This is the best cake place i’ve ever been to in my life. I called literally like 20 cake stores to find my 5 year old a transformers cake for his birthday. I called them three days before his birthday and they gave me a masterpiece. Prices were amazing, cake tasted GREAT, and their customer service was top notch. i will be using them for all future events, thank you so much!!!!

Recently had the red velvet cupcake, blueberry cupcake and strawberry shortcake. All were delicious, moist and reasonably priced. I was able to reserve my cake ahead of time and had the lettering done. Friendly staff in person and on phone. Will return and highly recommend.

The 🎂 shop , I had a great experience here. So it was my daughters Bday on May 28 and I wanted to get her a custom cake of her favorite Netflix series (stranger things) it was a last minute order and I'm very greatful they were able to whipe something up for her. They were able to capture great details that my daughter asked for. She loved it. We got a chocolate 8 inch round stack with chocolate fuge and chocolate mousse. It was very moist and delicious 😋 and looked really nice. I definitely recommend this place they have great quality cakes and cupcakes my favorite ones are the cherry 🍒 bombs 💣.

My friend’s daughter had her first birthday party. I had to ask her where the beautiful cake was from ! Not only was the cake beautiful but it was so yummy!!!!! The frosting was great and the Cake itself was a white cake that was super moist and not too sweet . The white cake with the frosting was delicious!!! I will definitely need to stop by anytime I need a cake or anything sweet for an occasion!

We ordered a cake for our daughter’s high school graduation party. Because we live in Menifee, they froze it for us so that it would make it to us fresh. They did exactly what we asked for (white cake with raspberry filling). The cake was so beautiful, so delicious, and a big hit! It was so soft, and rich in flavor. We had some left over, and even after a week, it was soft, and tasty.Thank you Cake Shop, we will definitely order from you again.

The cupcakes are way overrated. There was more frosting and sprinkles than cake. Not to mention the demeaning tone of voice when I would ask questions about the flavors. She served my cupcakes with a disgusted look on her face

The first cake i bought from this shop was good but of course it was an expensive one over $200 and today The second cake i purchased it was cheaper and awful , the bread was hard to cut it was not freshly made at it was supposed to be, i asked for no filling and they put buttercream inside, this is the last time i purchased from this store

I was gifted 6 different cupcakes for my birthday(I ate 5), I got Lemon, Reece s, Birthday Cake, Red Velvet, and Triple Chocolate. Literally the best cupcakes I ve ever eaten, I ate one cupcake a day and they stayed INCREDIBLE! I will recommend this place to every single person! I also bought some cute bracelets by the register! I did get a cold response from the woman behind the counter, I felt like I was a bother to her anyway I m there for one thing and it s my cupcakes and I ll be back probably every birthday lol

The owner is so kind and hard working. I loved the caramel cupcakes I got. I was deciding between this place, Cookie Crumble and Nothing Bundt Cakes. I like how they have such a good variety of cupcakes that look so fancy. These are perfect for someone s bday! Also way cheaper than both of those other places.

Hey cake shop when someone criticizes your establishment maybe you should address those issues instead of coming on here and attacking patrons. Maybe fire the rude people who work there and hire more pleasent employees. There are multiple posts on here mentioning how rude you people are, and you think people are going to support your business, good luck with that.

I feel like most peoples ratings are either love it or hate it, like ooops, my shoe was untied when I went in and tripped when I walked in. Its your fault owner and a bad rating for you, just because you spent $6, they owe you a quality product and a hello and thank you, thats it. This is a real business, with real people that work there, and real customers. Look, our special order cake was perfect. They couldnt read our minds, it wasnt exactly what we wanted, but it was better! If you arent an artist and cant articulate exactly what you want dont expect exactly what YOU want, if they cant read your mind, dont expect perfection. Ours was perfect! Thank you.

The customer service here is TRASH. The lady didnt even crack a SMILE and acted like she didnt want to take my order right away. She also slightly raised here VOICE as I was trying to EXPLAIN how I wanted MY cake. I was going to spend almost 200$ but why would I NOW? Karma is real, god bless this place. This is our local boutique cake shop. The folks there are quite nice. They are always very accommodating. Their products keep getting better. Their last few cakes have been extremely moist. They always do great artwork. I am very happy they are in the high desert.

*Update:* What is happening?!? Do you not like servicing POC? I go in, wait patiently while only 1 person is serving. As soon as the older lady comes out I assume she will help, but she looks towards me & assists the other employee. Theyre chatting up a customer, being nice to him. Once the line is backing up she comes back & asks whos next. Looking completely past me, & to the woman in the back of the store. That woman was just as shocked as I was & said uhh...that would be her! Then as the lady was giving me my items she refused 2 look at me. I was literally behind the glass, she saw me the 1st time. Was it my tattoos? My skin color? My pink hair? What is wrong with you? I was hoping my last visit was a fluke, apparently not. I hope another bakery opens as Apple Valley continues expanding. Maybe Ill be more welcomed there. Previous review: Echoing another review, I didnt appreciate the girl who took our order. She was very condescending & said Is this something you think you can afford? I dont know what she was implying, or what about our appearance gave her the right to judge a customer period, but she needs to be replaced immediately. Ive had pretty positive experiences here up to this point, but a business who backs this attitude needs reform. Also, quality has changed as frosting & fillings are not great.

Order our wedding cake through the Cake Shop and we were not disappointed! Went to our appointment with ideas from Pinterest and an empty stomach. With the help of the incredibly friendly staff, we were able to bring our cake vision to life. We ordered a 3-tiered cake for 110 people and every scrap was eaten. My husband and I almost didnt even get a piece it went so quickly! Overall, we have no complaints. Thank you so much for creating the tastiest wedding cake of our dreams!!

Prices are very high on a 2 tier cake that feeds up to 30 people is $200.+ And claims not to be able to make it the way I requested. When I have had a cake made the way I requested in the past, perfectly! But the macarons are very good!!

2/5 as a cupcake lover i admit their cupcakes are beautiful, but everyone knows its the filling thats makes it stand out. I ordered a decent amount of cupcakes for an event and came to realize that the filling made about 3% of the cake. That was disappointing to say the least. I still have about 20 and despise the fact that i a miniscule amount of filling. Why charge extra for flavored fillings if you wont add an acceptable amount? Seems unreasonable to me.

Had a seemingly easy time ordering my daughters birthday cake from here last year I asked for a Minnie mouse cake and vahla I got a Minnie Mouse cake, this year it has taken almost a week to try and order every time I call to order there was an excuse, I was told their email doesn t work and to come in which is 30 minutes away, I tried to tell her it s no big deal any animated cake of the cartoon will do, it doesn t have to be over the top, mind you this is exactly how I ordered it last year by phone but the kid at the front desk this year either acts like she doesn t have the time or can care less about the business and it s customer service. If the owners read this please hire someone who wants and cares about their job and doesn t loose you business. I wanted to order again but in the middle of figuring out the design she hung up on me, I thought we got disconnected but I called back to back no answer but she decides to answer my other phone so it was apparent she purposefully hung up on me and didn t want my business, very unprofessional. I guess she has the authority to pick and choose customers.

I Have ordered cakes from this shop for over 5 years. I have always been very happy with the quality and attention to detail to their work. But their quality isn t their anymore and that attention to detail is non existent. Don t know what has happed. Order a cake last weekend not worth half of what I paid for. Color was way off. Red was a neon orange, the edible paper was used and seams were lifting and melting off. Cake was not fresh. Really disappointed and the have lost me customer and also many of our guest at the birthday couldn t believe our cake was from the cake shop. If I had pick up the cake personally I would have not accepted it.

I love this place. I knew to come here for my wedding cake, and they did not disappoint. We LOVED our cake! We did 1 sheet of white cake and oreo filling, 1 tier cake of red velvet and cream cheese frosting, and last tier of carrot cake and cream cheese frosting. Thank you so so much!

If Google had the option to put ZERO stars Horrible customer service l wanted to order some edible pictures for a homemade cake I made for my son bday and the girl said no we dont do that we put the pictures on for you when you order a cake from us. 2 cakes ordered within a month and both were very disappointing. This used to be a great place to get cakes buy something has changed. Frosting is smothered on and too sweet, also the cakes are out together poorly. One cake literally fell apart within a half hour of getting it home. I do not recommend this place. Even after I complained and got a 15.00 gift certificate, will I use this establishment again. I recommend looking elsewhere.

Treats were good did not like the customer service tried to order a custom cake lady kept saying that what I wanted would be over my budget and costly which I never said I had a budget she just assumed . Which then I replied I didnt care how much it costed and she still was telling me it was gonna cost to much and I continued to try and ask what flavor cakes and fillings and she said it be whatever in season which I was trying to order the cake for 2week time frame and wouldnt even tell me what flavors or even try to take my order so worst customer service took my business else where would not recommend this place at all

I have ordered cakes from The Cake Shop for years and they have always been beautiful. Something has drastically changed. Customer service is lacking. Ordered a cake three months ago for my sons birthday and it looked like a girls cake, ribbons all over it. Took it back and had them correct it. Thought it was a one off. Ordered my daughters 21st b-day cake from them a week ago. Picked the cake up, brought it home and realized they spelled the word birthday wrong! This was a $180 cake. I called to discuss it with the manager and was told that the manager would not come to the phone to discuss it. It is very sad to see a business go downhill like this and be so unresponsive to their longtime customers. I will not be back.

I gave this 5 stars for the cupcakes and bran muffins. The bran muffins are the best I have ever had and sell out very quickly. Everything is fresh and the shop is immaculately clean. It smells really good in there and it is pleasant as soon as you walk in. I did get one person that wasnt particularly friendly but were all entitled to a bad day now and then so thats what well chalk that up to now. I do however believe that they are very overpriced. I dont go often but they do have an assortment of small, beautiful, very delicious cupcakes I absolutely love so its okay to treat myself now and then.

This place has good cakes but bad customer service. They mess up on your order and they dont give you your refund in full. They want to give you only a store certificate for a couple of dollars to buy at their shop. Why would you want to buy anything else at their shop! With the way they treat you! We wont be going back to them or recommending anyone.

Just went in this morning to celebrate an occasion with my fiance!! We went crazy and got macaroons, cupcakes, brownies, and chocolate eclairs ... let me tell you the best desserts weve ever had ! Customer service was fantastic! Love love this place definitely will be coming back and recommending to everyone!!!

The best birthday cake ever!!! My first time there and the variety of deliciousness is endless! I bought a neopolitan cake and it was amazing!!! Its definitely my favorite cake shop!!!

I placed an order for a cake on short notice and they were still able to accommodate me. Everyone there was so sweet even over the phone. The cake came out great and was reasonably priced. Amazing place!

Ordered a cake for our granddaughters baby shower. Wonderful people! The cake was exactly what I had asked for. Colors were perfect any the little elephant on top couldn t have been cuter! And the flavors, spice cake and carrot cake, were incredible. Such a great place to have a cake done.0

Over priced normal sized cup cakes. Had a couple good cupcakes but not worth the money in my opinion. Hubby LOVES several cups cakes.

Best cake Ive tasted in the high Desert im going back for my sons Birthday cake .Ladies your cakes or off the chain. You should give out samples tho..I didnt know which cake I wanted or what it would taste like. Samples would have helped.
