Nest Tea House

This is my favorite place for boba. Their Hokkaido series drinks just hit the right spot every time I come here. I would recommend adding sea salt as a topping for an extra kick.

The staff is really friendly and usually makes your drinks fast. The place has a nice cozy vibe, so people often come here to do homework and projects. Therefore, the tables get filled up on weekends pretty fast.

Cashiers are friendly. I read good reviews about Hokkaido milk tea and Hokkaido green/ black tea (milkstache). I often have trouble making decision, so I asked the cashier for recommendation. He told me that the green tea is lighter, and I should go for the milk tea if I like something that is stronger. I took his recommendation and ordered a Hokkaido milk tea with grass jelly.

I believed the proportion of the milk is more than the tea. It tasted more like milk than tea. However, it is not too bad overall. It would be better if the tea base is a bit stronger.

The location is so tucked away, this place can be largely forgettable, to be honest. BUT that makes it a nice quiet place to hang out and just talk. Drinks aren't too expensive.

Friendly staff and manager! They have a wide selection of drinks on the front and back of the menus they have at the counter.

I ended up getting an iced coffee to save for the next morning. They got free WiFi, a lot of seating, and I found parking easily on a Sat evening.

It's a long overdue review...during covid this tea place saved my sanity and allowed us a place to quietly study. I passed my boards thanks to places like Nest Tea, the atmosphere of studious people, great calm music, ambient noises of the staff, all contributed to why it remains a great coffeehouse in my opinion. Now, you do have to go earlier to catch a spot, but I guarantee that it is worth it.

The boba is super delicious. The drink is a bit of pricy compare to other trees place. But overall taste is fine. They serve with "fresh" dairy.

If you want solid drink in the area then I would highly recommend try this place. Their delivery in term for good quality drink and price is fair !

It's a long overdue review...during covid this tea place saved my sanity and allowed us a place to quietly study. We got earl grey milk tea and lychee slush. They were very good. A true slushy drink and not so watery like most places around here nowadays. Recommend slush drinks

My favorite store, Feng Cha, seemed too far away and my local favorite closes early. So id thought id gige this a 2nd try. The first time was not good

One of my favorite drinks coffee milk tea with boba and its a drink I compare boba shops with. Oh my gosh it was so weak here it really was just watered down milk. It was so awful I had to throw it away
Not only that, there really are no creative offerings.
This was my 2nd and last try at this store even if its the only one open

Nest Tea House in Arcadia is one of my go to boba spots. Reasonable prices, ample seating and quick parking. You can also do a phone order and pick up within 10-15 minutes! The only reason I knocked a star down was because the quality of the drink always changes.

I always get the Milkstache green tea with 50% sugar and boba which is my absolute favorite. Sometimes the boba is too hard while other times the tea is too bitter or watered down.

January 2022 - I went to this Arcadia location before trying the San Gabriel location the next day. It was a weekend full of Nest Tea House drinks. No regrets.

Food/Pricing - Drinks are one size and about $5 something without toppings. I got the Earl Grey Milk Tea with lychee jelly. It was good! Though I wish I got it without toppings so I could taste the tea more but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

Service/Ambiance - The staff was okay, not super friendly but not rude either. Be sure to ask for a stamp card!! I totally forgot to ask and they didn't offer it when we were there. ☹

Will I be back? Most likely!

I got the winter melon milk tea and the grapefruit green tea. The winter melon milk tea is good. I WOULD NOT order the boba. It's unpalatable.

best tea in the area no doubt, but that girl at the registar is super rude. so lazy to the point that a simple gesture of helping the customer throw away the plastic wrap of the straw can't be done. She'd actually TELL ME where the trash can is so I can walk there and throw away the plastic wrap, while there is a trash can right beside her behind the counter. ridiculous.

My suggestion:

1. If you are this lazy, provide a small cup on the counter for the plastic wrap like what chatime and coco do, or install a trash can below the counter with an opening on the countertop like what starbucks do, or ask the other staffs to peel the wrap of the straw before you serve the drink like what jamba juice do.

2. if you hate your store so much and decides to impose your obnoxious negativity on a regular customer, maybe just stay home and let the other staffs run the show, they are lovely.

it's a young kids hangout. you go there to drink and talk with friends or to study. it has that kind of vibe. they dont serve snacks or food, only drinks and there is a minimum amount for you to sit inside ($3.40 or so I think it said?)

the drinks themselves are pretty good. not anything outstanding but like I said you go here to study or to have a small chat with your pals.

It was cool. Drinks were decent and was able to find a seat with a plug but only because a couple left about 5 mins acter I got there. Like it that they are open late though. Got real noisy from 8-10 pm mostly college students in groups pouring in.

Super quick service. Positive vibes. And the Hokkaido milk tea (w/boba) is BOMB.
It's got a much silkier, almost a coconut-ty flavor to it in comparison to the typical milk tea.

Good late night boba find. Loved being able to use the yelp check in and also collect a punch card. Lots of parking especially late at night.
The boba was perfect soft and chewy. My tea was lightly sweetened for real, as well as my kids. Would definitely come back if we are in the area even during the day. We came in late at night and chose this place because it was one of the few still open.
