Ramen Shop
Loved it! It was cold outside today and so we wanted something delicious to warm us up. We decided to give this place a try for the first time and we were not disappointed. We tried quite a few things like the Tonkotsu Ramen (regular and spicy) the Tan Tan Ramen that was absolutely so delicious (my favorite) an order of Combo Fried Rice, chicken Karaage and the most delicious homade Yukinoya Gyoza! π Everything was so good! Oh, we also tried the Okinawa Chasu... I may never order regular Chasu again. It was a great dining experience with a kind attentive wait staff that made for a pleasurable time there. We will definitely be returning soon. Oh, and thanking the cooks on the way out for a deliciously prepared meal and their smiles and responses of the kindess words was Priceless! I recommend this place 100%. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Many blessings and love!

Very interesting. Like the "street" decor mixed in with traditional aesthetics.
Service was good, and quick. Didn't wait too long to get our food. Their selling point is that their large bowl of ramen is only $1 more. I was sold!!! But what ends up happening is it throws the meat:noodle ratio off. Both large and regular bowls come with three slices of pork. Just more noodles. Nice entry price point, but you'll need to spend extra money on pork to make it better. Otherwise though, the Tonkatsu Ramen's broth was good, and the noodles weren't too soft, had some nice bounce to their texture. Also, their large bowls are round, while their small bowls have a flatter conical shape --no easy!
Their Chicken Karaage was nice. Juicy, not over dry inside, but also very crunchy skin. Not bad!
Best of all, you can top things off with dessert from the Baskin Robbins next door.

Small but clean interior. Iβve dined here many times over the years as this is the closest ramen place to my home that is enjoyable. They still offer their garlic and garlic press but you need to ask instead of it being available table side. Good food and service. The spicy tonkatsu is not spicy for me personally.

We came by to this area once in a while, but have never stopped in to try this place. Today we came in to have lunch. This place was a little small , but there were customers already filled in . This place was small but cozy ,service was very decent and friendly. We ordered some chicken , regular and spicy Ramen. The broth was authentic and noodles were chewy and fresh. It was a little salty but it was delicious. It seemed like this place was very popular with the young crowds who enjoyed the Freshly Ramen.

We used to come to this place for ramen, last night we visited again due to my son requested it as he was in the army and stationed far away. 2 out of 4 at the table last night had food poisoning!! And this is also ruining his vacation! Very disappointed with the result as we loved this place.

10/10 nice small ramen spot. I got the spicy tonkatsu and the noodles were delicious. The customer service was too notch too. A homeless person came in and the server treated them with respect and served them like any other person.

This is a must stop off if you love ramen!! The family style yakisoba will take you right to Okinawa. The Okinawan Soba with the large noodles will not let you down. All the sauces are made daily, and the pork base takes 8 hours to make, so order early:) simple menu to allow quality over quantity.

Best ramen and pork rice was delicious π at a reasonable price. Not like other spots charge over $20 and poor taste.
Will be going back and will recommend to friends and family. Glad i found this spot because I was driving to Pasadena for the same soup. Customer service was the best too. Not greedy with hot sauce like other places too.

I love coming here for ramen! I wish it was closer to me. The tonkatsu broth is so rich and comforting and not overly salty. Ramen comes swift and hot. I enjoy my tonkatsu with a side of kimchi. Delicious! And the price is reasonable. The regular size is more than enough, but if you are a super hefty eater (or want to take home leftovers) you can also get the large. Whenever I come here my tummy leaves full and happy. Not a good place for large parties, as the place is small. You can always get it to go, though. π β€οΈ

MISO HAS PEANUT!!!!!!!!!!!
Last night, I wasn't feeling well, so my roommate ordered us some ramen on DoorDash. A couple bites in, my throat starts swelling up. I have a serious peanut allergy. Nowhere on the listing for the Miso Ramen does it say that it contains peanuts! Apparently, the menu in-restaurant states that there are some allergens on the menu. Peanut is often a life-threatening allergy and is rarely included in a miso recipe. I didn't even consider that it could be an issue. I've had this allergy all my life and eaten ramen many, many times at other restaurants with no problems. Please, please, please edit your menu so people know what major allergens are in your dishes! It's not that difficult. I could have ended up in the hospital last night, but luckily, I was able to get it under control with benadryl. Also, I think my roommate should have been offered a refund earlier today when she called to tell you about this issue.

After having Tan Tan Ramen in Oahu last year, I've been on a mission to find it in LA. And I haven't found better than Ramen Yukinoya yet!
Go with the ground pork and add extra char shiu to really go all in. The spiciness is at the perfect level, and warm friendly service to boot.
The regular size was more than enough, I had leftovers too but maybe should've gotten the large for just a dollar extra. They even had a tasty, shoyu-based ramen for my vegetarian wife.
We can't wait to return and try more of the menu!

Delicious authentic Japanese Ramen restaurant. Waits can be 25-30 minutes long, and they don't answer the phone, so you can't order ahead. At least they have benches outside to sit and wait, maybe get an ice cream next door at Baskin-Robbins or the Boba Tea place.

Got tonkotsu and shio ramen to-go. It's a solid place if you want some good ramen at a relative okay price. It's also great that they included sticker labels to know which one was tonkotsu, and the utensil packet is nicely arranged with also a chinese spoon, which is great for the soup

Delicious tonkatsu base with a deep savory flavor. Plus a very generous portion to price ratio compared to other ramen shops around town. If the line out the door isn't already hinting to you that it's totally worth the wait, then you're definitely missing out! Highly recommended for satisfying your ramen craving

Hands down my new favorite ramen place. The broth is super light, extremely flavorful, and very fresh. It was such a good broth you can taste!
They are sandwiched between two dessert places so you can have ramen and get dessert afterwards. I recommend it!

Food was good- but we waited 30 mins at our table for food because the restaurant was busy entertaining 25 bowls (around that number!) of take out orders. I find it very rude when restaurants do not take eat in patrons seriously, especially that it takes more effort for people to eat in nowadays. Totally no respect. They should give priorities to eat in orders rather than expediting the 25 bowls order. I was very upset because I have a young child and he was hungry waiting- seeing that the kitchen is only focused on serving take out orders is no fun. This is simply a reflection of poor restaurant management skill. And the Japanese host was rude (with PokΓ©mon keychain). I will not visit again.

One of the best ramen in LA!!!
I went to Tokyo to learn how to make ramen by a local ramen master, and I tried many ramen places. This is by far, my go to ramen spot in LA. Noodle cooked just to the fine line of hard and soft with a little chewy and smooth that you can slurp it with ease and feel the noodles break apart as you chew them. Soup is super flavorful without being too salty like many places. Their cha siu is well seasoned with a hint of sweet and thick enough for you to feel the layers of fat and meat when you bite into it.
I think I'll have to go here again after writing this review, this place is so damn good.
