Dave & Buster's Arcadia - Santa Anita

I usually don't like noisy places like this 😆 however it was a lot of fun and I had a lot of room to move around. I lost my phone and one of the workers was nice enough to help me and we found it in about 5 minutes 😁 Food was excellent and a good variety of games for all ages to enjoy ! Parking is a bit tricky because it is in a mall. I would definitely go back 👍

Been coming here for almost 5 Years so I would like to post a really good review. The crowd is friendly and ambience great, waiters always come around asking how we are doing. They have new games and brand new stock of bees at D&Bs Tapstation. We regularly order the pitcher that now comes in a Tower. Really cold beer if I might say. However the tower that we ordered was 2 liters but the beer bubbles are at the 2 liter line. I was hesitant about complaining about it but luckily one of the managers swung by and I signaled him. He immediately approached our table and I asked him on how the bartender measure the tower is, it by the bubbles or by the beer line… I was surprised he immediately grabbed the tower he said “don’t go away I will be right back” he took the tower and brought it back with the beer line on 2 liters. Wow what great customer service! I thank him for it! He stated it is always good to see how customers are happy as they tend to come back and enjoy more. Kudos to Armando he takes care of business and takes it to a personal. level!

This place is always a blast. Come with a date or a group of friends and play some games! Enjoy some food and drinks 🍻 and watch some sports. Glad they added the Jello shots at the bar. They have done some renovations, updated menu items and added some new games this past year. The bar in the back only makes mixed drinks and has canned beers. Draft beer only in the front bar. Staff is friendly. Be patient on full days because it gets hectic and your food might be a little longer.

Lots of new games but prices also went up. There's no Eat and Play but Mon-Thur they have half off all food.

Always come Wednesday because the games are half off.

Food is alright, I feel portions are smaller because it's half off. A full order of wings was like 7 wings. Seeks weak!

The Angry Birds coin pusher is pretty fun. Remember to always clear out the tower! It's a ton of tickets.

The service is slow, customers service is bad, security states people down and lastly very unsanitary. I was about to drink the last of my drink and notice debris. I confronted the staff and the guy just returned to his duty. No type of customer service, not even a sorry or let me replace that. Yet all the people that comment bad is not showed. It’s all censored because they are a big “corporation” that’s wrong especially the same security is still there. My son left a review because a security was being physically after the security stared him down and my son said what’s your problem. Even the managers started speaking in a vulgar vocabulary. Nothing was done with these crooks.

Recent renovations look very nice. Games are way too overpriced, but had been like that for years. They always have some type of deals going on for food. Half price Wednesdays for games are awesome but with kids in the middle of the week can be challenging. The app is cool now too offering rewards for games played. My only interactions with staff here consisted of ordering more drinks for us while my daughter played the arcade games... The bartender was a little slow, considering there weren't very many people at the bar... Other than the slightly slower than expected service, it was a good experience. The bartender knew her stuff, made us our drinks very nicely. Of course, they were kinda weak, but we were day drinking at a Dave and Buster's in the mall, so it's not like we were aiming to get plastered. Next time we come thru this spot, we'll check out the food, get some appies with our drinks.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this establishment, largely due to the manager, Dan. His behavior was shockingly unprofessional. He speaks to both employees and customers in a condescending and rude manner, often making unnecessary, sarcastic remarks.

As a customer, I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome, and I could see how his attitude affected the staff. No one deserves to be spoken to like that, especially in a professional environment. It’s clear that Dan lacks basic respect and communication skills, which severely impacts the overall experience here.

If this is how management treats people, I can’t imagine this location will maintain loyal employees or customers for long. I hope ownership takes action to address this toxic behavior because it’s unacceptable.

It’s also very upsetting to know that Dave & Buster’s would rather listen to false allegations and fake reviews and fire a great, loyal employee, I can’t even imagine how little they care about their customers. Needs new, better management, never coming here again.

We came for a family Party. We had the best server. Her name was Lily. She was the hostess with the mostest. If you book a party here make sure to request Lily and Helen as your servers. They made our experience here wonderful. Having the two ladies as our servers makes us want to come back again. Great customer service, - good job Dave &Busters.

This is a long overdue review of my experience and I apologize to the staff, especially the Manager Marcos for not posting this sooner.. I had a birthday party for my daughter with many guests one night. Short story is I had a less than pleasant experience for a few reasons. Next day, I was sent a survey where I voiced my concerns. Almost immediately after I was contacted by Marcos, a manager at the location and was treated to one of the most pleasant experiences I've ever had from a place I have been to. He arranged a return visit for me and my family and I can't say how well we were taken care of and how everything was made beyond right. He was very flexible with scheduling and very attentive to our experience even when he was not there. Everyone there took care of us throughout the night and unfortunately I can't recall the names but for the Manager on duty to our server, I cant thank you enough and I hope you are recognized by corporate higher ups. I was so disappointed with my initial experience and I'm now a customer for life. Thank you so much D&B staff, top notch customer service.

really makes the Arcadia store pop. One day that man is serving, the next he’s managing and the following day he’s on the mic promoting Football Sunday with raffles and stein contests. What can’t this man do. I don’t know how much they are paying him but he needs a raise. He is the face of that store and I will be coming back as long as he’s there !

This is one of the dave and buster i'd say that is newer perhaps. However the problem is the dine in gets so overly popular that the wait on weekends and Friday night is like 2+ hours, which is insane.

Def don't recommend coming here on weekends, holidays, or Friday night unless you are just there to play games. If you want a table, you'd have to come earlier to grab em, maybe go home and come back.

Their customer service, I mean its what you'd expect at a chuckie cheese kind of deal, you're not here for the quality, I assume you're here for watching games, drinking or playing the games. So its what you'd think expecting for a place like this.

Seemingly prob better to come on an off day like Wednesday with friends for their game. Their food and drinks were okay too, prob wont come back here for a meal.

Parking is shared with the mall, I recommend for closer walk, to park near AMC and forever 21.

There needs to be a bigger menu and more choices. Other than that, we love DnB. 50% off games on Wednesdays! Staff is super nice as well as the bartenders and full security for safety. The upstairs bar is not open during the week late nights.

This place is overpriced, way understaffed, and a terrible place to go if you want to watch a game. It’s loud, the games are outrageously priced, they offer no deals whatsoever, and good luck getting a single refill on a drink during the 60-90 minutes you spend there. Having run a restaurant myself, this has to be one of the more poorly run restaurants I’ve ever been to.

Our experience today 8/10/24 Around 5:40 pm it was amazing we had 20+ people in our party we went in as a walk in and our server was Anisa she was absolutely amazing with all my group very attentive and on point with everything. She literally even ran to get a candle for my son's (Remymartins) smores cheesecake lol she was awesome.

I was disappointed at the service at the bar (Bethany )we asked for a cup of water and to place an order for a.drink she rudely said we don't have To go cups and to ask our waiter for anything we need. We were sitting at the bar.. not at a table at that point and she was very rude..

Another waitress we were really disappointed was (Hisa) she attended our last minute guest about 7 guests and she messed up all the orders never came back to ask if they needed anything else or refills took over 30 minutes to bring an order they had previously messed up on. Horrible attitude as well. Very disappointed.

They said I can call and leave a message and someone will be contacting back and I have not yet receive any phone calls from anyone..

I had come into Dave and Buster's because my son wanted his birthday party here. I was honestly a bit weary with the initial cost but Chuy(manager) and Jordan(server) made me feel I made the right choice. Chuy and Jordan greeted me and got our party situated and took great care of us. Chuy even offered our party some time in their newly installed game system(the name escapes me). It felt as if Jordan never left our side and when I needed him he happily obliged. My son had a great time and thats all that matters but Jordan and Chuy allowed me to also fully enjoy the party with my son and his friends. D&Bs is a great place to have an event and not feel stessed with the small things, 10/10 will do again.

Dave and Busters is always a good place to kill time. I am just not a fan of the cost to play and the rewards that they give. On average you are paying about $30 for a prize that sells for $6-10 dollars. I have purchases many of the items there for a few bucks. Yes, it is about playing the games but, if the price to pay is so high with rewards, then the rewards should balance out closer to the cost. Better rewards means more money made.

This was our first visit here after the remodel. We come here all the time to this location. Came to watch a sporting event on a Saturday evening.
Pros: furniture and dining atmosphere looked like a good upgrade, games area have new games as well as prior favorites and this time ALL the games were working unlike before when it was a toss up and you had to go hunt a worker to come help you, we liked the addition of food items and revamped menu, we liked the flatbread pizza and wings and fried pickles quality
Cons: waiter service was on the bad side - we had to ask for everything twice (water, straws, plates, napkins), menu items have definitely very noticeably gone up (and almost doubled in some areas like the fried pickles that were about 5 are now basically $9 unless you come on their slow days for the original price (smh), my fries were overly seasoned so didn't really eat much unfortunately and couldn't find my waiter, I didn't like the new menu item names that seemed fun but confusing, got the wrong order (ordered boneless wings and got bone-in) but couldn't find waiter to notify so we ate them because we werent trying to wait around 10 minutes, and lastly it wasn't a packed house on a Saturday night like it usually is for a popular sporting event in their new nicer restaurant and we think it's because of their very increased pricing
We'll be back, but we'll be cautious lol

Video games are pretty pricey and hard to tell given they use points instead of dollars. I picked $35 option and I was out of points within 30 minutes. With that said, they do have a lot of latest technology games which makes it super fun.

Food and drinks were delicious!!! Our server was excellent! He even walked us through with making an account via app, which saved us $$ on our meal! In the arcade, I was able to combine my old game cards to an updated one. We had an amazing time! First time at Dave & Buster's in decades, definitely coming back!

With the remodeling complete, the place looks way better and it's possibly the best out of the D&B's in the City. Definitely my favorite. The Sky Lounge offers a great view of the mountains.

This was my first, not so great experience at a Dave & Busters.

I came here when the bar was packed with people. There was only 1 bartender (Natalie) and a lot more servers. What happened to the ratio? The staff should be cross-trained. The poor bartender was running around trying to get orders in and out while there were servers standing around. One server had all the time in the world to talk to his friends who dined in. There were many complaints from the customers. A lot of us waited around for over 30 minutes to get our order taken or to ask for the bill, etc. It was ridiculous.

They are currently remodeling(June 2024) so it is a bit out of sorts atmosphere wise. Also a lot of the older game machines are now gone to make room for the sit / food experience. Hopefully once they finish the remodeling they can find room to add more games.

I can’t rate this place for their food because they had us wait for over 20 minutes and no one came over to help us. The staff looked at us and said nothing. Off you want to go someone for the staff to watch you and not say anything then this is the place to go. I asked was the area open and I was told yes and still no one came over for another 10 minutes. One waitress was working, another just talking to the guys at the bar, and a gentleman was working.

The manager did come up and apologized for the lack of customer service from his staff but the damage was done.

Ok came here for Father's Day weekend
Spent over 250 to play games and food
So my only issue was at the bar by the games I had an open tab and he charged me twice 66. 65. And btw we tipped very well how can you make a mistake like that?
Now my banks in the negative. I know I can get a back charge but it's just the inconvenience.

I was VERY disappointed on my visit today! I arrived about 1:30 pm. I been going to this Dave and Busters for Years! I work with special needs and my clients love going to Dave n Busters. At Arcadia location they are remodeling. All of the setting area next to the games and the bar have stools to sit on at the tables. I have bad knees and are not able to sit on the stools. I have clients that not only have intellectual disabilities but also physical. One of my clients is about 5 ft and is semi paralyzed on one side. Also if I had taken someone with a wheelchair the table would be so high for them to enjoy their meal. It would have been sad if I had taken my ederly mother, it would have been difficult for her to sit on those stools as well. So one of the workers found a booth for us to sit at. In the corner near the bar. She mentioned it may take longer to get served because the bartender was serving drinks and he was the only one working in that section. She made sure the bartender knew we were sitting and waiting for him to take our order. 10 minutes went by,, some of the guests at the bar had left. OK 20 min went by the bar was empty and the bartender was doing other things. This wouldn't have happened if they had regular seats and tables for seating options. I should have taken pictures. I love going to Dave and busters. I would hate to go there and not be able to enjoy a meal and play games with my clients.

Food service was terrible and not the best games. A lot of game out of service. My kids wasted a good day. Not coming back.

A fun arcade dinning concept. I like this place but the service leaves much to be desired. Don’t be surprised if it takes you multiple attempts to flag a server down.

I made a reservation through OpenTable yesterday. It was my first time to a Dave & Busters.
Went with my wife and 3 kids. Service was horrible. Got my food before my water. Got my beer before my water, and server walked away as I was ordering food.. Food was good. Drinks were good. Service and the way they seat people is horrible.

Not enough parent seating down in the play area on a busy Sat. My friend and I stood for almost 3 hours. One family had two large tables and when their kids went to play they kept the second large table even though it was empty. They clearly did not want us to sit down in the empty chairs. Management should have a wait list down in the play area so people who are waiting can get a table in a fair manner. We asked staff about the table and they said they could do nothing. Then when we came back 15 min.s later the table was cleared and other people were sitting there. That was a bad experience.

Came here during the week so it wasn’t busy. They offer quality $5 drinks during happy hour and their appetizers are delicious.

D&B used to be such a fun place to hang out. Prices have gone up, food has become mediocre & games are too expensive

Waiting for a table to be clean for 35 minutes. The waitress was just walking back and forth. Finally, we asked if she could clean the table, but she ignored us for another 10 minutes. Till another waitress, Hisa showed up and cleaned it for us . 😔

Celebrated a birthday with family early on a Sunday morning and the service was so kind and attentive. The kids had a blast, we got there early before it got packed. It was very clean which is a big plus.
