Delicious fresh baked bread and pastries! The chocolate chip cookies are amazing! Highly recommend their brunch and lunch menu as well.

Seriously a brand new opened bakery spot/Cafe. I just so happened to see it when I stopped by for a CVS run. Walked into this place and the sourdough breads are so beautiful! I wish I could buy each one but that would mean I would have to eat them all and I can't.
They had this cute baked bread in the shape of a crab and crocodile...too cute!.
Anyways, since they are new here they need attention. So here I am doing my part to help out this small business.
Before I left I bought a chocolate chip cookies. It was delicious and rich of good quality ingredients. I will definitely return to get their breads and espresso muffins!

Okay...run...don't walk to California Bakehouse! It's AMAZING!!!
The Jalapeno/Cheddar sourdough is ridiculous!
The Chocolate/Cherry brownies...a revelation!
The Blueberry Muffins, to die for!
And the Chocolate Chip cookies, seriously, the best you'll ever have!
We can't wait to go back and try more of their amazing baked goods.
Of course the bread is the first reason to go but the sweets...just crazy good!!!
These guys REALLY know what they're doing!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting California Bakehouse, and I can confidently say it’s a gem in Artesia! Chef Alan, a James Beard award and Michelin star award nominee, brings incredible talent to this no-fuss café, where every bite and conversation reflects passion and quality.

The standout for me was the sliced pastrami sandwich—it’s cooked in house and hand sliced! They also offer an impressive variety of freshly baked breads, cookies, pastries and pies that are perfect for taking home.

The head chef was loudly berating the other workers, very bad vibe. The grilled cheese had way too much cheese on it, but the bread itself was good.

We have not been disappointed here. Our favorites are the chocolate chip cookie, blueberry muffin, and meals. There is a small area to eat in if you'd like to. Otherwise, you can take it out.

Love California Bakehouse! I go every 9 days to purchase the 3 lb sourdough loaf. They will cut it for you too! It is the absolute best tasting sourdough I've ever had. It is so nice to have a good bakery in the area, I hear they are making sandwiches now! Can't wait to try one🌺

Their loaves are amazing! 3 pound sourdough was finished in two days. I'm planning on trying all of their breads soon.

Happened to stop in while we were getting groceries next door and we'll be regular customers for sure! Service was great and the cookies were to die for. Glad to have such a great bakery in the area now.

First, you get a warm welcome when you walk in.
I have been there 3 times already and never leave empty handed. Their sourdough is delicious and the pastries are yummy 😋
The espresso and blueberry muffins are so filled with flavor
I will def be back again and again

The baked items I purchased are really high quality and absolutely delicious. I left with two loaves of sourdough, (wheat and white) a blueberry muffin, chocolate chip cookies, and a danish. Each was just amazing. It’s difficult to find true sourdough bread and this is the real deal!
