Round Table Pizza

Tried multiple times and multiple days to make an online order and their system says "not taking online orders at this time"
This is very lazy on their part to not have the system up and running like the other Round Table Pizza out north.

We don't believe it to by a system error but rather lazy management/IT/dept. not dealing with an important issue that inconveniences the customers.

First time coming to this round table pizza location and I gotta say the pizza was delicious just like the locations in L.A., the only difference is that this location was completely empty (no waiting in line) and got our order taken immediately👍.

There are also a few games you can play while you wait for your pizza.

Went there during lunch time and it was completely empty. So it didn't take very long for the food to come out. Ordered a personal pepperoni pizza and some mild Buffalo wings. Expect the wings to be much hotter than you'd think (great flavor though) . All was pretty good though for a quick lunch break. Staff was nice.

I will start by stating that the prices are a little higher than other pizza places. However, you can definitely taste the difference and quality. I'm a fatty who loves pizza, and this place makes FRESH DOUGH, and the toppings are so freaking delicious and fresh. Again, you're looking to drop about $40 for an extra large specialty pizza, but it is worth the price! I guarantee that if you put their pizza next to any of the local pizza chains, 10 out of 10 would pick Round Table.

I give this Round Table 5 stars and here's why; The staff is friendly and knowledgeable they answered all my questions and they helped me get exactly what I wanted and helped me save $8.79 off my order! The food was served to me fresh,hot, fully cooked, and extremely delicious! The service was great my order was done with accuracy and in a timely manner! I will be recommending Round Table to everyone and will be a returning customer!

Pretty good for a pizza joint. The food is good, especially the cheesy, garlic rolls. It's a nice family atmosphere where the kids are able to play in the arcade section while still being in line of sight from just about anywhere in the restaurant. My only complaint is the bathroom, which needs some updating (the larger stall has a hole in the door from where a previous lock was removed). Not bad overall, just use the restroom before heading here.

I used to work at Round Table when they introduced the original Garlic Chicken Pizza in the early 1990s. Probably the best pizza there is, especially on a thin crust with cold tomatoes. This review is based on my recent experience, more specifically a large Garlic Chicken Pizza and 12 Parmesan Chicken Wings. I ordered my pizza with extra parmesan, but apparenly they forgot to add the parmesan, so it was added after the pizza was cooked. To make things more interesting, I ended up with extra parmesan as they store was apparently trying to make up for this forgot item. Basically, I ended with a layer of cold parmesan on top of my pizza, which made the pizza inedible. Chicken wings were mediocre at best, and my free order of potatoe wedges did not arrive, despite the fact that I was told it was included with my food. At $54, this order was a mistake and I do not want to try this ever again. Clearly, as a chain restaurant this place has a lot to learn. Never again.

I have always loved this restaurant but wasnt so impressed this time. The woman who gave me the pizza, who though she was speaking in English, I could hardly understand one word she said, though I could make out that she was chewing me out for being just a little late in picking up the pizza. She was making it about herself. Id ordered the Guenivere, and it was really salty, with way too many olives on it. I am hoping next time will be as good as it has been before that day.

I attend a club meeting there monthly and, every time, there is an issue with our order. The ownership recently changed & with it the choice of beverages (very few alcoholic options & they replaced name-brand fountain drinks with generic), desserts (no more cookies), & the service went downhill. The last time I visited, their internet was down, so they could only accept cash. They were short-staffed, the line was out the door, & it took AN HOUR to receive the order!!! I had requested that they add chicken to the pizza - they charged for the chicken, but did not add it! We were in the middle of our club meeting so I didnt want to argue or be disruptive (the three birthday parties of screaming kids were already disruptive enough). Despite the order being wrong and taking AN HOUR, it did arrive hot and looked like they used fresh ingredients. On my way out, I did mention the discrepancy in the order & they offered to make us another, but by that time we were heading home & didnt want to wait another hour for a pizzza that may or may not be correct. Very disappointing. I want to support the place since they host our club meeting, but Ill be eating before I come from now on & recommending to the club that they find a different meeting location. Dietary restrictions: They dont pay attention to dietary restrictions or requests, so beware - you may not get what you ordered.

Round Table Pizza is our family favorite! Weve just moved back to Bakersfield, and have missed their pizza, boneless chicken wings, garlic bread, etc. Theyre loved by kids too! Please give them a try. Pop in to see their cool ambiance.

I ordered my pizza at 3:45pm for pick up at 4:45pm. I got there at 4:53pm and my pizza wasn t ready. 1 large Maui Zaui. No special customization. The place was completely empty and finally one of the workers asked if I needed help and I told them I had a pizza for pick up 4:45pm. The guy went to the back area and after some conversations came back and said it ll be ready in 10 minutes. I said okay and sat down. Seconds later he came back and apologized and said the pizza should be ready soon and I guess his shift was over and left. Another female employee walked by and said they are making it right now and should be ready soon. Around 5:05 one of the workers comes up to the register and says my pizza is ready and it s in a medium box. I asked if that was a large and he asked if I ordered a large and I said yes. Another employee came over and they had a conversation and the guy said mine should be ready in 12 minutes. at 5:15 the same employee said my pizza is ready and it was the same size and he asked if I was a different customer. Seriously? I gave him my name again and told him it s already been 30 minutes and I ordered ahead and my pizza should ve been ready at 4:45pm. Another guy came over and said they will make my pizza right now. It s almost 5:30pm so I asked for a refund because it s just taking too long and they couldn t get my order right. Horrible service, there weren t any customers in the building and they had 3 or 4 employees in the back just chit chatting. I could ve went back there and made my own pizza. Horrible service, not sure what happened to this location. For the same price and better service, go to Cubbies Pizza or Magoos Pizza. Avoid this place, I m pretty sure they screwed up the Uber orders.

Only gave 1 star because we got our money back. Went there for the lunch buffet . $38.00 for 2 buffets that had brown lettuce, dirty cups and when we told them the soda machine had no ice they grabbed ice WITH THEIR BARE HANDS AND PUT IT IN OUR CUPS!!!!! Not to mention we were told it was only a 10 min wait for pizza, we were there for 15 min still waiting for the pizzas to be put out. We asked for our money back and got it back. Don t go to that location if you value your health, and time.

Rented the large party room that holds 72 people for 4 hours. It only cost 75.00. I decorated for my daughters baby shower. It was very nice! The pizza was great. The best party deal is 168.00 for 5 pizza 24 garlic knots(very delicious) and 20 drinks. I ordered 3 because it was a better value than just getting the large party pack. You can get in the room 30 minutes before to decorate. You can also ask to turn A/C on. I would make sure they bring your whole order out at same time. Otherwise guest are waiting for food. All in all a great time and value for a party.

I only deduct a star because its legit the most expensive pizza joint Ive ever been to and theres not even a displayed menu or an updated drink fountain. Spent $60 for two. However I have nothing negative to say about the cleanliness or friendliness. Great staff. Kid-friendliness: A few video games plenty of room to roam.

I was in there today for buffet. We arrived like at 2:40 , we got some salad and ate that first , went to go get pizza and they were throwing it out saying buffet ended at 3pm! I ate no pizza I asked to speak with the manager , and he refused to give me part of the refund since we only had salad I asked if I could get some pizza since he said no to refund and he repeated no more pizza Past 3pm!!!! What happened to all the good employees? Last time I was there they even let me take the last pizza home ,since they had to throw it out anyway. If you want good costumer service ,go somewhere else. I m sad because Roundtable pizza was my go to.

I did an online order through the Round Table website. Pizza was delivered to a wrong address. I called the Gosford location and was told there was absolutely nothing that could be done. The manager had no contact information for the delivery service they use. Then I overheard the manager complaining to another employee. Then the manager just hung up the phone. No help, no apology. Really bad customer service.

Average pizza, terrible service. They make sure to tell you not to steal their soda when you ask for a water cup (we re grown adults), but give you attitude when you ask for your money back (4 quarters) when their arcade games steal your kids money cause they don t work.

We traveled to Bakersfield today and had 2 separate orders. One was a LG garlic supreme w 12.99 for 6 pcs. Well the chicken was jerky and the pizza was not what we ordered. When we returned home at 10:45, I tried to call and see why this happened. Btw I live in California city out by Mojave so I could not take it back I will never fo there again.

We were gifted a gift card that somehow didnt have the amount that I was told it had. But the gentleman that served us was just as confused as I because the code hadnt been scratched off. So he gave us the meal on the house. The meal was descent but the service was amazing and very nice. I love this place just because of how nice they were.

Forgotten gem! The pizza is made with quality ingredients and it shows. It has great taste and is soft and crunchy where it matters. The wings are also good, theyre crunchy and saucey. Inside they have games and a banquet room for larger parties.

Hadnt been here in years. This place sure went down hill since the last time I was there. The place is dirty. Restrooms are filthy, dining room is filthy. While we waited for our pizza all of the employees disappeared. Seemed like the all took a smoke break. When they came back they all looked high and brought us our food nice and cold. The whole reason for us to eat at this place was to eat hot pizza. The food was bland and cold. Dishes in the back stacked and employees just standing around talking walking on dirty floors. From what I could see the whole back kitchen was filthy.

After coming here for years today I placed an order and was told a little over 30 min and after waiting over and hour and nobody visibly doing besides the poor guy in the register we left. I doesnt take over an hr for 2 pizzas. Sad that an establishment with good food is being run by people that obviously could care less. Definitely dont recommend unless you have tons of time to waste

I ordered for delivery. It s expensive pizza, so you think it s quality. It s not. Hardly any sauce, and they use some kind of cheese that reminded me of the cafeteria pizza I ate at school when I was a kid. Not only that, but I called and made sure they would bring lots of ranch, they brought none. This is not quality pizza, not worth the money. Go to mountain mikes or rustys for the same price, way better quality!

New to Bakersfield area and Round Table locations are hard to come by! So when I saw there was a Round Table near me I was so excited! Lol. I called five minutes to closing and wanted to order a personal pepperoni pizza The manager answered the phone and omg i cant remember his name! I wanna say Mike and told me they were closing in a few min. I was like no way really! I guess he heard the disappointment in my voice haha because he said what would you like no problem! And let me come pick it up 15 min after closing and it was the best pizza I have ever eaten!! Location on Gosford you are the best thank you!

The day I went, two customers complaint about their orders being wrong. Little did I know, that I was going to be one of them too - after waiting for over an hour even though I ordered in advance. In addition, the pizza was full and flavorless.

Round Table is consistently one of the best pizzas that I have ever eaten. But I was only six years old I went to my first round table way back in the 1960s. And I have loved it ever since. Almost every Round Table restaurant serves a very high-quality product. The only reason Im not giving it five star just because the price is quite expensive nowadays. However I love it so much I will continue to pay the premium price

We ordered takeout pizza due to the Covid 19, and the pizza was piping hot and quite tasty. There was ample cheese and pepperoni on the pizza. One of the major positive things about Round Table for me is that I was able to order on their website as I despise calling places. Keep it up Round Table.

Great place to take the family and eat. Good food and reasonable prices. Im editing my review because I want to add more. My family loves coming here. The pizza is the best in town in my opinion. Best always. Get the guinevere with extra sauce and chicken. Shazam and abracadabra, now Im a husky kid. Post mates order online for pickup. If you havent tried it, give it a chance. Its way better than dominoes or the regular chains. Family owned franchises too.

Not very busy tonight. Pizza was decent service was good. My opinion is its overpriced but thats just me. I feel that if Im going to pay $25 for a large pizza with two toppings Id rather get it from Rustys Pizza to be honest their pizza is always excellent.

Youre being robbed going here. Its the same quality as Little Caesars but twice the price. Ive been to round tables in northern and southern California. This is the first restaurant thats forced me to make a google review. Its sad it has to be round table because their pizza usually is very high quality. The pizza isnt worth what they charge you for. Do yourself a favor and get some Lil Caesars. Edit: Ive ordered a few more times from there a few months later. It really depends on the employees. 3/4 times the pizza was actual quality. Ill update my score and say ask to see your pizza before you leave

Here is the problem with this Round Table in southwest Bakersfield. We have attempted to order online for the several years we have lived here; the online ordering process never works. Apparently this Gosford location completely turns off its on-line ordering process until its delivery drivers arrive for the day around 5 pm (as in the ordering process wont even take the order) but their website does not even work after that time - although the website allows you to go through the entire ordering process (putting in your name, the order, that you want delivery, etc.) and then provides the error message when providing your credit card number that the webpage will not connect. Have tried this multiple time in the past year and each time have had to call in the order; mentioning the problem to the phone person taking the order and getting no helpful response. So, wanting Round Table pizza (which we consider a very good pizza) but not being able to order online (we are frustated and finally done with having to call in after attempting to order online), we are done with Round Table pizza - a shame since we are trying to support this local business. We now order through Magoos or MenEds. Maybe some day the franchisee of this location will get the home office to repair the website so orders can be taken. Too bad. If the owners care about this issue, please respond or contact us to finally get this issue resolved.

Terrible, it took them forever to bring the food. The toilets were poorly served, without paper to dry their hands and careless. They really lack customer service.

Dont order online. They took two hours to deliver 2 med pizzas and family sized salad.
