Me and my friend Jerome M. went in to do some groceries shopping for dinner and we were followed around the store because we are black and at first I thought I was wrong but when the same 2 employees that were following us around weren't following anyone else or watching anyone else their were other black people in the store but weren't being followed after we asked them what we were being followed they said that we have stolen from there before was told by management to follow us around the store and we both haven't been in the store since high school and we're 37 now crazy

This is my favorite Vons in Bakersfield. The store is always well stocked and the employees are friendly and helpful. I always find what I am looking for here. I have used the restroom once and it was very clean. They also have a Wells Fargo bank inside. They also have a pharmacy inside.

Good selection of food and reasonable prices, however the store is far too dark. We don't shop there because of the lack of light. On the rare times we do, I need a flashlight to read labels.

They've added self checkout lanes now - without bags. You need to f8nd an employee and ask for a specific number of bags, then wait for them to get them for you. Not too time efficient.

Shopped there enough that I know where most stuff is! Clean store and helpful staff! Some issues with sparse shelves. Some shelves stocking has improved over time. Since the remodel I hate the store setup....I cant find what I want...just going back and forth! Today I went floors ripped up and areas not in use....Im thinking of changing where I shop!

The lady who had the badge book keeper is a racist evil woman. She has always given me a bad attitude whenever I have to do any form of business at the counter. She would find every excuse to not serve me or have me wait for long period of time. Once she served everyone infront of me then say I have to wait for someone else to be available as she is going to do something else, I was the only one left in the line. Today she refuse to cash my tickets saying she will not have any cash leave for anyone else. This is a supermarket with an abundance of cash for circulation and she is the book keeper how difficult can it be to balance. This lady is giving a bad impression of the location.

Wonderful store layout and great staff. I personally think that the remodel was a great improvement. I will continue shopping here for in store needs however not for pickup orders unfortunately. The Pickup staff here lack the great customer service I have seen at other locations and are slightly unreceptive to my feedback when I have small problems with my pickup orders.

Wheelchair accessible for me is always nice but Parking lot is to small for so many businesses, the store is always clean cashers are friendly and bathrooms kinda need updated small but Wheelchair accessible, They stock regularly most shelves are full since this pandemic this store has alot of items.

While I understand that remodels are necessary, it was disappointing to see such drastic cutbacks in the store. Even more disappointing was the fact that there is very little vegetarian food anymore in the freezer section yet there are three full isles of alcoholic beverages - no cutback there. The staff has indicated that the freezers and storage units in the back are full. We are also being told that this situation will be this way until August as the new refrigeration and freezer units are on back order. I ve been shopping at the store since it opened and I m sad to have to find another store now to do my shopping. I ll revisit in August when the remodel is supposedly supposed to be fixed. Very disappointed.

The big and a little older woman at customer service is rude as hell. However the woman in the bakery with the tattoos she is very sweet and helpful, I will go back due to people like her. Customer service needs help and its sad being customer service.

Love this Vons...great location, tons of parking, great Deli, Bakery, Produce, and Butcher Depts! The location of this Vons is on a piece of vast land via a new mall environment landscape, w/a plethora of retail shops, banks and food/restaurants...have fun

I like their products. I love that they have a Starbucks in the store. Usually I have no problems. Today after I got my haircut next door I went into Vons I bought a Starbucks drink then walked over to the deli, nobody greeted me. I looked at the deli items with intent to buy several deli items, and waited patiently by the counter for assistance. A worked asked if she could help me but her tone of voice was extremely rude and she had face piercings and looked unprofessional. My friend said that the lady reacted that way because they have problems with homeless people coming in etc which my reply to him was do I look homeless? I just had a shower within 2 hours, smelled of a nice perfume, just got a fresh haircut, and was dressed in brand name clothing with large logos all over it holding a Starbucks.

Went to the deli got me some tuna and the person that was working behind the deli didnt seal the container right and got tuna all over my back seat, now my car smells like tuna and a bad version of it after the day was over

Picked up a prescription there and they were slow as usual. The pharmacy staff had nobody in line but they were busy talking to each other and having me wait. Not very customer friendly.

Shop there on the five dollar Friday deals usually in the 6am or 7am hour when theres less customers at those times. For those who say Vons is overpriced you need a Vons Club to get the good deals. I really enjoy the Signature Brand.

Disappointed in the produce! My basil plant died the next day, baked potatoes were terrible so I couldnt purchase anything. Didnt get one of my things on special the young man was too busy talking to his friend that was bagging groceries to make it right so I just left.

The pharmacy staff tried to kill my husband who is diabetic by refusing to give him the antivirals that his doctor prescribed on the basis that he had to give them his blood test and positive covid test. The store overprices and caters to the rich elite. Would not recommend. If I could I would give them negative numbers.

Terrible Customer Service. Went To Order Something From Deli, And Associate Told Me To Hold On While He Answered His Cell Phone And Argued With The Caller.. Went Up Front To Check Out And Cashier Was Sitting On Counter Talking To 2 Other Associates, Cursing And Carrying On. And Chicken Was Not Edible... The Albertsons I went to at 11 a.m. was already out of a $5 Friday item. Luckily, Vons (its sister store) was about 1/2 mile away & had plenty. 4/10/22 -- I went to Vons again for $5 Friday since I was rite by there. It was early evening, so I didnt know if theyd have any of the item I needed. I was please (& a bit surprised) that they still had plenty on hand. I was in & out in record time!

Always a great experience .. I have the option of always having a handicap stall parking up front and then the shopping electric shopping cart to ride inside. It was nice and clean and everyone helped me when i needed help. Awesome staff willing to be there for the shoppers. After i got all my items I got into their roped line and staff directed me towards an open cashier to comply with COVID-19 guidelines. Then a staff member helped me to my car and unloaded my groceries for me and took back the scooter cart for me. Vons is just a great place to shop for me .. always happy to shop there with such a kind and friendly staff. I love coming here for whatever I need
