Little Joe's Fresh Mex

Finally tried this little gem and was not disappointed. We ordered the taquito combo plate, which was delicious, loved the fresh guacamole! We also got pozole to take home and it was equally sumptuous! Also tried their jamaica...it was strawberry jamaica and I absolutely loved the flavor...it wasn't too sweet, the way some places make it. The little restaurant itself is very quaint, clean, and is tastefully decorated. There's also sidewalk seating, with several tables and umbrellas. This place has a really nice authentic vibe, I'll be returning for sure! Oh, and a shout out to the staff, they are very friendly!

Great food & great service! I got to try the Caldo de Res & Albondigas and both were amazing. And the soup comes with a side of rice! The staff were so friendly & accommodating as well. Definitely coming back.

Haven't been to lil Joe's in years. I was craving taquitos and they are literally down the street, making it convenient to pick up. The taquitos were delicious! They were filled with meat and the guacamole was plentiful. 😋 Definitely going to be a regular. 👍🏻

Pretty sure they use Rosarita refried beans straight from the can. Got their burrito. Had high expectations from the reviews, but my experience was a let down.

I heard a sad rumour that something happened to the owner. I went by the place to see if they were still open and front door and one of windows is boarded up. This was my go to place for masa for tamales. I pray that the owner and family are okay 🙏😢

Best small location for Mexican food in the area. Only a few tables to sit and eat but this is not why you come. You come here to pick up quality, flavorful and delicious food to take back home and enjoy. Everything I have tried is amazing, especially the carnitas. The salsa is so good with the perfect amount of heat and their chips are thick, rich and perfectly salty. I highly recommend calling ahead to place your order but if it’s your first time take in the small hole in the wall appeal and be delighted with the delicious food.

My family was one of their first customers in baldwin park. I remember going there at 5 years old. Food is so good. Wish they had a bigger place to dine in. Maybe one day😃

Talk about great old fashion authentic food. DELICIOUS!!! We've tried quite a few items and have NEVER been disappointed. The Chicharrone tacos...da bomb! The super nachos... no skimping on carnitas there for sure! The carne Asada burrito... off the chart! Homemade tortilla chips and salsa all by itself is worth it! Check them out. You will definitely not be disappointed!

Their burritos are on special every Thursday 3 for 10, great deal. Take out only. Mementos from their mom are on the wall that started the business , her boys are running the store. Very friendly. Front door or back door has parking, and either for the out. You can call it in.

Was craving Mexican, nachos in particular and this place did not disappoint! I ordered steak nachos, the portions was huge, lots of cheese, every chip had refried beans, lots of sour cream and guacamole, big chunks of steak and the juice from the steak drizzled all over!

Small greasy spoon, 4 small tables inside and 2 outside. The food is really good and fresh. Green chili burritos with sauce on top, soft or fried chicken tacos are really good. They have a large variety of single plates or combinations. If you like to drink beer and watch sports you can order your food at Little Joe's go next to the Bit beer bar and Joe's will deliver your food to you.

Came in after navigating to a ace that was a house address, couldn't have been happier. They do everything in house from the bitchering of the meat down. Excellent prep and flavor of the buritto I got, the fried combo. Salsa was on point, good kick without being overwhelming. Highly recommendable location with friendly staff.

OMG just moved here from Phoenix a few months ago and I finally found a southwestern style Mexican food spot. I’ve been to a lot of Mexican food places around Los Angeles and this spot is my favorite place out of all of them. Fantastic food, had the tamale combo plate, 2 huge beef tamales with plenty of meat and masa, the beans and rice are the best I've ever hard reminding me of home cooked meal, anybody can tour the kitchen and observe all the fresh ingredients going into the preparation of your food. Also got 2 huge tacos 1 of Carne asada and ground beef. This location has become a favorite quickly in my mind, the family, father, and 2 adult son's throw their entire heart into making this a satisfying experience, I want to bring everybody I know to this great food location.There should be lines forming outside very soon, once the word gets out. Homemade lemonade with free refills was just as favorable and complimented the food. You can't leave here feeling unsatisfied.
