Mom's Deli, Anaheim

Mom's Deli is close to my work and I visit here in spurts. Sometimes once a week, then once a month, back to once a week. The inside is clean and wholesome kitchen feeling, with pleasant background music. No fountain drinks at the moment, just bottled/canned beverages and water.

Most of their sandwiches are quite good, featuring a nice selection of breads from rolls to sliced bread and squaw. Their paninis are tasty too. I've also had their breakfast sandwich with bacon which is spot on for the morning. Bacon can be overdone at times, but provides a nice crunch to get your morning started.

My favorite sandwich is their large meatball on french roll; good sauce, plenty of meatballs and TONS of cheese. Great comfort sandwich.

Today I tried their AC chicken salad (apple and cranberry) on squaw and I might have a new favorite!! Delicious, crisp, and refreshing. Definitely be returning soon for this one.

Sorry Mom! BLTs are my jam, my favorite sandwich 🥪! Never have I ever been served a BLT with crumbled bacon and shreds of lettuce. Didn't bite into whole slices of tomato. It wasn't an off-menu request. It was on the menu. If I'd had time during lunch, I would've come back after one bite. That was a fail. I've heard your smoothies ate amazing. Perhaps I'll stick to that.

Small mom and pop shops. Everything I tried so far was good and made fresh. I recommend the combo bowl or Philly steak.

I went in on 10/12 and got a house salad and smoothie. 1.5 hrs later I had extreme abdominal pain diarrhea nausea vomiting headache body aches. Went to urgent care, I got food poisoning. All I had earlier in the day was grapes and popcorn so yes it was the salad or smoothie or both.

I had to try a few items before writing a review and I'm glad I waited. All its fresh, delicious and they are very generous with their portions. The Club Panini is getting to be my favorite but I have to keep trying the rest of the menu which is pretty robust. I have worked on the area for many years now and never came to this place, I was certainly missing out. Enjoy!

I'm a big muscle man with a big appetite. Had a tuna salad sandwich with extra tuna on large white bread with some potatochips and a soda can. Hits the spot! Inside is very clean! Definitely want to be a regular here

The restaurant was clean, but the Philadelphia Cheesesteak was bad. The meat was tough and full of grissle, the cook dropped a piece of cold cheese on top of the meat which never melted. They had a fairly large menu: I might go back and try something else ones last time.

If you are in the area this place serves great food. Very nice and welcoming service. Sandwich & subs are really delicious! You can sit down eat and relax. Great pick up spot for lunch. Enjoy....😋

Super solid food for the price! Can't beat a $6 teriyaki bowl. Also, the owners changed a while back, so completely new restaurant.

I loved the Cobb salad 🥗 super yummy with very fresh ingredients like the lettuce was very crisp and juicy with the bacon and egg and avocado was amazing. Also try the Philly cheesesteak sandwich 👌

Since getting a job in the area I have eaten here several times. The produce is fresh, the meat is amazing, the bread is extra soft. And the best part is it's extremely affordable and hardly ever a wait.

I received a menu at my office and thought I'd give it a try since it was so close, even though I read all the negative reviews on Yelp... That was a mistake.

Ordered the Grilled Chicken Salad with Italian dressing. It maybe had 2 oz of chicken, on top of what seemed to be your cheap bag of mixed salad (iceberg, cabbage, carrots) from the store. The dressing tasted like cheap store brand Italian also.

On the front counter was a sign that you get a free side with purchase of a salad or sandwich, dine-in only. I went up and asked about it after I received my salad. She fist said that I got it and she was the one that brought me my meal... I told her that I did not. Then she said that she didn't think that salads were included. I pointed at the sign. Then she asked if I wanted potato or macaroni salad. I got the macaroni salad.

The macaroni salad was the worst thing I have ever tasted. There might have been chemicals in it. I spit it up immediately.
