Excellent pizza and service!everyone on the team was very helpful. Explaining the best of the menu and making recommendations. We started with the garlic bombs. Those are huge balls of cheese with butter and garlic and crispy breading. They are not mozzarella sticks. They also had those these were different, better. We also ordered thin crust on the carbonara & Ricky Tony. Both fantastic although the artichoke was a little heavy so if you're not a fan, ask to have it removed. But if you like it, you're gonna love this pizza. Bar service was great too. Highly recommend. We will definitely return.

I am was honored to be able to attend this fabulous Yelp event. I had never heard of Bakersfield Pizza and Co.
The owner, Alejandro Ocampo, was very welcoming, and his staff was beyond friendly!!!
The atmosphere was laid back and inviting.
The fries that were served were BOMB, especially dipped in ranch. The salad served was fresh, crisp, and delicious! And for the rest of the food served, the pictures speak for themselves!

First time trying out their pizza. It was honestly 1 of the best pizza's I've had. We ordered a bunch of appetizers as well, the garlic bombs and tater tots were my favorite. The decor is also really cool, it looks like an old saloon kinda, bar had lots of beer to choose from. Definitely glad we finally tried this place, will definitely be back again soon.

Came back for the lunch special, got a big slice of pepperoni and sausage and it was scrumptious. Came with a side of fries, and they were delicious. Grabbed a half order of onion rings, garlic bombs and mozzarella sticks too, the garlic bombs are out of this world G O O D. Can't wait to come back again for more deliciousness.

Since opening, Bakersfield Pizza Co has been a consistent spot for great pizza, drinks, and even better service. If vegan is your thing, this is one of the best places in town! Very accommodating! If vegan isn’t your thing, this is some seriously awesome pizza!!

Friend had his bday here Friday 8-4-23. Our party took like half the main dining room. They gladly helped move two tables for our party. Zach, our server was excellent. Attentive and courteous. Food was excellent. Desserts were sinfully good. Menu was awesome, gotta try the other items. Glad I finally tried this place, hard to find a good pizza place in town besides Rusty’s.

Man service has gone downhill. Things we didnt order kept coming to our table. They charge $12 for a tall michelob which is a non import lol. We wont be back any time soon. Pizza was still good though

Waitress/ Cashier was very nice, very helpful. Crust is a good balance of crispy and soft. Sauce has really good flavor & they don't skimp on the cheese. Their sausage for the pizza is really good, great flavor & perfect size. Atmosphere was good. A good place to have an adult party. They serve alcoholic beverages. Plenty of seating.

Seems like a great place for locals to sit and have a beer and some pizza or appetizers. We are just driving through on our road trip. If there was a next time, I'd try a pan pizza but if you like thin pizza crust you'd like this spot. Yummy Churro Pie with vanilla ice cream (mine is on the side as I took it to go, to eat in the car on the highway) :) It reminds me of a 'cereal' based crust (it's crunchy Churro bits as the pie crust) with ice cream and whipped cream on top. I like that they have done something different with churros. Nice. :) Next time I'd try their wicked looking multiple layer chocolate cake slice.

So first time back after 8 yrs. I was so excited. Tell me why they forgot our pizza. After 25min of waiting with little to no people inside the dining area. Keep in mind the manager Cynthia took my order. She never thought once to check on our food. She was too busy cleaning. All she said was sorry the cooks didn’t get the ticket for your pizza. Bad customer service. She should have just checked to see the status of our food way before I had to even ask. This is probably the reason why I took us this long to come back and now this. SMH

I stopped here on my way to northern ca because my daughter wanted to go to a store a few doors down. I was hungry and pizza sounded so good… until I saw their vegan menu😂I’m vegetarian, but sometimes sensitive to dairy so that menu very much excited me. My daughter got an order of chicken wings and I got the cauliflower “wings”. I was a little nervouse because cauliflower wings can be very hit or miss AND I chose the mango habanero sauce which at some places it’s WAY too hot… well these were the BEST cauliflower wings I’ve ever had, hands down and the mango habanero was hot but not unbearable, it was literally perfect. And then they offered me vegan ranch for dip which I gladly accepted happy to know I wasn’t going to leave with a dairy stomach ache lol. My daughter loves that store a few doors down so we made a deal that any time we drive to northern ca we will stop at that store and then stop here for the wings. (Side note- it was very clean and staff was friendly too, it felt very home-y)🙏🏼

Order delivery and pizza showd up cold and not even room temperature. Crust was cold and hard had to warm it up in the microwave. First time ordering and will definitely never order again. Very disappointed.

You know when you are really looking forward to something great and it turns out to be garbo. Thats waht this was like. I remember this place being much better. Ordered two pizzas, one Bangkok boom, both super doughy and under cooked messed up crust. The bangkok was not spicy at all. Both pizzas didnt look anything like what they should. WHY??

Had a bad experience I placed my order then I see everyone that came after me getting their food and I still hadn’t gotten my pizza . 30 minutes pass I ask how long for my pizza and I was told they never put the order in for it, But how I get my fried pickles if they didn’t put my order in? told me it will be 10 min a hr passed and nothing. So I got a refund for the pizza and left. They did apologize for the inconvenience.

I have been frequenting Bakersfield Pizza Co for years, but today I had a disappointing experience. Despite my son's allergies, which we always accommodate by bringing our own food, we were told that outside food was not allowed. It seems that this rule only applies to those who don't spend a significant amount of money. We won't be returning.

Have been following on instagram and thought I’d give them a try. Ordered the thin crust pepperoni and sausage pizza, mango habanero and Buffalo wings and potato wedges. Wings and wedges were really delicious and not too spicy. Pizza was great too but next time I will try their thicker crust pizza. Place has a nice vibe with a nice bar with a great assortment of beer and drinks. Nice place to hang out with family or friends to watch the game. Nice choice of music too. Would definitely give them a try

Sometimes, you just feel like a pizza. If you get that same feeling, this is the place to go. You order at the bar, just under the menu. They give you a number and bring your food to you. I had one of their speciality pizzas. It was fabulous. I did it thin crust because I was alone. The ingredients were fresh and plentiful. It took about 40 mins, but it was worth the wait. The cheese on this thing was outstanding. The crust perfect. Great flavors and so filling. They had a bunch of stuff on the menu. The wings seemed to be a hit too. Next time I'm in town, I'm coming back.

Pizza is absolutely delicious. Bar like ambiance. Staff is super friendly and quick. There was a young staff member serving and bussing and taking care of the majority of the tables there we were really impressed with how well he did and how often he checked in.

Return Policy on Take-Out Orders-
Customers please be aware that Bakersfield Pizza Co. & Bar force you to return their food if they made an error on your order. Once I got home, I noticed my order was incorrect after I took a couple of bites of my pizza. I called and was told to send pictures. After I spent 10 minutes taking pictures of my food, I was told if I wanted either an exchange or refund, I would need to return my order. 1 hour later, I returned my food and the slice that I bitten off. Now my $49 dinner turn into a $60 dinner because of the gas milage, sending pictures, travel time, and the stress of advocating for myself with the manager. This is one of my few go-to places to work and hang out. The service is prompt and personalized, they always remember me and are genuinely interested in making sure I am happy and enjoying my experience. When I come here to work after a long day, I can guarantee that the reception I receive from the staff will cheer me up. Tony’s old fashioneds and tailored recommendations are unrivaled and Cynthia’s warm welcome and attentiveness is exceptional. I’ve brought numerous friends to BPC and they have all left happy and impressed, with careful questions asked to make sure that their food/drinks order is exactly what they want.

Got the cheesesteak sandwich and pizza with pepperoni n mushrooms. Delicious fresh salad and nice toasty, cheesy sandwich. Pizza had a solid flavor and crisp crust. A solid choice of bourbon and specials with whiskey. Had the twerking bourbon, very yummy. Tasted like a sour with a twist. My wife ordered a dry vodka martini. She got a dirty martini. Mentioned it to Latino bartender and he said yea I gave her a dirty dry martini. I explained it’s dirty or dry. Dry doesn’t have olive juice, he didn’t know the difference. I ordered two more drinks. Food arrived and about 20 min later he came and asked what we had again. Felt like he “forget” on purpose as he didn’t appreciate my feedback. $16 for a martini they got wrong. Ruined the visit. We’ll give another chance but stick to the specials, also don’t ask him the specials cuz he doesn’t know them.

My wife and I recently discovered this place. So far we have been here 3 times and have gotten something different each time. Everything we have had is unbelievably great! The owner is a really nice guy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It does get very busy at times and sometimes it takes a little while to get your food, but no an unreasonable amount of time considering how busy they get. In my opinion they are setting the benchmark for other pizza places. Best pizza place we have found yet.

My experience at Bakersfield Pizza Company was incredibly disappointing. I ordered a large pepperoni pizza, wings, and garlic cheese rolls. While the garlic cheese rolls and wings arrived promptly within 15 minutes, I waited for an hour and a half and still didn't receive the pizza. Despite my complaints to multiple workers, I was repeatedly told it would be ready in "five more minutes" or that they were "working on it". To make matters worse, I noticed that customers who ordered after me were receiving their orders before mine. It was only when I insisted on a refund for the pizza that they finally brought it out. As a gesture of apology for the long wait, they offered me "a free slice of dessert", which felt inadequate. Overall, I left feeling very disappointed. I opted for a refund for the pizza, which they likely threw away.

Ordered aspicy meat ball sandwich was supposed to come with cheese ..No cheese no jalapenos just lots of sauce and on a chibata bun .low grade .Pizza was good not great ..salad was brown and wilted the sampler was ok ..won't be ordering here again ..

It's a nice place right next to home depo. Ordered a 80 oz tower of beer $30 but a glass of beer is $12 so it was a bargan. Appetizers were served hot, and the marinara sauce had no taste. Kinda expensive, but everything is expensive.
I had a good time. I will be back.

While I was waiting for my food to take out, other people came after me and ordered for take out too and they got their food before us, meanwhile we were waiting for 25-30 minutes and didnt even order much for it to take this long. the people after us were white, and we are hispanics, I dont want to suppose this is racially motivated but its what it seems like.

Food took awhile (granted they were busy but I pre ordered the rosca pizza special so wasn’t expecting it) but it was BOMB. Best ranch I’ve had at a pizza place, too. We also got the cheesy garlic bread with marinara and everyone was fighting over those. The dough is unlike any in town - so flavorful and good. I’ll be back to try more things on the menu!

Do NOT order delivery. I ordered twice. The 2nd time took 2 hours, my pizza showed up cold. Both were cold.I called to speak to the manager, she blamed Uber. She clearly doesn't understand the company's reputation. I ordered a pizza from bakersfeild pizza company. I didn't call Uber. They have a huge delivery issue. And the Manager had an attitude. Relax. I'm trying to tell you, you have an issue and you need to Fix it. Until you do, I'm not ordering from you.

This is our second time there. The first time, the food was outstanding. This time, pizza was cold. We had a full-size sampler and left a lot to desire. What was worth it was the cheesecake and the smocked old-fashioned.

Sorry I don’t have a review of this restaurant because I was unable to order. I had heard that this was the best pizza in Bakersfield and that I could order it from Uber eats. Tried to order but everytime the app said unavailable. Maybe try getting DoorDash because I have never had trouble ordering food from them before

This place is 5 star if you dine-in but only 2 if you order delivery because they ALWAYS forget something or mess something up! They put peppers in my sandwich when I asked for no peppers AND they forgot my pizza! I only ordered 1 pizza and they totally forgot it. This isn't the first time this has happened with a delivery from here either. If you're gonna get Bakersfield Pizza Co. then you have to ear there! DO. NOT. GET. DELIVERY! THEY WILL DEFINITELY FORGEY SOMETHING OR MESS SOMETHING UP!

Rather than anyone reach out to me, they went back 7 years ago to find my review that was positive (as I stated in my review, we have eaten here several times in the past and it had always been good) and attached it onto my review. As you can see, if you scroll through their horrible reviews; this is what they do. They keep track of who left reviews, and if a negative review comes in, and ultimately inevitably the negative review will be coming in; they attach that person's previous reviews! I'm not sure what they think that will accomplish other than thinking that doing so is going to counter the negative review!?!?
This place has obviously steadily gone downhill. It was good 7 years ago and is absolutely horribly disgusting now in all the key areas: food quality, service and overall management. That's what you "proved"!!!!!

We placed an order through Uber eats on Friday, October 27, 2023. Our order was well over $100. It took over an hour before the food was even done for the Uber eats driver to deliver. All the food was ice cold. The pepperoni pizza was half cooked and the three topping pizza was raw and we had to bake in our own oven. We private messaged them on Facebook as soon as the food was delivered. No one has replied. Then we commented on a post they shared on Facebook notify them that we private message them. Still no response.
We have eaten here in person several times and it's always been very good. My husband is a combat injured former US Marine veteran. We love giving small businesses who appreciate our military our business. We are also supporters of our second amendment rights. We are also actively involved in Bakersfield's car community. Sadly, I doubt we ever eat here again.

With family and grandkids. Pizza was not so good and prepared poorly. Toppings were scant and the sausage wasn’t even the size of an M&M.

Ordered a salad and was brought a very small 2oz container of ranch and told I would be charged for second ranch.

Purchased hot wings (12) for $17.00. And they were average.

Staff was good but product lacking and very expensive.

They have awesome vegan options! The food came out quickly. The staff came by multiple times to check on the table. The wedges were crispy. The pizza had the right sauce to cheese ratio. The atmosphere is as good as it can be for the location. Overall I love this place and it is definitely one of my top 5 restaurants to visit here in Bako.

It can get quite busy and loud sometimes which is really not a complaint so much as a compliment, the pizza is amazing, I never thought mustard and pickles on a pizza could be good till I had the Cubano, the selection of beer and soda is also top notch, and the place has a real old school saloon cowboy vibe that I adore

I got a thin crust margherita pizza. I didn't finish it because it was terrible. Bad cheese, bad sauce, bad crust, coated in flavorless basil.

I ordered garlic bombs, but they gave me tater tots instead. Apparently a small bowl of just tots and nothing else is normal? Terrible. They told me too bad about the mix up.

Beer is expensive, drinks are expensive. Not worth the visit.

For two people:
Large margherita + tots + beer + drink = 65$

I wish i could rate this place higher. It is one of the few places in town with vegan pizza options for my kids and wife. Bakersfield Pizza Co. has gotten something wrong with my order at least 5 times out of the 7 or so i have ordered from them. There is a severe lack of quality assurance. Good food... nice place... but you never know what you are going to get.

Extremely sad experience. Mold growing in the cocktail menu, all surfaces wet and sticky, overpriced watered down drinks, served the wrong order despite repeating it many times, pizza no better than frozen supermarket fare.

Drool, I mean, wow! What a great pizza joint- The food is awesome, the balance of flavors with just the right everything was so delicious. - It is quite loud when busy during a sports game, and the young wait staff are your typical uniformed and rude you seem to find all over Bakersfield anymore, minus one star for that. - Manager/Chef? knows his stuff.

My husband and I have been coming here since they opened. We have never experienced the service we did today. This was is our usual spot weekly.
Today was the worst service we have received here. Communication and customer service really let us down. The one female waiter was the only reason I’m leaving this. We were patient and understanding, but after making my son wait 15 minutes for his food to come out after they served my food. When they finally brought my husband food 30 minutes later, the waitress threw the the platter of wings and didn’t say a word and gave us a dirty look. It wasn’t the wait it was the lack of communication and the rudeness of the waitress. Very disappointing.

I went to four pizza parlors in Bakersfield regarding an order for 27 pizzas. They were the only ones who could deliver. We had like 70 people and everyone loved the pizzas. All pizzas were hot and fresh. Out of all the vendors I had to deal with for my wedding they were easily one of the best. Zero hassle, zero time wasted plus they gave us a very fair deal for the large order. The Manager and owner are on it. Their team is transforming the restaurant scene of Bakersfield with their exceptional food and service.

Random last minute pizza night. We are familiar with Bakersfield but wanted to google “best pizza in Bakersfield” to see what was voted. After reading reviews and viewing pictures we decided to try Bakersfield Pizza co. & bar. Did not disappoint and I ordered an extra small thin crust Bangkok Boom to-go. Marty the manager was very accommodating being our mix up for take out was actually for dine in. We look forward to coming back to try other specialty pizzas but the Bangkok Boom I don’t think I can ever not order. Clean, nice atmosphere, games playing, friendly guests and staff. All around I think we found our new favorite local pizza joint.

Excellent pizza, wings, and service! Loved our half Bangkok Boom, half Cubana, as well as our wings and garlic bombs. The waitress and manager were super friendly and our food came out very soon after we ordered it. We will definitely be coming back!

Pretty damn good Pizza! Ordered a meat lovers and one called "Firestarter" and both were excellent! Onion Rings & Mozarella sticks were also fried to perfection! Service was excellent as well, manager personally checked up on us to make sure we were satisfied!

First time here, was craving Chile Verde pizza. The kids had sausage and pepperoni. We ordered tater tots, wings, ceaser Salad as well. All in all, it was all good. The Chile Verde was great in flavor but not spicy. Soft drinks were at a great price. $2 a kid, $3 for an adult. Can't wait to go again. Mix of families with kids and friends.

If your looking for good pizza and beer. We found a genuine and amazing small pizza co. Driving from tx. My sister insisted on having us try their awesome pizza. My kids loved the combo pizza and the wedges. The wings were great! The ranch tasted amazing with the wing. We ordered multiple drinks. My husbands drinks tasted the best. We loved the bar tender. he was very attentive. All around great experience and highly recommend.

First time trying out their pizza. It was honestly 1 of the best pizza's I've had. We ordered a bunch of appetizers as well, the garlic bombs and tater tots were my favorite. The decor is also really cool, it looks like an old saloon kinda, bar had lots of beer to choose from. Definitely glad we finally tried this place, will definitely be back again soon.

Came back for the lunch special, got a big slice of pepperoni and sausage and it was scrumptious. Came with a side of fries, and they were delicious. Grabbed a half order of onion rings, garlic bombs and mozzarella sticks too, the garlic bombs are out of this world G O O D. Can't wait to come back again for more deliciousness.

Good pizzas and salads but theres a few things off about this place. The menu is cluttered, you have to look at multiple places to see how much you’re actually paying. I felt surprised when two small pizzas and a small salad was $50, as if there were hidden costs. For example, a small Margarita pizza starts at $13 on one part of the menu but then there’s a part about a $5 surcharge on another part resulting in an $18 small pizza that’s still pretty basic. Ended up canceling my original order then I found out about a secret kids sizes that weren’t in the menu, which I ended up getting.

There’s an odd lack of plates too, had to use the cheap styrofoam stuff.

Water cups are cheap styrofoam, they would charge if we wanted an actual glass or soda cup to drink it out of.

Forks and other silverware was cheap plastic.

In the end there’s an odd mismatch of cluttered menus, good pizza and salads, and cheap utensils and plates.

It was good but we probably won’t come here again due to the price point being too high.

We have gone here too many times since we came across it. The food is delicious! The service is quick and awesome. The prices are very reasonable and to top it off its Veteran and locally owned!
