What a hidden gem along the side of the highway. The food here is EXCELLENT and the menu was extensive. This is a good place to eat that has a little bit of everything

The service was great too.

You have to try the zucchini sticks. So crunchy and fresh .

The restroom was very clean (which is usually an indicator on how well they keep their kitchen clean)

We will definitely come back!

I don't usually leave reviews, but this place is so great! We stopped here on our way down the mountain because my daughter was getting car sick and it was lunch time. We were seated right away and the food was delicious! To our surprise they even had Guatemalan tamales. The best part was the service. Jen took great care of us and was especially sweet to my daughter! Will definitely be back next time we're in town.

No, hi how are you guys as we were ordering, only what did we want to order, we basically sat ourselves, and wasn’t checked on once our entire stay, not even after receiving our food. There were people to fill our water, but that was about it. I don’t know if it’s because it’s in the mountains, but literally the food did not taste fresh at all, I paid $2.50 for blueberries that were frozen, and French toast that was clearly made with oil, making my total $10.50 for 2 pieces of bread and a side of blueberries. I would give this place a try again, but honestly will not be returning anytime soon based on food and service.

This place was so awesome! My doctor told me to follow the low fodmap diet right now, which makes eating out pretty challenging (no garlic or onion, no fructose, gluten free, and no lactose). I loved how our server helped me have meals I really enjoyed and didn't cause me to have any negative reactions afterwards! I had the steak with a side of corn and baked potato and a salad with some olive oil and balsamic vinagrette for dinner and I had the eggs benedict on sourdough bread for breakfast!

What a great restaurant! Huge menu and the food and our server, Jen were both excellent.
We go up to that area to hike a couple times a year and we will most definitely dine there again.

First time here, came with a party of 7 on a Sunday and had the most pleasant experience. Our waitress was Jen, she’s a national treasure!! Was so kind, patient and attentive. Adorable cute family recipe diner right near the rim of the world. Great stop on the way up or down from big bear. You can tell the recipes are homemade! Had the weekly special beef stroganoff homemade. Also a homemade loaded tomato soup.

We found this little gem of a restaurant driving down from a weekend at Big Bear. It was very busy but we only had to wait 10 minutes for a table. My daughter and I both had the cheese ravioli which was excellent. I also loved my side salad with Italian dressing. The portions were very generous (we took the leftovers with us) and prices are good. Our server was so nice and efficient, as was the host who was very welcoming. The menu is huge and has as many options as a Cheesecake Factory! This place looks like a normal little restaurant/diner on the side of the road, but the food and service are a 10/10! Definitely stop here next time you are in the Big Bear/Running Springs area. :)

Victoria's Family Restaurant is located off Hwy-18 in Arrowbear.

The staff is super friendly and very welcoming. Victoria's serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In addition to coffee and fountain drinks, they also have a limited selection of bottle beers.

The pork chile verde burrito was soo good. I probably could've split it with someone but since I was pretty hungry I just ate it myself. It was a little spicy too so that was a bonus.

Stop on by for a bite to eat the next time you're on the way down the mountain.

It is very hard to find a delicious spot to eat with quality homemade foods in the mountain community, but something stood out on my visit to Victorias Family Restaurant. From the beautiful scenic drive to entering an establishment full of hospitality and love. I knew that this dining experience would be different.

I was immediately greeted and allowed to sit where I wanted and was asked if I wanted a beverage. I chose the fresh coffee they make and asked for an appetizer that my wife was eyeing which was the homemade mozzarella sticks. Let me tell you they didn’t disappoint and packed great flavor! We also got the side salad with homemade ranch! Which was phenomenal.

My wife and I ordered the Ribeye plate and it was cooked exactly how we asked and seasoned beautifully. We also ordered the beef dip sandwich with au jus because we wanted to have a taste test of different menu items, but realized the portion sizes are made to fill. We had the carne asada nachos with the homemade guacamole and fresh refried beans.

I can’t tell you enough that the staff was always making sure we had the best service and that the cleanliness of not only the restaurant but the restroom was a great.

We will definitely be back and enjoy more of that great menu.

What a wonderful family dinner! As soon as you enter the place smells so clean. The food is delicious! So flavorful and large portions. My 10 and 13 year old boys loved it and so did my mom. My 13 year old said “this place feels so wholesome”. My 10 year old loved our waitress as she recommended a great lasagne and a as so patient with all of our questions. A perfect end to a ski day!

First time here, and I'll return for sure. Menu is huge, and there are plenty of choices for whatever you're craving! The chile Verde is made in house, I didn't ask, but you can tell by the flavor and the chunks of the chile Verde. I recommend this spot when you're in the mountains!

A quaint diner type restaurant. Great place to stop in Running Springs after leaving the crowds of Big Bear. Staff is super friendly. Restaurant and restroom were clean. The food was plentiful and very good. The chowder soup was average, but the chicken picata (photo not available, too hungry and started before I remembered to take it 😋) and the homemade beef stroganoff were very good.

Horrible experience, went there with my entire family after being recommended it.

Got there at 11 am. Was about to be seated when the owners daughter comes out and tells us she has a party ahead of us and we'd have to wait.

The party that was "ahead of us" didn't show up. Probably her friends or something.

We waited an hour, came back in and the same woman (owners daughter) said "oh I never wrote your name down, so it'll be another 45 minutes"

Just to recap, the other party "ahead of us" still has not shown and now she was giving us an excuse that SHE didn't write our names down and it'll be another 45 min.

So there we are standing in the cold with our young kids waiting.

We walked back in and said we were leaving and she just smiled and said ok, when we akee to speak to the manager she said "I'm the owners daughter and she won't care of you leave"

I was beyond floored.

Went down the street to the "Deep Creek Drive-In" and had an amazing meal with wonderful staff.

I'm glad we were treated so poorly because then we were able to experience the amazing food and service at Deep Creek.

SKIP VICTORIA'S eat at Deep Creek.

TLDR:
GARBAGE SERVICE FROM A NEPO BABY, I WILL FOREVER STEER MY CUSTOMERS AND FRIENDS AWAY FROM THAT TRASHY PLACE.

The food was great, but the service was terrible. Had to ask multiple times for food that we ordered. When they set food down they run away so fast you don't even have time to ask for things. My husband stared at wait staff to try to get their attention for 30 mins before he actually got out of his seat to ask for the food we ordered a second time. They also charge a non cash fee which seems to be a percentage of the bill.

Amazing. I loved this restaurant and will definitely be coming back. My son and I loved our hostess because she gave us very good recommendations and she was very kind. Definitely try the Italian Cobb. It is very delicious. The half salad was large enough to take some home. Also the pastas there are very delicious. This place was amazing.

Food and price are ok, but there is a non-helpful waitress that made the service drops. In fact, I asked her for a candle because it was my daughter's birthday and she was helpless getting it. Moreover, you must carry cash because this company billed us 10 dollars more to make use of our debit card. That was so ridiculous overpriced.

Lovely people, our waitress was Melanie.

She has a smile as soon as you come in and greets you

Also place has really nice portions, I was completely full and couldn’t finish my eggs Benedict.

Bathroom also has a sign saying something along the words “report to staff if bathroom needs maintenance “ I loved this sign to keep the bathroom in order.

Also child friendly, they got high chairs.

Have tried this place four times now, and can say if you like to eat at convalescent homes this is your spot. First time we went in, we were ignored for 20 minutes with no service so decided to leave. Second time we went, service was mediocre, food was eh, nothing to write home about. Third time, service was terrible, we were forgotten about multiple times when told they'd be right back, when trying to Order, waiting for drinks, silverware, etc. Food was great! It was a weekend so perhaps they had their good cook on. Got the Chicken Fried Steak and it was great! We had hope for a good spot on the mountain. But the 4th time we went in, ordered the same thing, it came out overcooked in what tasted like old oil. The salad dressings were rancid tasting. And I ordered the "special" and boy was it something else. I ordered the meatloaf dinner and apparently they have a special version of meatloaf that resembles a Stouffer's TV dinner. It was two square pieces of ground meat with two scoops of dry powdery potatoes and smothers in brown gravy. I've never heard of meatloaf with gravy instead of tomato paste/ketchup deliciousness on top. But here, you can find your gross meals with horrible 70s music playing to please the older crowd with no taste buds. Bland food, bad service, dying vibes.

Great place to eat. This restaurant took over a dying place and turned it into a really nice place to eat and drink with family and friends. Been there few times and had: chicken marsala, and it tender and tasty. Eggs Benedict. And, California chicken sandwich, one of the best, ever. Zucchini fries are amazing. All in all, a great place to enjoy a meal, but I wouldn't recomend the deep fried zucchini. It's hard to tell if there is actually any zucchini inside, so if you enjoy breading...

Never tried any food. Service sucked. Stopped in on a Saturday morning around 9am. It wasn’t to busy. My husband and I sat down and were greeted about 20 minutes after sitting. Placed our orders after 30 minutes of being there. We sat there for 1 hour and 40 minutes and we’re never served our food. We watched two other tables come in after us and be served food before us. We walked out because obviously that’s ridiculous. I’m not sure what was going on. From what I could see they had 1 waitress. Which don’t get me wrong 1 person could do it but maybe it’s a little overwhelming serving an entire restaurant by one self. Anyways, we will never be coming back. Hope this helps.

Jennifer is a great server! She goes above and beyond in service. The chicken marsala is so good, not to sweet or strong taste of alcohol. I ordered mine without mushrooms over spaghetti noodles and it was so delicious. I order it every time.

My husband and I went here for taco Tuesday and it was phenomenal! The flavor of the carne asada tacos was to die for. The nachos were so good too! We have been coming here regularly. The servers are attentive and kind. Everything we have ever gotten has been so good. They said they should have beer and wine available within a few weeks. So glad to have this restaurant here!!

This used to be the restaurant called Blondies which closed. Victoria's has a better menu selection with more variety and choices. A pleasant place to eat and they still have some cost-saving specials. The food is reasonably good so I'm going back! The decor inside has improved. The service was excellent. It will be interesting to see if I find any dishes or menu items that they do exceptionally well. So far, everything's been at least good or very good! It's more affordable than Blondie's was. And, since the hourly fast-food workers are getting paid big money these days when I eat out I'm going to a sit-down restaurant instead because the prices are similar or nearly the same now that fast food prices have gone sky high. Think of all the money and gas U-Save because you're not sitting in the Drive-Thru line with your car waiting to get your order!

Great restaurant in the way to the slopes.

Good food, very good coffee and a good atmosphere. Very reasonable prices for large portions.

The owner was super nice and attentive that we were taken care of.

This restaurant is a very lucky find. Of the possibly hundreds of places I've dined in in this area, this is defintely in the top 3. The food and kovfefe were incredible, our server was jennifer and she was friendly and attentive, dining room was comfortable, prices were very good. Always wanted to stop here on my way to and from Big Bear. Great diner. Has a huge variety of items. Breakfast served all day! They are I the process of getting their liquor license, which will be icing on the cake.
Only real issue is parking and the location which is right on a corner and makes it easy to miss.

One of the best teryaki mushroom burgers I've had in a long time. Parking can be a problem when they are busy or after snow storm.

Pretty good food. Large portions. Our server was new but very polite and helpful.
I got the chicken piccata. It tasted good, but I was disappointed that it was served with mashed potatoes instead of noodles. I realized afterward that the option for the dishes under that section was to have either or. I wish the server had clarified when I ordered, because I didn’t say which one I wanted

This place was awesome. The food was delicious. Clean, friendly and the prices are just right. Do not pass this place up. The eggs Benedict!! Man, and the country potatoes were 🔥 🔥. Our waitres Jennifer was super nice.

Excellent place to eat after hiking or playing on the snow. Full plates. Not frozen food, you can taste they make everything here. Extended variety and staff super friendly.

We used to go to the cottage in rim Forest so we decided to visit Victoria's because we liked the cottage and heard that the menu was similar. The menu has some similarities but no it is not the same. It was a mistake to go there. Granted the waitress said she was having a bad day. We waited for menus. Our food came one plate at a time. My soup did not come before the meal. We had to ask multiple times for ranch & dressing napkins. I paid $15 for fish and chips but was charged an extra $0.75 for extra tartar sauce. What's worse, is I was not charged for kids meals, I was charged for adult meals. I pointed out the error to the waitress and she said that it was both of our faults (huh?), but that she didn't realize we ordered kids meals so we received regular size meals. We ordered kids meals from the kids menu and pointed to the meals and even asked questions about the kids meals. I paid for the full price meals, but I will not be back there again. I'm glad this place is not nearby.

We stopped in at Victoria's after we left a day of skiing at Big Bear Mountain. The village at big bear was full of waiting lines and we just wanted to get on the road. This was about 45 minutes away and we stopped in and got seated right away (around 7pm on a Friday).

The ambiance is small town diner, the waitress was very charming and very friendly and nice. My kids had the rib-eye steak and pasta with meatballs and were both very happy with their meals. I had a vegetarian burger and fries and was very happy to see that the patty was a traditional garden burger instead of a fake meat substitute. I would give the food 4 stars, it was good diner food but not very inventive.

For dessert we had chocolate cake, cheese cake, and lemon cake. The chocolate cake was not chocolaty enough and could have been more rich. The lemon and cheese cakes were both great!

We will make this our usually stop on the way back from skiing in big bear and look forward to trying some of the other foods.

My favorite diner at Arrowbear lake
It's such a nice and familiar ambiance
The food is great, specially the burgers (AND you can get onion rings instead of the fries if you're into that)
The food came fast and went fast *burp* (it was so good!)
Nothing compares to an authentic diner. Don't hesitate to try the Mexican food as well, it's authentic!! (Home away from home)

I was there with my family this morning. The food was incredible, delicious. Only 2 servers working . This place is 3 hours away from me. And I am planning to go back next week. We told the server we were going for lunch but we run late and didn't make it. I hope the don't loose their touch.
I'll be coming back.

If you are in the area and looking for good food this is the place to go! The food taste fantastic and they have so many different options from Mexican, Italian, sandwiches, soups, and so many more options. I had the chicken marsala and it tasted amazing one of the best I've had. On top of all the the service was amazing our waiter was Melanie and she was so attentive and helpful during our visit. We will definitely be back thank you Melanie for a great experience!

Delicious breakfast and great service!! I had the French toast meal and my husband had the country fried steak and eggs and we both joined the clean plate club. So glad to have them in our community and can’t wait to eat here again!

We had our first dinner at Victoria's and it was great. The place is clean and bright, the waitstaff are all very friendly and attentive.

We loved the fries (so crispy!) And the beef dip and Victoria's Sub were delicious. Lovely bread. Crisp pickles! Just the right potion sizes. We will be back.

Food was wonderful, best shredded beef enchilada's I have had in a long time. Beef was tender and delicious, no fatty surprises inside. A nice, clean, and family owned restaurant. What a pleasure to support this new location. Staff was friendly and service was great. I think this is the actual location of the best Mexican food on the mountain!
