Service was great from start to finish. I ordered the shrimp Cajun pasta. The noodles were very good. Tasted almost homemade. The overall pasta however lacked the Cajun zing one would expect to tast.

Overall menu looked good with plenty to choose from. They have a good sized bar with plenty of tvs for those sports fans. Not a bad place overall.

Enjoyed some delicious appetizers; calamari and tempura green beans with a chill glass of Mumm Napa sparkling wine. They also have music on weekends which is a nice treat for us music lovers.
Great Service & nice selection of Entrees & Wines.
I finally found my new favorite place.

Overall not a bad experience, but if you want to go out with the family to dinner, with a kid or two, etc, maybe go elsewhere. This place is really more bar than restaurant. The focus in on the bar, the music is loud. The food is OK, our order wasn't quite right, but not bad and service was super nice.

This was the first time I had been there. They have several different dishes to choose from. There were 6 people in our party and they were able to seat us immediately. We ordered 2 appetizers fried green beans and bleu cheese dip and chips. The green beans were fried perfectly with a nice light coating and wasn't greasy at all. The dip came with homemade chips that were seasoned a little too much but they were very good. One person ordered meatloaf that was very good and it came with scallop potatoes. Two people ordered a chicken dish that came with a sauce that they both said was really good. Two people ordered the Crab and Shrimp Louie salad and I was told it was one of the best they had ever had. One person had the Grilled Chicken Ciabatta sandwich that would normally come with avocado but was ordered without and had the basil pesto sauce on the side. The sandwich was very good with just the chipotle aioli sauce and prosciutto and pepper jack cheese. The fries had a good flavor but was a bit undercooked to my liking. We will definitely go back and recommend to others.

It felt like the regular chef is either out sick or on vacation.
The fried green beans were good.
The potato chips were good.
Now for the rest;
The dressings for the very-old-lettuce salad all tasted odd. Ranch, bleu cheese, champagne vinagrette all tasted like they had some funky spice that doesn't belong in them added.
The lamb chops were HAMMERED. Luckily the manager(?) Came out and offered to replace them (thus the upgrade from 1 to 2 stars). Even the second round of chops though were overly fatty and grissly.
The classic burger was good. Hard to mess that up.
The raviolis were greasy but tasted okay according to my fellow diner.
The food despite the small crowd took an extraordinarily long time to get to the table. If I hadn't been so hungry when I got here, I wouldn't have eaten the salad.
I can't recommend the place because just about everywhere else I've eaten is better.
Kudos to the staff (our waitress and the manager) for replacing food and taking the raviolis off of our bill.

We came here wanting a cheap and fun date night. Based on the website, it said on Saturdays happy hour is all day, live music, and buy one get one entree. We got there they said there wasn’t happy hour today and live music wasn’t until 8pm. The website didn’t say what time the live music was. Also, I ordered a margarita and it tasted awful. I then got a sangria and that was better. Waited forever for the appetizer. We had mentioned to our server about the buy one get one entree and also showed him the discount on the menu and said people never ask him about that deal and would go check and never gave us an answer. The server did say that if it’s on the menu/website they have to honor it. He brought the bill , we noticed we didn’t get a discount and he left. So we asked another server she said the website isn’t updated but we honor the menu. She said they can do it. The menu said it was buy one get one half off entree. So we asked to to have the manager comp it, she went to the manager and came back and said we can’t do it because it’s only for these options and you can’t do it cause you got a burger. When we weren’t told that we had to get those to honor the discount. She rudely said sorry does that answer your questions and walked away. This place drawls you in and doesn’t follow discounts, doesn’t update their website, food was good but took awhile for the appetizer. When we went when it was a slow time. The bar tender doesn’t know how to make a margarita, and manager doesn’t care about customers needs. He didn’t even try to talk to us so we could address our concerns. So no, we won’t come back and don’t recommend this place either. They got what they wanted, they got our money, very rude, and didn’t give a crap. Horrible experience!

My first time here, recommended by a friend... it was super good, prices are good and the staff was great, very attentive. I got to meet the owner and what a great guy!!

Cool place and very divirsified. I see TV personalities, business owners(from commercials), construction workers(clean cut), bikers, suites and skirts, rich/poor, athletes and golfers. They even have cute cowboys that seem real. Every color, race and religion, sexual preference and everyone from each group seems to genuinely like each other for the most part. The happy hour crowds are the best. Most people that going out here live within a few miles. My gf and I feel welcome here. We Love the sliders! The only thing negative is they don't update their website or honor what's advertised.

Brian the waiter and bartender is the best! We come to Wikis for the great atmosphere and Brian, and after 145 pm its not crowded most times and nice, and Brian is always respectful and nice. And the food is good, as i never rate food more than a 4 star, unless its crazy amazing in Maui or something, but ya Wikis is a godo spot, and we have come there since 2014, and its a 2 min drive from my house lol. Stay well all!

Decided to make reservations for Mother's Day brunch and was without question extremely disappointed. I've been to Wiki's before, which is the only reason I'm not going to judge the restaurant solely on this experience. The presentation of the buffet was the first impression that just kept letting us down. Everything was picked over. You could tell they were not replenishing as people were taking things. The food appeared to have been cooked hours before and just left to dry out and get cold. The dishes were dirty, and you needed to grab a couple of plates before you reached a clean enough one to eat off of. There were no silverware or serving spoons in some of the dishes. The fruit was extremely picked over, and what was left was warm, dried out, and looked disgusting. I was so disgusted and disappointed by what was seen, and tasted, that I finally asked the waitress if they were getting ready to close the buffet down because it was hardly worth keeping open and she said oh no it doesn't close down until 3 (it wasn't even 1 yet). Right before we got the check our waitress came over and asked if we were disappointed with the buffet or had any issues because the table she just sat had immediately got up and told her there was no way they were eating there. We expressed our concerns but made sure she knew it was no reflection on her and that we were frequent diners so we knew this was completely out of character but honestly I think we would've been happier dining at a gas station then what we experienced today.

Been here a few times now and each time has been great. The food is really tasty and fresh, the servers are friendly and helpful and even though the prices are pretty good every day, they have a great happy hour and different daily specials. Nice atmosphere, great wine choices, fun people.

I gave them 3 stars bcus I went there to have what to me, was the best Manhattan in town!! But to my immense disappointment, this visit, it so was not!! I was so disappointed to find that they failed at it badly!! If I had to guess, it was more of an Old Fashioned. And even then, an Old Fashioned would still be better! The server we had was 3 days new, and she was very sweet. Tried really hard to get us taken care of, but had to ask me a good 3 times what I had asked for. But, again she was new and was really trying so gotta give her love for that! Will I go back? Maybe not for drinks! But the atmosphere is great and it is a nice place to hang with friends and listen to live music. Plus, their food really is good!

Wikis was one of my favorite establishments in town! I loved the food, vibe, location and service. I went recently and was surprised how things went down. The restaurant is beautiful and I love how they expanded. However service was not as good as I remember. We were seated by the host and it took twenty minutes for the waitress to come to our table. The host has felt bad when he noticed no one even acknowledged our table. Finally someone came and took our order. Two appetizers & drinks were ordered for starters. The fried green beans were extra well done where they tasted burnt, we didn't even eat them. The nachos were good. Our entrees were delicious. I hope it was just one not so good experience. Usually I'm always happy going to Wikis. Hopefully my next experience there will be better!!

We went for the food. Menu has a lot of options but neither entrée was good. Flavors didn't work and the place reminded me of kitchen nightmares. It's as if the chef has no real experience and is winging it. Getting seated was a bit clunky but our server was nice. The atmosphere has a bit of an identity crisis. Nice restaurant or expensive pick up joint? It all just doesn't work.

Chef Salutan acts like he cares about the food but in all reality the only thing he cares about is his ego.

Food is extremely inconsistent, line cooks seem to not care and just push out quanity instead of quality. I wonder if it's because they work two jobs.

Some things are really good. Some are horrid. Either way whatever you order will be different every time depending on who makes it. Good thing the clientele is mostly focused on alcohol. This place doesn't get it and hasn't gotten it. Bakersfield doesn't eat quail.

I was for the first time on Sunday 09/10 in this place with a friend, at breakfast time, I ordered some pancakes with eggs and everything was very delicious, the place was very pleasant, the service was very excellent without a doubt, I will go again Try all the dishes they serve, as you crave them.

It was our first time to the restaurant and we were seated by the service bar that every waiter would come to get supplies which was annoying and loud where the waiters would group and talk. We waited for about 20 minutes when a waiter that appeared to be having a ‘bad’ day came up and asked what we wanted to drink and we told him we’d have a mixed drink and he didn’t even know what they were and rudely said that they were so old fashioned that nobody even ordered those drinks anymore! Needless to say after our experience we will never go back.. oh, and it took another 45 minutes to get our drinks & food…. RIDICULOUS

I was there about two weeks ago with friends and I was embarrassed to have chosen this restaurant for our meet. First of all the waiter (a young male), got our orders wrong and forgot to bring out our drinks. He also had no clue what beers the restaurant had to offer. He also did not know much about the beers the restaurant offered. The food also took a long time (over 45 mins to arrive). The atmosphere was meh, it seemed all the waiters were not in a good mood.

The owner is racist I used to be employed there and he told us to stop playing that nigg** music when it was low and was just rap, saw him putting his arms around customers while they were intoxicated (mainly women), would constantly stare at the waitresses as well. I would not tolerate even consuming their food.

Not my favorite hang out spot. Maybe because it’s loud and hard to hear the people I’m with. But the food is good and the outside area pleasant. I do end up at this restaurant often at celebrations and lunches with friends. I have had several menu items and have never been disappointed. The staff is friendly and attentive.

Was there to pick up food, staff ignored me at the front kiosk multiple times, I had to almost go into the kitchen to let someone know I was there to pick up! Very rude and unprofessional staff.

Went here for beers and it was great. We were expecting to pay more but got a discount cause it was all day happy hour! The food looked amazing as well. Definitely worth hitting up if your in the area.

The drinks are poured heavy but are tolerable. The young bartender has an amazing inviting personality. The last time we were there I asked for a Margarita with salt in the rim and I received it plain.
Everytime I've gone the kitchen was closed...so no comment on the food.

Was there on Friday 5/19 live music night. We arrived and we’re seated around 8pm. We waited almost 20 min for someone to come greet us and this was after I had to stand up and ask for service. Meanwhile the bartender girl behind the bar was talking to another employee for almost 45 min laughing and giggling. I am assuming the one employee was off the clock since she had her purse on. It is now almost 9PM and still no music and no food. The server also stated they only had 1 drink menu for all of us to share so that took a while too. I was so embarrassed, I chose to take my new Boss here and he was visiting from out of town. Finally got my strawberry chicken salad and of course it had no dressing. We ordered a few appetizers and were given no utensils. So again I had to stand up and ask for service again. This bar is extremely gone down on service and I will never return again. And yes, many people warned me that the food was not very good. 100% true. We soon left and went to the new bar down the street Harrington House and wow the service and food was night and day. Never again going to Wikkis. I should’ve never taken my Boss there. Huge mistake!

The dinner was good and got in quickly. I did not like the garlic cheese bread at all, as it had a cheese I didn't like and it was baked into it, but that's probably just me.

The wait staff was great and the the place is nice but my food was not good. I got the Greek omelet with potatoes which arrived cold and dry. My daughters plate was also cold. It was the day before mothers day so perhaps they were understaffed but I still don't think I will return

My husband & I went Thursday 4/20 at 9 pm. After 20 minutes we had to find someone on their wait staff to take our drink order. We asked the waiter if we could order appetizers, we were told the kitchen was closed. The restaurant stays open till 10? The gentleman who also set us, didn’t tell us the kitchen was closed. We hadn’t been there after our last experience for brunch on a Sunday, poor service and our food took for ever! We definitely will not go back! I would never recommend your restaurant, I would give you a minus zero!

So many things are sub par. The server warned us that other parrons had complained about the chicken strips being too crispy...interesting that they continued to serve the virtually burnt food to us and obvious they don't cook to order. The chicken Michael was tough...you shouldn't need a steak knife to cut a chicken breast. The risotto that came with it was just ok. The chicken parmesan arrived warm but the fettuccine was cold and the marinara was dried out like it had been sitting too long on the plate not in a pot on the stove. Unfortunate they just have too much on the menu and don't do any of it very well. The best thing we got was the fried green beans. The Irish nachos were pretty good but the chicken should be shredded or cut in smaller pieces instead of long strips that don't fit on a chip.

Great meal. Loved the steak with blue cheese sauce. Very tender and cooked perfectly. The brussel sprouts were also excellent. Nice selection of wine and beer. Live music was nice, not too loud. Would return.

It’s a great to grab a drink and daily special. I love the pasta primavera with artichoke hearts and tomatoes. The staff is wonderful and Wiki’s has a very inviting atmosphere any day of the week.

Expected better. This is a “medium well”hamburger served to me. 🤮💩It was the worst dry, rubbery, plain hamburger I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Not worth 20 bucks. Didn’t receive my wine until 15 minutes after seated. Appetizers 30 min. Dinner took 45 minutes. And we couldn’t get out of there fast enough!🏃🏼‍♀️💨Got there at 6 p.m. wikis literally turned from dining into a club at 7:15p.m. Couldn’t hear 🙉🤦🏼‍♀️or have an enjoyable experience in the dinning area after music was turned up at the bar and people began crowding in. For the two of us we Spent $70.00 on two-overdone hamburgers, okay nachos, and a glass of $12 house wine. Never going back again.

Attended for new years and had the worst experience here. This was not my first time here btw. First all the music was horrendous and ordered a few green-tea cocktails. The cocktails were horrible and tasted awful. I know this because the green-tea cocktail is the only drink i get. They refused to take them back and remake and a respectful request. This place has definitely lost me as a patron.

Never again..I have made a reservation for a table of nine, three days prior to our meeting.
When we got there ( some of us drove an hour to be with us) they told us that our reservation was canceled because of private party..they didn't even bother to contact me ahead of time to let me know of this cancelation.

This post gets 3 stars for the 2 times I've had it delivered to my house, it was good. My family went there today and it went about as bad as It could. Waited 45 minutes to get a seat, got seated was told there would be a hour wait for the food ( they were nice enough to tell us in advance) half hour later when we finally got to order they informed us that they were out of almost half of the menu and would come back and tell is what they had in a minute. I understand stuff happens but please let people know when you tell them there will be an hour wait for the food. So we were there at our table for about an hour before we just paid the check for our drinks and left without a wait person even taking our order. I will try again and update at some point only because we have loved the food we have gotten delivered from them. Update: went again and the waitress was great but just get it delivered. There is no reason to go in there unless for happy hour or something. Bar vibe for fine dining prices. The food is good but its honestly better delivered

Food, service and Atmosphere was fantastic, we enjoyed our visit. Server really tried to make our visit special.

I would recommend wikis for socializing and they have a great brunch menu and live music at dinner

My wife and I dined in Saturday evening, 10/15/22. We have patronized Wikis many times; however, this evening the food was subpar. The food taste like leftovers. Definitely not fresh. We ordered the salmon and Adam’s Chicken. The chicken and salmon were both dry. Likely microwaved at some point. The portions small. We’ve had the salmon many times before. Inflation has affected their bottom line I’m guessing. On a bright point, the service was wonderful. In the future I’ll send the food back.

If you expect to have a conversation with your dinner guest, do not go there, way too loud. It took about 10 minutes to be seated, when there were plenty of empty tables and no other guests was waiting! There were also different flying insects circling over my table as well. Food, on the other hand was good.

Best steak in Kern county! Their mixed drinks are very tasty 😋 and the band that plays music on Friday nights 🌃 is Amazing! 🤩

While I did enjoy the ambience and enthusiastic employees, I was disappointed with my main meal because I ordered chicken piccata ( comes with wikis special rice aka risotto). I swear I got less than half of a single chicken breast and a full cup of risotto with four pieces of asparagus. I understand that prices have gone up but that meal was not worth $20

The lunch crowd was space likely due to economic times. The service was great, but the list of soups was a disappointing selection. (No clam chowder on Friday, No standard tomato bisque). Come on management get it together. Food quality high, and portions are plenty to high amount. Cleanliness is average. It has a large party area off the main dining room, and has an outdoor dining which is nice.

I want to thank Ashley and the staff for a great night we had at the resturant last night. I called ahead to organize an outing for a church group. Ashley was on top of everything, she worked with me to make sure we have everything we need, she is very helpful, knowledgeable and made great recommendations. The food was great and service was amazing. We had a blessed night and we will definitely be coming back again and plan more big group outings in the near future. God bless.

Ordered the flat iron steak w/ lobster. The steak was good vegetables were cooked perfectly. The lobster on the other hand was far from good. The smallest tail ive ever had, the meat was still incased in the tail with no utensils to get the meat out. Soggy and didnt have good flavor. And the butter tasted like they pulled an old stick out of the fridge and just melted it, The butter tasted like the refrigerator

I usually love Wiki’s but today overall was a really disappointing experience. Part of it may not be their fault, but I ordered from them because I’m 5 minutes away and figured it would be fresh. I used Uber eats and the driver had one stop before me but for some reason sat around for 5 minutes. My hot food was cold when it got here and my crispy brussel sprouts were not crispy. My chopped salad was missing the artichokes, ham and there was the equivalent of about two small slices of deli turkey in my salad and I’m being generous. I had to reheat the cold pizza in the air fryer for my mom and put my brussel sprouts in there, too, which improved things. So very disappointing.

Wiki's has one of the most diverse menus in Bakersfield. Don't let the "wine" part of the name scare you away. They are an excellent place to enjoy a good wine, but even non-wine people will enjoy the full bar and food selections.

The waitress was fine until she served a table of people that didn’t look like me. Then she had a bad attitude. The table behind me decided to have a conversation about everything black they didn’t agree with. I normally wouldn’t blame the restaurant for a customers actions. But this was the second time this happened and the waitress appears to be a part of that culture

I went here for formal dinner, they have a wide selection of food, a bar, and a secluded room for conferences, formal dining, etc. Their staff is very friendly, thank you for such a great experience!

We had a large group on a Saturday night and the place was packed. Our waitress was fantastic!! And the food was delicious. It was my first time dining there and not only was my steak cooked perfectly medium rare, I also loved the garlic bread they serve before dinner. Yum! And and the dinner salad was delish. Gosh I'm getting hungry just writing this review. I look forward to going back soon.

I spent a week here networking and getting to know people. It was perfect! The food is great, so far, have tried a little bit of everything and really, well made. Some of these dishes are unique and have great flavor. Service is top notch and honestly no complaints. It’s is my new home spot<3
