and the food is being produced on an industrial scale (the Not So Little Chicken, which a very not so little price, and the Pym-ini were in our hands in a quantum second, which was a little disconcerting). The chicken was better than what you might get on the plane. It was made better by the slaw, for sure. My wife said her sandwich was fine (if you re a married man, you know just how violently loaded the word fine can be ). They have Coke Freestyle machines which made for sweet relief with Coke Zero. Not so little chicken: Get! Thoroughly surprised by this. The chicken was nicely crispy. The sauce added such a bright twist to what could have been a dry piece of chicken. The tater tots were seasoned well and very fluffy. Beer Mimosa: Get Never thought about this combo but a pale ale with OJ was great. It cuts the bitterness of the beer and adds a nice refreshing twist to it. Although, now theres less beer and still very expensive, its a fun combo that represents this restaurant very well. The courtyard area is nicely shaded with lots and lots of tables big and small. You should be able to find seating even during the busy times but it does get pretty packed. The theming in this quick service restaurant at California Adventure is really cute. Waiting in line for counter service you will see a conveyor belt of pretzels on the ceiling being turning in to jumbo or teeny tiny sized snacks. This kept the kids entertained for sure. The food was just ok. My daughter got the kids PB&J which she didn t really care for- her favorite thing was the yogurt with boba on top. The chicken sandwich (small bun with big chicken patty) was very hard. The chicken was tough to chew. Anyways, if you get a seat outside you can catch glimpses of the avengers shows which is cool. Seating is limited during busy times so be prepared to have people hover over your table waiting for you to finish.

The features inside were fun and staff were polite and efficient. The food did not deliver. My friend got the Pym-ini Sandwich and the portions were laughably tiny and the flavors were mediocre. I got the Not So Little Chicken Sandwich and the buns were tiny so the thin fried chicken cutlet in the middle looked big. The buns were also stale/dried out from being heated too much. The tater tots were fine. The Flying Embers(hard kombucha) was fine. Probably would not eat here again. Would maybe try some drinks in the bar area.

A clever concept and execution but the food, other than the novelty sizes, is pretty bland for Disneyland Resort. My breakfast was exactly what you would get at most value resorts in Florida.

One of the best meals we have had in the park. We had so much fun and to have the ant man movies tie into the food was a treat in itself. We had the giant pretzel, the boba drink that was a science experiment and the chicken fried steak sandwich which was huge but on a super small bun. So you have to experience this place, I would go again next time we are in the park. Kid-friendliness: My daughter was excited to try a few things on the menu and the line experience was really cool.

Long line for weird food. It wasnt bad food, just weird food. I get the gag, its cute, and the food is okay. I will say that despite Impossible Brands being proudly displayed on the marquee, there is only one item on the menu that uses their products. I am disappointed too that apparently the Pingo Doce guarana soda... isnt actually guarana soda, which IS a thing that exists. Instead, its apparently some cockamamie combination of Sprite, Mountain Dew, and vanilla. I guess I can see how that might sort of resemble the taste of guarana soda, but.... why not just get actual guarana soda? Vegetarian options: Impossible(tm) meatballs in the Impossible Spoonful

In this trip we focused on attractions, so to save time we went for quick service while taking breaks between rides, stopped by here while on Avengers Campus. Shared the Atomic Pretzel (Salmon Poke Pretzel). The taste was pretty good. However, I had imagined that it would be marinated raw salmon since the dish name is poke but it was more like smoked salmon. It was a bit too salty on a salty pretzel, though it might have been better if I had had a drink with it. Interesting decor with the Ant-Man/Hank Pym theme. Service was fast and courteous. Overall Id say its a fun place. Next time, I want to try one of their specialty drinks.

We didnt have anything to eat this time - I just wanted to swing by to get the new Milky Fizz drink in the cute sipper. I wasnt to sure about the Milky Fizz after reading the description - a desert pear flavored soda water with cream. Well you know what?! It was real tasty! And thats coming from someone who doesnt drink soda. The combination of the soda water and cream really complimented each other - kind of like how orange and cream go together in a 50/50 bar! I would definitely order that again! I had really wanted to order one of their Quantum Pretzels, which are so delish and it would have gone well with my drink, but we were planning to have dinner at Disneyland, so I passed on the pretzel. But Im definitely getting one next time were there!

No alterations (removing ONE topping), even due to allergies. Was told immediately We dont do alterations. Youll have to ask the chef. No other restaurant weve eaten at, even at Disney, has ever had that rule. If I have to talk to the chef to ask them not to place tomatoes on my salad so I dont die, I dont even trust them to do it, especially when the cast member is rude about it. My partner was luckily able to eat here, but the sandwhich (pymini) was VERY bland

The food here is a little bit better than most of the other places in the parks. We had the chicken sandwich and it was on point! Crunchy and flavorful. They have the coke freestyle pop fountain here so you can customize your beverages to your liking. My only complaint is seating is limited. You will need to literally stalk a table before you get your food, otherwise you can expect to wait or find a random place to crash and eat on a bench or something. Also, not enough umbrellas. They could have just extended the awning /roof over the seating but they did not. Tables are cleared promptly by the staff and wiped clean.

Pyms was a bit of a disappointment. The food was only okay and while the idea has lots of potential the fun was taken out of it by the very irritating loud sound effects and the irritable cast members (Id be irritated too if I had to listen to those awful shrinking and enlarging noises for hours!) I dont even know if there is indoor seating here, we were so desperate to get away from the noises we fled outdoors! The outdoor seating does provide a good place for character spotting; try to sit close to the walkways, away from the restaurant and you might get treated to dinner and a show!

Our breakfast here was ok. Nothing spectacular, but the food was decent and interesting. The tiny eggs are super cute. Its really a novelty breakfast, I wouldnt expect 5 star dining. The Pym toast was more like bread pudding than a french toast. As others have mentioned in their reviews, our food was also cold by the time we got it. There was plenty of seating when we went around 9am. The line inside to order was also short. The pretzel conveyor belt running across the front of the line to order that turns the regular size pretzels into giant pretzels is cute and my younger one thought it was pretty cool. The ambience while eating was nice. Avengers music playing. My youngest loved the drink with the pipette, he thought it was really cool. For me the best thing I got from there was the Butter Pecan Cold Brew, its probably seasonal. It was great!

Seating can be hard to find right next to the restaurant, but theres a great auxiliary seating area if you walk a bit further down the block (labeled for Pym Test Kitchen). Note that the pricing is a bit high, although it is similar to everywhere else in California Adventure.

Food tasted bad. Ordered the not so little chicken sandwich which was supposedly popular and the chicken was overfried and tough. Ordered proton punch too and meatballs. Meatball pasta tasted bland and the overpriced proton punch is just ordinary. Very expensive but portion and food quality not justified. Seats are scarce too so if you come alone its better to take away your food. Queue is also very long and so if you are very hungry better to dash off to another place.

Tried three different items from Pyms Test Kitchen. 1. Kids PB&J Lab: There are unfortunately a couple major issues with this dish. First, due to the nature of the kitchen, the sizes are disproportionate. While fun in most dishes, it is an issue for this meal in particular. A large dish of peanut butter and jelly is provided with only three mini pieces of bread. The bread is gone LONG before the spread. Second, the peanut butter is bitter. The part that works well is the yogurt with the popping boba (both fun and tasty). 2. Impossible Spoonful: Delicious and tastes like meat! However, the portion is too small for the price. 3. Quantum Pretzel: Great dish! Not the best beer cheese I have had, but it was tasty and the pretzel was great. Dont bother with the stale Mickey pretzels in the park, buy this and split it with friends.
