Vallarta Supermarkets

Food is often expired and very over priced! You would think that Being the largest Grocery Store in such a Low Income Community that they would Support that ultimately keep their Business open, By keeping prices a bit more reasonable! But, hay why would they when they are the only store that carries most things in Arvin! Why not just take advantage of the Community and Make their lives a bit harder by charging unreasonable prices for low quality goods. Knowing a lot of these people are already struggling, no vehicles etc. so they have No Choice but, to shop there. I really hope that we get a new Mega Grocery store that will come in and sell better quality goods at a more affordable price for our community and their families! So many times I've had to shop here in a pinch and I see families struggle to buy simple things that are absolutely ridiculously priced for no reason at all.

CLEAN PUBLIC BATHROOM NEEDED! CURRENT EMPLOYEE ONE IS AWFUL. MANAGEMENT NEEDS TO ADDRESS CUSTOMERS PARKING WRONGFUL IN FRONT OF STORE IN HANDICAP SPOTS, AWFUL DISREGARD

food department very disappointed tried to get an orden of mexican meatball but they serve the food in a plastic container it feels that it's going to melt How come you stop serving el caldo properly in a plate
that thing is a bought my own bowl 🥣 hoping to get my caldo de albondigas I asked the lady if she could wash it after i paid for it
told her I don't like my food in the plastic she refused sayings she wasn't allowed to wash it what a poor costumer service I paid for my own bowl I have no choice to return it and forget about my hot meal won't buy hot food anymore till start serving in a different container

My wife is from Mexico. She likes this store. She usually manages to buy the makings of multiple meals for less than other major supermarkets. The produce is good quality, and they carry a wide selection of fresh meats. It seems like the meat prices are a little lower, too. I definitely recommend this market; just be prepared for a crowd because it's popular!

The store was very clean and products were in their place. The employees were super nice and helpful. I forgot how much I like shopping at Vallarta. I do think a Customer Restroom needs to be put in. The little bathroom is in bad shape compared to the rest of the store.

Un asco.ayer fui y encontré un tocino con un pelo adentro del empaque.y hoy fui a comprar un pastel y me mandaron a pagarlo ala caja.y como alos 30 minutos regrese con el recibo y mi pastel No estaba puesto en una caja y estaban 3 mujeres hablando encima del pastel poniendole saliba escupiendolo ca vez ke hablaban .ke asco te acen vomitar aunque no kieras

Prices at this particular store are beyond outrageous and if there was any other option I'd be the first to go. Plus side it's super clean and staff is awesome

The workers are wonderful, but whoever owns it is slowly diminishing the quality of the store and products while unnecessarily price gouging. This mostly affects the low income immigrants, elderly, and disabled since getting to Bakersfield may be difficult and Vallarta has a monopoly on supermarkets in Arvin. I think it is disgusting to do such a thing.

Attendants at the diary and meat department should have better care to costumer as I have been waiting to be helped with three other costumer there is none of the attendants helping the waiting for their products and services you can clearly see two and sometimes three of the attendants back in the store department cleaning their work environment as if they put more emphasis on cleaning their working equipment than to costumer already increasing and waiting to for the attendants to finish their what every thing their doing stand of helped the inpatient costumer
