Panini Kabob Grill - Bakersfield

I dined in at Panini with my family, and the Vibe of the place was really spectacular. With nice music playing and beautiful pictures on the wall, I really felt comfortable with my experience. Although extremely busy, I felt that the service was very attentive and friendly. We were given extra hummus and pita while we waited for our food, and whenever we needed anything The Manager and servers were very prompt in getting us whatever we wanted. I would definitely recommend trying Panini out if you haven't already. 10/10

A lot nicer than I expected. Very new and clean looking atmosphere. Most Mediterranean places tend to be a takeout-type. This one, it seemed appropriate to sit in. Everything from the drinks (lemonade tasted like it was real lemonade and didn't come out of a soda fountain)to the dessert was very flavorful. Great service and very reasonably priced for the amount and quality of food.

Very delicious food! Big menu full of veriety of food. Vegeterian will be happy here! I'm giving the food 4 stars because it was small portion. The restaurant is beautiful and staff are very nice. You can sit outside if you want.

I had never been here before but came with a friend. I got the linguine pesto chicken pasta. So. Good. I had a starter of lentil soup, also very good. All the food is hot too, which is a plus to me!

We went in around 5:30pm to eat in and we started with drinks which they had no Coke then we asked for coffee as the backup option and they responded how they had no fresh coffee only the one the leftovers from breakfast. Then we ordered for a humus trio appetizer and after we ordered our main order but we recieved the appetizer with cold hard Pita. Which then came with the main order so we recieved the appetizer and the main entrees together which was not to our liking and we recieved the basmati rice cold as well as the whole meal cold. Then the main entree was a family combo came with a portion of little to no rice and all cold. Then we asked for a side or basmati rice since there was none in the main plate and it came cold so we had to ask for it to be heated up and brought hot. Then our waiter Sharon L took a long while to come check on us which lead for one of us to stand up and ask someone else for another side we wanted to order. All in all after she came by to give us the check she just left it in the table and left and we put our card waiting for her to come by and get it but she never did and we waited like 10 mins and eventually got tired so we had to stand up and pay up front and have the cashier ring us out.

I am a regular customer almost I get food every day i’m a loyal customer always have a good experience with the whole crew but this time I went to get the family meal and we paid by card after I pay I asked for salsa and the lady she said we have to charge you OK that’s fine but we’ll attitude the lady she’s like in her mid 50s early 60 call her name is Michelle she have the worst attitude like I’m she’s giving me food for free usually there is a lady named Erica. She will help us with her to go order. She’s a sweetheart, but I never have bad experience with a lady on the cashier like this one. we ordered the family size they didn’t put enough plates. After we paid, we asked for salsa and she charged us with bad attitude, the cashier Michelle said she is the director of operation for the restaurant. She shouldn’t be there. She had a bad attitude. She put the AirPods in her ears when we talk to her she couldn’t hear, she doesn’t have a clue about customer service. She made us feel like if we were asking for a free food.

I am giving then a two star review because the avocado salad I ordered was mainly consistently made from the lettuce most inner remains, the yellowish portation of it! But the vegan linguini was good.

To be honest, I really didn’t get an opportunity to taste the food because the service was horrific!!! I’ve never in all my years experience such services. My past experiences at Panini (Beverly Hills and Playa Vista) were superb however, today in Bakersfield, it was like night and day, being on the total complete opposite side of the spectrum. The waiter was soooo rude and nasty and none-apologetic as if he was paying me to eat there. I don’t know what has happened to customer services in this place but it appears to be obsolete!!!! I was going to bring them a catering order in the $thousands of dollars but now, I wouldn’t feed my puppy from this place. I plan to call the corporate office but I want to warn the public.

I really used to enjoy this place. We came at lunch time, about 11, and it wasn't a busy day. We still couldn't get service quickly, and when we did get our food which wasn't cooked completely, the waitress didn't check on us to make sure it was correct. I will be going to a different Mediterranean restaurant from now on, since there are so many to choose from now locally.

I like here food , but the service is terrible, one time I waited more then hour that they will bring my food, second time almost 40 minutes, finally told why is so long, because soon I need to leave, and I wanted enjoy my food without rush, they told me that meet cooks around 15 minutes, but I waited almost 40 minutes. And after when I said , they finally bringed food. Now I’m worrying to come to this places, because I don’t want wait too long, but food here are really very nice, I loved it

We arrived at 2pm is . Typical lunch time and not really busy ! We are greeting by one of worker (standing at register at the counter) "Sit anywhere you want" . We sit and waiting 15 to 20 minutes !!! Finally server come and we placed the order ! Order Bowl of lentils soup , steak skirt medium cook and ice tea .
Its take 30 minutes just for Lentils soup . Another 20 minutes my steak skirt kabob come but very welldone. I call the server and ask to fix my meal as the way I want "Medium Cook" . We waiting until 4pm (2hŕs) never come my steak skirt meal ! I see woman & man manager sitting and eating !!! Don't care about us !!!
Very disappointed and horrible service !!!

Really good food. I come here often to get the chicken kabob plate with basmati rice and Mediterranean salad. The chicken is seasoned well and is cooked all the way through but still juicy. It's a lot of food so we always ask them to split it in two so that we each get our own rice and salad. It's just $4 more to do that. I've tried the salmon kabob before too, but I didn't like it because it was super fishy so I wouldn't buy it again. All in all it's good I just wish they had chili sauce and garlic sauce like they do at Sultan's and Flame and Skewers. I asked for chili here once and they brought me Tabasco....weird, so I just take my own Sriracha when I go.

Worst experience in a Panini café I've ever had. The waitress Grecia M let us know that they close at 9pm and it was 8:30 when we got there. We weren't sure if she was telling us to leave or what but we said ok. We were only getting two dishes any way. It took her forever to take our order almost like she was hoping we would leave because it was getting closer to 9. The plates she got us werent clean and the whole time she never checked up on our table. We had to go to the counter to ask for everything we needed. It was very evident that she was angry that we were there. My step dad had worked for panini for years in the past so he was furious at the lack of service and hostility Grecia and the kitchen staff through our way. To make matters worse once we get our bill they charge us for $21 of tip pickup for our table for what? McDonald's gives better customer service then they did today. We were very disappointed because we honestly love this restaurant but I guess we will have to look for a different one from now on.

Walked in and the smell of sewage hit me like a brick wall! No way, no how could I sit and enjoy a meal here. Although the inside looks nice and clean I couldn't bring myself to sit and eat in such stench. I questioned the staff of the smell and they said it always smells like this. I wish I had taken a picture of our beautiful plate of kabob...but it has been ravaged joyously. I go out of my way to eat at this restaurant in OC, so having one in Bakersfield is a gift. It takes a little bit to get your meal, but that is because everything is cooked fresh. It's worth the wait. Can be busy for brunch as well.

Jaw dropping Mediterranean food. We couldn't get enough of it. Don't skip out on their chicken kabob! It is hands down the best I've ever had. Their combo appetizer platter is also pretty amazing with 3x different Hummus, cucumbers, pits bread, olives, taziki sauce, and caprisi salad.

Best Greek food you'll get in town, hands down. This isn't the kind of greasy garbage you'll get at flaming skewers, oh no. This is primo quality kebabs, rice and salad. And their portions are freaking huge!

You can split the plate for an extra 4 bucks and get a huge portion of rice and salad for two, along with a healthy serving of some of the best kebabs I've had.

The only complaint I have is that there's not a location closer to where I live! Even so, it's definitely worth the drive across town.

1st time coming to eat. I sat down and was greeted by a waitress. They brought our drinks pretty fast. The food took about 30 minutes, which i find it normal for what we ordered. The waitress was ok. She didn't come and check on us for drinks or if we needed anything after we got our meal. It was freezing inside. Make sure you take a sweater inside with you.

Wanted a booth seat for my back. 7 dirty tables, 5 booths dirty. Waited 10 minutes. Another person came and sat at table. Still no tables cleaned. My wife ask if we're going to be able to get a booth soon and she said " we're not going to clean table until all other customers served. And only going to serve poeple at clean table" stupidest thing I've heard in Restaurant. So we left. Really good food. Stupid waitress

Best chicken soup I've had in a long long time. Excellently flavoured with large portions of roast chicken and veggies like potatoes, carrots, celery, tomatoes and onion. Not your typical chicken soup flavor, more along the lines of homemade minestrone. Approaching lunch I had chosen to eat here as a healthier option and ordered the falafel wrap, pleasantly surprised that salad or soup was available as the side. Very clean, nicely presented with indoor and outdoor seating available. They were consistently busy with a variety of families, business guests and even a birthday party table. Wait times were reasonable and prices good for the freshness & quality of the meals. The homemade lemonade with strawberry option was a refreshing start on this warm day. I also like the photographs displayed along the walls, simple content, styles and frames that continued to convey freshness and a somewhat homey feel in a semiformal way. I look forward to returning and trying more of the menu.

Food is great! Chicken is delicious! Good portions. I took off a star for a couple reasons. First reason was because of the mushroom skewers. They are way over priced! They give you 5 mushrooms and then take up space with large grilled veggies and charge you $10.99(I will include a picture of them). The second reason is because they don’t have any sauces. Most Mediterranean spots I go to have really delicious sauces that compliment the food. That’s it. I still recommend. I just wouldn’t expect a sauce variety and I would just grill my own mushrooms.

Went here yesterday. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it is definitely a hidden gem! I had the chicken pita w/ chicken vegetable soup as my side. Amazing. My coworker had the salmon plate and didn't talk until they were finished, so I would assume the salmon is good as well!
