Have passed this place while going to the store and decided to stop and give them a try. Nice family diner which reminded me of the one back in Whittier my grandma and I would go to so stopped and gave them a try. Food was delicious and services was great. Like that they have daily specials. Got the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and corn and was not disappointed. Have to come back and try there. Breakfast next time. If near the area and hungry give them a try.

Staff was nice and although they're pretty dry/ flavorless you get complimentary cookies with the check. Burger was very mediocre basically no seasoning. French fries were amazing, cooked and seasoned very nicely. Patty melt was good served on rye bread though. They also have some desserts on display as pictured, didn't try but they looked good. Overall it's not worth the price honestly.

Don't even look at the pictures, just get down there! Thee best omelet, service & real comfy feel. I thought I was the only 1 on this planet that loves olives in an omelet, wish I wasn't so far, it's a plz take my money kina place! Thank u Rebecca for your exceptional customer service! Great spirit & made us L.O.L she was awesome! Service like hers is what makes us real deal foodies return, & the food of course. We ever pass thru again, makin a mad dash there!

Great breakfast, I had the chile verde for omelette with hash brown alongside biscuits and gravy. The chile verde could have been a little spicier and the meat could have been a bit more tender.

I went with my family, and I ordered the Avocado burger and it didn’t come with fries so you had to add it separately. When I got my meal the burger had no cheese and the patty was plain with no flavor. I expected a burger with at least cheese in it. I had to put salt myself to eat and me not eat it with a plain flavor. The customer service was good. The kids meal did not include a drink with the meal so I had to add it separately as well. It was disappointing. I don’t think I would go there again. Unless they change the issues.

First-time going to this restaurant and we got amazed with the food flavor, highly recomended,, the place is not big the waitresses are polite and nice, we got breakfast only the omelets with nice flavor, country potatoes are great but what got me amazed is the gravy flavor OMG nice.

Molly J’s has the best oatmeal. I don’t know what’s happened within the past couple of years that it doesn’t have the service it used to have. Some waitresses are great while others are so so. The food is no where what it used to be like and I keep coming back in hopes that I will find the delicious food they once cooked and served. It just seems like they need a little makeover all around. Everything is so expensive nowadays. We had two ice teas a half a sandwich and a little cup of soup for two and it was $32.

After walking in and waiting some time there were no issues with staff talking to each other but couldn t serve there customer. Won t ever come back.. They make you feel like your business is not necessary more like a chore

A magnificent place to regain energy with fresh food, different from all the other places around. Meat, potatoes, salads, iced tea, exquisite soup. very quiet place with ample parking, impeccable bathrooms and a few meters from the road. After visiting Sequoia Park and its great trees, on the way back we wanted to look for a place to have dinner before arriving in Los Angeles and we found this place. Im a cuban from Miami. Keep this in mind for what Im about to say. This location has a selection of coffees. One of that selection is a colada. This is a strong expresso served hot in normally a small cup. A few things went wrong with this place 1. They had the colada named as a colado.. when I asked the young lady for my coffee.. she corrected me to a colado or cafecito, that is strike two. Strike three, she asked if I wanted it Iced... if you are a natural born cuban please dont visit this location. It does not represent us.

Terrible service from the manager William who answered my phone call. I called to see if they were hiring for a hostess or server and he says hello in the middle of me asking and hung up on me. So I called back and the phone picks up and hangs up really quick. So I called off my textnow phone number and he answered . I said may I speak to a mgr please. William says HES THE MANAGER SO I SAID: WELL... You hung up on me twice when I asked if you were hiring. And then he says were not hiring. I told him thats all I wanted you didnt have to hang up on my twice. He said something smart I just banged on him see how he like it.

Best Breakfast Spot in Southwest Bakersfield! I recently visited Molly Js Restaurant on Panama Lane, and I can confidently say its the best breakfast place in the area. The customer service is exceptional, with every staff member, from the dishwasher to the owners, showcasing great hospitality a special shoutout to William and his wife for making us feel welcome. The only thing more amazing than the food was Rebecca!! We finished our prayer before eating as Rebecca walked up and she said Amen with us. Our first time there and we already felt like family! The food came out quick and was really hot! I d rate this place 100 stars if I could! Thank you to the owner for hiring outstanding people like her and preparing amazing food. Thanks again guys!

we had dinner here yesterday and got food poisoning Their food is disgusting and has no flavor at all none of the food was made fresh there cornbread is from a package and heated up in the microwave their waitresses are very rude. and they kept asking if we were done yet they just threw the food on the table in front of us told us if we were done with our food when they barely brought it out to us the food was cold please dont ever eat at Molly Js you will have a horrible experience there to be honest they need Chef Gordon Ramses kitchen hell to go in and whip their butts back into better food and service.

Food was horrible there was no flavor whatsoever and the hamburger was oily the fries were old and customer service was horrible we were sat in the far back of the restaurant away from everyone else they had 2 different ethnicities separated from each other in my opinion they are extremely racist they dont make you feel welcome like other restaurants do and the food is way over priced for how it look and tasted I got food poisoning from the food I will never eat here again

Went in for Mothers Day breakfast with my wife and child. They were handing out flower to mothers when ordering, we were sitted. People who were sitted after us had already ordered had to flag down waiter, who called the waitresses in our area. Waitresses was rude, took our order, and never gave my wife a flower. Felt uncomfortable for the rest of our visit, seeing the same server bring everyone else flowers but our family. Gave no tip but did voice our disappointment with the experience to manager. Will never go back.

Food was delish and service was good. My bf said one of the waitresses slapped his bottom and thats not ok. That was the review for the last time we went there. I forgot to post it. Today the food was not good. The waitress seemed busy and unhappy. The coffee guy seemed annoyed. We had to ask for refills on our drinks, and they made faces at us! The wait staff was not friendly and very annoyed with us! We didnt feel welcome at all. Actually, the best thing we ate was the country fried steak.

Molly js has always been a good place for breakfast. Unlike most restaurants in Bakersfield, Molly Js serves plenty of food. Good atmosphere, and good service. So a high and to those who will attend you will not be disappointed.

We kind of took over this place when we arrived. But our server, Brooklyn, was more than ready. She stayed on her toes and accomplished everything we asked for, even the Taco Salad Salad. Ill be back!!

What a ripoff, $55.00 for lunch, $4 for a small side salad that was the worst that i have ever had, (soaked in dressing and croutons) Too dumb to put the dressing on the side, $4 for an ice tea, they charged $4 for my guest switching fries to onion rings, thieves, do yourself a favor go to Saccura buffet on ming for $15 you get one hundred times better food all included, all you can eat no overcharges. Included all and any drink that you want, deserts, and they dont charge you to eat their delicious hot onion rings as well as fries. Excellent chicken, beef, pork, salmond, veggies, what a treat, best deal in town, better than Vegas, all for a fraction of what Molly Js charges, but if you dont believe me wait until you see your check at Molly Js you will say Molly Moses!!!!

Soup: Vegetable Beef, like Basque Soup, just add veggies & beef. It is so delicious, sometimes its all I order. Also, anything made with their roast beef is delicious. Its so tender you could cut it with a fork. Their iced tea is good. All the waitresses are sweet, especially Bertha & Cindy. And, last but not least, youve got to try a piece of the Peach Cobbler, you wont regret it.
