The food is amazing and the prices are reasonable for the portions of the food. The only thing I would say that this place needs is more waiters. The night I went they only had one waiter and he was pretty much greeting customers taking orders, bringing out the orders and also running the cashier. I feel bad for the guy so I didn’t make a scene but for the owner, please add more staff this place is great.

This is the spot, Service it’s very good at lunch. Dinner service is a little slow as it can get crowded as on weekends. There is parking. It’s a small lot and hit or miss as it’s right next to Sunbright Tea. Highly recommend the steak. The ramen is surprisingly very good as well.

I was in the area with a group of friends and decided to get hotpot here for dinner. I am openly sad that there isn't a chain in my area yet so I can have more alternative options to hotpot.

FOOD
We ordered 3 hotpot and 1 rib eye grill.

Thai hotpot: I ordered this mild and the soup base was definitely sour and spicy. The ingredients were typical, but portion was very filling. I ordered it with vermicelli. Overall, not too bad.

Curry hotpot: my friend ordered this and commented that it was not bad, but she couldn't really taste the curry. She had a lot leftover so a 2nd meal.

Japanese hotpot: they served this with udon and presentation looked good. My friend preferred another hotpot place more as it's more flavorful there than the one here.

Rib eye grill: if you like your meat medium rare, order it as one level rarer so it'll get cooked. The waiter told us to order it rare and then let it cook for 20 seconds. We did and it became medium well, but we may have let it cooked a little too long. The meat was juicy, but flavorless. They give you 3 dipping sauces similar to A1, mustard, and sweet and sour. This dish also comes with 2 side dishes and a salad. I would not order this again as it doesn't fill you up, and this is not a steakhouse.

PARKING
It's located in a small strip mall, so limited parking during peak hours. We came before the dinner rush so found parking easily.

SERVICE
Overall service was not bad. They were very quick to seat us and take our orders. When we requested items, it was brought to us right away. Pretty good for an Asian restaurant standard.

WILL I COME AGAIN?
If I'm in the area and want hotpot, this would be my place. Hotpot portions are generous for the price you pay ($12!).

First time at this location. Been at their first location in Garden Grove and then to it's fountain valley branch when they moved.

The food is great. Make sure you get their fishball appetizer while you wait for your order. Ribeye steak on a hot stone is a must to try too. All of their hotpots are good you can't go wrong whichever you choose.

The parking is bit hard as the lot is small and is also shared by different businesses so make sure one of your friends get off from the car and get a table while you wait for a parking spot.

This place is bomb. Menu, flavor, price, ambience, service can be a tad faster but no one is perfect.

I mean, whoa! Individual hotpot servings starting at $15.95 (sans tax), amazing variety, boba drinks, appetizers, no charge on dipping sauces on your table......can't get any better than that.
Love this concept.

We were a party of four and we ordered: Seafood hotpot (2), Korean Kimchi hotpot, and Japanese miso hotpot. Dared to order appetizers of fried goden fishball and fried fish tofu. Yummy.

I left with half of my own hotpot order to take home. You can also order one and share.

I am at a loss for words, I really love it. Only a true Asian food and hotpot foodie can appreciate this spot.

My wife loves the house special hot pot. I am not a seafood eater at all, but I enjoy the garlic noodles. So it's simpatico for us and we like to go here every couple weeks. We really love the food, the speedy service, and the low price.

The food is OK, the service is OK (friendly but slow). Parking is convenient. No wait when we went on Sunday evening. We ordered two hotpots and one of us go the steak. I was told the steak was decent but mashed potatoes were bad, tastes like instant mashed potatoes. Fries are OK as well. The salad that came with the steak not that great. Large portions though. Prices are about $13-16 per person. I tried the tonkotsu hotpot, average. The pork was kind of rough in mouthfeel. The tofu tasted a bit sour. The spicy levels are actually pretty spicy though so that's a plus. Overall not very impressed by this place. I actually came for ramen but it didn't look very good when I got there so I ended up getting hotpot. No plans to visit again probably... Not my favorite hot pot place in the area. Everything is so mediocre and the servers didn't refill our waters even though it wasn't very busy. Very average to me.

You know the water your dog drinks? Well that's what their food smells like. Took a super duper long time to get the food and its just prepackaged stuff I can make on my own from a pack of shin ramen. $20 + the American tip classic or $5 a stater bros. I'll take my shot with the latter.

On Easter Sunday, me and my family went to this restaurant for some rainy weather hotpot. I orderedhouse special hot pot. The soup base is bun bo hue lemongrassy soup. It is very interesting to taste the soup. I love it. A lot of customer during lunch hour.

I can have a reliably good experience here. Always excellent service and decent food is usually the experience. The place is nice and accommodating for small to midsized groups. Around 2-6 people is the ideal party size most likely. Parking is limited to a small lot, but I usually don't have trouble.

This place was extremely busy and horribly understaffed. We waited about 35 minutes just to get our drinks. The waiters were working hard but seems like management/ownership is taking complete advantage of it's employees. There were 5 of us and one of us got our meal about 20 minutes after the others. If the food were great, I might consider going back but not gonna happen.

Not a great experience. I had been recommended this spot by a friend for their sizzling steaks and hotpot, so we took a chance. From the start, we already noticed that they were understaffed. I ordered the rib eye steak that came out pretty quickly. However the steak came out well done when I had asked for medium rare. I know the steak cooks as it's on the hot plate, but even then, my meat was cooked too well done after the first cut.

Unfortunately for my friend, she had a worse experience. She ordered the lamb hot pot and requested no pickled greens, but it took 30 minutes for it to arrive. When it did, we saw that they didn't remove the greens. We also saw that there was no pork blood, egg, or enoki mushrooms which were specifically on the menu. When asking the server, mumbled that they "didn't add it to the menu" and that they ran out? Unusual response to say the least and we noticed that the workers were talking amongst themselves and pointing at our table afterwards. I suspect they gave us the wrong order. Also, the rice that came with the hotpot was stale. It seemed like they either reused old rice or had the cooked rice out a few hours too long. We asked the server for a water refill but had to grab another server's attention since the original had forgotten.

All throughout the night, the two workers were scrambling around trying to take orders, clean tables, and deliver food. The other patrons were also slightly disgruntled by the long waits and inadequate service. Much like the other low reviews, you can't put 100% of the blame on the servers. They were polite and tried their best. I blame the management on the lack of hiring and poor organization of their workplace.

I won't be coming back, even though their food tasted decent. If you, the reader, decide to give this place a try, you better hope it's on a slow day when the workers aren't struggling.

I ordered the steak garlic noodles to go. For almost 20 bucks the value isn't really there for this item. Noodles were nice but barely had garlic flavor, the portion of beef was very small, but it did come with a very well dressed salad and tomatoes slices. I suppose it's not really known for their noodles since everyone seated in the restaurant had ordered some variation of their hotpot.

Was OK. Not friendly staff though. Seemed annoyed when I asked them what was kid friendly or just basic needs like a straw for Boba. No napkins and they couldn't give me a extra flat plate for my kid. They said they are not allowed. Well I ask for lemon and and was quickly answered "No". Was my first time here and last time. The beef hot pot was not flavorful. Like I would of enjoyed the hot water noodles with some salt, lemon ,and Chile paste.. but only thing good was garlic noodles. Shrimp were not fresh. They seemed also annoyed to them getting my side order wrong. It was completely dead in there when we got there. I invited my inlaws for dinner and we talked at the end of our meal and the staff just kept staring and pointing to see when we left.

Use to be a great spot but quality of food and service has been going downhill. They ignored be when asking for silverware, they gave us a salt shaker for out food then said they need it back a few min later. Hope this place fixes whatever going on.

They have these amazing hotpots, like 8 different kinds to choose from, different Asian styles. We had a few and they were amazing, and each one had a different flavor broth. House, Korean and I forgot the other one. Highly recommend trying the food here.

Stopped by Red Flame this past weekend for dinner as we were craving hot pot, which is our go-to type of food for colder evenings.

We were surprised to see that the place was not packed on a weekend. The selection of hot pots they offer is great, in addition to noodles, ramen, steak and drinks. Everybody in our group ordered hot pot.

The service was slow, we were having a hard time trying to get the attention of the staff for assistance. When the server brought out our hot pots, he did not light up the fire under our hot pot.

In the middle of our meal, a group of "carolers" stopped by the restaurant with a very loud microphone, asking for donations. The girl who did most of the singing was very loud and was standing next to our table. It was very uncomfortable because she was screaming in our ears.

Also, the check was brought to our table while we were still eating; although they informed us to pay when we were ready, we felt rushed. When my sister paid the bill, the server told her that it would be best if she left a tip in cash.

Although the quality and taste of the food is great, I don't think we would come back due to the negative incidents that occurred during our visit.

Worst experience I’ve had in a long time. I blame management for not properly staffing on a busy evening or stepping up and helping out by taking tables. I ordered two hotpot’s with rice and two steaks with fries and some sodas. We never got our drinks or steaks (turns out the server was ready to go on break and didn’t put in our full order) and the hotpot’s were only ok, there’s way better hotpot places around Cerritos, like Broth Shabu Shabu. When they brought the hotpot’s out they didn’t start the fire and I had to find my server and ask them to light it. Turned out they kept seating people even tho one of the two servers was going on their lunch break (at 9:30pm). Just bad service all the way around, the one server that was left to fend for himself was coming off rude in my opinion with how he talked to customers but I’m sure he was overwhelmed. He was trying to handle the whole floor but failed pretty bad. Several customers were upset today. Won’t ever come back here.

I went to this place because my buddy said they have good steak. We ordered the rib eye and I must say that the steak was cooked to my liking, medium, the staff was polite and efficient. The price is fair for the ribeye. My sides cooled down quickly but I ordered the vegetables so I ate them quicker 😋 the flavor of my steak was Excellent and they gave me three sauces for dipping or pouring, BBQ, spicy orange sauce, and Steak sauce.

We checked in through waitlist by yelp. Got a text that said our table is ready. We went in and still had to wait another 10 to 15 minutes to be seated.

Our orders were taken. Food comes out and my food doesn't come. Waiter 'forgot' to put it in the system. On top of that, no more drinks (like tea) were available. Was told that they were shutting down the machine, but other tables that came in after us were still being served drinks? You'll get tap water... you CAN taste the tap. Refills are a joke. Flagging down a staff member for help with that is a race in itself.

Yes. I understand the restaurant world is understaffed. But don't lie to my face... especially when I can see it happening right in front me. This place needs a whole new revamp on their customer service. 😒

Came here for dinner since my son and his girlfriend highly recommended this restaurant. It wasn't that packed when we came in but it was almost 9:30 pm. Food came and the order taker (girl) gave an extra side order of meat, which we didn't order. Since we all ordered hot pot, when it came mine and my son's pot were ok and the fire is ok so our food got hot in no time. However for my son's GF, the fire wasn't really lighting up and didn't stay. We had to call the server 4 times and they didn't seem to care if the fire is on or not. Me and my son are almost done eating while my sons GF is barely starting. Common sense dictates when people kept asking you to light up and fire the hot pot, that means something is wrong with the gel. They don't seem to get it that we had to keep asking them. The servers are not very attentive to their customers. If you are patient enough, you can.come to this place but I wouldn't really recommend it.

Always loved coming here since they first opened, and I have been to their other locations as well. The food is good and all, no doubt my favorite hot pot place! Their steak is awesome, getting more expensive and smaller though. This restaurant have everything you want to eat at the same time, be it garlic noodles, ramen, hotpot, steak, or maybe have a boba! There's something for everyone! However, I noticed that everytime I come here, their prices go up a dollar or a few cents more. I understand the inflation and we all gotta adapt, but hopefully it reflects with their customer service.

Ok, so here's the deal, was driving through the old stomping ground and ran across this place while looking for food location. Since we were right by this one, we decided to give it a go.
So the food is pretty darn good, I ordered the House Special,lots of flavor,
Meat portion could use a little help, as well as the veggies and noodles etc. We also shared Fried Fish Tofu as an appetizer, it was very tasty. All in all, concerning the food, I gave it a 3 Star only because of the portion sizes, they need to kick it up a few sizes, my recommendation, order a few sides to make up for the portion sizes. All that said, what really Saddened me was the service, yes the place was busy, I get it, bit I was in the business for over 35 years, they had enough staff where a system should be implemented in order that no customers, especially New ones, are not overlooked. Our waitress never came back to check on us, it was the busboy whom I had to stop several times for questions and requests. I am well aware the industry is getting hit hard right now with lack of solid employees and in no way would discourage you from trying this little place. I will be going back to have something new. I order a seafood sup 2 shrimp a few crab imitation 1 clam 2 very small pieces of fish good amount of tofu ( I dont really like tofu) but there is no tofu on the sea. 1 piece of corn, and sup is okay not much flavor. Customer service not bad but not good.

Food was great and the servers were very friendly. The lava rock steak is a really cool concept, just order the steak less cooked than you normally would since it keeps cooking the whole time it's on the rock. I ordered it medium, but when I was not even half way through it was already well-done.

Drove all the way from Torrance to try this place out and was pretty impressed! There was no wait on a late Friday night, the food was reasonably priced and there was a large selection of hot pots to choose from. If it's your first time I recommend trying the house special. Will be back again!

The vegetable ramen is below average. The egg is too salty. The noodle & broth is so so.
The side of lamb is so so . Blant no taste but tender.
The fried fish balls were good.

So to be honest this is my absolute favorite restaurant. I love, love, love the ribeye steak and garlic noodles.
However, we went here to celebrate Father’s Day and brought our kids for the first time. We arrived early because we know it gets busy. When we arrived there were only a few parties dining in. We were seated right away, given menus and water as usual. The waiter came to take our order with his mask down under his nose. We ordered 2 ramens, 1 hot pot soup and 3 ribeyes. We also ordered 6 drinks.
After we ordered, the restaurant got busy and at least 6 tables were seated.
Every single one of those tables, including another party of seven that was seated after we ordered, got their food and drinks before us. 2 of them were done eating by the time all of our order came out.
It was very frustrating. We complained and they said the kitchen was working on it.
I think they forgot to put in our order all together, but they wouldn’t admit that.
It was a mess. All of our meals came out at different times, the sides were cold or wrong. Steaks were over cooked. We had to request utensils two different times we had to request boxes two different times it was a very bad first impression on the five others that we brought with us for the first time. Very disappointed.
My steak was abnormally small as well. I know they are all supposed to be 10oz but I don’t think it was.
No compensation offered at all. What a bummer.

The quality of the steak is really good for the reasonable price. The flavor is really tasty you can taste the natural flavors without sauce over powering it, they do give you sauce on the side if you choose to use it. I went on a saturday the service was good no long waits. I had ordered the top sirloin with rice and fries, my date had rib eye which they enjoyed also.

The menu looked great. Lots of great/good reviews. However, food was seemingly very plain and boring. Ordered Stone Ribeye and piece was very small. The vegetables were kind of lukewarm to cold. Also had garlic steak noodles which was literally just that. Very bland. Service was also a touch slow but probably because place was packed and there was a table of like 10+ people. So no fault there. Mainly that the food was mediocre at best.

I got to say I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Ordered 3 steaks..delicious! Wish I had photos but we ate them too fast lol

Dont get the all included Crepe, the meat is not fully cooked and the shrimp has shells even the tail is on). They cajun fries does not look like a cajun at all! It's just plain potato with salt. The side salad doesn't have any dressing, how can you eat it just like that? Not impress with the Garlic pasta. Just go for the Steak and the soup!

Only their steaks and fishballs were good and the rest are 👎. They're serving their side salad without any dressing. Cajun Fries that looks like a regular French fries No Cajun added at all. The crepe with everything in it is a waste! Who would eat a shrimp with a tail & shells on (good thing I opened the crepe) the meat were just boiled and doesn't taste good, there were lots of sprouts than meat. Not going back there again.

Food

I ordered the ribeye steak, garlic noodles and Cajun fries. Steak came out on a hot stone so it was still cooking while you were eating it. Definitely not bad. Especially for the price. Garlic noodles were bomb. That is a must order.

Service

The service was definitely superb. From taking my order to bringing out the food and even when I asked for a togo box. New sauces were brought out to me for my steak.

Definitely will be back soon.

I was in the area with a group of friends and decided to get hotpot here for dinner. I am openly sad that there isn't a chain in my area yet so I can have more alternative options to hotpot.

FOOD
We ordered 3 hotpot and 1 rib eye grill.

Thai hotpot: I ordered this mild and the soup base was definitely sour and spicy. The ingredients were typical, but portion was very filling. I ordered it with vermicelli. Overall, not too bad.

Curry hotpot: my friend ordered this and commented that it was not bad, but she couldn't really taste the curry. She had a lot leftover so a 2nd meal.

Japanese hotpot: they served this with udon and presentation looked good. My friend preferred another hotpot place more as it's more flavorful there than the one here.

Rib eye grill: if you like your meat medium rare, order it as one level rarer so it'll get cooked. The waiter told us to order it rare and then let it cook for 20 seconds. We did and it became medium well, but we may have let it cooked a little too long. The meat was juicy, but flavorless. They give you 3 dipping sauces similar to A1, mustard, and sweet and sour. This dish also comes with 2 side dishes and a salad. I would not order this again as it doesn't fill you up, and this is not a steakhouse.

PARKING
It's located in a small strip mall, so limited parking during peak hours. We came before the dinner rush so found parking easily.

SERVICE
Overall service was not bad. They were very quick to seat us and take our orders. When we requested items, it was brought to us right away. Pretty good for an Asian restaurant standard.

WILL I COME AGAIN?
If I'm in the area and want hotpot, this would be my place. Hotpot portions are generous for the price you pay ($12!).

A red Flames I had the ribeye steak I guess I should have had the steak and noodles the steak didn't have no seasoning to it it was okay and the price was cheap it was only $15 for a steak fries and broccoli so maybe the next time I go back I will have the garlic steak and noodles and I might feel differently

This place was good. Worth the waiting line of 45 min?....I don't think so. You can check in via Yelp, so then you can come and wait closer to your time. I've Only been there once, so I can't say much on how great everything else was. It's basically like a boiling crab with a mishmash of other random Asian stuff on their menu.
I got the curry shabu bowl (forgot the actual name of the dish*). Each shabu comes with a choice of rice or rice vermicelli. I chose the extra vermicelli, and I wouldn't recommend that to anyone. It was too much and in the end it just ended up over-cooking and turning it a d the rest of my soup into a slimy mush.
Those were "Cajun fries"....not impressed. We only ordered it because we thought it would come out 1st before our shabu bowls since we were SUPER HANGRY from waiting so long, but it came out at the same time as our entre which kind of defeated the purpose of ordering an appetizer (although i think ot was labeled under "snack" on the menu). Anyways....you get what I mean....

Great customer service, good quality hotpot for the price. The place is simple but organized. All the people that works here are fast workers though, they will not have you wait for a table which I really like and thats why I will always recommend this place. I always order the mushroom hotpot which is very delicious. I will try their steaks next time.

First time going here and food was great!! Not too big of a portion but just right for 1 or 2 people to eat. Would definitely come back again!
