It's definitely a must go.
Food: 10/10 I had the chilaquiles Rojas, and they were delicious. Great spicy taste.
Drinks: 8/10 Their cocktails were great as well, although their Bloody Mary mix was too salty for my liking. The passion fruit Martini is a must try.
Atmosphere: 8/10 The restaurant is clean with nice decor. The music is a bit loud, making it hard to hear everyone at the table. However, the solution is to head outside to their covered patio. It's a great option, especially on a cool day.
Overall, it's a great place yo bring the family or have brunch with your friends.

Great spot for a quick breakfast or lunch. Came here in the afternoon on a Tuesday and it was just busy enough to feel the vibe but not too crowded for a table.
Had the plant based chilaquiles which had lot of good reviews online and they did not disappoint. Felt light, flavorful and tasty without overbearing on tofu or cheese. Definitely one of the better ones I’ve had.
Highly recommended this place and the ambience is very nice as well.

This place is a gem!
The vibes- Are bright, colorful, and welcoming. It’s my go to spot for bringing my girlfriends to catch up, especially with some mimosas or cafe de olla.
The food- the chilaquiles are my go to but everything I’ve tried I loved!
The owners- are lovely people and the wife made me feel so welcomed when hosting my party of 20 people in their private event area. She definitely made it her mission to make my party a success.
Whether it’s a date, co-worker lunch, or friends meet up.. I 100% recommend coming to this cute local spot ❤️

Driving thru Bakersfield and we looked up a place to eat nearby, we were not disappointed, the restaurant has a unique look to it, could have been a bed and breakfast in the past, We were greeted with a smile and warm welcome, seated and brought water. There menu offers a variety of delicious plates including but not limited to red chilaquiles, vegan entrees or a juicy turkey burger. I had the red chilaquiles! They were better than I expected. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!!

I went with the bottomless mimosa and the flavors ranged from mango, orange, lemonade, and guava.
The only reason I gave this place 4 stars was that I had asked for no peppers in my dish and still got some. There was a little bit of an extended wait for our mimosas to be refilled as well.
Other than that this place was really impressive!

This wonderful restaurant, which is attached to the Best Western, has the most delicious food! I should have taken pictures of the dinner that we had the night before because the food was excellent. I had the salmon, and my sister had the barramundi. I also had their Mango Margarita, which was wonderful. They mentioned that they have a larger breakfast menu if we wanted to order off that instead of using the $10 coupon from Best Western. Their breakfast menu is much more extensive and definitely worth trying. We shared the avocado toast, which had homemade feta cheese and the chilaquiles. Check their hours for dinner they may just be open on the weekends unless there is a big event going on across the street at the convention center.

The Food: Small portions, overpriced, bland favor, not authentic.
I got the chilaquiles for $18-$19 and it was a very small portion, the chips were hard and the flavor was a bit bland compared to other places. I've bought chilaquiles for $8 at another restaurant and the portion was much larger and more flavorful. They also give you an obsurdly small amount of beans on the side of your meal as well, with No rice. I also ordered a side of fries, a bowl of fruit(which is extremely small), and a coffee. My order came out to nearly $50🤦♀️ They add their own tip so you have no choice but to pay the service fee. My mom ordered the pancakes & let me try a bite, it was powdery, bitter, and doughy. It tasted like it was not finished. The menu is very limited & each 'hispanic' dish does not contain traditional ingredients. For example, the 'nachos' do not have beans, meat, shredded cheese or nacho cheese, guac or pico on them which is usually the main ingredient for nachos. Oh and none of their menu items have asada which is another thing that all Hispanic restaurants have.
The Service: It took a little more than 1.5 hours for our food to come out. We had a party of 13 and they told us they don't do separate checks on large parties but they could do separate payments which makes no sense. So one of us had to calculate our orders and tell the waitress to charge different cards per order.
The atmosphere: The decorations are cute and I enjoyed the interior design, I wish the food and service could be as good as how the place looks. The names of the foods were ridiculous, they try to make something simple sound fancy so they can charge more for it.
In a nutshell, each one of us that came to this place all said we're likely not going back to Mango Haus. If you want healthy Mexican food with larger portions for cheaper prices, try VMG a couple blocks down. This place is not it.

Amazing flavor and equally as amazing quality! The atmosphere is so calming , the service is with a smile and the ingredients are ones you can eat without guilt. Avacado oils for frying organic corn mostly organic everything grass fed meats, no cane sugar, real Maple! This is my new favorite Restraunt, it’s so hard to find quality with taste and this place checks all the boxes. Weather your a meat eater or a vegan they have options for all. Vegan friendly and carnivore they even have gluten free options. So happy with this place even all my hungry teenagers loved everything they ordered. Prices are very reasonable especially with the quality you are getting as well.

I have never experienced such an unpleasant reception. Although there was no reception at the entrance, the waiter wanted to send us back to the entrance, and in an inappropriate manner. There were only 2 tables occupied in the restaurant. As we had stayed in the hotel we wanted to have breakfast. As we were not welcome we decided to leave. This restaurant is not recommended, if it were possible it would get minus points.

I appreciate how close this restaurant is to the Amtrak station! I had a 50 minute wait from when my bus arrived to when I'd need to board the train. I was STARVING, as I'd been up since 8am and only had a small salad for breakfast.
I arrived and smelled the refreshing scent of Rain from a nearby candle. It was burning on the table in the waiting area. The restaurant wasn't too busy, I could look in from where I was waiting and I saw three tables occupied.
I stood there waiting for a few minutes before a manager (I'm assuming) noticed me and motioned for a nearby waiter to approach me.
Once approached, I mentioned my time constraint and asked for the Chipotle Burrito to-go.
As I waited, the waiter gave me a water with a lemon in it. Once I received my food (which smelled great), I poured the remaining water into my 65 oz water canister. The waiter was kind, he offered to fill my canister fully for my travel.
We made some small talk and then I hurriedly left. I was so happy when I could eat my food on the train. I was FAMISHED.
The food was tasty. A few other passengers even commented on how good it looked.
The food was quite hot (not just temperature), so I'm thankful for the sauce it came with. It helped with the spice haha
Thank you for the food! This made my travel much more bearable with having a full stomach!

I was so excited to try this place, especially since they had vegan options and the good reviews for the food. The atmosphere is superb, but the service lacked a bit since I was seated there for quite a while before someone came. I felt the server was a bit passive aggressive for some reason, but I let it slide and throughout since ordering the service was good. The food tasted good but then I ended up sick afterwards with nausea and diarrhea. There was a nat in my drink as well. Such a shame because this place has real potential but I don’t trust going back. I ordered the guava drink and the breakfast vegan tacos.

First time at this place. Curious to try a restaurant that is part of the 'Blue Zone Project'. Tried the Oaxacan mole, grilled cauliflower, and Mango Haus fish taco. It's really tasty, and the portion is just enough. The cafe de olla and mojito are also really good. The best part is I didn't feel stuffed or bloated after lunch!
Plus point for nice decor.

Food is okay! Place is super cute, but service could improve a lot. We were celebrating a friend’s birthday, and had to turn away 3 people because there was no space at the table and staff refused to give us an extra table. First they said they were full of reservations and had a waiting list, then they changed their reasoning and said kitchen was very busy to welcome more people. I understand they need to respect reservations, but two low tables and two high tables were empty the whole time we were there. Sad to see they are not very flexible to accommodate to customers that already showed up.

I ABSOLUTLY LOVE the concept of the place. The emphasis on putting "GOOD" food into your body is refreshing. My host and server were very personable and extremely nice. The place looks so cute in photos.
The service was good she was friendly and responsive.
But the food selection was limited. The quality of food was awful and way over priced.
I got a Hamburger, it was small, didn’t taste good the side came out cold and under cooked.
My date got the ABLT the bacon was microwaved.
So for a small hamburger with a cold side and A ABLT sandwich we both paid $20 and had water.
I wish our experience was better. We had such high hopes and the pictures and reviews lead us to supporting this local business. But it was a disappointment and after posting on my social media I have had several friends commenting that they too have had this disappointing experience. Beware of these reviews.

This is my second time coming here. My initial experience was excellent. The owner is friendly and helpful and explained the philosophy of Mango Haus and I was sold! The other servers were nice. I love that they always try to have the most fresh organic ingredients possible. And the way that they prepare the meals is healthy. Few restaurants take the care to prepare foods without inflammatory oils, etc. Just about everything they prepare is the healthiest version of that dish. I feel like I'm being good to my body by eating here.

Joel and Valerie were great. We’ve had Joel serve us before and he was extremely attentive and informative of our food choices. Both of them were patient with all our questions (we have a lot of dietary restrictions) so we really appreciated the service they gave. The food is great as usual and is Latin/Spanish inspired with vegan options readily available. And not the simple “add tofu” instead of meat either - they make sure it blends well with the flavors their food has. I go here every time I come to town. The bottomless mimosas are also a great plus because finding bottomless mimosas is pretty rare nowadays. The owner is also knowledgeable about the origins of the menu he’s created. It’s a great experience. Definitely will keep coming back.

What a great place! Completely opposite of what was here before. The mango haus reminds me of trendy little places in the Bay area or LA. Great menu, amazing atmosphere, so bright and cheery. Background music by artists with a somewhat Latin flair such as the Buena Vista social club and Spanish Harlem orchestra, loud enough to mask the traffic noise from truxtun, but hard to hear because of the laughter and conversation in the place. Super happy vibes. On this day the weather was good and they had the double doors open to the parking lot just in front of Truxtun. Gentle breeze billows the sheer curtains in and out as if the place was breathing. I had such a great time here. Food? Oh my gosh yes! I had an amazing salad, but I can't tell you what it was called, because I didn't take a picture of the menu, and I can't find one online that matches what I had yesterday. Suffice to say, it was like a chef or Cobb salad with eggs, ham, bacon, chicken, tomatoes, (I had them add onions...), And even a little lettuce. I'm not sure what constitutes keto but this might be it. For dessert I had an exotic cake. Olive and lemon Bundt cake. Wonderfully dense, delightfully subtle flavors. With a big scoop of mango sorbet on top. To drink? I had a butterfly lemonade. Yeah I'm sure no butterflies were harmed in the making of it but it was dang pretty and tasty. I will definitely be going back.
