I tried their San Gabriel location so came here while I was nearby for some boba. The parking lot is a bit small but we managed to find parking. It was pretty full inside when we came but there was no line to order. They have a good amount of tables and a nice ambience for sitting and chilling with friends.

We got the green milk tea (4.99) with 50% ice and sugar. They ran out of matcha so we chose that inside. Too bad since their cream cheese matcha is good. The drinks were ready in less than 5 minutes. Their tea is very authentic tasting but also very strong. The 50% sugar made the drink more bitter than I expected, but it was still pretty good. A good milk tea still. I won't be getting half sugar next time though. The price is also very worth it for the drink size. It is hard to find milk teas for this price and size now. I would come again for the matcha cheese foam when I am in the area.

Bon Appetea Café provides a plethora of food and boba drinks that will satisfy your craving. It’s located with in a midsize plaza in Arcadia. They had to go under brand modification from Tapioca to Bon Appetea Café. Most of their tea drinks remained the same but added a few drinks to their menu. Similarly, new food items were added as well. Atmosphere was cool and relaxing. Interior was well lit, organized and spacious. Outdoor patio has similar vibe with good street view. Prices were fair. Staff were amiable and followed health protocol. Service was on point. Free Wifi available. Finding a parking space was easy. Overall, I always find this tea café reliable and I recommend it.

Ordered a taro milk tea with 75% sugar and less ice. Came out just right, sweetness and ice were great. The taste was refreshing and quite smooth. Cup size was decent amount. Pretty cozy interior with several chairs and long cushion seating, very chill place for socializing or tackling some work. And there's a wall too for photo ops.

I placed my order over the phone for a to-go pickup and the whole process was very smooth. I love their popcorn chicken. So flavorful and crispy. When they ask if you want it spicy, medium spice was so hot for me.

Their drinks were so refreshing and tasty. I love their honeydew juice with boba. Boba was sweet and had a great chewy texture. Honeydew tasted so fresh especially with the foam bits on top. Will definitely stop by here again to try out the rest of their menu.

Updates: the spicy level and frying time on appetizers needs to be monitored! The tempura was fried too long and wayyyy too much spicy powder just for "mild" (thus ruined the food 🫠)

Used to be Tapioca Express but the menu doesn't change much 😉
This is my childhood snacks place when I used to walk home from the high school. Same good old popcorn chickens and fried snacks with boba drinks🧋
Better deals to get the combo so you can get a drink and bento box (choices of meat with minced meat rice, a tea egg & vege) with it 🍱
I hope this place stays in Arcadia as long as it can because it has history that's for sure 😉

Been here a couple times, drinks are either really sweet or water down. What I mainly don't like is the IDC svc, it's just bad. plus they don't speak English?? Will prob not comeback!

There small boba is the best i’ve ever tasted!! Also the popcorn chicken and takoyaki are delicious too! The best thing is they’re pet friendly so you can go in there while walking your dog!

I miss the old store, Got two boba oolong tea and it taste like water, no smell of tea or milk, and not cheap almost $6 dollar each. Disappointed, hope you guys make it better.

This is my first time coming here. This place looks clean and it is not big. It is a self served restaurant so there isn't any service. This is a place for people to have a quick meal. It is not designed for you to spend a lot of time eating there. The food tastes really good.

Ordered the Guava Green Tea (which is their recommended drink) and it was just not good. Both the tea and the guava flavoring are not strong. I can taste something but it was not guava flavor, it had this weird taste that I, personally, did not like. It didn't have that guava fragrance at all.

I asked if I can change the drink, because I didn't enjoy it and they were very kind about that. I got a mango green tea instead. Even though the mango was not the best, it was still better tasting than the guava. The mango was definitely not a puree, it was a syrup (a very artificial syrup) and while you can taste the tea -- it wasn't good. it didn't have that golden clean finish.

We came for Boba and snacks. They never disappoint.. I always get the mango yogurt blended, it's a 10 out of 10. We also ordered the popcorn chicken, sweet potato fries and green beans.. there was plenty to share among 3 of us. 2 thumbs up, waaaay up!!!

Pork Chop Rice used to have stewed eggs and cooked veggies. They just replaced with cold corns! What a let down!

Only tried the Milk Tea and Passion Fruit Tea so far, they tasted pretty good for their price with responsible size. Will return again to try out the other drinks and the meals.

I had the three cup chicken with rice and vegetables for dinner. It was pretty good for the price. I also had the mango cream. The mango cream was not was not what I had expected. It was more like a slush.

If I’m in the area I would definitely return.

Too bad the Tapioca Express closed. This place replaced it. Doesn't have the menu items I like from the old place. The drinks are ok. The boba is ok as well. The popcorn chicken is spicier, which I like. But I'm not coming back. Gotta find a new place.
