El Pollo Loco

I have been to many Pollo Locos in the past few months. This restaurant (hands down) is the best one in the area. I visit this restaurant pretty much every weekend. The sauces are great, the employees are amazing too. Thanks for always being a great example of a good clean restaurant.

Avacado is BLACK, the lettuce taste like rotten vegetables, and the workers have a horrible service attitude, will literally roll their eyes when you ask for more sauce. Just shows how much this place has fallen, the food is not fresh at all, I use to really love this place, coming here every week.

One of the El polo locos in our neighborhood. During the pandemic, this place is very popular with drive through food order. Long lines with long wait. The foods is decent and the family meal deal is great to keep us fed during this crisis. We also want support our local business by making take-out orders. Let's stay safe and fight this virus together. I am doing my part now.

I came for lunch on a Friday around noon and the line was out the door. But the employees were super fast and it didn't take long at all to order and receive my food. Hot and fresh, with great service. Thank you! I'll be back.

Two entrances one off of Santa Anita and the other off of duarte Rd. Walk in and drive up and go no drive thru at this location. Nice spacious interior chicken was delicious service was fast and friendly rather quiet

4/15/23 6:05PM. Arcadia, Ca., Store #3465. After looking at the menu and higher prices, I could tell this was a franchise location (confirmed by the cashier). Employees and service were good but the double chicken tostada salad I ordered, did not have double chicken. I used a mailer/flyer coupon for the double chicken tostada ($7 coupon versus $10.79 menu board), which helped justify the lack of chicken. Would eat here again, but with coupon and caution of what I order.

this employee was rude to me and my friends. Me and my friends were joking saying we could sit in the baby seat and her came out and look at one of my friends and said “you’ll break that if you sit in that, i know you will,” and kept on talking about it, like if you told us not to mess with it that’s fine but we were just joking. Then he left to the storage room or whatever then came out and said “i work here i could kick you out👹” Like okay bro? i never questioned if you work here. THEN he was cooking touching the chicken or whatever and NO GLOVES so musty.

I ordered from the El Pollo Loco app for curbside service. When I got home, I noticed the churros that I ordered was missing. I looked on my receipt to verify if I was charged and the charge for the churros was on the receipt for $2.29 (not including sales tax). I called the store during business hours to notify them of my missing item as soon as I verified my valid claim, but there was no answer. I made 3 more attempts and each time it went to a voice mail that was full. Everything else was good including how fast they brought out my order to my car.

Update: 5-Star revision
After notifying Hector Santillana, the manager of the El Pollo Loco at this location, he said that he would leave a note with the employees to give me the churros that were missing from my order that I had complained about. When returning about a month later, I gave the employee my name and told her that Hector Santillana left a note to give me the churros that I didn't get. She checked in the office and confirmed of such a note, so I got a double order of churros. Thank you for correcting a human error.

It was good as always. except that there are to many homeless coming into the pollo loco in West Covina Ca. on Vincente & west covina pkwy and there getting drinks from the machine and they know they can so a few come in every so often when we dine in. But that may stop because who knows how dangerous it may get one day. Not wishing on that at all. Hope they get some type of security for the area

Purchased (2) $11 8 Piece Leg & Thigh Special, which was really small and dry. We purchased these around 330pm and was probably sitting around since lunchtime. Apparently, they now limit the quantity of prepared packets of house salsa and guac sauce. They gave me flour when I ordered corn tortillas. This Arcadia Santa Anita/Duarte Rd was our GO-TO El Pollo Loco, but NO MORE. Quality and Value has sadly declined in recent weeks.

This would be my 2nd time going. The food was good. Clean & fast service. The only complaint I have was the cook is very rude. He got mad because the 1st time I ordered only 8 tostadas shells by themselves. Witch I've done plenty of times at other El Pollo Locos. Purchase price was $1 only. But, he told the lady up front oh no, don't give it. She mumbled something, so he in up charging me $3.00 because he wanted me to order more stuff. The 2nd time i went he must've remembered me because he was giving dirty looks. Not professional at all!!
Only reason y I would go here is because it's very close to where I live.
