101 Gourmet Hotpot is an All you can Hot Pot that offers six soup bases such as Sukiyaki, authentic chongqing mala, Tomato , fish maw chicken and spicy and sour special which is originated from Hainan. Our restaurant caters to those who crave premium all-you-can-eat shabu shabu at an affordable price. Freshly cut meat including Wagyu beef and vegetables are prepared daily along with fresh seafood including oysters, shrimp, fish and abalone. Soda and ice cream are also unlimited. We strive to offer great food and exceptional service.
So happy to have a great new hot pot place in Arcadia! 101 Pot has fresh ingredients, excellent service, and great value. Our server was attentive throughout the whole meal, seating us immediately and thoroughly explaining the menu. The self-serve bar has a wide range of veggies, tofu, noodles, fish balls, and more, plus a sauce bar to create your perfect dipping mix. I recommend the lamb shoulder and pork belly from the premium menu ($32.95) and the wagyu and abalone from the prime menu ($48.95). The jelly golden chicken broth was my favorite and so unique—comforting and full of collagen. The meal includes unlimited food and delicious ice cream with six flavors. We were so full after the meal but the ice cream was too good to pass up.
There's a parking lot in the back or street parking, and a 15% lunch discount from 11:00am to 4:00pm. Already planning my next visit back with more friends!

We ordered the prime tier and have tiger shrimp, oyster, abalone, wagyu, etc. They are so fresh! I like how you can choose 2 soup base for yourself, I got the chicken soup and tomato soup base. I like the tomato soup base more.
You can also add noodles, veggies, fish ball in it in their self serve bar. I think it’s a great value because of the abalone! I love their chewy potato noodles.
There’s parking in the back, overall good hot pot place!

A decent place for AYCE hot pot with a lot of wagyu options. I like their self service bar - would be even nicer if they have corns too! The drinks and snacks are included in the price. We had the prime option which has extra soup and more wagyu cuts. I think the soup is lighter than most places here which I really appreciate because it’s healthier. The meat was sometimes a bit hard to chew either because of the cut or because they’re too thick. It turns out that the lamb was my favorite. Ice cream was good too.

Just had a fantastic hot pot experience at 101 Pot in Arcadia, and I gotta say, it's a hidden gem! The service was absolutely top-notch. Our server was attentive, helpful, and always there to make sure our broth was bubbling and our chopsticks were full.
The quality of the ingredients was excellent. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We had a variety of vegetables, sauces, and noodles, and each bite was a delight. For the price, they provide a wide selection that makes it worth every penny.
Don’t forget to check out their ice cream station in the back before you leave!

A good quality hot pot spot is hard to come by these days! 101 hot pot has AYCE wagyu and seafood for under $50! Such a great price for the quality of meats you get. The service is amazing! The servers are so sweet and always were checking up on us to make sure we were okay. They also had a variety of fresh veggies and a sauce bar to make your own sauce. At the end, you can grab some ice cream which is also AYCE and be sure to try their lychee ice cream! So yummy! For the price, I think it’s definitely worth trying!

The beef, black tiger shrimp, mussels, and abalone were all amazing—way better than I expected. Drinks are free unless you want some alcohol. There’s a self-serve station with free sides like fish balls and leafy greens. They even have free ice cream! Overall, I totally recommend it!

Me and the husband went here for the first time. We chose the premium as we didn't like any of the meats or broths in the prime option. I ordered the sukiyaki broth and the native chongquin Mala. The Mala was very spicy as soon as I got it. I removed all the chilies, and it was still spicy but delicious. I started mixing both broths to balance spiciness, and it was delicious. They have a self-serve buffet with many options, and the meats are ordered at the table. My favotire was the pork belly, shrimp and the fish filet. My mouth is watering just thinking about it 😅. Their service was great, for sure we're going again this weekend 😊

I had dinner there two days in a row, yesterday and today. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, especially the seafood and vegetables. The vegetables were particularly tender. The restaurant and its counters were very clean, and the service was excellent. I hope they can introduce a membership program or a points system with more discounts, which would make me visit even more frequently. I forgot to mention the ice cream the coffee-flavored ice cream is the best!

The quality of wagyu and oysters is really bad. At this price point, the quality is really embarrassing. The service is even worse. The waiters are not bad, but some people really should be trained collectively. If you dont want customers to eat, dont open ayce. If the time for last call is not up, click the last button. The first time I saw the buffet was within an hour and last call was made.

Went there on Father s Day weekend. The place is definitely short staffed. Only two waitresses serving a full house. Long line of people waiting outside for a table. Drinking fountain was empty the whole time we were there as there wasn t anyone available to refill the fountain the stove only has two heating levels, the low heat option wasn t strong enough to boil the soup while the high heat option was too strong and would make the soup splatter.. meat quality was mediocre. The only highlight was the unlimited abalone, oyster and shrimp if you choose the more expensive menu option. Will not come back.

Indeed, I was dining alone for lunch today. 101 Pot was a place I saw online some weeks back and wanted to try. It helped that the weather was so cold, too. Finally stepped in today, and Im so glad I did! They do use paper plates and bowls, so if youre looking for a more formal setting, this might not be it. I got a bunch of oysters, abalone, mussels, and beef. Although Ive been to many other hot pot places in SGV, none of them offer seafood as they do here, with the exception of just fish fillets. Since I had a choice of two broths, I ordered the sweet and sour and tomato. Whats more, I loved how flavorful both of them were. I did not even need to add anything else to either. My only complaint was that the pot is a bit too small to cook many different dishes efficiently, but I guess thats the style they were going for. I really hope that this place survives. Of course, I would love to come back if craving hot pot and seafood. It was a smart idea to put it in El Monte because this surrounding neighborhood doesnt really have too much Asian food. EDIT: I have returned after a long break, and I am so impressed. 101 moved to their new location across from Arcadia Library. They have actual plates now! The whole joint looks and feels so much classier than their old one!

Had a phenomenal experience at this location. They had a generous window for their lunch timing with a great price. My girlfriend and I had never had hot pot before and the staff were so helpful in explaining the process. Newbies welcome! There were many types of meat to choose from, including beef, lamb, pork and chicken as well as seafood. You can customize your cooking broth, but be careful about the spice levels. When we went, all drinks were included at no extra cost. Japanese soy milk, soft drinks, water and tea. Dessert is also included! Self serve ice cream with 6 flavors!! Honestly just such a refreshing experience overall. Im usually annoyed after leaving restaurants feeling like I overpaid for bad food, but not here. According to the server who was helping us, they are even lowering their lunch price soon so its an even better value. If youre looking for a place to eat, this is the one!!!

I grew up eating hot pot and have been to a number of restaurants over the years. 101 Pot is definitely my new top spot, as this place has it all! They have unlimited milk tea, lemon tea, sodas, an exquisite sauce bar and an extensive amount of veggies, meatballs, noodles and more to choose from! They even have some prepared hot foods, including fried rice, red bean sesame balls and egg rolls. Each person is given their own individual pot on a built-in stovetop that can hold two different types of broth, which is nice for more variety. They have two tiers to choose from and both are reasonably priced considering all thats included. We went with the higher tier, as we love seafood and also wanted to try the wagyu cuts. The wagyu chuck cross, wagyu brisket, wagyu chuck eye, tiger shrimp, oyster, green mussels and abalone were all amazing! Highly recommend ordering multiples of each and cooking the wagyu cuts in the sukiyaki broth for a hint of sweetness! I also really liked the jelly golden chicken broth. To cap off your meal, they have a self-serve ice cream station with tons of different flavors of Fosselmans! On the way out, we also grabbed some Andes mints to go, which was truly the perfect sweet ending. Both the adults and kids in our party really enjoyed this place! The service was great and I really appreciated how clean they maintained all the different bar areas, as I regularly saw staff wiping off counters and restocking containers. If you like hot pot or have never tried it before, you must experience 101 Pot! Parking: Parking is super easy, as there is a private lot behind the restaurant! Kid-friendliness: Super kid-friendly! Kids love the unlimited soda and ice cream!

I had a very unpleasant experience at this restaurant. The service were extremely slow, taking over 40 minutes to deliver only one of the five meats ordered. The seafoods took awhile to arrive, also the dipping sauces from the self-serve bar tasted rotten. The cleanliness of the place was appalling with flies everywhere, creating a highly unhygienic dining environment. Most alarming of all was seeing food intended for customers placed on top of a trash can before they served, which is an unacceptable practice in any restaurant. Unfortunately, the terrible quality of food and lack of cleanliness have left me feeling terribly ill, with diarrhea as I type this. If you value your health and time, I strongly encourage you to avoid dining here. For the business owner, please make sure the employees are will trained before opening up the restaurant, and be respectful to the customer.

Such a fantastic lunch experience at 101 in El Monte. Decided to finally check out this place for some lunch on Sunday and glad I made it in. Quality food & great service always make for a great meal. Went with the premium option which of course gets you the premium meat & seafood option. If you want a good contrast of flavors I definitely recommend you get the split pot with sukiyaki & the mala which worked out so well. Very good sweetness & enough salt savor flavor are great for cooking your proteins in. Add in the other soup, it was a good amount of spice but not overbearing. Of course had to order all the premium meats & they were not a letdown. Sliced paper thin, nice marbling & cooks in no time. The shrimp pre-skewered makes for easy cooking. Youve gotta order the proteins (meats & seafood) from the server & you help yourself to the self-serve area where youll find the usuals (veggies, fish balls, noodles, sauces, etc.). Be sure to get some wagyu fried rice. It was better and fresher than I thought itd be and pairs well with of course more meat. Ended the meal with some ice cream which basically tasted like Thrifty ice cream, which is a good thing. Service was exceptional and really makes me miss how some places just dont have customer service anymore. Zoe (or Zoey?) was so friendly and attentive the whole time. I just loved her overall personable demeanor and she made sure we were never without food. Its much smaller than I thought but I think thats because I had the size of All That Shabu or Shabuya in mind. But I kinda think the smaller size works better in terms of service & timing. Nice, clean interior which is always appreciated. I could be wrong but I dont think they have a parking lot, but even so, I found street parking east to right out front. When in El Monte or nearby and you have an appetite, be sure to check them out.

The hot pot here is really delicious and there is a self-service area. Our lunch was affordable and delicious. We chose Premium and the Lunch special with a 15% off discount. Sukiyaki is suitable for shabu-shabu, and the original pork bone soup is suitable for blanching vegetables and drinking. The Prime Angus beef and Lamb shoulder are both good, the White shrimp is big and fresh, and the fish fillet tastes delicious. The service staff are very active and friendly. They will take the initiative to introduce the dining environment and methods in advance. The food is served very quickly and there is no need to wait for a long time like other hot pot restaurants. However, the only drawback is that there are a little few side dishes and hot pot ingredients.

Perfect spot for literal AYCE HOTPOT! For 32.99 you get unlimited meat and seafood on their selection! Add a little bit more and around 50, you get the wagyu selection and other additional seafood! We chose the 32.99 menu cos we were ok with pork belly and brisket, and fish and shrimp! Nevertheless, everything is fresh and taste high quality. I love that they included drinks to the package, so much better than have to pay for it separately! The build your own sauce is great, and I like mine with garlic, chilli pepper, scallions, sesame sauce, shacha sauce and soy sauce! We need rice in our life and the wagyu beef rice is an amazing pair to all the meat and seafood but its also really good on its own! Also another amazing thing to add is kids under 100 cm eat for FREE, and 50 percent for kids from 100-135 cm! Best thing about 101 for me is the UNLIMITED ICE CREAM? With so many flavor choices?(INTERNALLY SCREAMING )

Theres a new ayce hot pot spot in the SGV and heres why I thought it is worth visiting: Food: I thought the food was great! The ingredients were fresh and the meat was very good. I chose the prime option that gives you endless American Wagyu beef and seafood such as tiger shrimp and abalone. This is probably the first spot Ive ever had that gives you the option of all you can eat with abalone. Many places Ive been would have abalone as a limited item where I would be able to order 1 order of it. If you arent familiar, abalone is a valued Chinese delicacy that is usually quite pricey. The fact that the seafood was also fresh and didnt have a fishy taste made the food worth it in my opinion. Service: I think because this spot is still quite new, it wasnt too busy and it wasnt hard for me to be able to get the food I need in the self serve area. Their self service included drinks, greens, sauce and so much more. In addition my server, Daisy, was super attentive. She made sure I had enough soup in my pot and always came by when my tabled looked a bit empty to see if I wanted additional items. Lastly, this spot is quite small, but I love that it is clean. If you are someone who can eat a lot, I think you can definitely get your moneys worth with their high quality food.

So excited to discover a new all-you-can-eat hotpot place in El Monte. I decided to choose the Prime option for $48.95/person. I really think this was worth it because I was able to choose some high quality seafood (abalone, oyster, shrimp, mussel) and US wagyu meats (chuck cross, brisket, and chuck eye). I also enjoyed the self-serve bar where I could choose my own vegetables, meatballs, crabmeat, and sauces. They also provided fresh made tea and ice cream for appetizer. Overall, this dining experience was totally worth it!

Found this little shabu spot around the area - although it s small the food selection is great! I love that you can choose two different broths at once and all of their ingredients are fresh. I opted for the prime option which was so worth it. You get unlimited seafood (abalone was so good) and wagyu meats - definitely worth the price. Their Jasmine flavored soy milk is one of my favorite drinks! Love that it s soy milk based. Overall a great spot if you want to splurge and treat yourself to some great quality shabu!

My recent visit to this all-you-can-eat hot pot restaurant left much to be desired. The service was sluggish, and the staff seemed disinterested. The worst part was the quality of the ingredients; the food did not taste fresh, and some items even seemed borderline stale. Overall, a disappointing experience that falls short of the expectations for an all-you-can-eat hot pot place. I wont be returning anytime soon.

I liked the decor of the place. It was upscale looking. The choices of Wagyu was really nice. Usually they don t have this option in all you can eat. They also have abalone which is also rare at an all you can eat. For broth you get to choose two broths! They had a lot of stuff at the serve yourself bar including fishballs yumm. Service was really good too. Very attentive.

If you are dining alone, this is the place. Having more than a table for a party of 4 may be a challenge given personal pot/induction stove setup. There are two pricing/meat choices. $30 and up. Each meat order is a single serving. There is no ready to eat food available (except ice cream) - relative to other places on Valley Blvd a couple miles west - you have to cook before having a bite. Didnt care much for the drinks. The sides- meatballs, yam bundle, vegies, fish squares, are there self service. Satay, peanut, among other spicy hot sauces available. Price is fair for the lunch service. I wont come here for the regular price. Beef + lamb are ok. Skip the chicken. Fish was great. Service was great probably because for a good portion of a weekday lunch, I was the only customer. Be prepared to face the tipping question on the spot as you pay with the mobile payment at the table in the presence of the wait person. The house spicy soup base was decent (I had to remove the oil, too much). Sukiyaki was really sweet-literally (not a bad thing). The individual pot idea is great for small gatherings where things boil quickly and you dont have to switch utensils because the small plates of meat for me its just one scope and cooks it all. There was no label on the ice cream so take your best guess.

Good value for money. Food was fresh, plus free drinks and unlimited ice cream

Excellent food, great service. Checked up on us frequently and made sure we never ran out of meat. The staff was very friendly. There were a ton of options to try, and everything was top-notch. Make sure to leave room for ice cream, which they make in-house. Dietary restrictions: One member of our party is allergic to shellfish, and the waitress made sure to point out what was safe for her to eat. Kid-friendliness: Kids under a certain height eat at a discount, and there were plenty of options to choose from to suit any preferences. The ice cream was obviously a big hit.

I ate here with my friends and it tasted good, mainly because the meat was very fresh and there was really fish maw in the bottom of the fish maw pot.
