My family came here today because it was my daughter’s birthday and she wanted pancakes. I asked the male waitress to sing happy birthday to her he said yes and never did and we waited and waited towards the end he was just avoiding our table. The wait was not bad but actually getting seated was annoying because we were getting directed by different people and asked if we needed a high chair more than once after we told them yes and they see a baby in our arms. We asked for well done and our food still had blood coming out of it and his only solution was putting the steak back on the fire and brought it waaaayy later and along with that we asked for a refill he came over 3 times and no refill until we were ready to leave. I asked him for the sauce on the side he didn’t bring it and later decided to ask if I wanted it and I said I did and brought it when he chose to. My food was totally not worth the money.

Food was delicious, staff was friendly and very mindful of our table. Restaurant was clean and looked organized, food was made promptly and came out hot. Definitely will be back again, and recommend this place to others for delicious food.

I pulled into the curbside pickup parking at 10:42am. I then checked in through the Ihop link that was sent to me through a text message. I waited 30 minutes before I finally called. The employee that brought my food out stated that they may not always hear the notification when someone checks in. Their pickup order and curbside system is horrible. I order curbside, because I want a hassle free pickup. I only ordered two simple breakfast meals. This is every single time I come here. It is unfortunate that Ihop only has 2 locations in Bakersfield.

Been coming here for breakfast every couple of months. Never been disappointed, it has always been very good. I ordered the “Smokehouse “ eggs, hash browns, smoked sausage and pancakes, it was great.
This morning restaurant was very busy, ( it always is busy) we were seated within 3 minutes. We ordered, party of 3, meals were served to us in less than ten mins-outstanding job considering how busy they were. Kim our waitress did a wonderful job.

Server was absolutely fantastic, she was very detailed, however, the food sucked. The fries were uncooked, hash brown was undercooked, french toast was good however scrambled eggs were not to par.

Nice clean and fast service. Our waiter was super friendly. They had a new menu with some fun items. Had avocado toast, nice change up. Fun fall flavors as well. Also, 2 Pokémon stops near by.

Clean, good food, attentive but Very Busy server. Don't know when this changes, but now you pay at the table rather than at the exit. Food was excellent, coffee is simple and abundant, and has a really good flavor.

Service was very slow waited 30 minutes after getting my drink and the waitress never checked up on us only to give us the check. Food was decent but a little cold and the waitress didn’t even bring us our food her name was Amber. Horrible first experience

We have been to a lot of IHOP restaurants in the US, but this is the first time that I felt disappointed of hispanic Waiter this morning in Rosedale branch. He was very rude. He was not polite and not even serving us the right stuff correctly and u can really see his facial expression. My husband thought he was racist. It’s only our table that he would not pass by and ask if we need anything. He only placed our food on the table and went away, not accommodating. He did not refill our drinks and we think he does not fit to be a waiter. He does not have customer service skills. I would not go to Ihop Rosedale again!

We ordered online for pick up! We never got a text like app said when our food was ready. we showed up, our food just sitting there and had been reheated from what they told us and they said they’re system wasn’t working but didn’t think it would be a common courtesy to call us and tell us our order is ready. We paid for fresh food not reheated food. It was disgusting

Always an amazing place to go to. I love having my breakfast at this specific location I go with family and I recommend it to friends. The food is always on point with the way it is cooked and prepared. Staff is super friendly and genuine..No wait time with refills, ketchup, syrup..the servers are on point with their service.

Very bad customer service. Me and my Hispanic family felt very discriminated while waiting for our food. Other families arrived after ours and got their food before us. 2 couples and 2 big families got served their food before us. We got our food after they left. It made us feel very discriminated since we were the only Hispanics in the building. These waiters should serve everyone equally no matter the race. Very disappointed. Do not recommend this ihop for people of color.

We ordered Belgian Waffle, they didn’t give any fruits or cream. My mom was craving it so much we ordered a take out and when we were back home we opened our parcel and there was nothing but plain waffle in it. Very disappointing.

It was a pleasant trip but I wasn't too thrilled about the lack of selection options (but that's just a personal preference)
A young gentleman who look to be high school age we extremely kind and patient. Service was excellent!!!

Absolutely the worst breakfast I have ever had. We eat at different restaurants throughout Bakersfield. I have eaten at this location a few times over the years. However, this morning was the worst. Management needs to look closely at their cooks skills and cooking abilities. Breakfast is the easiest meal to cook, but when scrambled eggs are undone, bacon raw and country gravy is so watered down, it's time to hire staff with true cooking capabilities.

From the very beginning, our waiter, Moises really didn’t seem happy to be at his job. No condiments were offered, my fiancé had to get up and ask for hot sauce. Then his eggs weren’t cooked well & the waiter was arguing with him. He could’ve just said, ok I’m so sorry about that we can fix that for you, instead of going back and forth with my fiancé about how it’s usually cooked. The finished plates were sitting at the end of the table until we left. We had to ask him for the check ourselves. He always seemed more occupied with other tables than ours, never came to see if we needed anything else, or asked how the food was. Other waiters were taking very good care of their tables. We would’ve rather had one of the other waiters than Moises. I never had a problem with ihop until today. Not going back again.

The waitress was great, despite the fact that it was Christmas Day and they were packed with customers. The food however was a different matter, with everybody's hash browns overcooked to the point of being inedible, when I cut into mine they were so crunchy that a couple of crusty pieces flew off my plate, hitting one of my table mates in the nose ( 😂🙃 - Yo-hoo, heck of a shot! ). Anyway, the food was passable, even though no one other than myself bothered to finish their food. Note, we had a party of 10.

Stopped by to get breakfast with the wife and brother and the service was amazing. I think our waitress was named Karina she was a sweetheart. The coffee was hot and fresh, the food was hot and delicious. I would definitely come back to this location. Thank you for the great service and food.

This place was terrible the staff took a lot of time and our food was served cold. I'm not one to complain about that and it's not the staffs fault the place was packed but I would appreciate it if we were let known that the food was going to take time to arrive. I don't mind cold food if at least tastes good but sadly this food didn't make up for that time. Won't be coming back

We waited to long and everyone around us got their food and we never diid. When i ask for a manager she could only tell me im sorry we will get that for you. Really!!! After everyone else got served then wait again. We walked out. Horrible service and just got a sorry for waiting to long.

Honestly one of the better ihops in town. Food always comes out hot and cooked to perfection. Service usually depends on who is working but over all always have food experiences here.

We took advantage of the curbside pick up, we ordered our food online and it said the order would be ready at 11:14. at 11:10 I parked in a curbside parking space and called to let them know I was there, they said they were still working on it and would bring it out shortly. I called back a few times and was told they were still working on it and it would be out shortly. The last time I called was about 11:47 and they said they would bring it out which they did. I only live a couple of miles away and when I got home our food was cold, my wife had to microwave the food to warm it back up.
Never going back there again.

Went on April 4th. Even though they were on a very minimal staff, they handled my large group. The food was excellent and speedy. Whoever was on that night deserves a raise. Excellent job 👍

Attitude of the waitress attitude was dirty racist and disgusting. Ordered our food part was delivered, bill was given and was still waiting on part of the order. Waitress then got upset because I offered to pay bill and leave dumping food infront of my face with attitude. Being busy doesn’t make up for being low and dirty in service to one rave over another.

My fiancee and I went here the day after Thanksgiving. I was impressed by how well the restaurant was staffed and how fast the service was, considering the number of diners at the restaurant and the holiday. The food was delicious. We did not have to wait to be seated and the servers were welcoming and helpful. Would recommend.
