Came here with family and it did not disappoint! I ordered the green chilaquiles with ribeye (chef s kiss) so delicious! Big enough to share. Their micheladas were also on point. Overall the service was great and the staff was very accommodating when asked to be seated inside as it began to slightly rain. Will definitely have to be back to try their breakfast molcajete!

This place is amazing . A little too small, but it serves great-tasting food . Come hungry or be prepared to take leftovers . The portions are huge! I ordered a Molcajete; the steak and chicken were cooked to perfection . Our server, Isabel, was great ; she explained the menu to us in detail, recommended some plates and drinks . I was celebrating my birthday . The margarita flight is awesome ; it comes with a light-up candle, a great alternative (if you drink) to a cake . I highly recommend this place .

Location: Good, Parking:Decent Service: needs support, Presentation: Decent, time from order to getting food : well over 20 minutes. Adjustment needed: add host to help with seating and silverware placement. Allow for more help to support high volume days and keep food waiting time down to necessary only. Overall: First time try. Took a bit long to get seated, get our order, and receive the meal. I can say I did enjoy the plate ordered and would like to try another dish on a different day. For this dinning experience I would give the restaurant... 3.6 Stars

Parking is very difficult. They share the same parking lot as the smart and final. The drinks were the only thing that were good but they weren t strong. I ordered the green Chilaquiles with egg and steak. My food was the last to get to our table of the eight of us that were eating. Each of our meals came at different times by the time I got my plate my food was cold. The cheese was hard and the chips were soggy. Myself, and two others in my party do not like spicy food. We asked the waitress if the food was spicy and she said no, of course it was spicy. We did not eat most of our meal even the beans were spicy. The waiter was nowhere to be found to even even ask for an exchange. It was a very disappointing experience place, considered all the good reviews. Even the customer service was bad we d ask for extra silverware and it took a while for them to bring it. We also asked if they can please turn on one of the heaters and in the three hours we were there no one bothered to do that for us.

For anyone that enjoys food, this place sucks. The picture of the guac is basically the vibe. They shoveled plain avocado onto a plate and sprinkled cheese and tomato over it. I got margaritas, the lime one is extremely thick and sweet. Straight syrup. Best part was the free chips and salsa Never coming back

They had an amazing dragonfruit margarita with a cute garnish on top also had the blackberry mojito and a guava margarita . I recommend a double it does the job haha also really enjoyed the pork belly bites and the shrimp lollipops as an appetizer! And I also forgot to mention the star of the show the ribeye chilaquiles the best ribeye and chilaquiles I ve ever had . The chipotle sauce and green was my fav . Def coming back . ASK FOR. Jasmine she went above and beyond and made the experience ten times better .

The atmosphere is really bad. It makes me feel I entered in a cheap place. The room is small, there is only one restroom for men and one for women, if you need to use it you have to be in line and the restrooms are located right in front of the tables! It is very uncomfortable to be in line with everyone watching you, but if you gen in the line you will not be able to use it. The prices are really really high for the place. I really feel the place is overpriced and on top of that they automatically added 20% tip!. I would not mind to pay the price if the experience is great but I do not recommend to bring your date here.

We waited a very long time for our food. We didnt expect it to be so busy at 1:30pm on a Friday but it was packed. The Dodgers parade had a lot of patrons who braved the crowds, come here after. Says a lot about the place. TVs, easy minimal and clean decor but the chilaquiles are why you come here. Wow. Best in town or at a minimum best in SGV. Just wish the service was faster

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic establishment, and I can confidently say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the welcoming atmosphere set the stage for what would be an unforgettable evening. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between cozy and elegant, making it ideal for both casual meals and special date nights. Now, let s talk about the food absolutely amazing! Each dish is a celebration of flavor and presentation, showcasing a diverse menu that truly has something for everyone. Whether youre a fan of hearty entrees or lighter fare, youll find choices that delight the palate. I decided to indulge in a few signature dishes, and they were nothing short of spectacular. The ingredients tasted fresh, and you could tell that every meal was crafted with care and attention to detail. Order the flights! While the prices are on the higher side, I genuinely believe you get what you pay for here. The quality and creativity of the food, paired with the exquisite service, justify the cost. Speaking of service, it was impeccable. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, making sure our glasses were filled and that we didn t need anything throughout the meal. Overall, this place is a hidden gem that I can t wait to revisit. It has all the right elements for a perfect night out delicious food, a warm atmosphere, and top-notch service. Whether youre looking for a romantic evening or simply a lovely dinner with friends, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. I wholeheartedly recommend it and will be returning soon to explore more of their menu!

My husband and I saw this restaurant being promoted on Instagram so we had to come and try it we had pork belly bites guac and chips and the molcajate Pork belly bites which were recommended by waiter where underwhelming pork belly was crunchy but sauce after couple bites became too sweet had the consistency of orange chicken Guac and chips was a total miss for me felt like my recipe was better than that was missing like and spice I did like the queso fresco on top but still wasn t sufficient enough to save this dish MOLCAJATE-the menu says for two people but only comes with one plate of rice and beans molcajate comes with a side of guacamole(would of been nice before we order guac and chips waiter should of said something) portion was decent but over priced compared to other restaurants for these items paid over $100 definitely not worth the price there are plentiful of other restaurants that do a better job and we feel that we weren t attended well he checked in only once the whole time we were there wasn t worst experience but definitely makes us not to want to come back

I met up with a customer at this location and we were lucky to snag a table right away. Soon after, larger parties started arriving and had to wait. Our waitress was friendly and helpful, advising us to order quickly since the kitchen was getting busy. We started with a couple of appetizers the pork belly bites and shrimp lollipops which were fantastic. I also tried the cucumber lemonade, which was incredibly refreshing, especially in the heat. We ordered the chilaquiles for our main course, but by then, we were already full, so most of it was packed to go. I ll definitely recommend this place to clients. Since I work remotely, it s a perfect halfway point for meetings.

Sharing my personal experience from today 10/4/27 I honestly came here because a few friends kept on talking about this place and heard good things on TikTok about it also but in my experience the place is over hyped,Jazmine was great, atmosphere was neutral not good not bad,I ordered a coffee and chilaquiles burrito with steak.the coffee was really bad it tasted like burnt coffee with no flavor at all,the taste in the chilaquiles sauce was really good but the meat was so chewy and had no flavor.portion was decent size(I got full with half) I notice there s a big menu for drinks (did not tried any but look good) but not much options for food.maybe I ll try it again but definitely over hyped.

Approximately 10 people went to eat and of everything that was ordered the only redeemable thing was the ribeye steak, the most horrible and horrible chilaquiles I have ever eaten, the meat that came in the molcajete was also very dry and the chicken was not good roast, in their Instagram posts they paint the dishes very pretty but they are very ugly without flavor and dry, the guacamole felt like it had already been refrigerated for many many days, the chips were half stale and in relation to quality and price it is very expensive for the quality of their food, it is not worth it.

NEVER AGAIN.... Really, I tried to like some of the stuff they brought to the table but the only thing worth finishing was the strawberry lemonade, we ordered asada tacos (way too bland), pastor tacos (tasted like a different type of meat), fried calamari (way too salty), wagyu burgers (barely had any meat), fish tacos (the rice tasted weird)... Well, props to our waitress Isabel who heard our complaints and brought a free churro dessert, that was really good. However, for sure this is the first and last time we will be here ...

The food is amazing. The lower stars were for service. We arrived at 11 am on Friday. Walked right in and was seated. Our waitress kept roaming around and moved very slowly. Our drinks took 10-15 minutes to get a Diet Coke & ice tea. The food took a while but we got the ribeye chiliquilles and they were worth the wait. We were done for 15 minutes and kept asking for a take home box and check. The waitress was wandering around chatting with other staff. When she returned with our box she left again before we could get our check. Again we had to wait. The icing on the cake was that she mentioned when we finally got the bill a gratuity would be appreciated. She was pleasant but seemed lost. I didn t give my normal 20% but it was still 18%. Maybe some training would be in order. Again the food was amazing, only wish the service would have been more on point for a $73 lunch for two.

The mimosa flights and their variety was worth the price and experience. Definitely check this place out but, make sure you set aside the time.

20 minutes wait time is basically an hour, so plan accordingly. Food and atmosphere leaves nothing to be desired. Never got any steak despite receipt saying so, and my burrito was 3/4 beans and eggs. They bring out extremely smoky sparklers on mimosa and cocktail samplers. Then fills entire space with smoke, during summer, with windows closed. Not sure what those sparklers achieve. Huge disregards for infants and those with sensitive lungs. Basically more of a nightclub scene. This gentleman comes to wipe vent above our table, and does it right on top of a kid and drips water all over the table. Could have just moved us a bit to the right. Well, that s not what we expected for a brunch spot, and rather left disappointed

We decided to try this place out as we were in the mood for some Mexican food. The layout of the place is interesting. Like most Mexican fusion restaurants, the music was quite loud, so we decided to sit outside on a very nice patio. The service was quick, and they are generous with napkins. The drink we ordered was delicious. The food was fine but a little overwhelming for us. The flavors were really strong in every dish we ordered. Sometimes it was hard to taste the food itself because it was overpowered by all the sauce and spices. Its not bad if one enjoys heavily spiced food, but it was definitely too much for us. Its not a bad place to enjoy good service and drinks. Parking: In a shopping center, lots of parking Kid-friendliness: Kids can enjoy every dish they offer as well Wheelchair accessibility: Easy for everyone, no steps whatsoever. Just a small ramp.

So i heard they just opened and had great food per Instagram. So we drove all the way out there. This was our first time here and torn about coming back. The service was amazing. The young lady who was are waitress was so sweet and on top of her tables, but the food was slow to come out, and they got the order wrong. I order a plain breakfast just pancakes and eggs amd it was nothing special about it. They are known for their brunch items and drinks. Other people around us ordered brunch items and it looked and smelled amazing. I will give it another try. Hopefully they will get it a better roll out from the kitchen.

Lets see if they can delete my comment from here. They blocked me from Instagram for saying their chilaquiles looked like chips with can sauce, honestly they dont even look like real chilaquiles. Was willing to give this place a try (not with the chilaquiles) but I guess its a big NO

Came here to have dinner for the first time and it didn t disappoint. We had the nachos (they are a must and my favorite thing we had there by far) the grilled fish tacos (a little bland) and a Jamaica which was refreshing and perfectly sweetened. There is plenty of parking, service is good and the food tastes home made and fresh. Would recommend and come again.

Food flavor was very good! Chilaquiles were amazing both green and red. We got crema on the side. French toast comes with jam, which I thought I wasn t going to like but it really went with the flavor. Ribeye chilaquiles were a bit too pricey, @ $45 next time I d get the regular for $15 and add the eggs. Pancakes a bit plain - not as fluffy, but they really dressed them well with berries and Nutella. Overall, really enjoyed the meal.

came here for our first time, (4 of us!) the aguas frescas were extremely watered down, the glasses for water smelled unclean, the ribeye steak chilaquiles were 10/10, the only great thing about our visit today. Jose, our waiter was very inattentive and hostile, he seemed to catch an attitude a few times, we tried to bother him as little as possible. overall, we tried to enjoy our time, will not return and will not recommend either. maybe it wasn t meant for us, we had high hopes but it still sucked! 1/10 :(

Great place for a latin brunch. Got the rib eye was a lot of fat on mine and not as much meat to be so expensive. Bad cut of meat that day as a chef. I know it can happen. Other than that, the food was great, and the drinks were tasty. I went in a day they had a big party where service was all over the place. Parking: Place shares parking with other retailers so can be limited

Went there for dinner for a friends birthday based on the reviews. The restaurant is in a venue that shares the parking lot with Smart n Final and some apartments. There are lots of signs where parking isnt permitted, so one needs to be careful of that. We noticed the gauche decorations in the patio but decided that it doesnt matter if the food is good. The menu promised a couple of options for vegetarians, nothing for vegans. It also advertises sushi. We got seated right away. Shortly thereafter, the server came to our table and told us many options were unavailable (sushi, charcuterie board, and a couple of others). We asked if the potato taquitos were available, as advertised on their menu. She returned a minute later to tell us they were not available. As the vegan in the party, that left me with the one option I didnt want: veggie tacos. (Im a runner and needed carbs for dinner). I asked whether the tortilla soup had any meat in it, and she said it didnt, but its just made with chicken stock. Some basic knowledge of vegetarian/vegan palates wouldve been helpful. Then the girl proceeded to tell me they had salmon, fish tacos, asada, etc. She also kept on pushing the endless drinks like the margaritas and the margarita flight for $45! The prices are high and dont reflect the venue itself. They seem reflective of the gauche decor, especially in the patio, rather than the entrée options or service. We left, given our limited options, and wont be returning any time soon. While I realize meat is a staple if many Mexican entrées, in this day and age, restaurant owners should offer a couple of options for vegan/vegetarian options. The demographic is growing, and carnivores are also becoming more conscious of their eating habits; therefore, they make an effort to curb their meat consumption. Vegetarian options: There seems to be some confusion as to what a vegetarian diet is. They have veggie tacos and potato taquitos according to their site. They also recommend salmon and fish tacos which are pescatarian, not vegetarian. There are no vegan options at all!

Hello, my first time here, but they dont pay attention and it turns out that they had to send me a message which never arrived and they also make me wait another 20 minutes, too bad.

Review №177

Where do I start? I hate having to give 1-star reviews, but there were just too many red flags during my visit that cant be ignored. Tried going to this place for the first time for brunch and it ended up being a regrettable and forgettable experience. I put my name in for a table for two just 25 mins after they opened and waited the same amount of time just to be seated when the restaurant was only 15% full...so why did we wait so long? When I walked in to be seated, even though I counted 4-5 waiting staff walking or standing around near the entrance, apparently theres a rule that only the hostess can seat customers. So we lost another 5-7 minutes waiting for that. Luckily, the hostess and the waitress we got were both very kind and attentive, so they shouldnt get any of the blame here. After being seated, we ordered our drinks and food right away just because we knew what we wanted to have. We ordered a mimosa breakfast sampler, ribeye and chilaquiles plate, and the clandestino breakfast plate. While waiting for the food, the chips they brought us were mushy and lacked any flavor. A different male server came out and dropped off more drinks and napkins and didnt say a word. We were thinking are they not allowed to communicate with customers because they arent waiters? Like...who does that? The mimosas tasted completely watered down and lacked any unique flavor. Had to ask for napkins and silverware and salt & pepper instead of it just being brought over as soon as we sat down. When the actual food came out, we had more issues. Half of the ribeye steak was all fat, and Im not talking about just around the edges, it was literally half of the entire steak. The chilaquiles were bland, the two eggs looked more like one egg, and the French toast was average. For spending that kind of change on the meal we expected more. They share the parking lot with Smart & Final, so even though we didnt have trouble parking because it was early, I can see why others complain. You have to end up parking on the street or even worse, across the street if things are really busy because their parking lot is too small. The only real positive was the music and the company I was eating with. For a place with a higher than average price tag for food, an attempt at a high end feel judging by their neon signs and modern attempt at decor, and an added outdoor patio section thats really only there because the inside is too small, I felt it fails on many different levels. I wont be going back and wouldnt recommend others to go either, its really not worth it.

Very good food, and Id go again if maybe a friend wanted to go try it, but I dont think its something I would regularly go and get. The servers were very courteous and the food came out freshly cooked, so I didnt mind waiting (ordered the breakfast molcajete, which takes a little longer). Food was worth the wait. It is on the pricier side, but everything is these days. The hostess was nice, but they took kind of long to seat us (family of four). I saw that they set up the table for us right away, but took a while to finally seat us there. Everything looked clean, and they have an A letter grade. Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu. The kids breakfast was very good, and my sons loved it.

So today was the first time I went to this establishment and it was a disappointment. Mainly for the fact that a few people have said it was good. My experience was ok. First my waiter was very nice and fast. I had a coffee which was given to me with a dirty spoon. My waiter said they forgot to polish it. To which i said so you just rub the marks off and not wash it after? I work in a facility with a kitchen and when this happens its washed by hand than sent to the dish washer to sanitize. My food came quick. I ordered the chilaquiles with eggs. The beans were cold and tasted old. My chilaquiles tasted like they just got the chips from last night and put sauce over them. They were still good. I ate pretty much everything except the beans. The only hot item were the eggs. My potatoes were luke warm. Over all i didnt like the food. The waiter was very nice however. *i never used the spoon i just poured creamer into the coffee

Mixed feelings about this place, seemed disorganized and like staff Showed up late or something. We arrived at opening, werent given an exact time for wait, waited and hour, waiter seemed rushed took about an hour to get our foods. And drinks all came out at separate times. Molcajete was good, burger was okay fries were delicious, clandestino breakfast potatoes were the highlight, eggs were underwhelming and still runny, French toast was hard and the strawberry compote was not sweet . Drinks and music were good tho! Maybe brunch on this particular day was not it.
