This Review is solely based on the brisket burrito. I placed order through their website, no call in orders. I went in to pick up, plenty of parking, the guy in the front was very cheerful and i asked for condiments after he handed me my order, he didn t hesitated at all and brought me 3 different sauces, so that was amazing! The burrito itself looked good, and the first bite was flavorful, the mac and cheese was excellent, the brisket was good too, it didn t tasted too salty which i like, the burrito was really yummy. The burrito was all wrapped in cheese as well. Would come here again just to try the other burrito. So worth a try definitely. Parking: Good number of parking spots!

My son and I love our experiences at Craft in Arcadia. This is our third visit, and the staff and food quality never fail to impress! Bernie was our waitress this time, and she was so kind and attentive to our family. She checked in with us frequently and made sure we had everything we needed. It had been a long day at work, and her wonderful attitude truly brightened our evening. Our go-to order is usually the ribeye and the chicken tenders, and both dishes are incredibly delicious. The ribeye is smoked, juicy, and full of flavor, with an amazing sauce that complements it perfectly. The chicken tenders are equally fantastic juicy and tender inside, with a crunchy crunch on the outside. We highly recommend this restaurant! The staff and food are outstanding. Thank you, Bernie and the entire team, for giving us a wonderful dining experience!

They charge a 3% cover charge. Everything was a la carte, The barbecue chicken with pink inside. The waitress said the barbecue chicken comes with cornbread but they were out so I asked her is our substitute she said no. The waitress came to our table one time after she delivered our food. For what they charge you should get a complete meal.

Went here for lunch. Was not impressed with the quality of food, service or cleanliness of the entire restaurant! The BBQ was way over cooked, had no flavor whatsoever! The drinks were watered down! To me, if the restaurant is not clean then this cascades over to the food! Serious housekeeping issues!

Server didnt bring out one of our items and midway through the meal told us they didnt have it in stock, then left without offering another item or even a chance to order something else. Insanely bad service, my dad was still hungry believe it or not.

Tiny little cast iron dish with dried out mac n cheese, not creamy, not cheesy, and slivers of meat on top. At least $20.00 for that, and a lady asked if that is all they brought me, for all that money. Absolutely outrageous!!! I do NOT know how they can stay in business, and I could have ate at Domenicos ALL YOU CAN EAT LUNCH from 11AM until 2 PM for twenty dollars. I will NOT go to this outrageous restaurant called Craft By Smoke and Fire. I do NOT even like that Satanic sounding name.

First walked in, my partner was so excited. The smell of pit smoke hits you, we ordered a cocktail each and decided to try the brisket and smoked tri tip. Lets just say we ended up leaving and went somewhere else to eat dinner. The meats we got were trash, room temperature and so dry it could have passed for beef jerky. Our server kept to the bar watching whatever sports game was on, we sat there so long waiting for the check we probably could have just left without paying and no one would have noticed. Obviously we didnt but definitely could have.

We went there on a weekday. Plenty of seats available. Everything was on the salty side which I don t care for. The short rib was tender but the surface was covered with salt. I had to scrap the top layer off. Fried Brussel sprouts were salty too. Husband ordered medium rare steak but the steak turned out rare. The vegan sandwich was not very good: oyster mushroom was greasy. We like the subway veggie sandwich better.

The staff needs training on customer service. This is not a cheap place but it felt like one. It took for ever to get our food and drinks. Our waiter keep forgetting what we ordered and when we finally got our food there were no utensils available. At that moment we were starving and my husband was getting upset with the service. We finally got plastic utensils couldn t even cut our steak they said the utensils were being wasted we ordered another beer and realized the waiter forgot our beer again! Got our entree at the end maybe they need different management or servers or both. Bad service will spoil our experience we rather spend our money we re we have good service to go with it. The table next to us is also complaining we won t come back again.

We went here for lunch on a Thursday afternoon. Our server and staff were very nice and friendly. The restaurant is clean and pleasant. Our food came out reasonably quick. But the food quality just wasnt appealing to us. I got a pastrami sandwich which was very tasty. I did like the meat, but the sandwich size was lacking. I got a baked potato with my order and it was terrible. I asked for another and it was the same. It seems they cook them unwrapped so what you end up with is a dehydrated potato with hard skin. It was a disaster and Im not sure why any restaurant would serve them like this. We also ordered a smoked sausage just to try it and it was also dehydrated to the point of being similar to a slim Jim jerky stick. It was terrible. I come from a long life of barbecuing and smoking and just the sausage and potato were appealing enough to keep me from ever coming back again. They didnt even do a good job with the garlic bread. It wasnt toasted, just oily and not fresh tasting. The other plate we ordered was tri tip and the same opinion of who pays for this came across the table. If you think Lucilles bbq(awful food) is good you will enjoy this place though.

My friend Edmund Liang also known as chedmund Liang also know as chudmund and also known as Edmund Lien recommended this place after a hard day of jumping at Skyzone shout out to SkyZone and Angel Nolasco and Robert Godinez and Kyle Lieu! But damn them to hell Aiden Nguyen and Riley Le these people are hella disrespectful. At least these two losers werent at craft bbq. I was so hungry and ready to chow down on some yummy bbq but was greatly disappointed by the quality and taste of the food. I was having high expectation because my friend said he tried it but his taste buds clearly dont work NEVER will come back 1 star. I would rather get food at a AutoZone or strip club at least I get entertainment and good food or my car parts and a taste of their famous sea food boil. The employees were kind and willing to help my disable friend Robert Godinez. The location had a decent wifi connection and I was able to play brawl stars.

Very, very bad service. Like extremely bad. Also want to add they charge a 3% service fee. Since I had already waited so long for my server to come back with my change I did not bring it up and ask why. At this point I was very annoyed considering the place was practically empty besides one large party coming in while I was waiting for my change. I wanted to leave no tip considering the horrible service, but I left a small tip and took the service fee off the tip as well. It was nice that we received a free quesadilla but it honestly doesnt make up for it, imo.

The food was disgusting. The brisket grilled cheese was way too salty, and inedible. The birria tacos didn t come with birria, but rather something resembling a cup of grease. The hot chicken tacos were over fried chicken tenders served on a basic tortilla with sauce to add flavor. DO NOT order the street corn as a side, it s just a cup of unseasoned, burnt corn kernels. The staff was very nice and attentive. Unfortunately the kitchen cannot execute the menu with anything resembling quality. I wish we went to Cheesecake Factory next door instead. Save your money and appetite.

We came here to celebrate my husbands bday. Food was cooked to perfection. Customer service was good. The manager is very kind gave us shots and wrote happy bday in it. We ordered the all smoke platter. We have plenty of left overs for dinner and probably the next day. We ordered it with Mac n cheese, Mashed potatoes, Brussel sprouts and waffle fries. We ate during happy hour and the drinks are buy one and get on free of the same drink.

Food was amazing. The birria quessadilla is a great appetizer and you can never go wrong with a pile of meat for food. Good place to share plates if you want to try everything. This version is in the mall and is really light and airy. Looks totally new, which I think it is. We got there at 6 on a Monday and it was empty bit filled up fast while we were there. Came back at 6:15 on a Thursday and it was still empty, but filled up quick.

I visited this restaurant on a Tuesday night and was extremely disappointed by the understaffing and lack of service. Upon arrival, the bartender seated us and took our drink order. However, ten minutes passed, and we still hadnt received our drinks. Instead of attending to us, the bartender was busy cleaning tables and seemed more focused on leaving early than serving customers. This is a clear example of what happens when there is a lack of leadership and no management present. The absence of proper management was evident and resulted in a poor dining experience. I would not recommend this place based on my visit.

My girlfriend and I came here after a long day of shopping at Forever 21 only for her to walk out with absolutely nothing!!! I was furious!! I needed a drink! PRONTO!!! (Insert angry face) After further research I realized that conveniently there was a Craft by Smoke & Fire where Wood Ranch used to be so I made a reservation. I got in my car with the quickness and drove 1 min from the Forever 21 parking lot down to the Craft parking lot. I furiously opened my car door and made my way towards the entrance of the restaurant of what once was Wood Ranch, only to realize a reservation wasnt necessary as this place was emptier than a Jennifer Lopez concert. (IYKYK) We were swiflty seated upon our arrival because it was less busier than the Pasadena location. Our server Miguel se puso trucha, locos en carrucha because although it was very slow, he was wearing many hats and serving several tables at a time. Anywayz.... I went ahead and ordered meself a Burn the Ships cocktail only to find out that no ships were burned in the making of this drink, literally they forgot to add the smoke. (AaarrrRR) I got my girlfriend a water as punishment and because it was free, but dont worry guys I got her a lemon to quench her thirst and hopefully her appetite too. I ordered the prime rib brisket quesadilla which was exquisite, definitely recommend it 5/5. I would say you could share it with another person, but I didnt. I also got the ½ lb brisket with a side of garlic and herb mashed potatoes that were drier than my mouth after smoking a bowl. Oh and by the way, the cornbread (came with the brisket) was delicious . While waiting for my entree Miguel mustve noticed the frustration in my face and brought me a complimentary adios mf shot only to find out that he was giving every body else one too. To conclude this review, the food was good, the ambiance compared to the Pasadena location was mehh... And Miguels service was superb! Definitely will not be bringing my girlfriend back to this location again as Forever 21 is just within walking distance! (For all intents and purposes, this is satire and my girlfriend was fed my leftovers.)

I dont normally leave reviews but needed say something so others dont waste their time or money. We got sat at our table and no one came to take our order for 15 minutes. And it was pretty empty. There were so many staff walking around but somehow avoided our table so we werent able to flag anyone down. We tried to walk over to tell the host but he had walked away right when we went up there. We decided to leave since no one would have noticed anyways.

Very busy place on a Friday night, and a nice selection of items on the menu. The pastrami was amazingly good, Im so glad I chose it over the brisket - tender and full of flavor. The beef short rib was also very good, moist and tender but not fatty, although the rub was excessively salty. Pickles were perfectly pickled and crunchy. Mud pie was the choice of dessert for several at our table and was enjoyed all around. The service was sufficient but not stellar - some hospitality faux pas like serving drinks by holding the rim, and not bussing any dishes from the table until the very end of the meal. Id definitely return for more of the delicious meat!

When we first survived, we were sat down in the crowded area Not easy to get to our seats! Then a sworm of Kids came in at least 20 of them. They were so loud people behind us and in front of us were yelling at each other in order to be able to hear their conversation. So we were brought our menus. 10 min later we were offered to order our drinks. 10-15 min later we ordered our food. 1 hour later were served. Along with burnt shrimp as an appetizer Only burnt appetizers arrived at our table. So we just ignored it. Then, as you can tell the picture, I didnt have hardly any Avacado lettuce was just thrown on the plate I had four pecans or nuts in it whatever they are in a few cranberries I had to ask for dressing because some of the dressing was already on it, which Ive never had it served. That way they usually put it on the side. And I had to ask for the other fixings Avacado was smooshed in there. He was one little piece like the end of the avocado. .Then one of the guest I brought pulled a hair out of the food. After that, it was very disgusting. I couldnt eat anymore. Neither could anybody else Let the waiter know what was going on and he apologize for having our food brought up to us late. He stated that the ticket got lost in the kitchen one and two for the Hair He said he would let his manager know. And apparently the managers went to the office as we patiently waited 15 minutes for them to arrive. According to the waiter, they might be viewing the cameras thats why theyre delaying coming to the table. There was no reason for us to be dishonest, if anything was more humiliating to the guest that I took of the poor service not only that, but the meat was cold Everything was not acceptable. Then the manager comes over to tell us that she was not gonna charge us for our alcohol drinks to compensate what we have experience I believe her name was Wendy. Yes, thats her name. Poor management If you look at my other yelp reviews for this restaurant, youll see the difference in the food!!!

We ate there on Saturday afternoon. There was no wait, they had a spin the wheel for something free. We picked the nachos. They were so disgusting, they had pickles and BBQ sauce on them. The waiter served them and said hed bring us serving plates once the dishwasher washed them - We never got them. Then, when we were ready to oder he asked if we were ready for our check. We ordered our food no one ever checked if our food was okay or if we needed anything. The Bleu cheese coleslaw was terrible. I probably could have exchanged it but since our server never checked back with us it was impossible to exchange it. The table next to us was waving their napkin to get the manager or waiters attention. The manager, short, petit female looked over but did not come over to help. My friend finally went in the kitchen and told the manager about how dissatisfied we and the table next to us were with the service. The manager never came over to apologize or hear our concerns. Instead, from the kitchen she shouted out about the California law and that our server was on a break. She ended up giving the table next to us a 50% discount but did nothing for us. This was our first (and last) time visiting this restaurant. We were celebrating a birthday and what a disappointment the experience was.

We exchanged the tri-tip to briskets, which came cold and flavorless. The highlight for the entire dinner was the double IPA I ordered. We ended up at this place because the restaurant next door was crowded. We sat at the bar and were greeted by Marvin the bartender. He was funny and quick witted. The drinks were stiff he made, making our time there enjoyable. When it came time to order, our noses were met with plenty of aromas. Although the choices looked good, we settled on a short rib birria quesadilla and a loaded chicken potato, which was called the Big Texan, originally with brisket to which I substituted. Needless to say, the food didn t impress as much as we thought but it was eatable. If you re looking for some good drinks, I would say go there but the food is so so. I can t recommend going there just for the food.

I rarely give bad reviews and I understand every place has an off day or just busier than usual days . Just a multitude of reasons why establishments aren t at their best. But this seemed to be the norm. We started off at the bar while we waited for our table for our large party. Service at the bar was great. Once we got to our table that s where the problems started. The waiter comes out to take our drink order along with appetizers that went off fine. Comes back with our drinks and appetizers which had to have been the best part of the whole visit. Appetizers were amazing . Fresh and hot. We then go about placing our entree orders for 13 people. At no point and time did the waiter mention that any of the options or dishes were not available. We also at that time placed another order for drinks from the bar. We re having a good time when the table next to us was mentioning that they were told some entrees weren t available. We thought it was funny since we weren t told that but hope for the best. About 35-45 min later (still no drinks) but dishes start coming out. In no particular order at all and some items were mixed with other orders at our table. During that moment was when we were told some items were not available. So we could pick alternatives. That was a bit upsetting but we brushed it off. Shortly after we finally received our drinks that were ordered. As we all start enjoying our meals was when we noticed issues with the food. Broccoli was extremely over cooked, chili did not even seem like chili and was soooo cold it was pretty much solidified in the container it came in, nachos were horrible, burrito was also horrible and there was hair in some of the entrees. We had to address this to the manager to which he said he would adjust some items and placed chips at the table. Upon speaking to the manager my mother was taking a sip of her drink and found a hair in her drink with the manager right in front of us. She showed him at that moment and he continued to say none of his staff had hair to match what was just found insinuating my mother was lying when this happened right in front of his eyes. He said he did what he could with the bill and would speak to his staff and apologized for the items that they were out of as they had a busy day. If there were items that weren t available this should have been communicated to all staff so they can inform customers as they order to avoid issues and upset customers. We were extremely disappointed in the assistance from the manager this night also. He was indifferent and not helpful at all. At the end of the visit after we had paid we noticed as we were walking to the bathroom that the kitchen was EXTREMELY dirty, trash all over the floor and no kitchen staff wearing any kind of PPE what so ever. No gloves, beard coverings and or hairnets. I can t think of a more disappointing expensive experience I ve ever had. This establishment definitely needs to do better . And I suggest better manager training.

We came for my 20th birthday family get together due to the long wait times at Din Tai Fung(4hr wait btw) while they quoted us 1hr 30 min we got seated in 1 hr 20 min. Very busy Saturday night understandable. Our server was obviously overwhelmed by the busy night again understandable. Then we finally settled hangry and all ready to place drinks and appetizers, came out in about 10-15 min the appetizers drinks and our server took our orders, and then our food came in 20-40 which I ll say was ok the longer side due to the fact that every side and dish came out with other dishes after already getting the main dish (so sides came with other dishes after the fact) but we got everything none the less. min after as well we found 3 separate pieces of hair in our food, blonde hair, beard hair and the other unknown , almost everyone disliked some (from the seasoning to the actual quality of the dish) when we finally had a chance to speak to a manager about our service and our food he was only able to take of the burritos and broccoli when almost everyone had a problem and or concern or actual (hair in the food) and said something along the lines of he wouldn t be able to trace back any of those hairs in the back. And kinda was ready to disregard our service and have us pay our bill and leave even though we were explaining valid concerns the bill still came out too $400 and I decided to leave my own $20 tip to the server. Overall, the experience was mediocre and the service was okay, (server ; Joey) (The Manager ; Danny )on the other hand doesn t seem to have as much as a concern for literal hairs being in his customers food, as well the restaurant was absolutely filthy from the floors in the kitchen to the bathroom and not a single cook was wearing a hair net, beard net and this place needs to have a healthy code inspector immediately! I will be adding photos Wheelchair accessibility: The walkways were always open and made enough space to get to point a to point b. Ex :bathroom

When it did, my brisket was burnt (see pic for reference). Service/Ambiance - Our server was friendly, however, the service was very slow considering it was not busy at all. It was difficult to flag our server down for any items we asked whichever staff passed by. Whenever we did ask the main server for anything, they never brought it. I hope this was just an off day because I would like to return to try other items.

Good food. There was a large holiday party at the time that seemed to overwhelm the restaurant a bit. Our waiter had to go check a few times to see when more water glasses would be clean before he could bring us water. Everything worked out and we were still able to have a nice dinner.

No wait on a Saturday night? Awesome! We decided on a table in the outside seating section. While waiting for our orders, we were served a complimentary giant Bavarian pretzel with honey mustard and cheese sauce made in-house. The pretzel was awesome, toasted and lightly salted on the outside then soft and chewy on the inside. Dipped in the cheese sauce was good, in the honey mustard sauce- better. Dipped in honey mustard then the cheese sauce? Sublime! almost inhaled half of that twisted evil-goodness. So we ordered the following: Prime Texas Style Smoked Brisket Half pound, smoked to perfection for 14 hours, melt in your mouth tender, you dont even need a knife. So juicy and seasoned well. Brisket and grits- good flavor although the texture and drier consistency of the grits threw me off. Scratch Brisket & Short Rib Sausage, so good. Loved the snap from the sausage casing. Waffle fries, surprisingly good portion. I mean for 5 bucks you get a whole tray of fries cooked to perfection. Add-on Hot Chicken Tenders (not on menu), juicy all white meat chicken breaded and deep fried had a really good spice but not too hot to handle. Mud pie, a perfect finish for a superb meal. Our Server Drew was especially attentive, gave excellent recommendations, and made sure our food was cooked to our liking and our drinks are re-filled. 5-star service. Located in the same area as the Santa Anita Mall, parking can be tough during rush hours. We drove around three times until we chanced upon someone leaving. Parking: Shared parking with all the business

The atmosphere was great, and the guy who led us to our table was great too. They sat us in a booth that was a bit cramped even though they saw that we had a stroller with a detachable carseat so I had to put my babys carseat on the booth seat and share the seat with my husband and his brother. Aside from that, our waiter is disinterested with serving us because we didnt order alcohol and we told him it was our first time there but didnt have any recommendations. After we ordered, it took 20 mins to get our food, which is fine because it was busy. He would pass by our tables a few times and didnt refill our drinks till almost the end of our meal. He spent time chatting up the table in front of us because they were ordering drinks. When he refilled our drinks, he didnt bother putting ice in the drinks. The coke was lukewarm. The saving grace was the food. The mountain high loaded fries with prime brisket were very delicious and flavorful. I got the smash burger and it was juicy and delicious. My mother in law got the shrimp tacos and it was so yummy with a kick of spice. Overall. We were impressed with the majority of our food. The prime brisket plate was literally the smallest serving of food I ever saw at a BBQ restaurant. It was 1.5 inch by 3.5 inch slab of brisket. Thankfully, we had ordered appetizers so my father-in-law had other food to eat. Overall, we may consider coming back a different day.

We usually eat at this restaurant and beside the slow service everything is fine. But when it comes to ordering food online from them, it s totally different. I ordered 3 times online. The first time when I picked up the food, they forgot to pack all my orders and I had to let them know that this is not my complete order. The second time, they packed the wrong salad and on the 3rd time I was totally disappointed when I opened the Cesar salad. The lettuce wasn t fresh at all, and the turkey that was supposed to be sliced neatly, was all apart and in small pieces ( it looks like to be taken from the left over of another plate) and the sauce wasn t fresh at all. Very disappointing and it was my last time either ordering online or dining in this restaurant.

My recent lunch experience at Craft by Smoke & Fire in Arcadia was nothing short of exceptional. From the mouthwatering Brisket Tacos to the unexpected act of generosity from our server, the entire meal was a delightful journey into the world of culinary satisfaction. I decided to try the Brisket Tacos, and I can confidently say they were nothing short of spectacular. The tender, smoky brisket was masterfully paired with fresh, flavorful toppings and a tortilla that was the perfect balance of soft and slightly crisp. Each bite was a symphony of tastes and textures that left me craving more. What truly elevated this dining experience, however, was the graciousness of our server. Not only was he attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, but he also surprised my brother and me with a complimentary shot. This unexpected gesture added a personal touch to our meal and exemplified the staffs commitment to making every guest feel welcome and appreciated. The ambiance at Craft by Smoke & Fire was both inviting and stylish, with a trendy yet comfortable interior that created the perfect backdrop for our lunch. The combination of natural light and well-thought-out decor added to the pleasant atmosphere, making our meal even more enjoyable. The attention to detail, both in the presentation of the dishes and the overall service, did not go unnoticed. The entire staff seemed genuinely passionate about their craft, and it reflected in the quality of the food and the warmth of the service. In conclusion, my visit to Craft by Smoke & Fire was a true gastronomic delight. The Brisket Tacos were a culinary masterpiece, and the complimentary shot from our server was a touch of unexpected kindness that left a lasting impression. If youre in the Arcadia area and looking for a restaurant that excels in both food and service, Craft by Smoke & Fire is an excellent choice. I left with a smile on my face and a genuine desire to return for more of their delectable offerings.

Short staffed at noon on a Saturday? Asked bartender when I first sat down if she would mind changing the channel to NFL Network. She said something incomprehensible as she was walking away from me. No update given and channel was never changed. Bartender only asked if I wanted another beer at end of meal. She walked by and got items from right in front of me multiple times but had no situational awareness. Craft Caesar salad was not a Caesar. The dressing was more like a vinaigrette and turkey was dry. Will look at a different option next time. Have been several times since they opened and has slowly been in decline.

The food was really bad. I ordered a side caesar salad and a brisket grilled cheese with waffle fries. The caesar did not resemble a caesar in the least. Besides their garnishment of pomegranate seeds, there didnt seem to be a typical caesar dressing. It looked like nothing and tasted like a faint mix of vinegar and water. I never send food back, but I took two bites and did. The server was nice enough to take it off. Speaking of the server, she seemed to be all by herself. This is Wed at 1pm. She is seating, serving, and bartending for the whole restaurant. Thats not right. My sandwich was terrible, too, but I was hungry and just ate it. A grilled cheese should have melty, delicious, stretchy cheese--not crinkled hard shreds. The waffle fries are good, thats it. I do not recommend the sandwich, even the pickles were weird and the bread was barely toasted. They need staff. I left cash and tipped extra because I felt bad.

I was really disappointed with our experience on a Friday night. We had a new server (who I am NOT blaming for any of this, just context), and management clearly did not know how to handle having someone new serving a 6-top. At two different points, someone in management came out to our table and spoke to us as if we were idiots because THEY ran out of macaroni and cheese and demanded subs from those of us who ordered it as if we were somehow supposed to know this ahead of time. They were bringing out the others food WHILE this conversation was happening, meaning those who had to sub something else waited almost 20 more minutes for their food. I can understand and forgive a backed up kitchen or short-staffed front of house, but that s no excuse to be quip with guests or not explain the situation and leave us sitting there for an hour waiting for food, a good half of which wasn t even hot when it arrived. Very little apologies from anyone about the situation, and we paid full price for everything we ordered, even though we had to sub things and wait for over an hour for some of the food to come out. We will not be coming back.

We went for dinner recently and sat there for almost an hour with only 1 appetizer and some bread. Restaurant was pretty empty so not that busy. The table next to us came after us, but already got their food before us. The waitress didnt even notice that nor did she notice we still hadnt gotten our food. We asked about our orders and apparently there was a ticket issue and we could see them trying to figure out what happened in the kitchen. Were hungry and obviously not happy so she said the manager would come talk to us. Except we could obviously tell he could not be bothered to talk to upset customers because he kept walking back and forth doing random things in the kitchen so after waiting for 5 mins, we left. Really disappointed in the service.

After following Craft Smoke and Fire INSTAGRAM for a while , their food looks so delicious and ribs are so juicy which can just melt in your mouth. So I decided ask few of my buddies to come try it out this restaurant. The wait for Friday night is understandable take a little longer and we waited for about 25minutes before we got our table. After we sit a while, nobody came to greet us or take order for drinks. Thought everyone is busy. So after about ten minutes finally we were asked for ordering drinks and appetizers, four of us didn t wait and told our waitress we want to place our orders, we all got the same 1.5 Ribs which looks so juicy on their IG. The food came out fairly quickly but the Ribs looks overcooked and very dark. On top of that , they didn t give us any utensils and napkins, we asked someone to bring it to us but no one has bring them to us , so we asked for the managers when she came over and gives us some jokes we don t understand, the manager got the utensils for us and left. When we try the food the ribs is so salty and hard , I had photos posted and you can make judge your own, there is no service and their food is so terrible , I don t understand why their rating is so high. Very disappointed and I do not recommend this restaurant! Thumbs Down

Multiple choices from sandwich, salads, meals, tacos, and burritos. Ordered happy hour wine, which came to the table 3 minutes before our meal which by this time was 20 minutes (probably should have ordered a beer) table near sat after us got their beers before my wine. Not to cool that a diner can be subjected to selective treatment. My meal was the brisket grilled cheese with Tons of bbq sauce which hide the flavor of the brisket. Don t get me started on the bland 3 cheese Mac n cheese. It needed some black pepper which wasn t on the table and couldn t get our server s attention to bring us some. If the shift manager would spend less time on updating the white board which has a bull s eye & throwing fuzzy balls that stick to this board. He should check in with the diners and see if they need anything. I would have appreciated that gesture. Our server was through interacting with us except for the bill. Our biggest issue was with our server who s face spoke volumes of indifference and irrational with our questions about the food items. That s unacceptable to be treated as your an problem customer. Will think 3 times before returning for a meal. Will go to the bar for happy hour wine /beer buy one get one free!!

I always see this place jammed pack for dinner with a long queue. We decided to book a reservation for Sunday Brunch for 11AM and watched the crowd roll in during the meal. They have a very limited extra brunch menu (in addition to their full menu) that included their take on a SoCal brunch: chilaquiles, chicken & waffles (Nashville hot chicken with a red velvet waffle), chicken fried steak, and a breakfast burrito. The brunch drink specials were their famous Bloody Mary for $8 or a bottle of brut sparkling wine & for $10 - we decided to go for the self-pour mimosa (which we prefer since only want to bubbles and my husband likes lots of O). The others in our group ordered a coffee and an Arnold Palmer. We started the meal with the Mountain High Loaded Fries with Nashville Hot Chicken (the other choices of protein was brisket or smash burger). The crisscut fries has their own delicious seasoning that went well with the hot chicken. To add to the savoriness, the cheese sauces really made this appetizer feel hardy. The coleslaw and b & pickles really helped cut through the richness of this starter. This was perfect to share to kick off brunch The coffee drinker ordered the the breakfast burrito with jalapeno cheddar sausage and a side order of the red velvet waffle. There was so much sausage in her burrito that she took half of the sausage out - finished the burrito like normal then ate the half of the sausage separately with the red velvet waffle (sweet, savory and a little spice). The Arnold Palmer drinker ordered the brisket grilled cheese. Its wild they grill the brisket, sauce and 3 cheese blend together, then roll the contents into the sandwich. He ordered the pickles on the side, which think was a mistake because he needed the crisp sweet & tart pickles to cut through the richness of the sandwich. His side was the Street Corn Named Desire that was pretty bomb (I had a bite). My husband and I shared the brisket Burrito and stockburger with a premium side brisket & grits. The brisket burrito was amazing! Im from Texas, so could taste the smoked flavor of the brisket and loved the leaner quality of the beef. The stockburger was ridiculously massive. It was so high that had to smash it down to a manageable size. The double smash burger had a nice crunch-char that went well with the smoky brisket and creamy mac and cheese. The brisket & grits were a league on their own - too heavy to be its own entree. The parmesan grits and savory chopped brisket was decedent and well with the $2 premium side upcharge. The ambiance was nice - the seats had nice padding in a charcoal color leather. Lots of warm wood elements. Very much a nice, contemporary barbeque restaurant than a chop shop in Lockhart. The place reminded me of Houstons (the restaurant chain, not the city). Our server was Ashley - very friendly, made great recommendations, and even surprised us with a complimentary shot. The bartender called it a Sunday Funday, she renamed it a Pink Flamingo - it tasted like X rated infused vodka and lemon-lime soda. Such a nice treat!

This place has great bbq, burgers, drinks and positive vibes. Our second time here, this time at the bar. They are pretty busy but if you can t get a reservation you can try to find open seating anywhere at the bar. If you have a larger party it s recommended to get one of the bigger platters to share, but if you are a smaller party you can t go wrong with the short ribs or brisket. The service team at the bar is really good and attentive. Had a fun time tonight. Love to have this option at the mall because it s one of the better sit down restaurants in the city.

The brisket was dry and on the bland side and the short rib had a ton of fat on it. As soon as we left my wife and I started to feel stomach discomfort. Now three hours later and the wife has thrown up multiple times and my stomach is still unsettled. Luckily our son has shown no symptoms. Out of all the food the things our son didnt really have was the coleslaw and mash potatoes. So we are thinking that one of those was what is making us feel sick. Needless to say we wont be going back. Worst part is we are suppose to go to Disneyland tomorrow and now we might have to cancel those plans of we dont start feeling better soon.

Finally a server took our drink order. Received nothing forever, had to ask for water. Food came out, still no silverware. Another server was running his tail off and brought some. Wish I had his name as he seemed to be going everywhere; white guy with glasses. All this kinda distracted from the food which was tasty, but a bit pricey. I m not one to complain but we were given no silverware and by the time they got it to us our food was cold. On top of that they didn t give us any bbq sauce or any kind of sauce for that matter (we ordered the Texas prime beef smoked short ribs). This is a bbq restaurant I should not have to ask for bbq sauce. On top of not being able to get silverware and bbq sauce until 20 minutes after our food was served, the smoked short ribs were small and super dry. We didn t even eat them. They weren t edible. And I m not a picky eater by any means. I didn t complain because that s just not who I am. Showed up 5 minutes before our reservation and was told it would be a few minutes before our table was ready but 20 minutes later it was ready. Had a seat and our waitress was prompt to get our drinks ordered. Those took about 15 minutes to show up which was surprising but they were delicious. The food took another 25 minutes to show up but our waitress apologized with some great vodka shots. The food was good and huge portions that made great leftovers. Unfortunate that the timing of everything overshadowed the quality of the food and drinks. Perhaps they will get better with time.

The mall and parking lot was PACKED. I was hesitant to stick around, Im glad I did. I parked on the top floor of the parking garage. My family and I waited for less than 5 minutes to get a table. The server, Stephen was great. He initially squared down when he introduced himself. I encouraged him to sit in the booth since hes quite tall. It was our first time there so he gave a brief overview of the restaurant and the menu. I got the Short rib and garlic/herb mash potatoes (which was delicious). My husband got the rack of lamb, good size portion. My daughter got 1/2 pound brisket and waffle fries. The fries was a very large portion (worth the money, enough for a group of 4 people). I got a pineapple/mango mocktail and enjoyed it! What was a total surprise...we got the brisket quesadilla---on the house. We were totally surprised and was not expected it. Stephen had stated that just prior to our order, a LARGE group order was placed and he apologized for the delay. To be honest, our family bonding, laughing and conversation was a great distraction; so I hadnt realized the delay in getting our order. I was visiting the area, I am hooked and would definitely make this place my go-to spot when Im back in the area.
