Blaze Pizza

Let’s start with the positives – the food itself was great! The pizza was hot, fresh, and had a fantastic flavor. The crust was just right, and the ingredients they did use tasted high quality.

However, I couldn’t help but notice that they were very stingy with the toppings. For the price, I expected a bit more generosity. A few extra pepperoni or veggies would’ve made a big difference.

The biggest downside was the overall cleanliness of the place. The dining area felt neglected, with dirty tables and floors that clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a while. On top of that, there was a noticeable issue with homelessness around the area, which made the atmosphere feel a little uncomfortable.

I’d consider ordering takeout next time, but unless the cleanliness improves and they step up their topping game, I’m not sure I’ll be rushing back.

Great service we love to come here because they have such a great customer service and the provide great quality as well. Can not say that for Gosford store.

The many different ingredients that can be added to your selection helps you make your own pizza masterpiece.. This restaurant has a selection of meats, vegetables, and spices to help dress your selection..

There are also store signature dishes that take the thinking out of customized orders.. Traditional pizza styles along with new signature items are available.. The pizza orders seems to be made in a traditional brick oven style set-up.. All food I seen was made to order with fresh ingredients.. All pizza orders are made in a personalized size, giving each persons order a very unique experience..

Draft beer, juices, and sodas are among the beverages available here.. Cakes and cookies are another surprising feature on the menu..This pizza parlor is leading the way in modern pizza restaurant experiences..

Overall I was very happy with this establishment.. The experience was awesome from start to finish.. Staff were eager to help customers, along with suggesting different options for customization.. A smile and friendly attitude goes a long way.. The food I ordered was ready in a timely fashion.. The food itself was really good and you could taste the freshness.. I highly recommend stopping by your local location and trying for yourself..

Excellent pizza store! Pizza came out with great taste and its ingredients were really fresh. Plus, fast preparation and crispy thin pizza dough are very impressive! The best part is I can choose pizza toppings (like those sandwiches at Subway) including the amount of sea salt to be added. I would say I actually had an authentic NY pizza in high quality with those ingredients chosen by myself. Satisfied. Excellent service surely included! Thumbs up!

Other than the groups of craziness that surround the place, several times some guy in a dress with a wand came in with full meltdown on his agenda for the night. The staff handled it like pros with one guy telling me it happens all the time. The food was as good as restaurant pizza cooked in 180secs can be. It's not great, but for the price, it's really good, and you will not find much better at any price unless you do it yourself.

this place has quite a lot to choose from the toppings rather than just pepperoni or ham and the lady was pretty chill this place also has a nice cozy atmosphere akin to starbucks best part is that the pizzas aren't that greasy which makes you actually feel like you ate something healthy rather than a grease death trap honestly this place is better than little caesars and I'd rather take the long drive here than to my closest little caesars

Great experience. Great service. The staff were quick and efficient and had made me feel welcomed. The food tasted great and it’s a great spot for a fast and easy date. ❤️10/10 would come back to this location I’ve worked in the Blaze Pizza in CityWalk before so it was good to see that much hasn’t changed and they’re following the correct procedures. Good food safety👍🏽. Can’t wait to come back the next time I visit Bakersfield.

I preferred to get blaze pizza because I'm gluten intolerant and also lactose intolerant so their options are great health wise. Problem is the last few times I went the cheese and tops amount just made for a really sad pizza. The staff getting dough was friendly but the others doing toppings didn't have hospitality or friendliness. Idk if it's cause of work/stress vibes but makes me question if that caused the lack of quality.

I received bad service by an employee (marquis) on ming ave , pizza blaze. He had a really bad attitude and seemed like if he didn't want to be there,he wouldn't even give eye contact when we we're talking to him, he would just ignore me and i kept repeating and just kept his head down making mad or annoyed faces. He gave us bad service. What you call" bad experience "

Placed an order for delivery for asap and the food got here 12 mins sooner than expected was fresh and delicous!!! As a little joke I asked for my drizzle on the left half of the pizza(didn't really matter which half just didnt want it on the whole thing) and when I opened the box they had it positioned on exactly the left half!! Intentional or not i appreciate their attention to detail. That and my garlic cheese bread were delicious and will order again when I'm back in town!!

Girl with the fake lashes was rude and barely put any toppings on pizza. And I don’t think she fully grasps the concept of “build your own” style pizza. You would think that I’d be be able to go heavy on whatever toppings of my choosing but every time I asked her to please add more of a topping she was acting like the toppings were getting charged out of her account. The other staff recognized this and made up for her attitude and mistakes. Other staff was awesome especially the guy who seemed to be putting out all the fires she was starting up the whole time I was dining in.

I come to this Blaze frequently. The food is great. I believe it to be the best fast fired pizza in Bakersfield. The facility and bathrooms are always clean. The customer service is hit and miss. It's never horrible service, just not always great. Overall I love Blaze Pizza.

First Blaze Pizza experience that wasn't worth it. WENDY is honestly carrying the entire team, had it not been for her we would have just walked out. She was friendly talkative and just overall great customer experience. With that said the one that actually prepared our pizzas and also the one that gave us our pizzas had the worst attitudes. Absolutely zero need to be so cold and standoffish when one is being respectful and friendly asking for simple condiments.

1st time trying this place. Very friendly environment, and quick service. Nothing better than custom personal pizza. It was so good, that my kids sat down quietly and ate everything. Everything was very delicious!

Love this spot! They have a stone oven they cook the pizza from, they assemble the pizza in front of you, if you loke something different and want to get away from the repetitive pizza spot you go to all the time I highly recommend this spot.

The pizza was amazing. As always. The workers are ever so friendly no matter what location we go to. This particular location was the one by the mall. The ice machine was out but the blood orange lemonade, which is the reason why I come here in the first place, was cold even though the ice machine was out. I do need to comment that the tables were nasty. I understand that this is a very busy location and it's obvious when looking around that all the employees are busy accommodating the ceaseless line of people that come in to eat so it's understandable that they can't break after every single person leaves, but we did have to look around for a table that was clean. Due to that and the fact that the ice machine was out, we will probably choose the California avenue location next time.

I enjoy the Build Your Own pizza. The food is fresh and delicious. You can make it the way you want the bar to choose has some fantastic toppings and sauces after being cooked you can add sauces if you would like to. There are options for cauliflower and gluten free dough instead of regular dough also. Eat in or take it home. I love the food here.

It was late and we were so happy to find it open. The pizza was the real Italian type. We had no idea and it was perfectly delicious! Also they had the lights overhead turned off which was very pleasant. Really enjoyed it.

The pizza was good, but really greasy, The air conditioning was out, there were no umbrellas outside to shade the tables, the chairs outside were stacked together and chained up and they said they didn't have the key to unlock them, we stood up to eat outside because it was too hot to be inside.

I was greeted by a young lady who said she missed me coming in🤗 And the gentleman who I usually see baking was on the line and patiently explained why he couldn't put ALL the spinach my pizza could handle on at once😳😵... I will stop being impatient and ticky now that i know its a process.👍 Im not kidding id be like, "oh my god are you new? First time there, had no clue how it all works. Asked young girl and she didn't know how to explain it. While paying for the meat lovers pizza we were then told that we could add more toppings for free. But it was too late. Ordered a coke to drink but they were out of ice. Went to sit at one of only two booths that was in the sort of quiet area and had to share the booth with 3 of the outside umbrellas. Now the pizza. It was the worst I have had since eating pizza at the drive-in theater in the 70's. The trick to eating the pizza at the drive-in is that you open the box, throw the pizza out the window and eat the box!

Ordered a pizza online, google and the blaze pizza app says they close at 10pm, i walked in to get my order around 9:40pm and they didn’t make it because employee said they close at 9pm, yet i still got charged. Could’ve just said you guys didn’t want to make the pizza to get to go home right at 10.

NO CONSIDERATION FOR THOSE WHO DO NOT EAT FLESH. Workers kept dropping meat in non meat bins and cross contaminating gloves. Chipotle figured out how to prep their food without it being an issue, why can't other restaurants. Walked in, saw meat and dairy all over the advertised "vegan" options and left. Didn't figure it out after burger king and the beyond burger?

Very nice staff and the pizza was tasty. The topping size could be increased as they were a little skimpy. I know they are told how much to use so I did ask for more of some.

Food here is always fresh, delicious, and a excellent quality. Well worth it for the price. A build your own is $11 but you can put as much toppings as you want. And it takes about 90 secs to cook. They use a fire pizza oven. While you wait, you can watch the entire process. They have several different sauces. Over all well worth going to.

First time I had one of their pizzas I was up in San Francisco area for work. Originally from Chicago best pizza around. I was amazed really good pizza I like the spicy sauce. Fresh definitely worth stopping in for. No picture I ate the whole thing should have took one good pizza
