Round Table Pizza

I ordered a pizza for pick up on Tuesday 11-5-24. I picked it up at 4:27 pm for $33.93 . After I arrived home and my guests tried the bad pizza , I tasted and inspected the pizza as well. I then called Apple Valley Round Table Pizza immediately at 5:05 pm to report an issue with bad crust.

The crust was cracker thin and tough with a bad taste. Something went wrong in the dough rising process or very old product from what I could guess. I know the Round Table crust is not large in size which has always been great, but this time something was wrong! I have videos and pictures of a recent visit ordering 2 pizzas. I posted them on Facebook and the pizzas were wonderful. ( I will mention this again later in my conversations with Dorothy the manager) As mentioned, something went wrong that night with my order!

During my call I was told that I could bring back the pizza for remaking or 15% off of a future purchase. Since I was hosting a event at my home I told them I was unable to resolve the issue at that time. I was then told by the women cashier that she would call her manager Dorothy for guidance and she would call me back. Four hours later at 9:08 pm I received a call back from the cashier "after the store closed" and I was told that Dorothy her manager had asked for me to contact her on Thursday 11-7-24 as Dorothy was off work until then.

On the way back to round table to meet with Dorothy I grabbed one piece of the bad pizza from the refrigerator and put it into a zip lock bag to show Dorothy the issue. It seemed senseless to bring all of the expiring pizza back. After I showed Dorothy the bad dough / crust she told me the pizza I returned looked as it always does with no crust. (picture attached) I reminder Dorothy that I had pictures and videos of what their pizza always looks like and she got an angry look. I told her I have pictures that Round Table Corp uses for advertisement that tell a whole different story! (picture attached) Then Dorothy said that if I had bought back the pizza on Tuesday 11-5-24 they would have remade it! I tried to explain to Dorothy (all that you just read in this review) and that I was following HER directions of resolving the issue on Thursday and Dorothy refused to acknowledge my concerns.

Dorothy even "suggested" that I ate the pizza and no refund! I told Dorothy I still had half of the pizza still on my counter at home and I would go home to get it and even then Dorothy said no remake, no refund! Dorothy never expected that I had the bad pizza at home but I did have it and was willing to go get it! (picture attached) I never thought Dorothy would be so petty as to even suggest that I ate the pizza and say no remake , no refund just because I bought back one piece for her inspection! However as you can see it wasn't about her getting the pizza back now was it! I still have all of the bad pizza in my freezer as I waited to see if the owner would call me back to resolve and he never did. As I walked out Dorothy and I looked at many of the pizzas that were at customers tables and all looked great but Dorothy still refused to help me.

This is a small but nice pizza place with a reservable party room. We have used this room on a couple of occasions, and it is fully enclosed, so it works out really well. The pizza is very good. The salad bar could use an upgrade, though. The servers and workers are always very friendly and accommodating.

Absolutely the worst experience at this Apple Valley location! Cynthia and Dorothy should not be in customer service!! I felt ignored not once, not twice, but THREE TIMES I tried getting my order screwup resolved! The attitude and tone from Cynthia was completely uncalled for. Dorothy wasn’t much better with her way of handling customers complaint. Cynthia took my original receipt and refused to give me back my original receipt showing my order and instead tried just giving the cooks ticket. Absolutely disgusted with the way I was treated! The food was not even worth the prices either! I will never return to this Round Table and will definitely tell all of my friends about the disgusting dirty atmosphere, the nasty food, but mostly the service received from both Cynthia and Dorothy! DO BETTER WITH WHO YOU HIRE TO REPRESENT YOUR ESTABLISHMENT!! 🤬😡😤

They canceled my order an hour after ordering. Saying they closed an half hour ago. The website said they had another hour to be open. Of course it was on Halloween so maybe they needed to trick or treat? Very poor customer service. Got a response on here asking me to email them. I did, all they asked was what location. Then never responded back.

Round table is one of those places you go to if you want pizza, but don't really care about if it's good or not. We got a vegetarian pizza, and asked for pepperoni on half of it, but they put pepperoni on the whole thing instead. I'd say its inline with bowling alley pizza. The staff was really nice, and the place was relatively clean.

The order took over an hour to get here. Once it got here, the pizza was smashed and all the toppings were on the lid. I called to get this replaced or refunded. I waited 4 minutes after they told me I was being transferred to a manager then hung up on. When using another phone I was told the manager was not in. Then shift lead was rude on the phone, had me text pictures to a personal phone then told us to wait for 20 minutes before being contacted back. This store is much better when you door dash, I wouldn’t order from them via their website ever again.

I would give ONE star if I could! I ordered food at 445. Gave them my card number and got a confirmation.by 700pm my order has not arrived and they do not know why. They stated the door dash “ left 20 mins ago”. Another hour goes by and I called back. Apparently my order was never placed! Wow! What a disgrace. Never again.

We have been going to this Round Table for many years. Since it reopened after COVID-19, the service and the food quality has improved. The pizza is always very tasty, very fresh, and house great presentation. The staff is very friendly. The only area that I think that they could improve on is the cleanliness of the dining area. They seem to be understaffed during busy times and have a hard time cleaning the tables and keeping up with the orders.

Placed my order online for dine in, showed up maybe 15minutes early, they had my bread twists hot and ready, the soda was nice and cold, and they brought out the pizza in a timely manner! Over all, great experience!!

This location is consistently an hour late on deliveries, management is nowhere to be found and this understaffed location just needs to be put out of its misery and replaced with a restaurant that knows what they are actually doing.

I would not eat at this location again if they actually paid me to eat here.

It used to be fantastic. A long wait time but at least it was generally on time and hot, not warm HOT.

Little Caesars is basically down the block and a better deal in all regards.

Thanks Round Table. I went, hoping that the Lunch Buffet was still ongoing as it is Other locations. Sadly, it wasn't. However, there were still decent lunch deals to be had.

This is about the most expensive pizza chain around and it's not the best. $55 for a medium 1 topping and a 2 topping xlarge. I called the order in, waited the time given and went to pick it up. 6 people ahead of me in line - no dedicated pick up line. 1 person handling the orders, filling pitchers of beer, handing out plates and glasses, etc. Dozen of 7 year old or younger kids running around at full speed, falling down and totally unsupervised as Mom and Dad (or coach) sit drinking beer.

I pre-ordered on-line and gave a pick up time, I arrived 15 minutes early and the pizza was ready. I got home 8 minutes later and the pizza was ice cold. For a $28 medium pizza I expected to be hot.

The service was great. Friendly staff. The food was ok. My negative feedback about this store is the cleanliness. Let's think of it the dining is filthy and then how much more inside the kitchen? 😬 This place needs a thorough clean!!! The soda machine alone is moldy🫢. This is our second time here and what I have to say is consistently with both times.

Good food, meh prices, absolutely horrible cleanliness. We were seated with over half of the tables covered in the waste of previous people, and even our "clean" booth had food on it. The food is great honestly, but you have to wait a long time in a place with horrible lighting, 2 different types of music, and a TV blaring at the same time while kids run around and scream. The salad bar is horrific, just messy, all over the place and genuinely disgusting to even look at

The staff are friendly, at least

So in the end, food is great, everything else is severely lacking

The garlic chicken extravaganza pizza is AWESOMMMMMEEE-!!! Would've given 5 stars EXCEPT-the garlic cheese bread was like eating CARDBOARD CEMENT-!! AND they forgot to give me any marinera sauce for the garlice cheese bread either-! (Oh and btw-thats powdered Parmesan cheese and crused red peppers on top and GUACAMOLE on the side of my pizza-!Lol) They are a bit pricey too-

If I could leave a no star I would. This is the 2nd time visiting this specific Round Table pizza and both times it was a nightmarish experience. The 1st time around the restaurant was swamped with flies. It was a constant battle with the flies for my food. This 2nd time around it was well over an hour of wait before I asked for my money back. The final straw was when 3 other customers orders came out before ours. We just ordered a simple pizza and the other customers had their pizza plus appetizers. I had walked up to ask about my order 15 minutes before asking for my refund and walking out and our order wasn’t even a thought in their heads. 15 minutes later when I asked for my refund the pizza wasn’t even being prepared. Terrible experience with terrible employees.

I was treated extremely poorly and blatantly lied to. I spoke with Gina after placing an online order that was already paid for along with a delivery fee that was also paid for, that my order had to be canceled due to no delivery drivers. However, that was a lie. I called back pretending to be someone else and was told that there was in fact delivery drivers. They were just too lazy to deliver the order. If you aren’t able to deliver to a certain area past 6 miles, then you need to fix your website so those orders are denied delivery. Not lie to your paying customers.

Pizza was great. A little expensive, but they use quality ingredients so it is worth it.
Dorthy is great worker, she always is friendly and makes sure your order is correct.

Am UberEats driver and I was denied a delivery due to having no pizza bag. First of all we do not do pizza deliveries per se since it’s rare to get these deliveries since most pizza companies have their own delivery service. Plus anything you order delivered from anywhere will probably need heated up. The owner here seems to think it’s the absence of a bag is why people are receiving cold pizzas. More than likely it was because of the driver being so late on his/her delivery. Disposable pizza bags would be the best solution for the pizza stores provided by them. I used my pizza bag only one or two times in a month. The manager is very hardworking lady and very nice.

Pretty trash when it comes to round table standard. Was served Raw food twice when ordering delivery and told to bring my pizza in for them to fix.
Uhm.. Hello I ordered delivery for a reason my guy.

Most round tables are good. But this one? No, spend your money at pizza factory or papa johns. This place has no quality control.

This place has the customer service that's long been forgotten since Covid began. The staff interacted with the kids, made them smile and laugh, and overall went above and beyond. The food has not lost its authenticity and was made just like I remember it when I was a kid. They had selections for meat eaters, gluten-free options, and vegetarian dishes. It's definitely worth checking out with the family!

Unfortunately yesterday was the 2nd time they messed up my order. I drive 25 minutes for their pizza only to come home with with the wrong pizza 🤦. This is the 2nd time!...last time half of the ingredients were missing from the King Arthur's pizza I understand sometimes they run out of things but I was never told that half of the ingredients were going to be missing and this time they gave me a pepperoni pizza instead of the King Arthur I ordered. 😑

Love the pizza so much flavor♡ I had forgotten how much I enjoyed it untill a friend mentioned it the other day.
The bathrooms could of been way cleaner was out of seat covers and paper.
Umm not to sure of the neighborhood. Why on earth is the employee walking around with a huge knife on his hip and where is management? Didnt feel safe leaving the place after seeing that.

Oh how I have missed RTP!

My Uncle used to take me to RTP for a Large Pep, thick crust, extra sauce a lot! This brings back memories...

Ordered up a pizza and some BBQ boneless wings. Driver showed up on time, was courteous, friendly, pizza & boneless wings were hot and fresh! Pepperoni's had the burnt edges! So tasty!! BBQ boneless wings were so packed with flavor it made me wish I ordered a 12 piece!

Great experience with RTP. It definitely made up for the last time eating there over a year ago.

Pizza an hour later than promised. Ranch I ordered was not delivered with the pizza. Called to complain and the "manager" could have cared less to properly rectify the situation. Offers me 10 percent off my next order too bad coupons offer a better deal. Calling the corporate office tomorrow.

The pizza was good, the hot wings were good as well I asked for extra crispy and they came like that. I just wish they would have a lil more games for kids so they can be entertained but overall it was a good visit.

Called for delivery said it would be here at 618...about 45 mins.. But it really took 2 hours ... Called 2 times both times they said the driver left...i live less then ten mins away.. Ok your busy I get it... But the 3rd time I called they said it was leaving in 5 mins... Pizza got here semi warm and my order was 85.00$!! NEVER AGAIN!!! good pizza but you guys are 2× liars!!!

My first time ordering online. As I enter the website I was prompt to sign up for royal rewards to get a free order of 6 twists. Sounded good so I signed up with FB. As I approached the counter, I inquiried about it and was told they need to physically see my phone and tjat I had downloaded the app. I showed my phone and I had 10 points but not even the rewards for my current order of almost $40. I asked the cashoer about the twist she flat out said she doesnt "deal with the computer stuff". I complained because to me that is false advertisement. . On top of that I was told the wait would be 20 min and when I arrived, on time, she kust printed the order and started to make it!! Poor customer service, deceiving advertisement!!

For the second time in a row my online order was started when I arrived rather then when it was placed.
The first time this happened the store was very busy so I let it slide.
The second instance the store was empty. My two personal pizzas were done sitting on top of the oven. Other pizzas were coming out of the oven. I walked in (10min after the website it would be complete) and gave my name, they said, “Your order is almost done. We just need to finish the twists.”

When I got home the two pizzas were barely warm and the twists were hot. Food is always great and made as ordered. Just wish they would work on my order when it’s placed.

This Pizza Place is the best in high dessert😍 Try their food, it taste delicious!!! The staff is so professional!!! Especially Ryan is so awesome, he takes his time, he’s very professional & helpful. I give this pizza place a 10.

I gave this five stars mostly for the salad bar. The pizza is good but I found it to be pricey. The toppings are very generous however and the crust is tender and delicious. Nice staff and your order is prepared quickly without too much of a wait. The salad bar is well stocked and everything is fresh and so good. Great family place.
