Me n ed's Pizzeria

The food was ookay. Just okay. No worse, no better. I had ME n Eds recently but the one by Gosford and it was freaking delicious 🤤
My fiancée and I wanted it again and there was one close to our house but it definitely didn’t taste like we remembered. We ordered for pickup and I sent my son in since they closed at 8 and we were going to be there right at 8. The woman told my son that she’d only let him use my card this one time because it had to be me that was paying so that was super cool. This location is hidden on the side of the vons parking lot so you definitely need to look kinda hard. It’s a real nice area.

It’s an ok basic no frills pie. Dough is kind of airy and flaky, almost like a cracker. Wish it was a bit denser and had flavor. The dough wasn’t bad it was just lacking. It’s like it was just there to hold the sauce and topping. Sauce was almost the same way. Pizza has potential just needs a little TLC. The best part was the price. 12$ for a lg pepperoni isn’t bad, even if the pizza is pretty basic. 100x better than little chasers.

First off we spent over $50.00 in this place and the food was below average. The salad was wilted, they forgot to add the cheese and dressing to the salad. We ordered one gluten free pizza and they brought out the wrong pizza that could have made one of us violently ill. The hot wings were the only thing done correctly. This is a very bad thing when the store owner is in the kitchen while a lot of orders are continually being messed up and the lackluster participation of the owner interacting with the customers in the pizzeria. The ONLY bright spot of this visit was the young lady who attempted to correct the incompetence of the young man taking orders, who in my opinion looks like he needs to stop smoking weed before work. Danielle is the young lady who came to our table and tried to resolve the multiple mistakes and lack of concern from the manager on duty. We will not be coming back to this pizza place. For the money spent, this is not a great value at all. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. We work hard for our money and expect to be at the very least satisfied with our experience. We did not today here at Me and Eds

I'm a Fresno CA native but live outta state..Every time I come home I stop here n get me some me n eds pizza!!They don't have it in our state and I miss it so much so I always buy it here on the way out and it's very good the service is always great the people here are fabulous it's all around great experience thank you guys so much!!!

Ordered a large pepperoni for delivery. The wait time was average on the delivery time scale compared to other pizza parlors of similar prestige.

The price for a large one topping was also fairly average but was better so because even with delivery the order was under $30.

The pizza itself was not nowhere near what we would expect from a pizza parlor as recognizable as Me n Ed’s. It tasted of cheap cheese and for some reason very strong of fish oil. The mozzarella cheese they used was yellowish and not at all what one would expect.

Overall for the first time trying this place I can sadly say that we will not be returning customers.

Overall I’d recommend 7-Eleven pizza over this pizza place because taste is extremely similar but the price is more agreeable at 7-eleven. Or if you want good taste and are on a budget stick to little Cesar’s or the frozen take home pizzas.

I will never order here again. This typically was the spot to order when I had family visiting. They delivered the 4 large pizzas I ordered to the wrong house and these pizzas didn’t get to me until after 3 different neighbors passed the pizza around. One neighbor brought the pizza over to my house. Shouldn’t they have called the number provided if they were unsure of the address? When I called the pizza parlor all the “manager” had to say was well that’s where it was delivered. I know I provided the correct address I repeated 3 times and had family as a witness to that. The so called manager was nonshalant and didn’t care. I’m a DM and this is not customer service. Poor service and very rude.

As I read the negative comments I have to wonder. Every Me n Eds pizza from all locations typically cook the same pizza and they always taste the same. I have always had great service at this location. I think California locals grew up on the pizza and therefore nothing compares. I hate every pizza we try if its not Me n Eds. We live in a area that does not have me n Eds and now when I pass through I have to pick up a few pizzas put them in ziplocks and into a ice chest to transport them to Utah. Me n Eds needs to broaden their franchises to Nevada Utah Arizona etc.

Whether dining in or taking out this place is absolutely amazing. The staff treats you as if you are their own family with a smile on their face and their attention to detail. They make you feel welcome, carry on with a conversation and make you feel at home. Their facility is immaculate! Very clean and their restrooms are the same way. Me N Eds is a fantastic place to go for some good pizza. They always use fresh ingredients and you can never go wrong with brick oven pizza. The owner and workers are always respectful and treat customers like family. I personally prefer the thin crust, but most of the family likes the regular crust.

I havent specifically eaten at this location but the look of it from outside is very inviting, theres a nice team room for decent sized gatherings, old school meets new school honestly, quality pizza, place to gather amongst friends, pitchers of beer, kind of like the good ol days, except of course everyone over the age 10 has a phone lmao

So disappointed! I guess there is new owners had a issue with my pizza ,it was the wrong order I believe it might have been the manager that I spoke to ,I explained I had ordered on line he then proceeded to tell me that I was wrong, in which i showed him a screen shot of my order, poor customer service, Ive been going there for a long time never had a issue before but I will not be going back EVER it is just not the same .. FYI check your order before leaving

This place used to be the best in town. But sadly now the quality has gone so horribly down. To the point that my family and I avoid it at all cost. And sadly people only flock there due to nostalgic feelings they get from how it used to be. The service is great but that in no way makes up for the fact that the food quality has sunk below subpar. My wife is from LA and this was one a spot I wanted her to try. And that was beyond a major bust. The sauce despite coming out the oven is lackluster and lost the rich taste it once had. The dough has become soft and and chewy like its consistently under cooked. And the crust is dry and like a brick which is weird considering how under cooked the dough is. The mojos are dry and nowhere near the soft an gooey center they are known for. And the salads...my wife is a salad super fan and she couldnt get passed her first bite.

I was in town visiting my family, so I m not from Bakersfield. Most of the employees were not wearing masks. Almost every customer that came in to pick up food was not wearing a mask (no employee asked politely if they could put one on) and their was little to no social distancing. Obviously people who are eating there weren t wearing masks, but many of them were finished and sitting there for 30 mins or more just talking without masks on. I noticed most places I went in Bakersfield, most people had little to no regard for health safety. Very disappointing.

We have been big fans of Me N Eds for at least 15 to 20 years. But in the last 3 to 4 months the Coffee Road location has gone downhill. Tonight we ordered for the 3rd time in the last 90 days, trying to give them the benefit of the doubt...unfortunately, it will be our last. The quality, customer service and delivery have all become totally unacceptable. Calls to the manager have gotten us nowhere. Really going to miss the quality service and great food we had known in the past.

On 4/20/2021 7:30 pm hectors driver made a mistake and delivered my order to a different address. 2 large pizzas and an order of wedges. A 60$ order failed to arrive after an hour and a half i decided to check in. Hector basically tried to call me a liar saying his driver delivered to my place i said its clearly a mistake and asked for a refund. Then he told me itd be 3/5 business days before my refund. And kept saying that his driver delivered it to me. Dude how hard is it to realize your guy made a mistake. Quit BS ing me and just refund me so i can find a new place for dinner

One of the best places to get pizza, I order here often. I love the diced pepperoni, I think its better than regular pepperoni. Each bite has the right amount of pepperoni. The gluten-free dough is served here, and also recommended. So far no complaints here, I recommend to try it out.

Tried, this Me n Eds Pizza yesterday and theyre Rocking. Large staff, organized and really moving on the pick up and delivery. I waited 20 min.and had a slice in the car. ( I couldnt wait) it didnt disappoint me and was delicious. Good Pizza at a good price.

The one on coffee road is the worst. I was on hold for almost 20 minutes. They took me off hold and immediately put me back on hold 6 times. I always order double sausage and rarely get it. I have had it with me and Ed s. This is the last time. I will be going to oizzaville. They have better pizza anyway. Bye!

Ordered Pizza Friday for 5:15pm pickup. (Second time in a week). The staff are amazing. So friendly and helpful. Emwhat we didnt know is they were slammed with a 49 pizza order from Village Fest. They were so super nice, right on time. The pizza is off the hook. Fresh and lots of toppings. It is our go to place. Oh yeah...wings are amazing!

The restaurant was filthy, dirty tables, food on chairs, napkin holders dirty etc. Service was horrible didnt bring out plates didnt bring forks for salad and overcharged for two orders of wings never going back

Well lets see, I walked in & there was no customers. It was around 3:30 so that didnt bother me. There also was no employees up front. I could see & hear them in the back talking. I waited & looked at the menu at the register for a few minutes, then since no one came up front I left. Will never go there again. I had to give at least 1 star to get out of this site. They really dont deserve it.

Im not from this area, but work puts me here 10 nights a month. I tried the pizza here for the first time today. Ill never get pizza anywhere else when Im in Bakersfield. Absolutely delicious! Tons of toppings. If you havent been here before, its definitely worth a try.

The pizza here use to be the best. I ordered a pizza with extra cheese and it still had little chease and the cheese was hard on the pizza like it was over cooked. I told the lady when I orderd the pizza that I my last pizza was bad and that I was giving them 1 more chance.

Mindy has always been great service, the way she leads the staff shows that she is a great leader. I drive 3 miles farther than the Rustys , or Mountian Mikes closer to my house because the service is great and the pizza is so good.

Great selections on toppings. Great, friendly service. The pizza is okay. Id go back again because of the selection of toppings offered. The sauce didnt satisfy me and the crust was crunchy like I like it, but on the other hand, it wasnt as done as I like it. It was a little undercooked in between the crispness. The parking at the establishment I visited isnt desirable. Im glad I didnt ask for extra pineapple on my pizza, because they put the exact right amount on it! Wish I would have asked for extra jalapeno though. I ordered online and picked it up myself, and they didnt ask if I wanted crushed peppers or Parmesan, so I came home without either.
