I found the music vulgar and offensive.
The meat in the green enchiladas tasted like the pig was fed trash.
My red enchilada came in a bed of oil.
The beans and rice were good.
Salsa, was tomato sauce, onions and oregano.
Definitely not coming back.

1st time visted after a family funeral. Authentic Mexican food. No lard in the beans or anything else. Full adult bar with excellent margaritas any flavor or virgin. Yes children can dine here. The decorations absolutely beautiful. The staff friendly knowledgeable helpful on the items on the menu. I will be taking the 2 hour drive just to dine here for just a drive away from Los Angeles. Can accommodate large families. The price for the 6 people was easy on our budget. The food selections were extremely wonderfully delicious upon be placed on our table. We all ate everything on our various plates.
Parking was easy yes there are handicap ♿️ spaces plenty of parking spaces.

I’ve found my new favorite Mexican food restaurant! We almost left because it looked really crowded but the people coming out told us how good it was so we stayed and I’m so glad we did. The shrimp flautas appetizer was something I had never seen before so we tried it and loved it. We tried multiple items on the menu including Molcajetes, white enchiladas, tacos, tamales and everything was seasoned to perfection and cooked perfectly. The rice and beans were excellent as well. We tried this place because of the high ratings and were not disappointed. You have to give it a try!

I got the chicken enchiladas plate, rice and beans were a bit bland, the chicken was very delicious and nicely seasoned. But the star of the show was definitely the salsa and freshly made tortilla chips. The staff was nice. Food came out fairly quick. Nicely decorated and not too busy decoration wise. Great selection of alcoholic beverages.

I understand why the waiter Miguel didn't want to take care of us, we had 3 adults and 2 kids, maybe because it was slow, but we ended up spending $165, had his service been better, no doubt easily would have gotten a 20% tip, but his service sucked ass, we had to keep asking for things like napkins, plates, silverware, refills, and the busser should have gotten the 15% we left, she took care of us better then the actual server did. Hopefully, management acknowledges this review.

I love this ceviche ❤️ as professional margarita consumer, decent margaritas ❤️❤️ I'm thinking why not the same bartenders? I'm a diehard about fairness.. I'm kinda concern why the change of bartenders?.. hope the employees are OK?. Atmosphere a little open, which is ok... but intimatacy kinda would be nice. I've had other food here....mmmmmm, not sure I loved it... ceviche my favorite 😍. Some of the waitresses are superb ❤️, I don't know their names, but they know who they are... thank you for what you do❤️❤️... thank you for good ceviche and pretty good margaritas...

Have been to this one a couple of times and we will not be going back to this one. They put us in the corner because we had three kids. My kids were not being bad like other ones in there. Food was over cooked and told them about. The lady was rude because I said I was not going to eat it. I still paid for it. Did not ask to take it off. Was just telling them.

I have been a customer and a dasher for this wonderful restaurant for over a couple of months and they are genuinely the kindest staff with the tastiest food. If you're not sure what exactly you're craving, I promise it's this. Whether its delivery, or you come and sit in their beautiful interior you really can't go wrong. (:

Excellent service, everyone was friendly helpful and authentically nice.
Excellent food, from the chips and salsa to the entree (chicken fajitas). The salsa was clearly made fresh and was perfect. The seasoning on the chicken was outstanding. As a native California this is some of the most authentic Mexican I've had in a very long time. I highly recommend!

Went in for a quick bite with the wife as they’re conveniently located less than ten minutes from the house. However, after being sat and served waters with some expired chips with disgusting salsa, that was it… The server never came back and took our order. It wasn’t busy either. After nearly 20 minutes of waiting we departed. Fix your service and when food is expired throw it away as those chips definitely expired hours ago. That salsa? Gross!🤮

I’m usually not one to write reviews, but I genuinely don’t understand how this place has 4.5 stars… You know the food isn’t going to be good when you walk in and it doesn’t smell like Mexican food at all in the place. It smells like a nail salon. & the food was bland af. Then it was just awkwardly quiet and an awkward set up. Then the servers seemed so rush rush when hardly anyone was in there. I’d get 1 word out & they’d scurry off before I was finished asking for something.

Unfortunately, our experience was not great. We waited 30 minutes before we had to ask to order and this only came after a new group of people were asked for their order. Also, people who arrived a lot later than we did received their food before us. Also, the waiters were very attentive to the other tables next to us but, not once were we asked if we needed anything. Not even a refill for water. The fastest part of the service was when we were given the check to pay.

My wife, son and I went to eat around noon Saturday. They let me order a chilaquiles plate even though breakfast was over. It was really good. My wife ordered fish tacos and she said they were good. The chips and salsa were really fresh and tasted great. Service was excellent.

Stopped in for Dinner on our way back from Arizona. Place was lively, lots of families enjoying their meals. I can see lots of margaritas. If I wasn't driving, I would've loved to drink a few.

My dining partners ordered rice and beans and fish Tacos. I ordered the mixed beef and chicken fajitas. Oh boy! The portion was Huge😳. It's big enough to feed all 3 of us. Lots of left overs. The salsa Verde was one of the best I've ever had.

I've been coming to rancho grande for sometime now. This place nails it with the food and drinks all the time. The fountain drinks are always refreshing. Food is always good, tortilla chips and salsa are fresh and warm. Staff friendly and your never waiting to be seated! Happy hour is from 3-6 pm FYI. If you like the mango shooters you should try chuys Tamarindo shooters. Pictures of my fajitas mix and wife's pomegranate margarita but she took a drink.

The food at this place was excellent I tried the shrimp tacos, and they were tasty. The white rice with vegetables and beans were also delicious. However, the service could use improvement. We had to wait a while to be seated, and others around us received their drinks before we did.

Giving 4 stars because I've been here a lot and know the food is great BUT I had the alpastor burrito and it was filled with bones. Damn near broke my teeth when I bit into some of them. Didn't say anything at the restaurant because I'm not that person. So I just took it home hoping I'd just pick through it for the bones but it was just odd and weird so I just threw it away. Waste of money. Don't know what kind of quality control there is, if any, but bones in the burrito where they're hidden and can hurt someone is not okay.

Nice place with some great service. Plenty of tvs to watch sports on and a good selection of beverages at the bar. I ordered the Carne asada and the meat was a little tough but full of flavor. Overall the plate was pretty decent.

Food tasted like it was microwaved. It came out 5 min after we ordered it. Service was lacking. The waiter we had, did not want to be there you could tell by his face. After we ordered food not once did anyone come to the table to ask how we were doing or to ask if we needed a refill. Had to ask for tortillas and had to ask for another entree as one of the ones we had was small. And the whole time the servers acted as if I’m the one doing wrong. Like I’m not paying for the food and service. I would not recommend.

Very delicious and excellent we got a special jalapeno sauce to dip chips very tasty not too hot compliments to the Chef. The Nachos are Fire and the chicken enchiladas are Amazing so much flavor with a little shot of Don Julio 1942 We will definitely be back.

The atmosphere is great, the staff is friendly and make great suggestions. Chuy, the Manager and Bartender is on point. His Tamarindo Margaritas are the best, perfect combinations of spirit and flavor. We happened to drop in on a Friday night when they had a special guest performing live music, and it was a great experience. This last Friday went back and I have to say this was a great view to watch the baseball game.

The whole experience was great!
I had never been to a Rancho Grande Mexican Grill but I was craving a pork tamale so I thought i'd give them a try. I met one of the owners, Andres, and he was very welcoming. He took the time to helped me with my selection and it was perfect. I have nothing negative to say. I have found my new go to place, and i'll be back.

It's loud and noisy it's more of a bar than restaurant at least the atmosphere is bar atmosphere. If you want to drink, this is a place to go. You want a nice quiet dinner, NOT the place to go

Nice looking dining room that is clean and well lit. Staff was very attentive and polite as well. The only reason I'm not giving more stars is because of the flavor of my food. The refried beans had a fishy 🐟 taste to them. The chicken mole left a bitter after taste as well. While the overall presentation was nice,I was a little disappointed with the taste.

Terrible experience. Went to celebrate daughters birthday. Ordered drinks. Waitress was unsure of drinks, and went and sat down. We just left. I'll never go back. If she had communicated better we would have stayed to try the food. Never again though. There are way too many excellent Mexican Restaurants here to bother again.

We went for happy hour, so we beat the crowd. (It was packed by the time we left.) The margaritas were very strong, not very sweet at all, so only serious drinkers should order a margarita on the rocks here! We ordered fish and shrimp tacos, which were huge. The fish was very tender, not breaded and fried like other places. The shrimp was ok. I wasn't very hungry, so asked how big the tacos were and the waiter made them seem small, so I ordered a combo plate with both tacos, rice and beans. I would have been fine with 1 taco. I couldn't even pick them up, had to eat them with a fork.

My wife and I had lunch at the Rancho Grande Mexican Grill. The restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was relaxing, music was great, and the service was fantastic.

When we arrive we were immediately greeted and seated by a gentleman, who presume to be the owner or manger. He was very nice, polite, and immediately took our drink order. Within minutes we were enjoying our frosty cold beers, and we placed our order with the waiter.

While it didn't take long for our food to arrive, our waiter, another waiter, and the owner/manger checked on us to see if we needed anything else. Honestly, in a day and age when customer service is lacking, the staff at this restaurant is outstanding.

Our food arrived a short time later. I order the fajitas with steak, chicken, and shrimp and my wife ordered the fish tacos. The food was fresh, warm, and the seasonings on the plate were exceptional. The fajitas are one of the best in town (IMO). My wife also said the fish tacos were excellent and the Chipotle sauce was great and a little spicy.

The portion sizes for both plates are larger than we are use to (but don't change anything). Overall this was an excellent dining experience and I would recommend them to anyone looking for great food and service.

We had a group of 7 and most of us had not ever been there before. The food was a bit basic and not very flavorful. There are several Mexican food restaurants here in Bakersfield and I would choose others over this one. The staff was nice and attentive.

When I opend the front door to this place I was immediately filled with happiness. The Restaurant was full of family's, Kids of all ages dining with their family. The atmosphere was very happy. You could feel it walking in. The restaurant was basically packed. It looks way bigger on the outside. I came in with a friend for a Margarita. A few spaces open at the bar. We set down and in seconds we were greated and the bartender took our order. We both got spicy mango margaritas on the rocks. Made from scratch, let me tell you. Absolutely amazing. We enjoyed some chips and salsa too. 10 out of 10 on the chips and salsa. I'd drink the salsa if nobody was looking. 🤭💪so yeah, I only had one drink here and some chips and salsa. But I would definitely come back for some food. Service was amazing. I'm sure the food is the same. Because like I said the restaurant was packed. I can't wait to go back and try some food. When I do ill let you know. I'm not a betting man but I definitely would bet the food is amazing.

Anabel Gonzalez was an amazing waitress she had about 5 tables with a packed house to wait on but she still made sure to check on us a lot ❤️❤️ Good food and great drinks
