Been wanting to try the food here for quite some time. Ordered a standard cheeseburger and fries. Order was on time and the hostess at pickup was incredibly friendly and pleasant. Never been inside but looks like a nice place to bring a buddy for a drink and a bite. A little too small for a family dining experience. When I got home with my meal, I immediately realized they did not include the ranch I requested. The amount of fries were ok, I guess, but could have been more. The fries were delicious though. The burger was made appropriately. The veggies though hurt the burger. The butter lettuce was exciting but seemed as though it was more white than green and only one leaf. The tomato slices were ends. Meaning, both slices were small and pretty much skin and tough to bite through without pulling the entire piece out. Did the burger include everything as advertised, yes. Was it satisfying? For $20, I was expecting a better experience with a wow factor flavor. The fries were more satisfying unfortunately.

The food was delicious. I recommend the ahi salad and subbing the spring mix for butter lettuce. The truffle fries were eaten too quickly to snap a pic, needless to say they were a favorite! The service was prompt albeit we walked in on a Friday late afternoon and it wasn’t busy (maybe due to the heat of 110 outside?). The location is convenient and in a nice shopping center. If it wasn’t so hot I’d probably love to sit on their nice patio with misters!

Our first time eating here and it was a good experience. We just order fish and Chips and some simple salad. Everything was delicious and service was great. We download an app and got a 10 dollars discount which is awesome. Sure we will come again

I come here often for food and drinks. I particularly love the list of local craft beers. They do have IPAs and stouts. All of there food is amazing!
On this particular occasion I had fish tacos; definitely good but I prefer and strongly reccomend the burgers. Eureka is also great for brunch; several mimosa options including a flight 👌🏽
They have an outside patio with shades and heaters for the winter. I cant recall if there are fans for summer time.

The beef didn’t taste aged…not sure where they were going with it but it wasn’t remotely worth the 21 dollars they charge for it.

We ordered other menu items but nothing was noteworthy. The portions of fries were all totally skimpy. My son ordered a piece of chocolate lava cake and was presented with a tiny portion the size of a Hostess Ding Dong…which would have been fine had it been quality, but it was evident it was just ordered from a restaurant food provider.

You can get better appetizers and burgers elsewhere. Bet on it! BJ’s and Yard House both flank this place, and you’ll receive better value and quality for your money at either establishment.

Not a place I will be returning to. Service from the get go was slow, even though it was no too busy. Seating was not ideal. Took quite awhile to get service and when we got the food, it was not good. I am not a difficult person by any means, and I typically do love all foods, but for the price I paid, it should have been the best food I ever had in my life and it was not. I will just stick to the places I know and love.

Honestly this is a VERY good resturaunt with great food quality. The place is usually always packed so sometime service can be a little slow but I promise it is worth the wait. The mac N cheese balls and the cowboy burger are by far my favorite paired with a nice blonde beer. The interior and vibe/atmosphere and the music make me feel like I am back in Washington state and it has a very home like feel to it. It is kind of tucked away in a spot next to riverwalk park. I hope everyone who lives in Bakersfield at least goes here once to try it out.

Not a place I will be returning to. Service from the get go was slow, even though it was no too busy. Seating was not ideal. Took quite awhile to get service and when we got the food, it was not good. I am not a difficult person by any means, and I typically do love all foods, but for the price I paid, it should have been the best food I ever had in my life and it was not. I will just stick to the places I know and love.

Food was mediocre, nthn special about the burgers. I ordered the dbl "smash burger" as they call it, but when I got it it looked just like a regular dbl burger not an actual smash burger as it says on the menu. Flavor wise was just normal plain burger I could've ordered elsewhere nthn special about it. Only went there because of an invite.

Wow! Got terrible service from the guy at the front. We never got inside. He kept on putting other parties ahead of us and whe I asked he said they had reservations. It was clearly a lie. Hears the food is great here, bit we'll never know.

I ordered my food to go and one burger was gluten free ( do to allergy) there was no indication on the packaging and the toppings weren't correct . I called the restaurant to give feedback on the gluten free order and they were fantastic offered to remake. We did decline the offer and scraped off what was incorrect and figured out which one was gluten free.. The manager was fantastic and offered a refund on the burger. This was my first time there and the food was delicious I will definitely be back here again!!! The management took care of my issues and was Amazing

Yesterday me and my wife went to go have dinner here, staff was friendly and service was great. I got the bison burger and she got the spicy chicken sandwich. We also got the truffle fries. Food tasted good, unfortunately we ended up getting really bad food poisoning.

The bison burger had a nice kick to it but not bad at all. Their sweet potato fries were very good too. It was a little slow when I went in so the mood felt really laid back I think a total of 4 others were in there with me and it wasn't pin drop quiet but enough to know those eating were also enjoying their meals.

Man, I don’t remember Eureka being this mediocre. Their menu is basically a bunch of very similar burgers, a bunch of fried things, and some unappealing salads. It is basically a beer-centric Applebees with a good whiskey selection. This Eureka sits amongst a murders row of forgettable food that’s bad for you. We walked past a Panera, BJ’s, and PF Chang’s and decided to go here and, at the time, it seemed like no brainer to pass those places and not continue on to Chipotle or Yardhouse. In retrospect, we probably should have chosen Yardhouse or Panera. There were a ton of people working there and not many people dining but service was still very slow (we waited about 10 minutes after getting our menus very before someone came back to take our order). They were out of the first three beers my friend tried to order. Food was forgettable. Highlight of the meal was the tap water. Do not recommend.

This review is solely based on my experience today. I placed an pick up order online, and it said my order would be ready between 6:10 and 6:15pm. I showed up at 615, and a girl at the front helped me she took my name and said she would be right back. 15 minutes passed by, and I stood up from where I was waiting, and that's when I noticed the hostes was going around serving other tables. If she didn't want to help me, she could have just let someone else do it. Finally, another server got my name and got my order right away, which let me know my order was there the whole time, and she chose to make me wait. So the rumors are true. The way you look determines the level of service you will receive at Eureka.

We have never dined in the restaurant, only out in the patio with our pup. They have good burgers, the misters help keep it cool in warm weather, they have dog bowls for water, and they have friendly staff.

The fresno burger is good, so is the American. The impossible birthday I ate could have been cooked a little longer. They have great fried, a nice selection of libations, good fries, yummy appetisers.

Got the Americana burger was good but put together sloppy causing burger to slide apart. For the price presentation should be there! The smash burger is not a smash burger regular patties poor Maillard reaction! Our waiter seemed like he didn’t want to be there never refilled my drink and didn’t bother to look in my direction seems focused on something happening outside.

Good was decent but entering want so bad. We had two different burgers. The bison was bland but the jalapeños have it flavor. While I think they added way too much fig in the other burger it over powered the burger. It was supposed on both sides. I would either ask for it on the side or no fig

Went here with 2 friends and got the belching beaver peanut butter milk stout and the Fresno fig burger because it's so good with truffle fries for about 30$ for just me. Food and service was very good as usual and stayed consistent over the years.

Had a great experience even with mandatory outdoor dining and having to order using the app that only allows 24 character notes 🤔😒

Got 2 burgers and both were great and I really like that they had the peanut butter milk stout which is a personal favorite.

Prices are always a little high but not break the bank.
Was about 45$ for 2 people getting 2 hamburger deals and 1 beer.

Walked in was greeted sat down and no service for 10min with empty tables everywhere on a not so busy Thursday afternoon…saw 3 employees just chatting away back of bar area hostess hugging on a friend .. So I left no service I’m at the Yardhouse now 😀

I visited Bakersfield for many years before finding this area, and Eureka! is clearly one of the best restaurants in town. Everytime I've eaten here, whether solo or in a group, I've been very happy.

The food is wonderful. Lots of creative options on the menu and it's all delicious. Personally, the brussel sprouts and their burgers are my favorites. The mac and cheese balls are great as well.

Very nice atmosphere with outdoor seating if you would like. Lots of great beers on tap and a full bar with craft cocktail options. The service has been top notch both visits as well. Friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive.

Came in and was asked inside or outside seating, I choose outside. Hostess then said it’s closed. Why offer choices then. Then she wanted to sit us in the corner and got upset when I asked for a different table. Ordered a prime dip sandwich and ran to bathroom a few minutes later sick. Not sure if I was served something not fresh compliments of the rude hostess. Definitely do not recommend. I was so embarrassed that I didn’t say anything.

Had a nice late dinner after helping family move we ate on the Patio by the fire great ambiance. Our server was excellent helping Us decide Our Cocktail orders and attentive during Our meal. Fish and Chips we're tasty great dipping sauce and the 28 day Burger was delicious the clear Star of Our meal. The Mac n Cheese balls we're fun and tasty and the drinks A++ they definitely don't play tight on the Pour 😉 will be back to try more of this Menu.

The only thing that I didn't like was that we were on the patio due to lack of seating which was fine. However, when people started to leave it would have been nice for them to offer us a seat indoors. It was cold and super windy and we had a small child with us. Other than that, the food was amazing, customer service was soooo great. I can't wait to go back again

Great food, large burgers, yummy sides. Their drinks are super yummy and eating on the patio is always nice. They even have a spot where they put out a water bowl and dog treats for your furry companions... I know it's meant to treat the dogs, but it's also a "viewing site" where you are bound to see a cute dog or two ☺️ Oh, and my favorite - all their employees are so friendly and helpful +++ just a huge plus

Very friendly staff, delicious food, and great service. I had the chicken nachos and the seared ahi salad which was prepared perfectly. Didn’t take any pictures but highly recommend this place and will definitely come back to eat again when I head out to the racetrack next.

I've been coming to this particular site for about 4 years, and the staff never seizes to be amazing. They are friendly and attentive. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is great. It's definitely more of a date night, girls/boys night out type of vibe, but they do accommodate for if you have children, which makes it even better. I also love that the music isn't overbearing, so you are able to have a decent conversation without having to yell. My favorite is the Cowboy burger and truffle fries, but the veggie burger is amazing. Would recommend definitely recommend to give it a try.

We dont travel to bakersfield much, but Eureka didn 't let us down. Last minute, holiday travel week, tired kiddos and everything was awesome. We had a great server - she was absolutely on point and made us feel extra welcomed. Stop by and try this place out, its worth it.

Great beers, whisky, and amazing burgers, i would recommend this place to anyone trying to go out to an american restaurant.
