Chose because it was close to evening plans and will be returning! The service was 10/10 - we had a main waiter for ordering but were served by multiple servers to get our food to us efficiently. Everything we had was tasty, but I loved the Poke Wrap (pictured) and would have it again as an easy lunch to go. My partner also enjoyed their sashimi salad - not pictured because he ate it so quickly.
It was easy to over order food - we had an additional cut roll and the carpaccio - so the portions are more than enough. We didn’t try any sake or beer, but the all day happy hour menu makes me keen to come back on a weekday!
I also enjoying the ceiling decor and the lighting - they truly made the most of the space.

Family had an absolutely delightful experience with mouth watering selection of sushi, rolls, ramen, bento box and more.

Highly recommend their amazing Popcorn Shrimp and Pop Shrimp Festival as not many places can get the "fried batter" right like they do. Crispy crunchiness was just amazing and purely perfect.

Tuna Capaccio, Fresh Oysters and Salmon Special roll are other MUST try menu items our family very much enjoyed and kids loved their Tonkotsu ramen and Bento box. Two thumbs up from them!!!

As many other reviews have indicated, their service is top notch and the ambiance is superb for family and friend get-togethers.

Glad to have stumbled upon Blufish, and we plan to frequent here and continue our journey of trying out all of their "highly raved" and great dishes!

Found this hidden gem on our way home from Los Angeles. The food was so fresh, made to order, and delicious. The macaroon ice cream sandwich was out of this world. The service was great. The atmosphere was quiet, cozy, and clean. I look forward to returning soon!

I work nearby to this place. My wife found it on maps because she wanted me to bring home some sushi after work, so it was very convenient for me to be right next door.

After the first time I brought it home, we fell in love with it and it has actually become a weekly tradition. I pick up sushi from here almost every Friday on my way home. The staff has started recognizing me when I get my order so that is always a fun feeling being a regular.

Everything we've tried so far, we loved. And the truly best part is that, as far as sushi goes, everything is fairly inexpensive. Their specialty rolls are about the same price as other sushi restaurants, but they have a really good list of rolls that are all under $10! My go-to is the Double Roll (raw) and my wife's go-to is the Baked Salmon Roll (cooked) because she doesn't like raw. Both of those are under $10. So we usually get those and get a lot more bang for our buck than from other restaurants.

I love coming here each week. If I didn't have such a long commute to work, I would come here more often as well. I love it here and I'm sure I'll be back again next week!

This place was really good. We love sushi and have been wanting to try this place since it is so close to home. We were not disappointed all sushi was fresh and the service was awesome. We got a few rolls and sashimi. My favorite is the citrus roll. Will be back now often and make this our go to sushi spot

Be careful ordering from this place, they don't honor their prices like shown in their page. They say they have the right phone number but wrong prices. They do have good food, but it would be nice to update their page.

I went here with my mans and it was 10/10. the food was fresh, down the wasabi and ginger omg. my favorite spot forever 🤞🏻 the waiters are so incredibly nice and overall the experience was just great. they totally care about their restaurant, clean and they even take time to put freshly cut flowers on the tables. 🥹

Had an amazing time at this cozy restaurant. Great atmosphere to dine with family and friends. The staff were so sweet & food was served beautifully. All the sushi and sashimi tasted so fresh. The salmon especially melted in my mouth. I would recommend the carpaccios served, especially the bluefin carpaccio. Definitely a must try & my all time favorite!!

20-30 minute wait to be seated (no check-in process). Once seated, waiting staff did not tend to our table at all. 20 minutes after being seated and ignored, I had to flag down a waitress to request water and input our order.

Then it took another hour for our food to arrive, which at this point, was 15 minutes before closing time. So by the time we got our food, everyone else was leaving and the kitchen staff was closing up. Sushi tasted like they had been sitting out for a while. No water refills either. Staff seemed only concerned about taking our payment as soon as possible.

I came to Blufish sushi restaurant to have lunch with my friends. employees are always friendly and the atmosphere in the restaurant is always good. I'm not sure if the owner has changed, but it seemed like some new menu items were added. Surprisingly, there were two types of Japanese ramen. One was Tonkotsu Ramen and the other was Spicy Seafood Ramen. I ordered Seafood Ramen and my friend ordered some new rolls. The ramen was spicy and delicious, and the sushi roll was refreshing and sweet. I'll have to try the tonkotsu ramen next time. I recommend trying two new types of ramen.

I went in for a bento meal. They only have at most a 2 item bento. Price is a bit on the high side. Salmon teriyaki is ok. Serving size is ok. What i dont like is the cut. I wish it was more of a steak cut. Mixed tempura is good. good aerving size. California rolls are good. I dont like the sachet wasabi. It wasnt enough for me. Overall The food is not bad for the price tho i wish it was better. Service is excellent.

Blufish is my go-to sushi joint for the Covina/Azusa area. The sushi is always top quality, which is the most important thing to me. Service is always really great which is a big plus. The hosts and servers are very friendly, even the sushi chefs go out of their way to greet you on your way in and out. The dining area is clean and nicely decorated which creates that nice vibe that transports you to a whole new place and allows you to relax and enjoy your meal. Prices are what's expected of sushi... it's not cheap but you get what you pay for.

OK, I have been to plenty of sushi places and said they were good. But this place, hands down, is the BEST sushi I have ever had! Not if, but when you go, you have to have the BLACK WIDOW. It's the freshest, most flavorful dish I have ever had! I can not express to you how good the sushi here is. Enjoy!

Impressive food being served from the beginning! I was surprised by the taste of the miso soup! Tenpura was very crispy showing the freshness of oil used, sushi were amazing, and rice was also well seasoned! Don't forget icy macaron for dessert!

Second time here. The sushi was good, fresh and flavorful. The potions were adequate and priced accordingly. The server was friendly and personable. I did however have to ask for a refill of my water glass, without, it first being recognized by my server. Overall, I enjoyed my dining experience.

This in the perfect little place to go for a quiet lunch or dinner. The menu is reasonably priced and filled with delicious options. The protein to rice ratio is on point and they don't overload you with sauce unless it's requested. The service it promt and polite, and so far everything I've had has been delicious.

This is the most delightful sushi place in the area. I am highly impressed with the quality of fish, gorgeous presentation, and the kindness of the staff is superb. Plus you cannot beat the adorable decorations. The blue crab hand roll is mouthwateringly yummy.

The food was good. Good ambiance. My friend and I tried a few rolls. There was one with mango AND salsa--it was different. Not bad. Just different. The mixed tempura was delicious, batter was light and crispy.
