Went here a couple of weeks ago and it was a rainy Sunday. The temps in the Cafe were chilly too so bring a sweater.

Service was stellar and the sandwiches were so tasty! (mind you I have been at the dang Huntington Library Tea quite often this year and their sandwiches have been abysmal) in fact I liked all the sandwiches so much I couldn't say which was my least favorite... the Cucumber was so crisp with bread so soft, roast beef was served on a nice homemade croissant and the chicken salad had a balance of salad to crunchy vegetables ratio.

The desserts were ok and the scones were fine, we had to ask a couple of times for more jam they were busy when we were there. Also we got some desserts (cupcakes) to go too.

Parking can be tricky for some reason this is a very busy strip mall... factor this in when arriving on time.

Edit: I had to come back to edit my already 5-star review to add that Sally did an AMAZING job with our wedding cake! She took the time to consult with us about our vision and made sure to deliver what we wanted! The cake was beautiful, and our guests couldn't stop talking about how good it tasted. I've already had several people ask me where we got the cake from!

I love this place and the people here. We came for their first afternoon tea today, and it was as cute as you think it is. The food and pastries were tasty, and the homemade cream and jelly were wonderful. I also enjoyed the seasonal strawberry shortcake tea and the mango peach herbal tea. Sally and everyone else here are so warm and welcoming. The only thing I would change is that one of our teas was room temperature when it reached our table, but keep in mind this was their first event, and I enjoyed the experience overall. I can't wait to come back to try what they have to offer for their afternoon tea in the next few months!

I had the most wonderful experience at Sip and Sugar during their festive holiday tea! Every detail was thoughtfully crafted, from the adorable pastel decor to the dreamy ambiance—it felt like stepping into a fairytale. The tea was absolutely delectable, and every treat was bursting with flavor. The service was impeccable, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. Everything tasted so good and yummy that I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Cake! Cake!! Cake!!!
Do I have to say more!! I really love this place. Been following them ever since I have watched them from food network Winner cake all. I’m so obsessed with this place.

The owner Sally, is so down to earth. She befriended me once I walked through her doors. She treated me like family right away.

Anything that Sally does is perfection!! From smash cakes, cake pops, cake bars, cupcakes, Rice Krispies, to cookies, to pies….is so delicious. Omg! I completely forgot about her cinnamon rolls. It’s wayyy better then Cinnabon… off the menu…go there on a Saturday and tell her you want a cinnamon roll with strawberry crumble….you well not regret it!! Don’t forget she can make custom cakes and can create anything you can come up with.

It’s been awhile but came in for my first time Winter tea experience. Had to do it big with “A Sugar Plum winTEA wonderland.” Such a very cute concept.

Parking: plenty of parking and free. I love free parking.

Decor: so cute and felt I was being transported to a Christmas Wonderland. Love the pink ornaments and pink Christmas tress. Nutcracker pillows. Just very beautiful. This place doesn’t disappoint.

Entertainment: a very beautiful talented singer. She sang all of the classics Christmas songs.

Afternoon tea: I had the vanilla caramel, berry essence, and my son had the strawberry milk

Afternoon sandwiches, scones, and desserts: everything was amazing. Well what more can you say….i didn’t bring any back home. Just disappeared. The attention to detail is flawless.

Staff: very nice. Always ready to give us hot water for our teas

Since there was no food to bring back, I had to bring some cinnamon rolls for my husband. Hahaha

My overall experience was so amazing. Thank you to the staff. Can’t wait for the next event.

I ordered a birthday cake for my husband’s birthday and it came out perfect and delicious. Exactly what I asked for. Chocolate cake with chocolate mousse with a cigar and whiskey theme. She made the fedora to match my invitation exactly. Loved that she put an actual glass on the cake to put whiskey in. After we sang happy birthday he drank the whiskey from the glass on the cake!

I have gotten 3 cakes here over the course of a few years, and each cake was delicious. I love the buttercream filling it's not too sweet. My dad loved his 75th birthday cake. The owner is very professional and welcoming. I will definitely continue to get my cakes from here.

Perfection. Cake for bridal shower was chocolate with oreo filling. Vegan mini cupcakes in lemon and coconut. Everyone loved both. We have also ordered chocolate vegan cupcakes for multiple birthdays and they are always a hit.

I love it here! Not only is it aesthetically pleasing, but I ve done so many events with their cakes, pastries, and treats, and I will continue supporting them! The coffee is also amazing. Their goodies are so delicious and so well done. The owners are great!

This place is amazing! I 100% recommend going here. They were able to customize my daughters cake in just a few days, they were incredibly kind and they went above and beyond to make the cake special for us. The cake also tasted amazing, we were very happy.

Cakes are delicious . Needed a quick last minute cake for a birthday. As they were closeing .Store stayed open 5 extra minutes for me . Great costumer service . Definitely my go to place for gluten free cake and cherry pie

I found this bakery by accident, but it was the best accident that I could have ever hoped for!! I needed a birthday cake for a special party, and I took a chance on The Gateaux Shoppe. Sally, helped me decided on the type and style of my cake, and it turned out perfect! She told me that my guests would love it, and they did. In fact, they couldnt stop talking about it, even into the next day! I choose the Snickerdoodle cake with cream cheese icing filling. YUMMY! I ordered a cake for my daughter s baby shower. The cake was beautifully decorated, but I was disappointed with the cake filling. I ordered a white cake with a fresh strawberry filling. There were hardly any strawberries in the cake. For the price I paid for this cake I would have expected a better filling.

The customer service here is amazing! Sally and her family are always working hard to accommodate every customer! They always do the very best they can to provide excellent service! Lets not forget about there scrumptious desserts! The cake I ordered was funfetti cake (my favorite) with raspberry filling!!! I will NEVER go to any other bakery again. I nearly feel off of my seat of how delicious and flavorful this cake was! Ohh and there turkey-cheese croissants!You will need to try it out for yourself, they will not disappoint.

Stopped in today because the cookie shop next door was closed and I needed to pick up some sweets. I bought a cake bite, brownie and a chocolate chip croissant. The croissant was good but the other two items were stale. Waste of money. Ended up throwing them both away. Won t be coming in again.

WOW! My son and I were frantically searching for a last minute plain cheesecake (which wasn t frozen) and some chocolate covered strawberries for my mothers birthday. After trying several places & not liking what I found, I did some research and stumbled upon Sally s shop... talk about my lucky day! She had ONE small fresh baked cheesecake and was able to make me some chocolate covered strawberries and have them ready in 20 minutes!! Not only does she have amazing prices, she and her staff are professional and friendly with outstanding customer service. I will one hundred percent continue shopping here! Thank you Sally & team!!

I love this bakery!! The shop has a cute and chic atmosphere, and amazing staff. All their desserts are delicious; my favorites are their trippe berry and cookie butter cake bar!! I have ordered several custom cakes, and I am always satisfied with taste and presentation. Saturday they have Cinnamon rolls. Which my family is obsessed with!!

I stopped by randomly today and I was blown away by the garlic butter croissant. It was decadent and one of the best things I have ever tasted to be honest. I will be coming back real soon! This place is a gem.

Very disappointed. We ordered a Gluten free White cake with Strawberries and Bavarian cream. The cake was decorated beautiful. However the cake was so dry and I dont know where the Bavarian cream and Strawberries were. All you could taste was a overly sweet frosting. I have made Gluten free cakes especially the King Arthur brand mix and it is so moist. I would of baked my own Birthday cake if I would of known what a disappointment this was. And dont expect a refund for something that isnt right. We paid $30.00 for a 4in cake and were not even able to enjoy.

The desserts are amazing, every cake Ive gotten from here is always moist and delicious. Plus the staff is friendly and very helpful! The Velvet Cake Bar is hands down my favorite.

I ve went here like 3 times already and will continue to go here. Customer services is on point, shop is very well taken care of & it s very welcoming! The cookie butter cake bars are my go to & if you like one of their cake bars they also offer them in a big glass cup that can serve 2-3 people. 10/10 shop, staff, product, cleanliness.
