Very nice Bakery. They make beautiful cake . Its pricey but worth it. Also love their macaroons and cup cakes . Also love the pretzel coated chocolate , decorated cookies. Staff are nice and place is clean and colorful. Totally recommend it.

We ordered my nieces Quinceañera Cake from Tastries and weren't disappointed. The cake tasting appointment went pleasantly and we are still getting compliments about the cake. It's one of the Best in my opinion and I try lots of bakeries. Will be ordering from here again!

Such a great experience ordering and receiving the perfect cupcakes and cookies for a baby shower. Usually, these types of cookies don’t taste great, but they were delicious. The frosting on the cupcakes were so good. Great job making it exactly what we wanted.

I’ve never been dissatisfied with anything I’ve ordered whether it was stopping in on the fly or custom ordering a cake or cookies. The people working here are kind, caring and skilled at what they do! It’s too bad (and unfair really) that politics have left them a black eye. I applaud them for standing on their faith. My family and I have been coming here since first discovering them 5 years ago and we will continue to do so for our future orders. 10/10 recommend! I’ve added pictures of a few of the custom jobs we’ve had done.

Was looking for a bakery in the area that my son's grandfather is in so I could possibly send him over a treat but after scrolling the reviews for quite awhile I wouldn't recommend. From years old reviews to current ones the owner and staff seem to blame the customer for their own mistakes and rude horrid customer service. This is a business where it appears that they do not take accountability for dry cake, hard brownies, completely changing customers orders, hard stale cookies, not making wedding cakes or delivering them, not delivering birthday cakes (which given I wanted a treat delivered was kinda important for me), rude nasty customer service, being late for or even missing appointments for wedding cake testings, and everything in between. I'll look elsewhere to order because I refuse to take the risk nor do I desire to deal with the horrendous phone customer service i have seen described here. Run, don't walk, to a business who will give you better products and customer service.

I tried to give them a second chance and again was disappointed. Waited over 45 during our cake tasting appointment. When my groom went to pick up our cake it wasn't even done they brought out a plain white cake with none of my decorations on it. Then because of their screw up my cake was rushed to be decorated and not done they way I wanted. My cake photos were ruined because of a massive bubble that was on the very too layer of the buttercream. We wanted pink champagne flavor and tasted like we got their pink passion instead. Frosting was also dry like it had been sitting way out to long and then been recooled. Each layer was suppose to have a black frosting ribbon on the base I got a 1 in white ribbon on it so it made it hard to cut. What pisses me off more is being told that it was practically my fault the frosting bubbled because they said it's caused by not keeping the cake cold which it went from the bakery into a cold car and then into a fridge at venue 5 min drive tops! When asking what they would do to fix it i got offered a 10 dollar refund plus 20% store credit which is insulting and a joke of a customer service offer. Rosemary ( who said she was the owner when I asked to speaker with owner) said that was all she could do for me. I will never use this bakery again and I will not recommend to anyway! My family and I love this place. They have done every special cake for our family. We have come to them with an idea & they make it happen! We will continue to use them. Their cookies are beautiful, and their pastries are amazing. Macaroons are to die for. Friendly staff!

What a beautiful little bakery and gift shop! I could have spent an hour in there, the wedding cakes are absolutely stunning. I sampled the delicious cupcakes and macaroons, they were both so tasty, definitely made from scratch. I HIGHLY recommend a stop at Tastries! Easy access right across from Costco on Rosedale. You will thank me!

Amazing service. I ve had the cakes here before, and they are so delicious. So, I had to get a cake from them for my friend s birthday. I was hoping to be able to get a viral vintage burn cake from Tik Tok, but they didn t have that wafer paper that goes on top. But they were so accommodating. I bought my wafer paper from Etsy, and they let me bring it in on the day of pick up, placed it on the cake beautifully. The cake was beautiful, and glittery. The paper burned perfectly. And the cake tasted delicious and moist. No dry crumbly cake here. Thank you, Tastries!

Went to go buy 3 cookies, 2 cupcakes, and 1 brownie the total was $18 . Call home all excited to give it to my kids when they tried biting into it. It was hard like it. I tried it as well to find out. They tasted old like they ve been sitting there for days. Try calling two times both times they answered and hanged up the phone, I have to work extremely hard for my money and I don t The sweet bean so hard and tasting old. I felt so bad for my kids after saving up money to surprise them with these sweets and for them to turn out to not be good very Disappointed.

Horrible service. We had scheduled a cake testing originally for 5 pm for our wedding as we were so happy to book tastries for our wedding cake . I then get a call from staff 2 days before the appointment saying it was moved down to 7 pm and to confirm the new appointment time.They then called me and additional two times to confirm for7pm. We show up at the time we confirmed it for and they said they had no More cake and we had to reschedule. I was confused and showed the girl at the counter the voicemail they left saying for 7 pm.she gave no form of apology, and told me yea I believe you . There s no cake anymore you ll have to reschedule. super unprofessional and very disappointing.

Never order a custom cake from here. Itll get delivered late, be half decorated, and/or be completely different from the design you agreed upon. The cakes taste okay but are absurdly overpriced, especially for half decorated cakes that will ruin your special occasion. Never ever again.

We hired Tastries Bakery for our wedding in October 2023. Kathy and her team were simply amazing and great to work with. I loved how she was open to my idea of a small cake with cupcakes versus a traditional wedding cake. Thank you for the beautiful tasty cake and cupcakes!

Not bad. Cupcakes I think are small for the price. Got one and one cookie was charged over $8 . But after I mentioned 1.75 + 3.50 is not 8 she adjusted. Apparently the other helping out first put in for different type of cookie. My wife would not have spoke. Up and would have gotten ripped off. Wife liked the cupcake.

I 100% recommend Tastries Bakery! I used them for my wedding cake purchase. Best decision I ve ever made. The cake tasting we did months ago was perfect. Although, I feel if you purchase the wedding cake through them, they should remove the charge for the tasting. But it is what it is. It didn t affect my rating one bit. The staff there are tremendous. The cake was so elegant, tasted fresh, very delicious, and we loved every single bit of it. My guest were all over it. The delivery team was fast and friendly. I was very disappointed in my daughters wedding cake and desserts that I payed 1000 dollars for the cake was dry and had no flavor to it nobody like it all the slices we cuz were left on the tables then desserts was not even enough to fill up a small table not for 200 people. I will never do business with this place again I am very unhappy because I payed souch money for nothing. I should have just gone to Albertsons and purchsed a cake for better cake at a way cheaper price. This place failed my daughter s first birthday party. I messaged Tastries Bakery through Instagram 4 days before the event to confirm the details of the cake. They gave me an estimated price which I agreed on even if it could increase. I followed up with messages every day but they would just leave me on read. The day of the event I called them around 2pm and they said the cake would be ready by 4pm. Our special event was at 5pm. I got to Tastries Bakery around 4:30pm where they spent 15 minutes trying to find my cake that wasn t made because they never asked for payment. They put the blame on me saying the payment was never sent YET they never asked for any payment (which I would have gladly sent). They failed to remember that we agreed that the final price was going to be given to me the day I receive the cake. They never asked for a payment prior to the event. Tastries Bakery needs to work on their communication within their employees and with their customers and not leave them wondering if their cake is going to be made or not.

Called from Texas to have a cake prepared and delivered to a hospital to celebrate my Great grandson birth. It was beautiful and delivered his name, date of birth and weight displayed on it. Unfortunately when the cake was delivered the babies weight info was smeared and illlegible. Unfortunately things happen beyond Others control but what remained was absolutely beautiful. I never post reviews but I left this place so upset and felt I was treated unfairly that I must post a review. I was a previous customer. We loved their cake. We decided to do a cake testing appointment for my daughters and nieces sweet 16. Our appointment was at 1 p.m. They had us wait till 1:36 p.m. We received no apology. Cathy simply stated to us that she was ready for us. We started with questions about the event how many people, what kind of cake etc. We only wanted two two tier cakes because were having a dessert table. Cathy pulls out her binder with her desserts list. I stated to her that we didnt want any desserts as someone else was taking care of that. She started to explain to us that we wouldnt be able to purchase a cake unless we also ordered the desserts from her. She stated that she had a bad experience in the past that someone else put the dessert table together and wasnt up to her standard and received a bad review. She was not going to allow that to happen. Unless we posted a disclaimer sign infront of the dessert table stating the persons business name and information. Then proceeded to inquire if that person was a professional. I felt that her needs are put first instead of the customers needs. This is a special event that is very important for my daughter and niece. Cathy didnt really care. I shouldnt be given an ultimatum making me purchase something I dont need in order to get what Im wanting to purchase. I will not be coming back.

Customer service was terrible! Kindness Matters...that cute. Is it a do as I say, not as a I sort of thing?? Finally got my order and it was so sweet that I could only eat a few bites. I thought Id give this place a try, only because my daughter wanted something sweet on the way home...but personally, I dont approve of the owner believing that a cake that she delivers is some how magically and religiously contributing to a wedding...I mean its not like youre invited, but to each their own. But conflictedly happy to say that it was God-awful terrible from the food to the Staffs demeanor. Happy to truly write this place off...

Worst customer service. Over priced ! I ordered a cake and cupcakes they didn t even get my order right ! I had high expectations because of how expensive it is the cakes taste like they use the store bought boxes !!! 2 weeks after my party had already happened I get a phone call to pay the difference because I upsized my cake when I had already paid !!! This place is not worth it . Will not come back !! Apparently the owner responded ! I find it hard to believe you don t get other complaints I read another similar to mine . You might have to switch to electronic systems. Too many mistakes on your crews end . Also no I wouldn t want a free cake from there I truly didn t like the quality .

Went to this place by chance. Costco across the street was not open yet and I needed to use the restroom. From the time I walked in I knew I wasnt leaving without trying something. I also found cake and cookie supplies that I had been looking for. The pumpkin pastry I had was wonderful and look forward to getting another. The girl who waited on us was pleasant and very informative. I will definitely go back. I do feel bad for those who have had bad experiences, having employees myself you can not always control everything that happens in your store.

I know Im probably going to absolutely butcher her name but Calesia was absolutely amazing! We werent even going here, we were going to a party that was next door at Johns incredible. We were in a rush and saw that this place was also a boutique so we went in to see if they possibly had gift bags. Calesia took the gift into the back and packed it all nice and pretty for us in a bag and we really appreciative. We did end up buying cupcakes and macrons because of how happy we were with her service that we werent even paying for. Will definitely be going back! Whatever she is getting paid isnt enough for how incredibly helpful she was and with zero hesitation!

Delicious! My son chose a donut. I chose a cupcake. As a general rule, I only buy donuts at donut shops. I also stay away from cake donuts. Ive tasted too many dense, dry donuts in life. Tastries will be the exception to my rule. Wow. The consistency was perfect. They nailed it. The cupcake was also perfect. It was moist, delicious, and beautiful - such a treat. We will be back.

Small but nice little local bakery. I had the blueberry cheese bar and it was really good. The chocolate chip cookies were also really good. Its a little tight inside. There were about 15 people inside when I was there and it got cramped.

Ordered a 3 tier cake for our granddaughters 16th birthday. Tastries is just the best!! The lady, Nora, who took my order was patient, efficient, helpful and just so very personable. I had a change on the cake which was made effortlessly the next day. The cake was perfect!! Arrived at Seven Oaks Country Club on time, in perfect condition and everything on the cake plus more made it the center of attention, second only to the birthday girl. Thank you Tastries Bakery!!!! You are my #1 go to from now on!! Ooooh, and it was so delicious!!!!!

I picked up 2 cherry pies for a Holiday party and I have to say they were amazing , everyone that tried them could not believe how good they were . This was my first time buying from here and this will be my go-to from now on and the customer service was top notch.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank Tasteries Bakery for the amazing service. I have been coming here for a couple years and not only do they have great deserts, but I recently ordered a going away cake for my daughter who is leaving for the Air Force. While there was a slight miscommunication mishap, (my fault mostly due to the fact I should have had an exact pic of the type of flag I wanted **they cannot read minds lol**), they still went above and beyond to make it 100% satisfaction on a very important day and at the last minute too! I cant thank them enough and cant wait until our next event or occasion to order more goodies. You guys are wonderful. It turned out beautifull, And the cake tasted amazing too!

*Update* November 6, 2021 My sons cake taste so good! The cake is not dry and not too sweet. The other desserts included in the buffet table taste so good too. My guests loved all the desserts. I thought there would be some left over but theyre all gone by the time we were going home from the event venue. We had creme brulee and pistachio macarons, bite size fruit tarts, blueberry cheesecake bars, strawberry, chocolate and birthday minicupcakes. 2014 I had customized vintage cake and it was beautiful and tasted good.

This place sells hard cheese cakes the strawberry s were dried out I called to get a refund and was told there s nothing they can do about if I don t bring the piece of brick Back after I explained I was not in the area anymore could have at least got my information for future reference and a refund then had the nerve to hang up on me because I was upset about selling me a cheese cake that was hard as a brick UNBELIEVABLE!!! Never again and I let my co workers at the hospital to never use this place the customer service was Terrible

I was so thrilled to place an order for a cake for my daughter s birthday. I called the place to make sure they can take my order and the employee I talk to in the morning promised that they have room to take my order as long as I come in before 630 pm to place the order. I moved all my prior appointments/engagements and came in with my daughter to place the order. However, I was extremely disappointed by the girl who greeted us. As soon as we walked in she said things like we are not talking any orders we are closing in 10 minutes, we have to go home too , even if I take your order, I can only start your order etc etc with a rude attitude. Then when I told her that I called this morning & was told to come in and place the order today, she went inside and came back quickly and said they are not taking any orders anymore. (It was pretty clear that she wasn t going to take my order, no matter what!) I am very very disappointed. I think the disappointment was more because of the way the girl was talking and the attitude/rudeness. Customer service was out the door. I don t think I will ever come back here again! * few hours after this review was posted Rosemary from Tastries reached out to me & apologized for the experience I had. I appreciate that gesture. (Didn t get the cake though!)

The worst cake ever waste of money its fine tht i paid $90 but at least make it wht customer ask for it the bread was super hard all trashed the fruits was only 2 on it the once i didnt even like it at all not recommended dnt buy cake from here guys

I have a ordered a Harry Potter cake with yellow and red stripes and they charged me extra $40 for that stripes and when my daughter picked up the cake it was completely yellow and no red stripes, when I called them they said if I bring back the cake and they can make the stripes and it was already late for the party and I told them that I dont have time to take it back and they didnt even offer a refund for the stripes I have paid and not done. I will never order again from here.

A lovely shop with a decent selection in gifts and sweets. I went specifically for the macarons and that was my mistake as the cookies were rather dry and chalky which isnt very fun to eat especially with a $3 per cookie price point. The snickerdoodle cookie I purchased was delicious and soft but did also seem a little on the dry side.

My cake tasted like the slice of heaven that I experience that night at my wedding. The cake was a beautiful Four tiered masterpiece The flavors of banana in salted caramel melted in everyone s mouth everyone asked me about this cake I even asked myself about this cake because it was so good not only was it delicious but it was beautiful! So yes I really did enjoy the macaroons at this Bakery by far delicious just delicious! customer service was so awesome every question that I had was promptly answered which I truly appreciate because before I arrive at called and it was a perfect day for taste-testing.

Excellent customer service! Rosemary was super helpful and although due to the late order from me I couldnt get the cookie bouquet, she helped me order a wonderful Cookie platter that I am sure will impress my mom & dad for their Annivesary! Thank you!!!!
