My only complaint is the same as others. It took way too long to get our food. We were sitting 1.5 hours before our food came. The chicken on my salad was barely warm and my oven baked pasta was cool enough to handle the dish. The food was still fantastic though. The tortellini was good and the sirloin (arrived after our other dishes) was thick and cooked correct. The staff were friendly and the decor was very nice. We also sat way too long waiting for our check. Honestly, the food was good but not sure I would go back.

I had a vegetable lasagna my kids had stuffed cheese ravioli and the other had shrimp fettuccine. My husband had a new York steak dinner and we took their homemade cheesecake to go. Excellent!

I got the shrimp fettuccine for pick up and I can't believe I paid $30 for this flavorless disappointment. At least the shrimps were good.

When I interacted with the wait staff for pickup, they seemed a little standoffish because I had a mask covering my face. Well I'll have you know that I am getting over the literal flu, and I am still symptomatic, and very possibly contagious.

Also turn off that god awful Christmas music for goodness sake.

I reserved the Wine Cave for my birthday party. The food was delicious and so flavorful. Our server, Breanna Lucy, was fantastic! We were a large group and she took care of us like family!
If you are looking for a place to have a private party this is the place! Great food and great service! Definitely will book there again!

Food was great. Server was wonderful, but it was so busy that we had to wait a while for drink refills, etc. We went to celebrate my birthday and all in all, we had a wonderful time. They sang me happy birthday and I had my choice of a free dessert. ☺️

Went here on 01/06/2025 for my 18th birthday! Off the gate, noticed a very appealing looking restaurant from the outside, and in. We were pleased to have Andrew J as our server. Not only was he friendly, easy to talk to, humorous, and knowledgeable, but he did his job exceedingly well. No complaints. Andrew even smoothly asked our occasion for dining in at Frugatti’s, which we then let him know of was for my 18th birthday, so, after my entree, Andrew gave me a choice of any dessert I wanted, helped me make my choice based off of a couple of factors, and him and the crew sang my Happy Birthday! Andrew, if you’re seeing this, thank you for making my birthday dinner enjoyable, and most importantly, memorable!

Excellent atmosphere both indoors and outdoors.

Indoors have a more upscale feel, while the outside seating area has a more casual feel.

There is plenty of space both indoors and outdoors for those with mobility
devices to maneuver.

Very professional and friendly staff.

Very large portion sizes for two to share any of thier Wood Oven Lasagna.

Overall Excellent experience two thumbs 👍 👍 will definitely stop by here again next we are in the area.

Went here on 01/06/2025 for my 18th birthday! Off the gate, noticed a very appealing looking restaurant from the outside, and in. We were pleased to have Andrew J as our server. Prefer Buca di Beppo.

Sicilian pizza was not the correct style. Lobster pasta was served with mashed potatoes.

The appetizer sampler, the spicy chicken was chewy and not spicy. The stuffed mushrooms were stale and lacked flavor.

The check in process was ok. Our server kept forgetting parmesan cheese.

I got the shrimp fettuccine for pick up and I can't believe I paid $30 for this flavorless disappointment. At least the shrimps were good.

Came here with my friend because I love pasta and everyone in town raves about this place. I ordered the wood grilled salmon with red pepper sauce and it wasn't the greatest. The sauce had an overwhelming taste of pepper and garlic which overpowered the dish. For the price of the food I expected better quality. I spent 50 dollars on just a plate of fish, potatoes, asparagus, and a slice of cheesecake. Would not recommend

I'm giving a three-star on the service because we were a very large party and it took quite a while just to get drink to wash down the bread. Also our party had reservations for 11:00 a.m. we were there until 12:30. Keep in mind if you're there during the winter time it can get very cold in the big back room. When we got there they had the heaters on but then they got turned off and it got very cold. I regretted leaving my jacket I highly recommend you bring your jacket with you they didn't bother to turn the heaters back on. Also I'm giving the two star on the food because the fettuccine alfredo hardly had any sauce, what little sauce there was, was at the bottom of the plate after I was scooping what I didn't eat until my take-home bowl. Learn and observe from uriccio's and how they serve their fettuccine alfredo with plenty of sauce. I think this restaurant is overrated.

My wife and I always enjoy an evening meal at Frugatti’s. Our server, Andrew is one of the best servers I’ve ever encountered. I’d even suggest requesting him even if you have to wait a little longer for a table.

Our first time at Frugatti’s new location. The dining area is beautiful, the heater and cooled patio is nice as well. Good food, good service and great atmosphere. The servings are as generous as they are delicious. The Gorgonzola Penne was great, as was my desert, the Lemon Ricotta Cheesecake. We’ll be back again and again.

Here in Bakersfield on business and felt like some Italian food, read the great reviews and headed out to Frugattis. On a Tuesday night at 6 pm this place already had a ton of people waiting to be seated (thought to myself definitely a good sign). Thankfully they had a bar with a couple open seats so I hopped on in, ordered some beers and just enjoyed the ambiance for a bit before ordering. Asked the Bartender (who's name I can't remember, but he was impeccable with his service and quick to refill my beers) for a side of pasta sauce to go with my bread, very happy I did this as sauce was incredible a d a easure to dip into. Then decided to order one of their specials on the menu and ohhhh my, this plate came presented beautifully and was the definition of bountiful. Very pleased with my meal as the food, ambiance and the service, will definitely be returning to Frugattis again while I'm still in town for Business.

Ordered a canzone and salad. Received a filet tip and shrimp scampi because neither the driver nor server checked the receipt. Food was delicious, but at all what I ordered. No napkins or silverware included.

What a nice place? You could never expected. But it's old time Italian restaurant. It has its own wine cellar. Food was excellent and plenty of it.

Service is phenomenal. I was truly impressed at the quality of service I received from the waiter. I have never felt that before another. For sure one of a kind.

The atmosphere did make me feel like I was in Italy. I've never been there but I would imagine it to feel like that.

Food I give it 5 stars because I'm not into Italian food so I'm not sure what good Italian food taste like or what to try (menu does show Fugattis favorites). Italian food gives me heartburn.

This is one of our favorite restaurants, I have shared many positive comments about this place, but my experience today unfortunately was not great, other than the food, it was great.
Let me start with today is our 40 th wedding anniversary, and we had reservations with them aware we were celebrating a special day for us.
We arrive and check in, we were rushed to the table. And it was a table, not a booth, no welcome to us, at all, we get seated and ask for a booth as it’s our Anniversary, they did move us, but the rest of experience was less that warm, no introduction, no welcoming table chat, it was rushed. After finishing, a box dropped off for us to take care of, asked for menu for dessert, it was set on table, no reference at all on anything, we decided to pass on desert, we had to bribe for a photo at the front door, just not a nice, place to celebrate our special day. Unfortunately it left us feeling less than welcomed to there place to celebrate, I believe it will be awhile before we try this out again. The former location always made us feel special on our days to celebrate, it’s the little things that make you feel special. I hope this falls it the right area to see, as food was good, just everything else not great. Just sharing our experience, and I hope it helps someone realize some people only go out on special occasions, and miss feeling appreciated or excited about sharing meal here.

After getting up at 2:00 a.m. and running all day we were exhausted and starving and we had very much looked forward to food from this restaurant. Unfortunately they got the first order wronged and our doordash deliverer had to wait while so our food took ok more than a half an hour longer than it should have. But it was delicious

My gal friends and I went for a simple and small birthday dinner. Our waitress took a bit of a minute but it was a full house; it was understandable. I think her name was haile? She has blond hair, glasses, and neon green nails. She was absolutely amazing, she was attentive and would check in to refill or if we wanted any deserts or anything else to order. She was supper sweet. Food didn't take long to arrive to our table and everything was delicious. My girlfriends had the lasagna and the shrimp garlic pasta I believe. The portions are big I will say but it works out since it can be saved for lunch for the following day or shared. Overall I had a great experience and will be back in the near future with my family.

We now live out of town, but met for our anniversary here and it really is the place that has it all! There is no better restaurant in Kern county and Tulare county! Food service and atmosphere combined they are number one! We had such a great time thanks to Lindsey and I believe the manager for making it such a special night with our 3 wild boys!!

The food was amazing with massive portions which means lunch and dinner for me. Prices were extremely fair considering the quality and quantity of the food and the impeccable service (I don't think my glass stayed empty for more than a couple of minutes each time). The wait staff were friendly. Even the portable restrooms were clean, air conditioned and classy instead of what you'd normally see at the fair, swap meet, etc. and I personally appreciate that because we brought our kids and my autistic 5 year old is scared to death of the other kind and would have cried. We did get a little overstimulated by the echo but that is absolutely an us problem and nobody is responsible for that. Had it been a cooler day I believe the patio would have been a great option instead. I can't wait to come back and try again!

I new location is nice, it server was bad, and rude, the guy who help us later was friendly and helpful ,the problem was the food was not good, not flavor at all ,that pasta if I make could be better than that. Very expensive but it didn't worked out for us .very disappointed, the oder scampi shimp was grease it wasn't creamy sauce . Not more frugatti's for us

I ordered the garlic chicken fettuccine Alfredo. It comes with red bell peppers and almonds. I thought the almonds were weird at first, but they complimented the dish quite nice. The bread is soft and fresh. The customer service was great. It was clean, and the vibe was chill. I gave a 4 for food because my food was good, but it wasn't anything spectacular. It's also expensive. My plate was $26, but if you eat enough bread, you can have leftovers for the next day. The plate is big enough to share with someone. I ate here for my birthday and they let you select a dessert for free so I chose the cheese cake which was good. They also sing to you.

I’m so sad! We had a large party of 13. While service was pretty good our food was terrible! I noticed a lot of unfinished food at the table but specifically the Roman artichoke angel hair pasta was nothing more than a cold pile of pasta with 4 pieces of artichoke…literally just pasta..no salt.. no oil & no flavor. I wish I had said something altho a good server will ask why you aren’t eating. My partners spicy shrimp pasta wasn’t any better & he told the server that the shrimp were slimy & fishy smelling. Fun fact our server started to say they get that a lot but caught himself 🤔 Bread & salad with creamy Italian were as I remembered but it’s just way too much $$ for the food here

We loved it. Hubby and I had the meatball lasagna and it tasted very good. But our waiter, Andrew was amazing, he was ontop of everything and knew what he was talking about too. In addition to the food and atmosphere, he(our waiter) added to our experience. Thank you Andrew.🙏🏾

We ordered catering for a retirement party and it was amazing. Setting up the order was easy, everything arrived on time (early in fact), and all 16 people loved every bite. From the 4 year old to the 65, not a crumb was left! We are still getting messages from the group saying how much they loved the food. Thank you all so much for helping make the day perfect! 10/10

The food was delicious. The wait time wasn’t bad. Our waiter Andrew was amazing, very friendly and very helpful when substituting food and recommending food. The one maybe bad thing is the noise level but besides that it was an excellent experience. The atmosphere around the restaurant was beautiful from pictures to the lights and the whole set up of the restaurant was something special.

I gave 2 stars because the food was good. But, don’t waste your time making a reservation, they don’t honor it. They make you wait just like everyone else. Plus, they are so busy the customer service suffers. Is great to see a restaurant busy and doing well. But save yourself the bad customer service and order take out, they have that option.

Had a 4 o'clock reservation, had to wait 30 minutes to b seated. You would think they would have our table ready. Finally seated, we got our bread right away but waited another 30min to get a drink order in and receiving our drinks 25 min later. Our waiter finally came back to take food order. We waited 45 mins for our food and when we got it, it was cold and pasta dried out. Granddaughters mac n cheese was in one huge dried out lump. YUK! Here is the clincher, I had a chicken in mushroom sauce dish and about half way through I find a 3 to 4 inch black hair in it. I discreetly showed and told the waiter, he said sorry and walked away. He came back 20 min later and asked me if I wanted a to go box for my chicken. Uumm no it has a hair in it. He handed me the check and there was no discount for the hair. Needless to say not very pleased with service or food. But I will say the restaurant itself was really nice. First time we have been there and not impressed.

Large party of 30 in Cave room. One server, no bread till complained. No salad plates or forks, had to use entree plate and save fork. Got 2nd server after complaining to manager, Manager said "that's how we do it"

Atmosphere was beautiful, Meals needed salt, our waitress was nice but some waiters were standoffish, Childs Mac n cheese is obviously box/kraft Mac and cheese and they sold it for 10.00.

I went with my daughter last night. We were told the wait was a 45-55 minutes and ended up waiting about 90 minutes.
I’ll say the staff up front stood in the pocket and took the bullets from hungry diners admirably, though I understood there was little they can do short of pulling the chairs out from under the diners who were lingering at their table for an extended time.

The food was/is incredible. Our server Roxy was attentive and hustling.

My suggestion would be to get a reservation a day or so in advance if you have a larger party. We left with smiles and will return better prepared to avoid an extended wait.

Pricier than what I'm normally used to, but food is not bad, the service is EXCELLENT. Really good portions/servings too. Nice location, good ambiance. Overall, a good place to go for special occasions.

Never got any table service.
Got seated after 1 hr. 35 min.
No water, no acknowledgement from any staff. Never got a chance to taste the food. Will NOT RETURN.

This place was BUSY but I was flying solo and willing to sit in the patio so avoided the 30+ min wait. Service was fast and professional, food was delicious, portions were HUGE. What more do you want?

I ordered to go , and they gave me the wrong order. I didn't check my order. I got home, 7.2 miles away, and then noticed the wrong order.when I I called, they said that they knew and said keep the wrong one, a calazone, not a pizza and if I wanted to come back my pizza was waiting. I went back because that is what I wanted! Wasn't happy having to drive another 15 miles round trip for my dinner

Great food. We have been going to Sorella's since the 1990's since it's close to home. Havn't been to Frugatti's for years. Tried the new location for the first time. Great atmosphere, beautiful restaurant, super fresh ingredients at every level. Our server Laura gave us great service. Have been in the restaurant business for many years making me extremely selective and limited to just a few places for dining out. Fruggatti's will be our Italian stop on a regular basis from now on. Keep up the good work.

We had reservations so we were seated right away. The inclosed patio is amazing, the did and service were incredible! We had a nice dinner. Even though they were very busy the service was great! Drinks never ran dry and they were quick to get anything you asked for.
