Need better staff training. I called for a pick up they said it will be done in 15 min. I showed up and they forgot my order and told me to wait 5 more min. I told them I ll wait outside and call me when it s ready. After 10 I walked in and the order has been sitting on the rack. Clearly it has been sitting there for a while since it wasn t warm after 5 min drive home.

The food was great. Be prepared to wait though. Its a small establishment and seems very popular. So there is a wait to get seated. Once seated however, the food is prompt. Great quality and huge portions. The average price tag is about $25/ person at dinner. Kid-friendliness: We had a 7 and 9 year old with us. I dont know if I would recommend bringing younger children because the pots are heated in front of you.

This place is so good. The Hot Pot is delicious!! Its super flavorful and always hits the spot. Their milk teas are also really good. They staff are efficient and friendly. Weve come to this place multiple times, and its always just as good. I normally get the beef hot pot. They are also really good if you have a request about leaving certain things out. There can be a wait occasionally, so be prepared for that. Bit its seriously worth the wait!

I have been a loyal customer of Boiling Point for perhaps 18 years. The most amazing part about my recent visit was the operation of the business. Usually, the store would be only half filled while more people waiting for a table outside. The reason given to me was the kitchen couldnt handle that big of a flow, please wait outside until we are ready to serve. My, oh my, at their 20th year anniversary with a buy 1 get 1 free order, my visit went smoothly. The restaurant was PACKED, no empty tables whatsoever. Did the service suffer? No! We were asked if there is anything they could provide before they left the table. When I request for a refill of the broth, it was gone just like that (finger snap ). Every employee was busy but still very pleasant when interacting with the customers. I know I am one of those customers who loves the food and loves the way I like it. In short, Im very picky. With a packed restaurant, the food was served with only a short wait. The food was just as I expected. Even the rice was done right, not too smoosh nor undercooked. They were able to maintain a clean and accident free environment. I was impressed. I chatted with the person who sat us down and I asked if she was the manager because I was amazed. Im the district manager, she said. That explains it all. Everything ran smoothly. Kudos to Wendy and thank you for making our dining experience enjoyable.

We went there last night and a trainee took our order and didnt tell us that the item we are ordering has a strong smell of fermented tofu and when it arrived and we tasted it, we could eat it because of smell. Then this great worker named Mika asked us very nicely and replaced our item. She was very kind and explained nicely what is the cause of strong smell and the person who took the order should have told us. All good she replaced our order they made sure by asking us we are enjoying our food. Another one also brought us additional soup and took care. They have a great staff along with trainees. The only cons is their seating arrangement. Somehow they skipped our number which they use for seating so I have to ask them that we are waiting for 45 minutes and our number is not on the screen. If they can improve their seating capacity and system and keep one person only to clean the tables and pick up the dishes then they can avoid long wait and missing numbers. This place is improved. We went there today and the staff was very nice and helpful. Vegetarian options: There is only one vegetarian option but remember to ask for vegetable broth. Parking: During busy hours its full otherwise no issue. Kid-friendliness: Very good. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes

My folks live in this area and have been here ever so often but this is the first time I felt the need to leave a review. The girl with pouty lip who took our order had so much attitude. I know it s busy day and my typical Asian dad might ve rushed her to take our order, which I have already educated him on. If you want to roll your eyes at least have the courtesy to do it behind our backs? Left without asking our drink order. I don t even want to leave a tip but there are other servers who are super nice to us. The food is your typical boiling point, hearty, delicious sauce, but you can get better service at other BP locations.

It s always too crowded, so the services became terrible . Actually, we can find many similar hot pot around there. It s not worth it to wait that long time . There are so many people every time. Even though there are seats, everyone is asked to stand in line and wait. It is raining and very cold outside, and the clerk wants everyone to wait outside. You cannot stand inside. The miso is not delicious, too salty and not fragrant. The service is not very good. It is too busy. You have to wait a long time for everything. There is no one to help with the order. There are a lot of small hot pots nearby if you search . In fact, they taste the same. You really don t need to go out to eat boiling points. The price used to be okay, but now it s getting more and more expensive. Although the portions have increased, girls can t finish them at all. spend more money

OMG !! the place is not crowded at all!! the number of staff is equal the number of guests . but this long of wait is unbelievable !! if I would have known this , I would not come and wait!! they should have told the guests the expected waiting time so that we can decide to wait or not !! Edit : It turned out the waiter forgot to enter in the system our orders. They apologized and offered us more free drinks as compensation for the wait.

Excellent Taiwanese hot pot! Have been here many times and they are consistent. My latest visit had many people waiting outside and very few diners. I actually asked the server named John and he was really honest and open. He said it s really overwhelming for the cooks back there since they are cooking these soups in high heat in the oven. It made complete sense. John was a really good server, food came out in a timely manner and we were checked on at the right times. Will be back again soon!

CHECK IN AT 2:36PM AND SEATED BY 2:54PM. THE RESTAURANT WASNT BUSY AND EMPLOYEES WERE JUST TALKING TO ONE ANOTHER. EMPLOYEES WERE PASSING BY OUR TABLE AND THEY CAN DEFINITELY SENSE THAT WE ARE READY TO ORDER. HOWEVER, THEY WAITED TILL 3:00PM TO TAKE OUR ORDER. WHEN I ASKED IF ITS STILL LUNCH PRICE, THE EMPLOYEE THAT TOOK OUR ORDER QUOTE SORRY BECAUSE ITS PASS THE LUNCH TIME AND THEY CANT MANUALLY INPUT THE PRICE . I WASNT EXPECTING THE LUNCH PRICE BUT WHERE IS THE PRINCIPLE. YET, THEY AVOID HELPING OUR TABLE AFTER MY COMMENT YOU GUYS ARE SO SMART !! NO WATERS WERE PROVIDED AND WE HAD TO REQUEST MULTIPLE TIMES TO GET WHATEVER WE WANTED. THEY EVEN HAVE THE AUDACITY TO SERVE THOSE THAT CAME AFTER US. THOSE TABLE DIDNT HAVE TO REQUEST MULTIPLE TIME. THEY WERE SERVED WATER BEFORE US!!! IF THEY DONT WANT TO HONOR WHAT THEY SAY, JUST SIT US DOWN AFTER 3:00PM. AND IF THEY DONT WANT TO PROVIDE US SERVICE, JUST LET US KNOW AND WE LL LEAVE.

*1st TIMER* service was A+, every single person here was soooo sweet and accommodating. We came at lunch time (busy) party of two, and we were sat in less than 5 minutes. I tried the #4 Beef , mild. It was spicy enough to make my lip and eyebrows sweat , but enjoyable! During lunch special you get a free black or green tea! Atmosphere was awesome! They re so quick to help you if you need it. Yummy food, speedy / friendly service, and super fun atmosphere! They had todays pop music on which was so fun! It was like a mini escape from reality! Plenty of parking, one restroom with one toilet which is fine it s a small restaurant, and you can take your food to go if you don t finish it all.

Make sure to say not spicy, or your level of spice you are able to tolerate or you will need to dilute the dish you ordered just to eat it. Making a reservation before you go will definitely save you wait time. Enjoy your time and hope this helps. Parking: Can get full on weekends quickly.

We just left since nobody came to us. We felt kind of ignored and felt like they were doing that because we looked like first timers there.. we saw FOUR workers there just out in the front and NONE of them came to assist us at all. Personally, I did not enjoy the experience of not being able to eat my food due to how hot my food was at this particular restaurant. They do offer small bowls on the side for you to be able to serve yourself, but the tables are tiny and the stove your food comes in takes most of the space at the tables. The portions served are small for those with a big appetite. I ordered curry and I asked for no spice, but it came served with mild hot sauce. The best thing I had was the collagen passion fruit jelly. This restaurant is not for big groups such as four people or more it seems. The facility is maintained clean. The ambience is loud. I don t think I d come back here to this hot pot place, but you might like it if you re willing to give this restaurant a try.

Review №199

My wife and I been coming to this location for months, knowing tho they close at 9:00pm. But today my wife and I came again around 8:15 pm hoping to get a table, and we were denied. One of the staff was cool explaining us the situation about the long waiting list they had, but when I talked to one of the supervisors, the supervisor was not only rude, but also unprofessional the way he re responded to my request. Worse place ever.
