I have always had pleasant experiences with IHop. This location is very clean and big. There is enough parking and near the freeway. The music was nice and so was the service. The food was good, warm, and didn't take too long to make.

Friendly and prompt but the worst crapes I've ever had. My husband got tacos and really liked them. My daughter liked the French toast but my review is based on my experience. My crapes tasted like they were cooked with my husband's meal. They tasted like onions and bell pepper and lots of oil. They also can't make a decent cup of coffee (only fake cream). For the prices they charge (over $20 for crapes), I expected better than a ghetto Denny's.

Great food with an excellent menu to choose from. The staff are very good at what they do giving excellent service.i will definitely be going back and if your looking for a top notch meal with a friendly atmosphere give it a try. You'll be happy you did.

Probably the best IHOP I've been to in a decade. Food was fresh and hot, staff was super friendly. The new buttermilk biscuit offerings were really good and the Sausage was so amazing. Only downside was that they don't do the Swedish pancakes anymore.

Service was great but the standard meal was 23.95. Ridiculous!! Food was worth 7 bucks at most. Never again. You can get the same thing at Denny's for 10 bucks.

Most expensive Ihop I have ever been too by far lol

There's a meal deal that is 6 or 7 dollars depending on location at other ihops and here its 10.99$
Some breakfast plates were over 20$ and many were 19$
Took pictures of the menu for the laughs but wow never going to this specific location again,
The waiter was cool. A coffee is almost 5$ also...

These prices are in the range of places much nicer than an IHOP haha

Been here twice in one week...OMG! AND it was delicious both times! Pancakes were perfect and you didn't feel stuffed. Scrambled eggs were light n fluffy perfect as well as everyone else, right down to my cold glass of milk!

My wife and I have stopped here on several drives up and down I5. Whether busy or not we’ve always received really great service. So often when a restaurant isn’t busy the service is poor, slow, and they don’t follow-up with customers. Our experience with this restaurant has always been great. Everyone seems to be happy with their jobs and conscientious in their duties. Kudos to the manager and team! As for the food and facilities I rated it 5 stars because it’s been cooked to expectations and pretty clean - kept in good shape. Remember, it’s an iHop not a Michelin 5 Star restaurant!

Great stop, and you can get gas & snacks at this location as well.

It was a great meal. The service that Rose provided was Great. The food prep team needs a little more training in cross contamination and allergies since IHOP serves gluten-free products. I believe that they lied about a mistake on pancakes and my gluten-free child was sick the entire way home. Rose asked more than once if they were gluten-free. I listened to the contamination and they told her yes. My son could have been deathly allergic and died. Lucky he is just really sick. Day 3 of being sick.

I've learned the pricing at this IHOP location is dictated by the franchisee. And I'm sure they based their high pricing on the lack of competition immediately adjacent to them. So, if you want a decent meal while traveling up/down CA, plan to stop in an actual city. Bakersfield has tons of restaurants and it's not that far off I-5 via the new Highway 58 and 99.

As many other reviewers have mentioned, the prices at this IHOP are remarkably high. The food is really good and the service was also good, but I probably wouldn’t come back here simply because of the high prices. For example, as of today, the price of a full stack of plain buttermilk pancakes at my local IHOP (outside Boston) is $10.49. The same item is $16.99 at this IHOP. For a family of four, after tip, you’re likely to pay somewhere close to $100. That’s kind of insane for an IHOP.

Food is too expensive for an IHOP. Every item on the menu was $22 - $25. Haven't been to IHOP in over a decade. Not sure if these are the prices everywhere or just this location. Only the kids'menu was priced somewhat reasonably

This was my first time at this location. The atmosphere was fine and the service wasn't bad. The only thing I feel wasn't worth it was the food. This location seemed more expensive than others but it could be due to where its at. I don't feel as though the food was worth it for what you get. I spent about $24 on one Pancake meal with coffee and that does not include a tip.

This used to be a favorite place for me to go on my frequent trips between CA and NV. However, some months ago there seems to have been changes that were not for the better. I haven't seen their best server, Nadeem, there as often as before and no one else holds a candle to his service. Then there is the food quality. I tried a lot of their menu, but have been getting the tbone regularly for years. It seems now they are getting much lower quality cuts that dont cook evenly or even resemble steaks anymore. The vegetable quality has also dropped significantly, so I am not sure if it is an IHOP corporate problem or if this location changed suppliers or hired a bad buyer. I'm not sure what is going on, but it seems I am not the only one to notice as the number of diners has been less each time I go there now as well.

Walked in at this place after a 4 hour drive, there is a sign that said “wait to be seated”2 waitresses glanced at us from behind the counter without acknowledging us they turn their faces and go back to what they we’re doing. Waited 5 minutes and still nothing, the place was not even busy, they had two tables with annoyed looking customers. I walked right out of there and went somewhere else. Don’t ever stop here, keep driving!

UPDATE 2023, Ihop got greedy and stopped offering REAL cheese like Swiss, Provalone. People deserve more than "cheese food product" especially when you offer special Hamburgers, omletes and Philly sandwiches. We have stopped visiting any IHOP period and switched to Cracker Barrel which we have found to be 100% better, had Ihop not been so closed minded we never would have looked elsewhere. We thank the great staff, waiters, bus personel who are not at fault for the 3 decades of our visiting several times a week

I actually didn't get the chance to eat here. The sign on the freeway said the restaurant is open 24 hours. That is not true. They are open 6 a.m. - 10 p.m. They only accept cash according to a sign on the door. Moving on down the freeway in search of food.

First time dining here, definitely won't be last. Food was amazing. Best pancakes i have had in a while. Was seated almost immediately, staff was friendly and food was prepared in a reasonable amount of time. Would recommend this place, and will definitely be back.

A quick stop for breakfast on a road trip was made pleasant by the dependable food and service quality, in a nice clean restaurant at a gas station, which is so convenient. The pancakes are always great and you can get them any way you could want.

It’s pumpkin season. I had to try the pumpkin pancakes but they did not deliver. However, the staff, particularly Nadeem, were pleasant and professional. They replaced my pancakes free of charge, and even gave me a mechanic recommendation since I mentioned my car had broken down. The venue is bright, clean and massive—you can easily hold a huge kid’s party here.

TOP NOTCH when it comes to their appetizer sample platter!! Onion rings were dee-lish with the panko coating and thick onions. Mozzarella sticks were done perfectly, and the chicken tenders were light and tasty!! Completely enjoyed my sample platter lunch on-the-fly.

Wir haben auf der Durchreise hier zu Mittag gegessen. Auf der Karte hat es verschiedene Starter und Hauptgerichte wie gegrillte Sandwiches, Burger, Burritos, Pancakes, etc. Als Side kann man zwischen Pommes, Zwiebelringen, saisonalen Früchten und Salat wählen. Für Vegetarier ist allerdings sehr wenig dabei. Die Bitte ein Ham&Cheese Sandwich dann ohne Schinken zu bekommen wurde direkt aufgenommen - sehr flexibel. Am Platz standen 4 Siruptypen zur Auswahl (Erdbeere, Butter Pekannuss, Blaubeere und Ahorn). Casandra ist eine super freundliche und sehr aufmerksame Kellnerin. Das bestellte Essen wurde sehr rasch gebracht. Geschmacklich waren die gegrillten Sandwiches und Zwiebelringe sehr gut, Burger und Pancakes waren okay. Leider war der Salat alt und welk. Das Restaurant ist sauber und ordentlich.

What a wonderful experience we had this morning at IHOP! Nadeem was the best waiter we could have wished for. Very helpful en hospitable. We were on our way to the Sequoia National Park and he wrote down all kind of highlights in the parc. Also of course the pancakes and French toast were really wonderful. We would definitely come here often if we lived closer by than the Netherlands😉

Es un buen lugar para parar en el camino, descansar y comer con tranquilidad.
Hace muchos años que frecuentamos ese restaurante en el camino a San José, California.
Y hemos sido atendidos según el carácter del mesero y no según los protocolos de la franquicia.
En alguna ocasión, a mi esposa y a mi, nos atendió un mesero latino y al presentarse nos habló en inglés. Le consulté si hablaba español y dijo que no, sólo inglés.
Revisamos la carta como pudimos y ordenamos. Todo bien.
Lo pésimo fue que mi esposa lo descubrió charlando tranquilamente en el centro del restaurante, entre las mesas, con dos compañeros. ¿Y qué idioma usaban..................?
