I ordered my steak medium rare. The first time it came out it was so raw basically still mooing on my plate. Barely seared at all. I asked one of the workers to get it cooked longer. They brought it out again… still very raw. I tried to eat the cooked parts but it was disgusting couldn’t get through the plate. Still had to pay 30 dollars for something inedible.

We decided to go and celebrate two birthdays on Easter Sunday at BJ’s. I thought it would be crowded but by the time we got there around 3pm, the early crowd had already left and the dinner crowd had not yet come, so it was a perfect time to dine as the wait was very short. Every single plate the seven of us ordered was delicious, came out timely, and our server was delightful. Very happy we went to BJ’s.

Went to bjs lady Thursday. There were 3 of us. Took 3 times to get my salad without cheese. The pizza was gooey and was awful. One of the people never even got their food. What can I say? Beautiful food, great service and a delightful atmosphere. This was my first visit to BJ’s in Bakersfield and I will be coming back again! I had the Parmesan Chicken and it was a reasonable portion which was very tasty especially with the butter sauce. For desert I had the Pizcookie, the bottom was a bit rocky and slightly burnt, but the ice cream made up for it- haha! Also, if you like your pizza to be crispy and not fluffy, I would let the server know just in case as my mother’s was a slightly fluffy and puffy base- she enjoyed it but we like ours crispy. Our waiter was exceptional and asked us how everything was and if we needed anything from time to time. Overall, a great place for the family, decently priced and lovely food. Thank you 😊

Great family restaurant! The food is always delicious and a great appetizer selection! Plenty of different food items to choose from! Nice and Friendly staff! Great spot to have birthday dinner ! This last visit, I went during happy hour and ordered a hamburger ! I did order my hamburger medium-well done, but it was pretty rare. Nether the less, i was ok with it and it was delicious ! Good size hamburgers My server was prompt and quick! Good selection of beers too! I will definitely be coming back! Thank you Dietary restrictions: Plenty of dishes to choose from. Great food and excellent service!! Our waitress was Fabulla A. Super sweet and very informative! She was quick and efficient. She sold me on the Berry Burst mixed with BJs Jeremiah Red. Sooooo delicious. I highly recommend. I had the Thai peanut noodles. My fam had the chicken parm and my kiddo had wings. Everything was fresh, hot and delicious. Cant forget the Chocolate chip Pazookie.

Today was my grandsons birthday. The witness forgot about the last person at the table to get theyre food order,which was me(grannie) this is the 3th time I have come to this restaurant and either my food was cold.or the order was wrong. And as they say in baseball 3 strikes your out. Then when she and the manager was aware, they wanted to accommodate me.no thank you. When they came out with a candle on the cookie. She light it and walked away There was another table that they song happy birthday to I would never come to this place again and spend a dime on Watch out . I would not give a -0 for the rating

This is only a review on management. Kitchen and wait staff are always great. Don t false advertise your seasonal drinks and drinkware if you re then going to tell us at the very end of the meal that we re not able to buy the drinkware even though it says so right on the menu. Any other place I ve gone to that runs out of special edition cups tells you right off the bat when ordering it that they are out of stock so you don t end up in this position. We wouldn t have ordered the drinks if we weren t going to be able to buy and take home the cups. Absolutely ridiculous.

Ordered lunch for curbside pickup today before work. I arrived and called letting them know I was there exactly 7 minutes after my scheduled time ( usually waiting for it to be completed). Not today I was advised it was ready she would bring out after she finished bagging up another big order . Waited . 10 minutes and called again asking about my order that should have been ready at 12:40pm. Again I was told it s ready but I m working on bagging up a big order. Now I m annoyed it s 25 minutes after my pickup time and nothings. Was my food hot? NOPE!!! Pizza cold, sliders soggy bread and cold. This service is horrible avoiding it! If you don t have the staff don t offer a service. Done with them.

Fun times and great food We got there today at 10 in the morning only to find out they are no longer showing out of market NFL games People were walking out in droves, talking about it in the parking lot. We are looking for another place after all these years. I feel sorry for the servers, they will be missing out on lots of money. The only games they are showing are the ones you can see at home so save your money and watch at home.

Came in on a Wednesday afternoon to celebrate my sons 12th birthday it was very empty so I assumed we would be seated right away but the host was sitting outside walked in once we came in to tell us there s only one servicer and we can seat our selfs at the bar keep in mind we have a child with us so we told her we would wait she said it s going to be 20mins like she was annoyed that we choose to wait. I normally enjoy coming here it s actually my favorite restaurant in town but this experience was horrible ! She continued to go outside very unprofessional.

The pizzas are so good, does service is excellent. The atmosphere is amazing. The staff are very welcoming. They are very open to what you need and what you want. And I hated Anchovies, I hate it. Theyre so much but now. I love them because b js mix them. So whale with the pizza well while it is not over powering. Like all other restaurants in other pizza places. They did amazing job on Anchovies pizza, it was so good in amazing. My husband told me to try it because he knows I hate and shall we? But I love them edit on top of the I got a sausage and pepperoni and bell. Pepper pizza with extra cheese and its really good. The crust is really soft and really done and inside. Not like these other restaurants. This is the best place you could get pizza. And other stuff.

Horrible experience. Soda was flat, filet mignon came out over cooked and flat, then charged twice for a $34 plate. My filet mignon did not look like a filet mignon and just sent it back by the time they brought the other one my family was done eating it didnt get to enjoy my dinner with my family. I then asked waitress for a to go box to just take it home because my hunger had gone away. My appetite was ruined. When the check came, and they had charged me twice for the $34 meal i sent the ticket back. They corrected it. Im a little bothered that during the experience they didnt even have the decency to help me out on the bill a little bit for my horrible experience dining with them. At least take the sodas off that helps at least its Something. Manager didn t even care to speak on the services behalf after he s the one first one we asked about the steak.

Came here with my husband and children excited to try a new place, was kinda disappointed. We were there for about 3 1/2 hours and you can imagine 90% of that time was waiting for what we ordered. Once we got our food it was cold out poor waitress who was so sweet seem very overwhelmed rightfully so seemed she was handling quite a few tables on her own. Atmosphere wise seems like it could be a great place to find in just needs improvement in the kitchen area.

June 30th 2024: So today we went out for dinner with my sister-in-law. We had so much fun. They made my steak perfect and everything tasted so good. Fabulla was our server she was over the top taking care of us. The restaurant was so nice the environment is so relaxing. Thank you Fabulla for taking such great care of us. onight 12/29/23: We went out for date night tonight. The wait was not very long because my husband went on line and put us on the list. Jaime took care of us and then Maria took over. They were both very attentive and checked on us all the time. The restaurant was very busy but it was awesome. The food was delicious. Thank you so much to everyone that works there. We had a wonderful date night. 7-21-19: ok. So we came here for my birthday party and it was awesome. Edwin was awesome. Took excellent care of us. Even boxed up our daughters meal to take home because she was sleeping.

Unfortunately, there was very little on the menu for vegetarians. They would not lower the price for the pasta options without the chicken or other meat options. The food was so good, but we probably will not go back or recommend this restaurant. Vegetarian options: Only pizza. vegeburger, or Salad.

Worst experience ever, my family and I arrived with a party of 10, they told us 1 hour and a half wait, since there was a lot of graduations we understood anywhere we go it will be the same, so we decided to stay and wait, we regret our decision since bigger parties were getting called in before us and they arrived after us, they never inform us that they had take reservations with time and they were fully booked for the day, 90 minutes went by so we try to see if we were next but they said NO that it will take 20 more minutes since a big party was just leaving they will clean and let us in, 20 minutes went by and nothing, we were hungry, hot and tired with kids that were bored, they were giving us excuses, we asked for the manager. He finally explained how they were completely booked, we got upset because they had us waiting for nothing, we will never go back, be aware of their poor management. From 5:35 to 8:01 its not a 80 mot 90 minute wait, dont lie to your customers.

I went there couple of time they all good service and good food. This time we went and they have is wait from 8:30pm to 10:55 it was 2 hours. No worth it. Specially long wait for food. I hop we get good service or free food or a drink for waiting to long. The restaurant should. Have. Us have free food for waiting to long waisting our time. I walked in at night to see two young hostesses just gossiping away about coworkers and customers. The offered us to sit at the bar but we wanted a booth. They seemed upset about it and told us it was going to take 15 minutes even though the place was almost empty. I think they were trying to get us to leave because we got our table 3 minutes later. Our waiter was a older Hispanic man who seemed to be rushing us. He was pretty inept at his job cause I had to ask the hostesses for napkins and utensils on at least three separate occasions. By the time our food got out our Fries were cold and my burger was overcooked. We didnt want to say anything since we seemed like we were already on their bad side. Finally get the check and I get up to pay since the man was busy. And he rushed up to hostess booth and stood over me as if I wasnt going to pay. Felt very uncomfortable. I wont be coming here again

Our waitress Hannah was the best server ever!! She was very kind, friendly, she made our experience at BJ s memorable and definitely deserves props. She made us feel welcome and made my girlfriend feel very special for her birthday! The drinks were delicious and the dessert was great! Came there today, asked our server for a kids menu took 4 times of me asking for her (Sharlene) to understand and after grabbing us the kids menu she proceeded to give us an attitude the rest of the time. After giving us our drinks she asked if we were ready to order, and I replied yes we are ready to order and she just walked away. We waited another 10-15 mins and when she returned she took our order with an attitude. We didn t feel welcomed and sat there for another 20 mins after we ordered our food we decided to go elsewhere (Texas road house). We have been to this BJs many of times and always had great service but this was just terrible.

The staff was friendly! The pizza was really good!!! The salads were bland. The dessert was undercooked even though it took a long time to come out, which means they were cooking it right then and there, awesome, but it was undercooked. Drove All the way from Texas to visit my parents. Decided to come to BJs never had an issue with the ones in Round Rock, Waco or Temple. This BJs truly disappointed us. After waiting for damm 40 minutes went inside to be seated and they messed up & gave our table to other people. They were scared to tell those other people that they messed up and gave them our table. Service was super slow with our food which really sucked. Stayed in Redondo Beach before coming to Bakersfield & service was awesome out there. Very Disappointed & NEVER again will we be returning here.

We frequent BJs often, due to the specials and service. I think its time for a break. Our server was terrible. She never put in our drink orders, I had to walk to the bar which prompted her to say oh I forgot. Appetizers were just ok. Our silverware were absolutely disgusting. Greasy and dried food particles on them. I asked for different sets. My daughters cinnamon roll pizookie was not fully cooked, it looked terrible. At that point we were done. I paid the bill, left a smaller then usual tip and we left. Very disappointed for an over 100 dollar dinner.

Extremely disappointed. After being given a wait time of 30 min and waiting 40 min we inquired about our wait. We were told they had already seated us. Another couple had been sat on our reservation. During dinner families were allowing children to run around tables with no regard for staff or customers. Equally disturbing is when we were eating we were approached by a young child selling candy bars for a dollar. When dining in at a restaurant where the average couple will spend $90.00 it is disgraceful to have such a poorly maintained environment. This use to be a nice restaurant, sadly that is no longer the case and we will not return.

Our waitress Katelyn was absolutely perfect friendly and totally on top of everything without being overbearing. And the food was excellent! Bountiful, fresh guac and chips and smokey salsa. My seared Ahi Salad was fresh, light and full of nice flavors! My husband had the tri tip and raves about the sauce as well as how it was cooked to perfection! We were too stuffed for a pazookie, sadly, but this was an A+! Nice music (not too loud), too!

Not worth the money, I have had Bjs in the past & it was alright not all that but second was even worse. The food is nasty (raw), greasy & expensive. Worst experience.

I loved the look of the restaurant. I liked that I could call ahead to book my seat. However, to do seat reservations online was not available. We were seated quickly. I got avacado egg rolls, a side salad, beer, and a tea. It was ok. My friend ordered a sweet tea, and it came out as a brisk iced tea. He ordered a cheese burger with ketchup and mustard no ketchup and mustard were on the burger or provided. So a disappointment. The server sucked. The other servers seemed to be more efficient. The server didnt provide the table number, so the pay at the table via online thing was useless. The server was unattentive, and I shouldnt have to chase someone down to get the check. I was nice I left the server a tip, but she ruined our experience.

I had the most wonderful dining experience here thanks to our amazing server, Laura. From the moment we walked in, Laura greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel incredibly welcome. She was incredibly attentive throughout our meal, always ensuring that we had everything we needed. What truly stood out was how friendly and accommodating Laura was towards my children. She took the time to interact with them, offering coloring sheets and crayons to keep them entertained. She even made helpful menu suggestions tailored to their preferences, which made the dining experience stress-free for us parents. Her genuine care and hospitality truly made our visit memorable. We just celebrated my husband s birthday at BJ s Restaurant. What an amazing experience! The manager, Balvemar and his team (our servers) were awesome! The servers were very attentive, friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious, especially the grilled chicken alfredo. It was the best I ever had! My husband was happy, I was happy and so were my guests. It was indeed a memorable experience. I highly recommend BJ s Restaurant to everyone! Della and Curtis Rufus

Not happy! Burger sliders were literally a charred patty that had been cut into 4 triangles!! Didnt even fill the round slider bun.. obviously! There were no condiments or sauce or cheese on the side! My Tri tip sliders had about a dime size dollop of sauce and was missing the bbq sauce! Fine if you dont want to soak the bun but at least put sauces on the side..and give the ample amount! Funny how part of the amount you pay is a tip included! This assumes the job will be well done and done correctly! Never again! Step it back up BJs
