Scrambled

My actual rating is a 4.8, however, because the rating system is 1-5 stars I gave a five. The reason for the 4.8 is it took almost 20 minutes to get a refill on my coffee after I asked for it.

The service was good, not great, but good.

The atmosphere was perfect. I enjoyed the fish on the TV and the classic rock in the background.

I did miss the decor from Maggie's which was here before Scrambled.

The food was great.

I had Biscuits and Gravy, three eggs and potatoes. While the potatoes stole the show the rest was also very good.

My friend, who I treated to breakfast, ordered the Chicken Fried Steak with eggs and potatoes.

I do not care for Chicken Fried Steak because it usually tastes like cardboard. This CFS tastes great.

All in all I recommend Scrambled. It is not Maggie's, but it is a good replacement.

This is the second time that I’ve been here for brunch since it’s walking distance from my hotel and this place doesn’t disappoint! First round I had the huevos rancheros and it was delicious! Ginormous portions, tortilla was amazingly crispy under the egg and the quarter of the avocado slice was very fresh. Second visit I had the 10 0z sirloin steak (medium) and 3 over easy eggs , both came out cook exactly the way I requested; this was accompanied with hash browns and toast. Prices for these items were an excellent value as the portions that were provided could easily feed 2 people! Highly recommended!

We came for late breakfast and were seated right away, even though the place looked full! It is clean and nicely decorated. The service was fast, friendly and attentive. The food was very good. I had eggs Benedict with hash browns and my breakfast companion had the chille verde carnitas omelet with the country potatoes. My Benedict was good but the chille verde carnitas omelet was exceptional as were the country potatoes(definitely the better choice). Their coffee was much better than one would expect from a breakfast place!

I wish I would of found this place a lot sooner! You don't find to many places like this next to the highway in a plaza. The food was good and the service was also nice. I got the Chilaquiles Drvorciados and my wife got the French Toast Breakfast. The Chilaquiles Divorciados came with green and red sauce. Both sauces were good and also had a nice kick! The waitress brought me extra red sauce since I asked. It was very saucey and delicious. The beans were ok, not the best but I've had much worse at other places. I will definitely be back for the same dish.
The French Toast had cinnamon in the them. They were very tasty. The pancakes were a little dry. They needed more butter and syrup. The strawberry lemonade was good. It wasn't super surgery. I'd definitely choose this place over Big Bear Diner 100% of the time!

We visited for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised at this lesser known gem. Between my group we had the chilaquiles divorciados, chile verde omelette, the strawberry cream cheese french toast and a strawberry smoothie. All the food was well received and the staff were super responsive, even offered us to go cups for our coffee. The menu was huge and had countless breakfast options. I think our only suggestion would be to get a heat lamp to keep the food hot before serving it. Overall great experience and certainly would go back. I'm sure by this time next year they are going to be packed to the brim with customers.

Stopped by Scrambled in Bakersfield, CA, and it didn’t disappoint. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros, and it was really good—great balance of flavors with crispy tortillas, tasty sauce, and perfectly cooked eggs. My wife tried the Cinnamon Roll Pancake, and it was amazing. The cinnamon swirl and cream cheese topping made it a standout.

The service was just as solid. The staff was friendly, attentive, and kept our drinks filled without us having to ask. They checked in a couple of times to make sure we were all set, but it never felt over the top.

Overall, great food and great service. Definitely a spot worth checking out if you’re in Bakersfield.

A Hidden Gem! I had the most delightful experience at this café! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with beautiful decor that gives it a warm, welcoming vibe. The coffee is absolutely top-notch – rich and smooth, just the way I like it. I also tried their signature pastry, and it was to die for! The staff was friendly and attentive, and the service was quick despite the place being busy. I’ll definitely be back for more of their amazing drinks and delicious bites. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful spot to relax or catch up with friends. Five stars all the way!

Stopped by Scrambled in Bakersfield, CA, and it didn’t disappoint. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros, and it was really good—great balance of flavors with crispy tortillas, tasty sauce, and perfectly cooked eggs. My wife tried the Cinnamon Roll Pancake, and it was amazing. The cinnamon swirl and cream cheese topping made it a standout.

First timers here! Traveling through Bakersfield and stopped here for breakfast today. The food and service was superb! Our meals included fried eggs, omelette, pancakes, hashbrowns, country potatoes, sausage and toast. We enjoyed our breakfast with fresh and deliciously prepared food. Our server Ayeleene was very friendly and efficient. We will definitely return on our next trip.

Great for breakfast! Good food, friendly service, reasonable prices. I thoroughly enjoyed my Mexican breakfast served with flour tortillas. Our server, Arturo, was attentive, with a great sense of humor. The setting is plain, but very functional. If in the area, we will definitely go back here. It’ a hidden gem!

Absolutely delicious food. The one and only negative issue was that whoever was in charge of making the toast kept burning it and the place would smell of burnt toast instead of delicious food. I will definitely be returning.

The service was impeccable! Our coffees and water were full at all times. The staff is incredibly friendly. The food is so flavorful and the portions are very large. I would definitely recommend checking this spot out.

I'm down in bakersfield twice a week overnight for work, and this is by far the best breakfast place I've been to. The eggs are great, hashbrowns are perfect, and pretty much everything is tasty. Service is excellent, and the prices aren't bad in today's market.

One of the best breakfast restaurants I’ve tried. The Huevos Rancheros and Divorciados were delicious. Full of flavour. The staff were friendly, patient, and helpful. Highly recommended.

Stopped in while passing through town. Was told the place is new. We were seated promptly on a Saturday morning. Service was fantastic and the food was excellent. If you ever find ourselves in Bakersfield for breakfast again, we will return.

Average Breakfast Diner with some extras … mimosas at $7 each are small and they showed my in fluted glass but even that was small ! But their flavors
🍓 strawberry, 🥭 mango, 🍍pineapple, 🍊 orange are all winners for taste 👅.
Had Taco salad, / pictured and Strawberry waffles also pictured. Enjoy 😊

Went today with my family and it was packed! My family got seated but then they never came to us for our food order. We where waiting 25 mins Two other groups that came in after us where getting served first! Like the waiters just came by our table an never said a word. I'm sorry to say not coming here again an they should be more aware of people coming in! That why I'm giving low rating they need to brush up on there service.

I ordered the pastrami melt and it was so delicious. Gooey, mustard and pickle-y just how I like it. I was disappointed by the amount of actual pastrami in the sandwich though…1.5oz maybe? My husband ordered chilaquiles with steak and also got a very small amount of steak. Kinda feel ripped off that way. Bummer

Stopped here while supercharging and was really happy with this place. Awesome, quality food at good prices, and they even have some healthy options like fruit for kids and multigrain pancakes. Service was fast and friendly and the interior was bright and clean.

I brought a group of four to this restaurant. We had chicken, waffles, green enchiladas, BLT, and a breakfast sandwich. Everything was amazing delicious and tasty. They were extremely friendly. I’d come back here again.
