The bowls were drenched in some sort of bleach? I think I almost puked inhaling this. When I asked if I can get some tissues to wipe it off, they ignored me. So I ended up having to clean it with water myself. I still smelled the bleach when I was eating lol.

Waitress was rude, she kept giving us side eye when we asked whether we can change to instant noodles. So terrible I guess?

One of the wife favorite eating spots especially for cold days. We frequent this location a couple times a month.
Your best bet for no or short wait is weekday lunch. Followed by weekday dinner. Weekends are generally busy. As you can guess, winter time or cold days are more busy as well.
Also, Lunch order comes with a free drink.

This is the place to go out of all of the other boiling point locations. Very friendly and welcoming staff. The service was great and they are very attentive to your needs. They don’t argue with you when an order was wrong and they correct it quickly. The manager in charge is very friendly and approachable. Overall we had a great experience here and will definitely be returning. If you’re in the neighborhood I would recommend you give them a try.

My go to comfort food! I always order the All Beef, non-spicy. I tried the spicy version once, and it was too hot for me. I also add fried tofu skin. I like the Soy Garlic sauce.

The staff is friendly. They charge 45 cents if you ask for a small container to take some sauce home.

I and my friend ordered to go, and I saw there’s a hair in her bowl, which doesn’t belong to any one of us. My friend has really long dark hair, mine is really short. The hair we found was shoulder length and somewhat brown. We called the store and they said they could only make us a new one. Who wants anything more from them after seeing something so disgusting, and they said we can only call customer service for the refund, which we have to wait till (we ordered ob Saturday) Monday when customer services is working.

This is ridiculous that the store cannot make refund directly to the customer. they were making excuses that the front desk who worked in the earlier shift has logged out of the system, therefore the money has been put into the system and not able to refund…. my first time hearing about it.

Definitely not coming back.

Great hotpot location in Downtown Arcadia! The food is great, they have deals (last visit free tea) and plenty of parking on the street. However, the wait can be somewhat long but worth it.

I recently visited this restaurant, and I have to say the experience was incredibly disappointing. The food was decent, but the attitude of the server, Sabrina, completely ruined the lunch. My friend arrived about 15 min earlier than me and told another server one more person would be a little late, and they seemed to be fine with that.
When I arrived and was ready for order, she said I cannot order with my friend's table, it was already closed and I needed to line up for the table again. It is hard to believe customer cannot order additional food after taking the first time order. And if they do have the rule, the staff should explain clearly when my friend was ordering food. After we checked again with another male server, she came again and asked what we would like to add to the order, so clearly, there's no such a rule of no additional food and I don't know why she came up with that.

She gave off a clear vibe that she couldn't care less about providing good service. I understand that everyone can have a bad day, but Sabrina's attitude was unacceptable. If this is the type of service they allow, I won't be returning. It's a shame because the food wasn't bad, but I can't justify going back when the staff treats customers like they're a burden.

I brought my family to dinner at 13:47 on October 3, 2024. The service quality and attitude of the waiter Frank can be described as garbage. I am not sure whether the guests can just jump in the queue after signing in and going out for a walk when they come back. Is it reasonable? Rubbish

Really tasty and great value. Shout out to Victoria, she took care of our large table and made sure we were all happy. There was a very rude customer outside while we were waiting for our table and she was kind and nice the whole time.

Fun place to eat with friends. I love the variety in a single pot and how big it is! If you are not super hungry, you can share a bowl with another. I ordered the Taiwanese Spicy and the flavor is bold enough, yet not too crazy (well I am Thai so I might have a high heat tolerance). What I appreciate the most though is the variety of ingredients, in my cases, the pork intestine and pork blood. It is quite fulfilling to eat those authentic and difficult-to-cook items like that. In any event, we enjoy this place and would love to come back. Oh if you come here early, you can avoid the crowd.

I love this all in one hot pot place. Their combinations are just right with the right flavors mixed in. Make your own dipping sauce for the contents, and it takes it to another level! My go-to hot pots are the lamb, beef, and milk curry. I also like the house special. Theres lots of stinky tofu and pig blood cubes in it! Yum! If you come to during lunch time, its cheaper and comes with tea, black or green. The prices have gone up a lot due to the crazy inflation, but its still one of the best deals around these days for a fulfilling, tasty hot pot combo! Come early and avoid the busy times, or youll wait a long time here!

Definitely never coming back to this restaurant or any other of their locations. First of all , the food is terrible . Second, I literally stood in front of the cash register to pick up an online order and the person operating the register didn t even look up at me and continued finicking with the computer. Didn t say ill be right with you , no hello, nothing. Furthermore, at least 6 other employees didn t acknowledge my existence whatsoever. I stood there for 5 minutes before saying hello? I m here to pick up an online order . Terrible customer service.

I tried to have to-go order through the phone and I called 4times,nobody take the phone, so I drove there. When I order at the counter, I saw that the phone was keep ringing but the waitress just ignored it. If you don t want customer by phone, please tell the customers.

We made a reservation for 5 people and then we waited for 20 minutes outside. We couldn t take it anymore so we went to a local store. When we got back it was about 1:14 pm and we were just standing inside for about 15 more mins until my friend complained to a waiter we were here for the reservation. Then the waiter came to get us at 2:26. She said that we had to leave because we were 10 minutes late for our reservation. We then explained that we were here at 2:14 but she said we had no proof and we had to leave. I looked inside the restaurant and there were 2 tables of 6 vacant. But we were still kicked out because as the waiter said we were late. So in summary, the waiters needs to pay more attention to their customers and not just look outside the window to see if they are late or not. I hope this doesn t happen to anyone else.

First time trying this place. Was okay. Plenty of food, just not to my taste. Chairs were uncomfortable and tables too small for comfortable eating. (there is a heat unit in the center and not much room around it for bowls. Dont know if I would go back.

Had the beef soup, the meat were good, and while the soup was moderately hot, the heat added no actual flavor. The broth was not impressive. The beef soup certainly wasnt bad, but it wasnt amazing, and its not inexpensive.

I used to like this place, Ella is a great server and is always great at getting you right! Unfortunately I will no longer be returning here since not all the employees are as great. Deborah alone has no good work ethic and overall her customer service skills are lacking. Maybe it had more to do with my ethnic background because I was constantly getting overlooked even after asking multiple times for minimal requests.

The hotpot is some of the best casual hotpot, especially when youre in a mood for something simple and very decently priced. They serve the hotpot already made, so you cant really customized it but you can add more on top of it. While this is quite a downside, the price for each hotpot selection is more than fair enough to add whatever you desire to it after that.

Ridiculous and quite expensive! You get served a shallow dish of boiling-hot liquid which is mounted on a heater so as to be right under your chin! Worse still, many of the items require cutting-up in order to eat - there were lots of folks wearing hot soup!

Ate here for international family day. Whole family enjoyed the boiling bowl of assorted delights on a pot. I strongly recommend you order Scallion Gravy rice. It was amazing considering we ve tasted many different types of fried rice variant out there. Would come back!

DELICIOUS!!! I was recommended this restaurant from family and I do not regret it. I cant wait to go back. Its about $20 a person after taxes and tip. My husband and I each had one and we ordered one for our 2 young kids to split. It was more than enough food. The staff is very willing to please when asked, even though they may be a like deer-in-the-headlights look. Great food, good service. Highly recommended!

Boiling Point is always a must during the winter and literally during every other season. I did a phone call order and picked up during ~6PM. Was in and out in less than 2 minutes!

Decent atmosphere when I picked up the food, the manager was nice and let us double check our orders for a large takeout order. There was some minor complains like too much vegetables and not enough meat and the price is somewhat pricy

The restaurants hours is super unreasonable. We were turned away twice already during open hours. The staff has been rude each time either pointing at signs and not speaking to us or saying that they can not take since they have a hard stop at 8 (this was at 7pm). Even though no one was waiting outside, and there was no way to look at reservations.

Ordered the popular dish (beef) and it did not disappoint. Really rich in flavor! They have so many different kinds. Would love to try a different dish next time (maybe the seafood).

I ordered Uber Eats but they didn t give me a drink! The driver said that the waiter was too busy and didnt install it for me... I dont think this is the reason! Even if the driver forgets to pick it up, should the front desk remind him? It s no longer a lack of things... I m too lazy to call you and leave a negative review for your leaders to take a look at! See if your leader will be responsible and read the comments and then hold a meeting for you!

Boiling Point (located in Arcadia) never disappoints. Unfortunately, weve had to order for take out due to the situation. Always flavorful hot soup with fresh ingredients. I wish only the best for them to get through this pandemic. Lets look forward to sitting in the ice cold room of their dinning floor while slurping up that hot pot in the coming spring of 2021!

Came here at 7:30pm and the wait was only 10 minutes. Staff was friendly. I requested to sit in the back of the restaurant instead of by the front door because it was cold - request accepted! Ordered beef hot pot and not spicy. Came out tasty! It was great for a cold night! Minor improvement on service as I requested to add more soup and fire for my hot pot. A waitress responded, but she walked towards another table to take ordered. I had to ask another waitress to help me. Not a deal breaker. Will come back again!

Parking: almost not a problem. The place can be very busy, but Ive never had any problems with parking Food: they have multiple selections of hot pots. Meat: beef, lamb, seafood, veggies Customer service: professional. Well trained You must always check in first. Theres a check-in machine outside the place, by the entrance. Punch in the number of your party and your phone number to get a placement. They have lunch specials too. Pls check the menu before going. When will Google stop asking me to add a review?! But here it is anyway! Enjoy!

Small boiling point location. Same concept as all the other ones. I normally get the beef one but thought I d tried the seafood one which surprisingly was quite good and refreshing. Service was average, I didn t get served water until I had to ask for it.
