Pieology Pizzeria Tejon Ranch, CA

What a lovely experience, I ordered a custom pizza online and I have a gluten & dairy allergy. When I came to pick it up the team member at the counter informed me that he was just boxing up my pizza, it took about 5mins to do so due to him taking the time to make sure to only use clean cutters and spatula. He was friendly, professional, and communicated with me very professional and oh my the pizza it was the best pizza from Pieology I’ve had in years, I haven’t had it made this good since I worked at a pieology myself. I can’t comment on the bathrooms as they were being cleaned at the time but I have to say I would 10/10 stop here again. Unfortunately did get the name of the team member’s name but I order 16/12 @ 8:35 and he had a long beard.

My wife daughter, and I went in there around 12pm on 12/2 and all ordered 3 separate things. My wife and I have been throwing up and pooping for the last 2 hours. I’ve never felt so sick in my life and won’t be surprised if I go to the hospital tonight. The only ingredient we shared and that my daughter didn’t have were olives so my guest is they are bad. Everything taste great and people are nice but my wife and I are legit violently ill.

The pizza was good. I like just pepperoni on my pizza, so I can't really comment beyond that. Lots of choices for toppings and the workers are friendly and very helpful.

We ordered two regular and one cauliflower crust pizza. Our party received the two regular pizzas well before the cauliflower crust pizza and they seemed pleased enough with those. In fact they were almost gone by the time we got the cauliflower crust pizza it had been so long. As far as gluten-free goes this pizza was tough. One person in our group almost took her eye out breaking off a piece of crust to eat as it cracked and shot a piece of the hard crust right at her face, consider yourself warned. I only had the cauliflower crust pizza so I can only speak to that but it was not the best and definitely not worth the wait. The other pizzas were nothing special either, they had a Margherita and a Hawaiian. I did love the quote wall.

This pizza place is top notch! I stopped here for a bite to eat on the way to the Tejon outlets. The pizzas (come in a hefty individual size) were made fresh in front of me with quality dough and ingredients. These pizzas were delicious, fresh and tasty...honestly such a great pizza. Pieology has a variety of beverages, including beer and wine. The customer service was friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Also family friendly!! Overall excellent experience and would highly recommend.

Picked up a mobile order about 20 minutes before close which I understand can be inconvenient but isn’t reason for the quality of the food to be poor. Not even half of the ingredients that I ordered were on my pizza and they closed the doors as soon as we left which was 20 minutes before the advertised close. The bathrooms were also blocked off and we had side items missing. The workers were nice but were obviously in a hurry to leave and didn’t give much attention to the order.

Its 9pm on a Saturday, theyre open until 1030 pm but only for take out only and if youre paying with a card. Wish I could tell you how the food tasted. Wont come back to find out.

The workers didnt attach our order number to our food, so they just left it sitting there on the counter and never called our name. Then when we told them that we were waiting for 30 minutes for our order, they were shocked and finally gave us our food. Of course it was cold, and we didnt wanna wait longer for them to make a new one, so we just left with our cold pizza. Very annoyed and disappointed..

This pizzeria is one of my favorites but I stopped now. To eat here at 5555 lava rd tejón ranch and a girl who serves by the name of SAMANTHA I think she has problems with her being because of her notorious razism and bad attention, not very courteous, despotic and without charisma, I recommend that if you do not want to have a displeasure with the attention Dont come, they usually dont let you know when your pizza is ready, much less bring it to your table like others, and let it get cold.

We love piology normally but this was not a great experience. We bought 4 pizzas and a drink. When we asked for a water cup they refused to give it to us and said if we wanted water we would have to buy a cup for a dollar. The toppings were super light and the staff was just rude. We won t stop at this location again.

I love Pieology pizza today 2:00 pm I stoped to order a pizza stood there for 7 minutes nobody in the store no one at the counter, no employees around . Finally seen a gentleman in the back asked him if they were open usually this place is packed . Finally a lady pregnant comes out what not hi nothing ordered a cauliflower crust her what base butter garlic straight attitude asked for more cheese lol a couple sprinkles if I m paying 20 for a pizza I want it how I want it after seeing how she and her attitude told her to keep it and walked out . Really thats the only help u can find sure this place won t be around long with workers like this

The two employees who were working Friday night March 22 were amazing. Unfortunately, they were the only ones there. They did so much without enough support from others. Maybe someone called in sick? Either that or the owners need to hire more people to support them. Either way, whoever they were they deserve a raise. Food was amazing.

Stopped to eat on my way home from our trip. They were not very About three customers ahead of me. They only had three people working. The guy that was making the pizzas must ve been new because he was taking forever to make one pizza. It took me literally 15 minutes from the start of my order until I paid. The food came out relatively quick, however, it was cold. The inside of our sausage was not heated through. I ordered a total of three pizzas. My husband was so hungry. He finished his pizza even though it was cold. My son as well. I however, wanted hot food. I asked him to reheat my pizza, and they kept the wax paper on when they put it in the oven. My pizza came out very hot. However, when I try to The pizza was stuck too the wax paper. So I ended up getting bits of wax paper as I was eating. I was just frustrated overall. I did complain, and they gave me my money back. Overall, it was an experience. The total for three of my cauliflower pizzas was $58. If I m gonna pay that much money, I would like hot fresh food.

Waited inline for almost 30 minutes and then was told it was dine in only. They were almost out of boxes and were only giving them out with online orders. So after paying for two sodas I find out they are also out of Coke! The trash cans area overflowing, tables are messy and the employees are working very slowly. So when I m done eating they won t even give me a box for our leftovers from 2 pizzas. I won t be back.

It started off bad. While one worker made our pizzas another worker was making his own pizza and was putting seasoning on it right over our pizzas and the seasoning were falling on our pizzas. We let that slide. We waited over 20 minutes for our pizza. There was a long line and only one worker making the pizzas. My husband asked another worker if our pizzas were done as we could see there were just sitting there and the worker said he was on break and it would be against the law for him to check. My husband came back to our table then the guy on break finally came out and called out our number. The pizza crust was burned on some parts and hard. The toppings were ok. The price was way too much. Will never go here again. Better off getting a Little Cesars pizza or going to Blaze pizza.

This is a fun way to make a custom pizza. You will pass through an assembly line similar to Chipotle choosing your desired toppings as you go. Then you get to watch your pizza get cooked. Very fun way to feed a family with different tastes. Lots of fun toppings like corn, spinach, pineapple, plus all the regulars. Vegetarian options: They offered vegan cheese and veggie sausage as topping choices.

Let me start this review off by saying that the pizzas were delicious. My problem was with the employees working. I understand that there was just two of them and that they were getting slammed, but the attitude was TERRIBLE. I felt like I was at McDonald s with how poor the customer service was. I have the names of the two employees who were working but honestly I feel like their customer service skills reflect on the poor management, being understaffed, not properly trained, and not having a manager anywhere in site to deal with the complaints. One of our pizza s was burnt on the bottom and the employee offered to remake it which was super nice. They had a line of 12 people and so we kept the pizza to help alleviate any stress that would have been placed on these employees to remake a pizza. As for the customer service, I witnessed an employee argue with a customer who asked for her 2 sides of ranch. She had paid for them on her Mobile order and even showed the worker her receipt which was on her phone. She was extremely hesitant and finally gave her the 2 ranches. Why the heck was there not a manager to handle this?!?? Why was a shift lead having to? Besides this, the food was great like I said and the restaurant was pretty clean. We eat at a Pieology closer to home that we love, so when we saw this location after visiting the outlets, we decided to stop for lunch. What a disappointment!! Service was terrible, food was horrible, and husband said the men s bathroom was dirty. Two people helped us and they shouldn t be working in any capacity that requires interaction with people. And they also should learn how to make pizzas if that s their primary role at a pizza place. The young woman that made our pizzas didn t even attempt to spread the sauce evenly and left a big blob of sauce on one part of the pizza and when I told her I wanted red sauce, I didn t even have time to tell her light on the sauce before she dumped the sauce on the dough ... when I told her lighter on the sauce she just scraped some of it off and made a mess of the pizza and still left a blob of sauce on one part of the pizza and didn t bother to spread it evenly. She was just as sloppy at making the rest of the pizza when adding the toppings and my husbands pizza was just as bad. They didn t have name tags but our receipt has the name Juan as our server ... the other person was a young woman that wore glasses. They didn t greet you, didn t really make eye contact and it just seemed like they hate their jobs. As we waited for our poorly made pizzas to be done, we watched them interact in the same way with every customer. Our pizzas weren t even cut all the way through ... we had to tear our pizza apart to eat it. Yes, we could have asked one of them to cut it again ... but given our initial interaction with them, we didn t want to deal with them again. Are employers finding it that difficult to find good employees these days or do some employers just not care about how their customers are treated and the product that they re putting out there? Sadly, this location will probably do just fine since I can t imagine they have a lot of repeat customers. I would imagine the majority of their customer base are people passing through while traveling to their destination so they ll always get new customers. We should have walked out before paying the minute we experienced the service but we decided to give them the benefit of the doubt but it only got worse from there. Thankfully this wasn t our first experience with a Pieology, otherwise we d probably never eat at a different location again. The Pieology that we do frequent is like night and day from this one. My suggestion is to skip this one and try a different location.

The staff are very accommodating and friendly. This is our spot for lunch every time we go to the outlets. The pizza is custom made and you can select your own flavors and toppings. You can watch your pizza being made in the oven. My favorite is the Pesto Sauce. The parking is plenty and I would definitely recommend this location.

I had high hopes for this place because you get the appearance of a premium pizza restaurant. However, I wasnt really impressed. I ordered the buffalo chicken pizza and got mostly buffalo sauce with very little chicken. Each piece that I ate consisted of two or three pieces of chicken. Because there was so little chicken, the buffalo sauce was overwhelming. It almost felt like the pizza consisted of bread and buffalo sauce. I also ordered the thick crust pizza which added several dollars onto the price. For pizza that cost me almost $20, I would expect more. Another thing I noticed is the bathroom is out of order. I came here sometime back and it was out of order then too. Im not sure whats going on, but they really need to get on those bathrooms, especially because were always traveling when we come through here and we need to use the restroom. This time around they didnt even have soap in the dispensers and I had to put a bunch of soap on my hand and give it to my wife so she could wash her hands in the ladies restroom. The service was good, but I think there were too few people working. With the amount of work that goes into each pizza, you need to have more people working. I dont like waiting in line forever when I just want to eat lunch and leave. If you dont have a lot of time, then you should go somewhere else. But if youve got plenty of time and you like to drink buffalo sauce, this is your place.

Ordered a thic crust pizza and it was literally so small, and burnt. I told the associate about it when he called my name, and he told me that it s thic, to not worry about it. What made me mad though was how burnt it was, made my teeth hurt and I did not enjoy it at all. Not worth $23 in my opinion. Could ve had more better options around for what I spent. Smh

My wife, my two kids(3.5 yrs and 1.8 yrs old) and I, ordered 3 pizzas. The young gentleman helped us all by himself while the two other employees were prepping. I couldnt thank him enough for bringing the pizzas to our table when they were busy. Everyone there was very nice and courteous. A great experience when we were passing through just like most. Thanks again to the pieology team that worked on 7/25/22 around 11am.

Stopped by for a quick bite coming back from Newport Beach. I was accidentally over charged for my order which I didn t realize. After a few minutes the manager notified me that I was over charged and returned the money to me! What a honest location. Will make make this location our go to stop when traveling down south.

They called to let us know that they were out of Gluten free pizza which was very nice. The problem came when we were still charged over $50 for the order we canceled and weve been unsuccessful with getting a refund after numerous calls.

We ve been to this Pieology numerous times on road trips and it s always been dependable and delicious. However, their restroom policy needs to change. They have keypads on the doors which I know is a normal practice to deter people from using the restroom without buying anything. However, the cashier refused to give us the code even though we said we were going to get in line and buy something afterwards. The line was at least 15 people deep. We had been driving for four hours. Who is really going to wait in a long line for a code when they have to pee right now?! We went to the Habit around the corner and gave them our business instead. Pieology, please change this policy and let your loyal customers relieve themselves before buying something if needed.

Tried to stop here for lunch while traveling. Really needed to use restroom but the line was long so we asked for bathroom code, said we were going to get in line afterwards, and was told we can t get the code unless we wait in the line and buy food first. I have the app and frequently get food at Pieology locations but will not return to this location due to this locations policy for the restroom.

Loved the way we had unlimited choice for veggie toppings and the pie itself was delicious ... would recommend it to pizza lovers for sure.

Stopped in to try this joint , dude pulled a pizza out and it was black/burnt. We turned around and found another place for dinner. Also, pizza is super small for $14.

EXCELLENT SERVICE!!! This was one of my most favorite experiences at a Pieology. The service was great! The food was great!! The place was very clean and all of our pies were DELICIOUS!! I highly recommend it! I would definitely come back!

This was one of the worse restaurants we have gone it a long time. They were out of mozzarella cheese (at a pizza joint), alot of their veggies and meats, plus drinking cups. It was dirty and rude staff. The pizza was lacking in flavor except for the burnt crust. They did one thing well. The got us to go to the gas station next door to get something to get rid of the after taste of the pizza. We will never go back.

My first visit, and wont be my last. The staff was awesome. Very patient and helpful, couldnt believe the amount topping at no extra cost. And it was delicious.

They were short handed, but kept positive attitudes, juggling all the store duties. The girl (nametag was blurred) who made our pizzas gave reasonable/generous portions of every topping (at other locations, we keep having to ask to have more put on).

On my birthday I choose a place to eat and this was it not going to lie for me this the best pizza I ever ate all on my own. Pretty awesome with the build your own pizza!

I was travelling with my 2 kids (ages 14 & 11) from Orange County and we were staying at the nearby Hampton Inn. My daughter saw the restaurant when we were almost to the hotel and was in the mood for pizza and since my son was also game for a pie, I decided to go try it out. Upon walking in, it looked very similar to Z Pizza that we have down in the OC and I should have taken that as a clue. I was super hungry so I decided to order our pies with thick crust. That turned out to be the biggest mistake. Not only was there a $1.50 extra charge for the thick crust, the thickness meant that it wasnt cooked all the way through. My bill was just over $33 with the purchase of 1 drink and we ended up only being able to finish 1 slice of pizza each. The under cooked crust made it unpalatable and the thickness of it filled our tummies up pretty quickly. Needless to say, I was annoyed at having paid so much for food that was not very good and the fact that we could only get through half of it made it that much worse. If a restaurant offers a particular dish, it should be something that they can cook to the appropriate doneness using their chosen method of cooking. If not, it shouldnt be on the menu in the first place.

One of the worst pieology locations: Pizza costs more than all other pieologies Waited over 30 minutes to get the pizza made, wasnt busy at all Employees would make pizzas for the regulars before others who are ahead in the line Dont know how to use gift cards Dirty bathroom with a super long access code They dont care about customers, go elsewhere

Ordered online and still had to wait. They started it only once I showed up at pick up time. They were out of onions and no one asked if they could sub it for anything else. Really bad looking pizza. Pepperoni one on top of another. Baking only on one side. Resulted in a mediocre tasting pizza. I love piology but this location sucks.

Place is horrible, they do not care about customer service at all, served us half cooked deep dish pizza, when we asked them to put it back in oven they pretended to put it back in and brought it back in 5 min exactly how it was before
