A great place to stop for a great hamburger. I always order the grilled chicken sandwich with bbq sauce. This Habit is just off I-5 and HWY 99 merger at El Tejón Outlets. It’s located on the east side of the freeway. Plenty of parking space and easy in but a little tricky to get back to the freeway due to lack of signage. Clean all the way around and great service. Outdoor eating options and there is a shopping outlet close by if you are into making time for shopping.

Visited here for lunch. Ordered Crispy Chicken Sandwich on Sourdough and Veggie burger with parmesan garlic fries. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Food was pretty good, specially fries. Service was quick and place was well maintained.

All digital orders at a kiosk. It's not difficult to place an order. However if you want the food prepared a certain way you will have to communicate to an employee that you want a special order. Food is good, it's a simple smash burger style chain. The The ingredients are good quality. The atmosphere is a little sterile and uninviting to people who dine in. Order food the way it comes and to go is the way to go. You will be in and out quickly.

Another great lunch. I had the Santa Barbara Char and my wife had the Santa Barbara cobb salad. Both burger and salad were larger than most other places and with a side of crispy onion rings and root beer our meal was complete. This restaurant also offers a drive thru in case you have to get going. Easy access on and off interstate 5. Good job!

Omg I absolutely loved this place. This place the food, the service, and the ambiance is amazing across the board They were so good. I had to come here twice while I was visiting in LA. I'm a big fast food guy and the fast food was really really good and I like the coffee as well. Although I'm more of a cold coffee drinker which they're cold, coffees could use some work. They're more creative as far as hot coffees go Now I will say there is definitely going to be await if you can't either. A schedule ahead or something? Don't think you're just going to walk in but I can easily say anytime. I'm going to be visiting LA. This is going to be my fast food spot. I haven't found a better burger yet out there I would say if you can get in or if you have the patience to wait in the line I would check them out for sure

Extremely slow service. Waited 20 minutes for a burger. The entire staff walked out for about 5 minutes and left the restaurant empty. The bathroom is absolutely filthy and appears not to have been cleaned in days.
Update: I tried it again after about a year later. The bathroom is still absolutely filthy. Looks like about 3 days' worth of piss all over the floors.

Honestly I love the habit burger & grill, but this time was not good. Normally every Habit grill I go to the sandwich’s are always cooked throughly. When I seen everyone getting their dine- in sandwiches the lettuces looked so nice and delicious however my sandwich was a to go. It looked to be shredded and a tad bit old. I was so disappointed. To add on, I got teriyaki sauce and couldn’t even taste it. The chicken was also burnt a tad bit. I love the Habit but I was disappointed with this particular locations service.

Awful, my family ate a meal from Habit burger and they’ve been sitting since they ate it. They couldn’t sleep from staying up all night throwing up and still in the morning they’re sick.

Update: they did in fact get food poisoning from eating here

Food was great. We ordered the classic burger, chicken salad, and tuna burger. All came out great. It was a long line as we visited there on Sunday. We skipped the register and went straight to order it via the touch screen device. Not sure why other customers rather waited in line to order than use the machine.

I wouldn't recommend this location. Staff is not very friendly. They mess up your order and can't fix it or refund your money. They have even gone as far as put a tip on the bill and not even tell me they added one on. Go to IN-N-OUT BUGER it's better service and better prices.

Stopped there on way back to Fresno. Service was rude. They gave my order to someone else and I had to wait longer. They have no structure just food flying o er to pass then sent out. Didn't give napkins. You had to order napkins? Didn't under stand that. Ordered extra ranch, and was told when I asked where it was that I had to repay for it. WTH. It was not a pleasant experience.

We were at hour 5 on a long drive in a long day, and it made for a great first day for our family trip! Clean nd great food too!

It's probably the worst Habit Restaurant I've ever been to. The employees didn't seem to want to be there. The fries were literally cold to the touch at the bottom of the basket. The ones on top were hot, though.
The burger was a bit on the dry side.
This was about 8pm on a Monday night.
Never thought I would have something bad to say about a Habit Burger.

The worst customer service I've ever had at a habit grill. And stood at the counter for several minutes and had to grab my own drink cup. Then I went to the lime aid station and it was just water. I went to the counter and said there's only water at the limeade dispenser and the customer service person said "yeah we ain't got none". Then I had to stand there for several minutes and get an extra ranch kit. The men's bathroom was closed and when I tried to use it they just said out of order not. I'm sorry it's out of order or There's a bathroom next door.

As a trucker who frequently parks across the street at the TA, I can confidently say that The Habit Burger Grill offers the best prices for the quality of food in the area. After trying numerous fast food joints nearby, I’ve found that their non-filling combos don’t compare to the satisfying meals here. The food quality is exceptional, and to top it off, the restrooms were clean. Highly recommend here to my fellow truckers as well. You or your gut the following morning won’t be disappointed!

I ate here on the evening of March 4th. Staff were very helpful in helping me find wonderful tasty food that was safe for me to eat given my food wheat and dairy allergies. The food was absolutely
great and the service was exceptional. It is very rare for me to find a restaurant that understands food allergies and has plenty of wonderful options especially in the fast food industry.

I ordered the combo and was told it would be .50 additional to get the 50/50 fries and onion rings in place of the fries. I was then charged individually for each item. It was very difficult to get someone's attention after I looked at my receipt, wondering how the price increased so much. I asked them to take the drink off, I'm more water than soda. I was then given back $2.99. I had to ask how much was it with tax before I was given back the correct amount. On top of all that the burger was not good at all and neither were the fries 🍟.

God blessed the hands that grilled our chicken. Outstanding food and service. Eating this chicken drenched me in a world of flavour. Please be careful eating this chicken while driving, not for the inexperienced roadtripper. THIS IS THE AMERICAN DREAM. Wouldnt expect anything less from the Bakersfield Habit near the outlet mall. Jacki and Cristina are a great example of going above and beyond customer service expectations my family and I where driving back from LA and stop here it was our first time since we came in we got eye contact and smiles. This two ladies are awesome because of them will continue to eat at Habitt Burger. I don't remember the gentleman name but we were going sit at a dirty table and he offered to clean it. I am sure I would stop by here in my next drive on I-5. I found this Habit Burger Grill spot in the Tejon outlets at Arvin just before the Grapevine climb. The food is delicious and the fries were crispy. This place has a drive thru, so you can order burgers on the go. There is enough seating for small and large groups. The interior is well lit and with the rush of people, they seem to be pretty good at handling the line. At the peak, you would just be waiting for less than 10 minutes in line to order. They do have pickles and marinated chilies to garnish your food. The Tempura Green beans is a must try. They have options for vegetarian and vegan too. The orders seem to be fast moving and the kitchen is keeping well at the pace in getting out food on time.

Staff were friendly and helpful, that’s the good part.

Tables were dirty, we had to wipe it down ourselves. Their menu boasts many shakes and ice cream-based desserts, but none were available because they were out of ice cream.

Then they had the audacity to prompt for a tip when paying. For counter service where we placed our own order and made our own drinks (and wiped our own table, then bussed it when we were done) 🤣.

Most egregiously though was the thickness of the chicken on my grilled chicken sandwich. They took a single chicken breast, sliced it into four layers, took one layer, cooked it, and served it on a bun for $9.

Yet another example of corporate greed taking hold of what could be a unique chain location. You wanna charge $9 for a grilled chicken breast sandwich? Then provide a chicken breast, not 1/4 of one. Want your workers to earn a living wage? Then pay them fairly instead of prompting the same customers you’ve ripped off to paying the wage for you.

There’s a Habit near my home, I’ve only been a few times, but now that I see how they currently operate, they won’t be considered by my family.

This Habit has a very warm atmosphere with amazing people. The staff is nice and make sure the place looks nice. The only problem was that either the bun or the patty on the Double Char was dry and didnt taste like a usual Double Char. Other than that amazing place to go eat with your family and friends!

Average interstate chain restaurant. I regret getting the spicy chicken sandwich...which is not spicy and hardly a sandwich. More like a chicken Baggett or a chicken slider. I would still go back and try something else. Place is clean and service is pretty fast even when it's packed.

Location Laval road in Arvin, CA spacious very busy clean. Stopped by on the way to Dinuba California. Appreciate the Habit Burger. After the meal, skipped the ice cream because the line got so long.
