I ordered their employee top choice mango Jamaica with aloe and lychee jelly. The color and taste is not like mango （50% sugar) but more like Chinese bayberry 杨梅。 it’s otherwise refreshing and tasty, but this shop can get busy and I waited 20 mins for my drink.

Ordered an Iced Milk Black Tea with half sweetness and less ice. Generous size on the standard, funny wide cup shape though thankfully they do fit in the cupholders. Location is a bit secluded in a corner of the plaza. A neighboring store with a less than stellar drive thru may block traffic.

Such a lovely small Boba place. My favorite is #4 Bob's coffee w/ Honey boba and Vanilla Latte. It is sweet, but that is how I like my coffee. The service personale are always friendly, it makes you want to come back. This October they wore costumes, and they all looked nice. I love that they have promotions such as a free size upgrade or sometimes they give out other stuff. Very clean small shop, and they have a huge variety to choose from. Just be careful, it can be very addictive lol.

After a full day of activities, we were looking for something sweet. The initial plan was to head over to a local Baskin-Robbins, but we were delighted to find this Half and Half Tea Express next door. I haven’t been to one in quite some time, and their menu is quite intimidating; however, I always like to go with either what’s on their Top 10. This location had an Employee’s Choice, and I went with the Brown Sugar Milk Tea with Taro Pudding. I’d like to thank the employee that recommended this drink by placing it on this special menu. Great service + great taste = great tea.

One of my favorite milk tea place ever. Love the honey boba, soft,slightly chewy and hint of warm honey. Also the fresh tea is brew daily. Highly recommend, if you are ever in the area.

First time visiting, usually go to the Pasadena location. The person at the counter was so kind and helpful, lovely gal.
There was an odor inside the shop that smelled like old, raw fish. I don't know if that's what was causing the odor, but whatever it was, was very off-putting and offensive, I couldn't wait to receive my drink get outside. Definitely not interested in ordering food there.
As far as the drink, the Boba itself was sweet, fresh, so good. Unfortunately the boba was freshly hot at the bottom of my iced milk tea, causing the ice to melt fast and the drink to become diluted. By the time I got to my car, I had a large warm, watery diluted milk tea with hot boba. :(

SO. DAM. MAGICAL! Easy parking. In and out each time within 5 minutes. EVERY DRINK IS INCREDIBLE. I myself have been a devout HNH worshipper since middle school (10+ years!!!). Cashiers are the friendliest homies to chat up with or even ask about drink recommendations.
Every topping (boba, jelly, pudding) adds that perfect kiss to the top of a sweet drink to bring your taste buds to the big O. The boba is cooked so perfectly, the most sensual warmth, sweetness, and soft yet chewy texture in my mouth. For an extra special time, I highly recommend getting the ice milk, milk teas, or any smoothie (anything creamy in general). ;)
HNH has been just as, if not more, life-changing than the time my partner and I got Come, Dawn to help with our sleep issues.

Super friendly and fast service! MUCH smaller than the other location in Pasadena. This one has seats to wait, not for sitting and hanging around. Still, a good place to get a drink to go.

Afternoon of May 11, 2023, my sister and I came here to order some boba milk tea. When I arrived, an older man and a woman were talking on the phone and looking at the back panel menu. I walked in thinking they had finished ordering, but the cashier asked me to wait for them to order, so I waited. Those two talked on their phone while adjusting orders for 20 minutes for 4 cups of milk tea. Jesus, give me a break! When the cashier printed the bill and gave it to the man and woman. That meant it was my turn to order. When the cashier asked me to order, those people interrupted me and continued to adjust their order. This is ridiculous! The staff did not say anything, continued to edit the order for those two, ignored us, and let us wait another 10 minutes, so we decided to leave. This is an insult and belittling to the customer. Staffs here should be retrained on how to treat customers. Never come back here!

This boba shop is absolutely amazing, the drinks they offer are deliciously craveable.
They are extremely clean inside and the atmosphere is similar to that of a small town coffee shop. Furthermore, they make the drinks very efficiently, their service is mostly speedy, as compared to others. The menu is on the wall inside the establishment. If you do not know immediately what you want, go past the cashier and look on the wall to the left.

Adding boba is always a chewy treat. Hot or cold drinks. Cold drinks are always welcomed during warm weather and oddly satisfying when cold.

Our absolute favorite place!!! The tea itself is incredible, the boba is hot and good. We’ve never had a bad tea from here.

I do wish there was a boba that didn’t have honey for friends that have dietary restrictions.

Great classic place to get some delicious boba. Lesson learned from most recent visit: If you usually get less sweet in other places, maybe bump it up one level higher, as their drinks lose flavor and thus taste watery. Nonetheless, they have a solid variety of drinks. And their honey boba is nicely chewy and is tasty even if your drink is less sweet.

My favorite boba tea place. There are many new boba tea shops in SGV, Half and Half beats them all hands down.

The teas prepared here are especially delicious and full of tea flavors. Although other boba tea shops offer similar flavor and varieties, this shop makes the teas with great quality teas and the right brewing techniques. The bobas are extra chewy and soft.

To top it off, Half and Half uses crushed ice to make the tea extra cool and drinkable. I love their grass jolly and the yellow pudding to go in the tea. Slurping the puddings makes the boba tea drinking experience extra special.

This place is popular. There is always a long line here. In order to avoid the long line and save time, you can call in to place your order. By the time you get to the shop, your tea is ready for you to pick up.

Having lived in Arcadia most of my life, I Am angered and disappointed with the owners and customers of Half and Half. They have no trash can for their customers and TRASH!
Totally Disgraceful and disgusted with this!!! Either take responsibility or close down another one of your shops🙏

09/06/2020，更新。買了仙草蜜跟布丁旦伴奶，都是25%甜度，仙草蜜是沒有台灣的飲料店來的夠味，但能在美國喝到仙草蜜而且味道也不錯，在炎炎夏日非常解膩，算是推薦！布丁旦伴奶也不錯，奶茶本體表現不錯，不是只有甜味，搭配珍珠跟布丁整體味道很夠！附近台灣美食吃飽後順道買一杯是很享受的！

I order their boba milk tea and tea latte with boba all the time! The drinks are delicious and the sizes are very generous. For the regular size, it seems like it’s a large. It’s a bang for your buck!

So I’m usually the typical Thai Tea or Milk Tea with boba... but the past two times I cane to Half & Half I got Mango Green Tea with Honey Boba 🙃 dam dam dam it is so good... Get it without the Latte so it won’t be Latte-ish... that’s my style... you can never go wrong with any of the drinks here 😋 trust me!!!

I got the osmanthus drink and it was super strong and sweet. It took me a few days to finish because of how, if I must say, potent it was. I will try again because I've had better from other half and half, but.. this was my experience. Their grass jelly is delicious though.

I've tried this place 3 times and it has disappointed me three times. The first time I got a simple milk tea and the drink was okay but the boba was a little lacking like it was kinda old. Not a huge deal. I went back a few months later to give it a second shot. Ordered a lavender black milk tea with boba. They forgot the boba and I had unfortunately driven halfway home before I opened my drink. I was really angry and disappointed because it wasn't even busy when I ordered. I went back again to see if this place could redeem itself. (The only reason I even stop by is because it's next to a really good ramen restaurant). I ordered a taro black milk tea. The first sip was bad. For whatever reason, the drink wasn't strained and it still had taro pieces or whatever they use to make the drink in it. So every time you take even a small sip you end up eating something with the texture and taste of bits of rice. Will never be coming back. I went home and strained the drink to see what was in it. Included is a photo.

This Half and Half express is tucked away in the corner of this plaza. The store itself is pretty tiny compared to the other half and half locations, there are only a few benches which might be mostly for waiting for your drinks but there aren't any designed areas to sit down and drink with your party.

Their top 10 board is located on the wall on the left when you come in. They have green tea jelly again here which is awesome. I either get the red guava green tea with tea jelly and honey boba. The Bo's coffee is pretty good, it was the name that made it really intriguing and wanted me to try it. Also, the classic iced milk drink with honey boba and pudding is always a good choice.

They are cash only here.

This Half and Half Express is definitely a more convenient location than the one up on Foothill. Located in the CVS/Aldi plaza by Ramen Yukinoya and Baskin Robbin's, this boba shop is quite small - ideal for dropping by to get a drink before leaving. Parking is rarely a problem as the plaza doesn't get too busy.

Drinks are consistent and the price is pretty decent compared to what the other nearby independent boba shops are charging. Go-to drinks are usually the iced milk with boba, caramel, and pudding and the honey green tea with boba. I do feel like they don't give as much boba in their gigantic tub of a cup as other locations, but taste-wise, the flavors are always on point. The honey green tea tastes and looks like it's made with real, brewed tea. Not too sweet, not bitter - I can taste the green tea and the honey combination.

Their signature iced milk is always amazing - it's a pretty sweet drink with all the ingredients packed inside, but it's definitely refreshing on a hot day. Boba is always cooked amazingly well - just the right consistency with enough spring and chewiness. They also give a generous scoop of pudding into the cup, which I think is pretty great.

Overall, a pretty solid boba/tea location in Arcadia. The only downside is that there aren't tables/chairs (besides the ones they offer to waiting customers) where you can sit and enjoy your drink. But given the vicinity and how tiny the shop is, it's probably for the better. Workers are pretty nice - and they seem to know what they're doing to ensure that you don't spend too long waiting for your drinks.

tl;dr - Quality tea at a relatively cheap price. Cash only! They no longer offer plastic bags if you order a ton of drinks, so be prepared to pay an extra few cents if you need a bag. Recommend their popular iced milk or any of their other regular tea drinks!
