Usually always a good Experience! Then one Friday night I bought 5 pounds of Taco Meat and when I went to season it there was a very strong nasty odor! It smelt rotten. The next day I went to take it so they could smell it and be sure not to serve it to anyone else. Thinking it would be nice to let them know. The lady came back from the meat counter after talking to the butcher with the worst Attitude! I did not ask for my $$ back or anything. I just wanted to be sure they didn't try to sell it to anyone else. They were extremely rude and said they will Not give me a refund! I never asked for a refund. I wouldn't even feed that meat to a dog!
Unfortunately because of this experience ill never go there again and ill be sure to tell everyone I know about how rude the clerk was.

They also keep salsas and other food stuff consumed raw in the meat case which I'm sure is probably a health code violation since meat can contaminate raw foods and make people sick or even kill them.

We have visited this bakery several times and just keep finding more good things to eat! As my mother in law is in a care center there our visits will be regular! Thank you, highly suggest!

Bread is good when is fresh but they always mix it with the old hard one

Clean, organized, and great customer service. Friendly staff. Meat department friendly butchers. Great Quality meat always fresh. Not like the vallarta the meat is sticky when you touch it or even the chicken. Here at the mexicana the bread is always coming out warm the birotes are delicious and they continue to stay fresh the next morning not like vallartas bread it stales by the next morning.

Delicious Bread & good meat. The prices ok for the type of store it is, obviously is more expensive than a supermarket but if you want to save time on long lines it is a good opcion.
