Wasn't too happy about the service. The lady at the front door had the best customer service. Our food took a little to long to get to me. We asked for a refill and took over 10 min to bring us a refill. Asked for to go boxes...she never brought them the lady up front did. Food was good. But it was basic. Portions were huge. All in all we were happy

Went for Sunday brunch. There was no wait but you can join the waitlist online, which I love! The portions were bigger than I expected. Service was friendly and quick. We got some slices of pie to go and they were delicious. Definitely recommend for a good family spot.

Since my wife and I moved to Apple Valley in 2020, now 2025. Corky's has delivered quality food and service every time. My go to is single bacon cheese burger no lettuce and steak fries or cottage cheese.

The patty is cooked with a good flavor and the buns...oh boy....the buns are slightly toasted....

Take a bite and really taste the it....different in every way....

Not bad. 1st time eating at Corkys.
Lots of specials on food. Table service was fantastic. Pumpkin Pancakes were incredible. Coffee was good. Definitely prefer this place over Dennys or IHOP.
Brought a banana cream pie and chocolate pie home for the family.

I love Crokys! I’ve been coming here for the past 3 years (I moved up here from down the hill) all there food is great! We love to dine in whenever we get the chance, whether it’s breakfast, lunch or dinner, but the staff & food are always great! I do miss our waiter Teresa (she was the best) but everyone is great. I love the pies as well, we always get some for any special occasions. I definitely recommend!

Jamie was awesome server great and attentive to our needs. As for cooks Food could use consistency. Different cooks different flavors or they need to learn the difference between med and med rare. Or to much salt n seasoning.

First time not pleased with service waitress barely came by one time to check didn’t ask till minutes after food was good, then home style potatoes over cooked, only thing good was my toast. Eggs tasted like out of box carton scramble. Will never return and prices over $15 cheapest I saw was $12

We arrived about 11 a.m. on a Monday. The restaurant was very full and busy. We had to wait to be seated. Our server was very busy. So it took more time. Also had to wait considerably for the food to arrive. For the burger and the Santa Fe breakfast burrito, there was quite a large amount of food. However my daughter's grilled cheese was nothing special and cost $12.

01-09-2025 Update; My previous review which was over a year ago, accented a staffing problem. At the time they only had one waitress handling everything most of the time. I've been back here twice in the past 3 months or so, and the staffing issue had been resolved. 👍

First off, I've been visiting Corky's kitchens throughout the inland empire for over a decade. So my experiences had always been really good. Then there's this Corky's here in Apple Valley, where I recently moved to. I don't know if Corky's is a franchise, but it seems to me that whomever owns and runs this particular one is not thinking straight. The problem is not the food, the atmosphere, the cleanliness or lack thereof. None of these things are a problem. But then there's the staff. The last 3 times I've visited there had only been one waitress handling all the tables, all the door dash orders, and charging people for their bill. One person handling all that is just not acceptable! It took nearly a half hour for me to get my breakfast order. And I was by myself. I don't know what the lady's name is, but she's an older lady who does an extremely good job considering what all she has on her plate. So my complaint is not against the person working there but rather against who is staffing this location. My guess is that it is a franchise and the owner doesn't want to allocate much money towards staffing budget.

Our first trip to corky's. They have a Very large selection breakfast lunch and dinner. Just about anything you might desire. The service was great. The food is great, and the portions are humongous. A nice atmosphere. Restaurant is very clean and well maintained. Highly recommended Corky's kitchen

I didn't want to do this but, since it has happened twice I have to ask what is the matter with Corkeys? Their service is bad wether you're in dining and ordering to go. The kids they have working there are more into their socializing that paying attention when the orders are ready. Saw it with my own two eyes and my party noticed it too. It's a shame. Will not be dining there until they improve or get better service experience

came yesterday (11/21/24) and I felt so bad for the staff, absolutely slammed and only had one server per section. was tempted more than once to just leave before our orders were taken as the wait was significant.

Sausage patty and eggs was good, no frills. but the overall experience for two wasn't worth the wait or expense.

Food is very good with good service as well, but at a decent price as well... I recommend the 10oz Rib eye steak with the jalapeño corn bread muffin, Vegetables, Home made Mac 'n Cheese, with the soup of the day on Sunday is a great home made Split pea 🫛 with ham soup... 😋 👌 😀

The food was almost inedible, if we didn't have an elderly person with us we would have not eaten it and left unfortunately. Really really disappointed because Corky's in both Yucaipa and Upland are fantastic. The servers and wait staff were great but completely overwhelmed and under staffed, from what I could see 1 cook, 1 main server, 2 helpers and a restaurant full of customers, honestly felt sorry for them, the helpers were non stop so I hope they got Tipped out well. We heard the breakfast is delicious so we will try again for that but not for dinner.

Corky's kitchen and bakery I would say it's pretty good I specifically go there for breakfast because they have very well portioned and Hardy breakfasts. They also have some pies but mainly I go for the Hardee's breakfast.

Stopped to eat lunch, server being trained said when my wife wanted to order fried chicken that she needed to check if it was available. After watching her and the trainer walk by four times serving other tables I left very angry and frustrated. I told both trainer and server "If your going to check and see if something is on the menu you should come back to let the customer know before helping anyone else. I would rate zero star if I could. You have lost me and anyone I know as customers. Your service is a joke and your trainer should never train anyone because she does not know how to be a good server.

The food is fantastic, portion sizes insane, the service is always great (definitely ask for Jacob's section), and the atmosphere brings you back to a time less complicated. We love our local Corky's!!!

Our waitress just started her shift when we were seated, she stated. She only had 4 tables at that time. We placed our breakfast order and asked for water, toast no butter, and decaf coffee. When the order finally arrived, the toast was buttered, the coffee wasn't decaf, and no water. We asked again for water and decaf and no butter on the toast. It just went downhill from there. Both our orders were incorrect. Sent back for a 2nd time. The 3rd time wasn't a charm. Mine was cold and my wife order had toast, no butter but white bread this time not the wheat toast. Two bites later, we paid and left. Note, never received our water. I regret not taken pictures of the food. Just wanted to leave.

Went here last night August 6th. Ordered a new item on the menu a pork chop and piece of apple pie. The pork chop was very dry and difficult to cut and chew. Much like boot leather. The slice of pie, ice cold! That's all the plate consisted of and they couldn't get it right. I've ate here before and it was pretty good. This was pathetic and a waste of my money!

I tried one of their skillets with jalapenos on it and it was amazing. The jalapenos kicked it off a notch. Which made it the best Skillet I have ever had.

Been to Corkys a few times in the past and foo/service have always been great, today not so much. Wife ordered coffee and as there was no silverware at table.we were sat at I gave her my straw to stir her coffee. My junkyard scramble was tasty although my home fries were burnt, not well done, like bottom of pan burnt. It is the 4th and was very busy when we arrived but service and food were subpar. My scramble came out about 10 minutes before my wife's entree did, we decided just to take it to go and finish at home.

Our server Kaylee was very attentive & extremely nice! She had a full house & was the only server, but she was still checking in on us in good timing! We also didn't like our meals the first time around, but she was very nice about it and let us switch it out to something different. Thank you Kaylee!

We got a ribeye steak and chicken breast dinners to go.

The rib eye was more fat than meat. The chicken breast was tasteless that I doctored up with some BBQ sauce I had.The baked potato was hard and burned. Possibly left over from earlier or a day before? I dunno.Same with the mashed potatos.

The chocolate chip cookie was ok

Definatly not worth the $47 price. Service was ok and although most of it went into the trash can was correct.

The portions are huge!! Everything was hot because of the quick service. All of the wait staff were superb. I would have preferred that the tables be a little farther apart so the conversations of others could not be heard.

We recently moved to SVL. We are trying restaurants around the neighborhood, we went to Corky's for dinner and unfortunately we won't go back, at least not for dinner. We might try breakfast I don't know. My husband ordered the fried chicken with mush potatoes and corn , mush pot were cold and dried and the corn was the worst!! It was slimy and mushy AWFUL!!! On top of that i had to get silverware and napkins my self from another empty table. My cheese burger was OK but won't ordered again the onions sticks were okay.
The waiter was very nice and friendly.

I like Corky's. The food here has always been great, and the portions are extremely generous.

On this visit, I sat for countet service. The place was very busy, however, I was disappointed that I did sit for almost 8 minutes with 0 acknowledgment. I had multiple servers walk past me during those 8 minutes, and not one said hi, or will be right with you, etc... Extremely disappointing with the lack of welcome. When I did finally get acknowledged, my server was great. She was kind, engaging, and genuine.

I ordered ala-cart. I had their corned beef hash, cheesy grits, and a side of fruit. The hash was a bit on the dry side and a bit overcooked compared to times past when I've had it. Flavor was all there, though, and some of the best house made I've had compared to others who make their own. My grits, although cooked decently were bland even with the cheese, thus, I had to add a lot of butter, salt, and pepper to get it to give me some good flavor and make it creamy. The fruit bowl was just honeydew, cantaloupe, and red grapes. Not a very exciting variety of fairy blend for almost $6, but, the fruit was sweet and fresh.

The highlight was the cookies that I bought to go. I got 6 snickerdoodles. They were huge, larger than my entire hand. The outside had a nice crisp and crunchy texture. When you bit into it, though, the inside was soft and chewy. These cookies packed a punch of flavor, with hints of cinnamon, vanilla, and nutmeg. They were perfectly baked!!

The pies are great... I love the chicken pot pies. There really well done and then just the regular stuff. Yeah, I love the meatlose and and Johnny. I just have so much. It's hard to choose, but it's all good. You wouldn't go wrong, go in there. Cause I have never gone wrong. Being there myself with my friends. Like being at home.

Fresh biscuit or muffin served daily. My favorite is the banana nut muffin. Tried the hobo skillet and all their skillets have four or five eggs...good for sharing or taking home leftovers. 😋 Love eating breakfast here. One of my favorite breakfast places in Apple Valley, CA

We came down from Bear Mountain starving for a great meal, and this restaurant did not disappoint. When we arrived, the place was packed so as a party of 6 we had to wait, maybe 5 minutes at most. As soon as we were seated, they took our beverage order. Our waitress was on it! After placing our order, they brought out my young son his meal almost immediately. 5 of us ordered breakfast; the kids' breakfast special, chile verde omelet, Belgium waffle, country benedict, and 2 massive blueberry pancakes! One of us ordered fish n chips. Everything was hot, fresh, and so delicious. This is our new stop now whenever we come to Big Bear. Great job, Corky's staff!!!

This place had the best breakfast. I've lived in the HD for almost 10 years and today we went for the first time. I got the chorizo burrito with avocado and egg whites so bomb. Hubby got the machaca burrito and biscuit and gravy, the flavors were perfect. Daughter got pancakes with strawberries, and son got the breakfast parfait. They were busy but our server Jamie was attentive and quick. Such a great find. It was a bit off our beaten path, but well worth the detour. We will make this our weekend breakfast destination. Excited to try their other options. We also got an orange and cranberry muffin, and a banana nut muffin. They came hit and with butter. So fluffy and delicious. PSA.... they don't currently have the fruity pebbles parfait anymore. Soo if you see it in the photos, it's not currently available.

Dirty. The service was bad. Waitress took chicken off of my plate because the kitchen added by mistake. Roach crawling on floor. They tried to rushed me during dinner. 20 for a plate of food. Sandwich 🥪 . Very small portions and it was just okay.

Came here for Valentine's Day on a date with my wife. Was a good place and the environment feels spacious and open we like that. Came between the breakfast and lunch rush and we're well taken care of food was good... When there busy it's kind of annoying as there is no where to sit and wait and the entrance is very cramped and small. Will return but not when it's busy

Great place, friendly people, staff was courteous, attentive and kind, helpful as possible. Prices are high, but you do get what you pay for, I enjoyed a very high quality meal.
